Evans used as tight end-like blocker in 11 personnel for 11-yard TD

Evans was deployed in 11 personnel against Seattle and was so condensed on one play that he functioned almost like a tight end in the blocking scheme, resulting in an 11-yard touchdown; this situational personnel grouping allowed San Francisco to run the ball consistently.
