Dak had 14 seconds to work with. You can't take a sack. The game, you can't take a sack. So it's like you only have so long, but if you just fire that ball to Pickens, game's over, touchdown.

Prescott failed to execute on final drive with 14 seconds, threw away open Pickens.

Prescott had 14 seconds to work with on the final drive of the Cowboys-Ravens game and could not execute; he took a sack and threw the ball away over George Pickens' head in the end zone when Pickens was open, leading to a field goal attempt instead of a potential touchdown. The source notes that Kirk Cousins completed a drive in 12 seconds the same day, and the Cowboys had failed to spike the ball in 19 seconds earlier in the season, suggesting Prescott's execution was subpar in a critical moment.
