The Ringer Fantasy Football Show on David Montgomery

PodcastWeek 3 Preview: One Stat for Every GameSeptember 25, 2026

From the episode

David Montgomery had like 10 yards rushing. It was a mess...the Colts allowing the most yards over the last like 10 years, I think you have to, if they can't run on the Colts and three touchdowns week one.

Montgomery had 10 rushing yards last week; Colts' weak defense offers rebound

Montgomery had only 10 yards rushing in Week 2 against the Bengals; the Texans' run game has been ineffective, though the source still expects him to be playable against the Colts' historically poor defense (allowing 1,029 yards in two games, the most in the NFL and most allowed in any two-week span in 10 years).
