From the episode

Another year of A.J. Barner, Elijah Arroyo in year two, a full offseason of Rashid Shaheed. Like we're going to get these guys way more involved in the offense than we did. And so far, it just hasn't really felt like that.

NeutralRole

Barner underutilized despite expectations for increased role

Barner was expected to be more involved in the Seahawks offense this year as an ancillary pass catcher, but so far the offense has not really featured him as much as anticipated; the source notes that another year of Barner, along with Elijah Arroyo in year two and a full offseason of Rashid Shaheed, were supposed to make the offense more consistent, but that hasn't happened up to this point.
