Source recommends elevating Ford from practice squad as experienced backup option.

Ford, age 27, is already on the Cardinals' practice squad and the source recommends elevating him immediately. A fifth-round pick by Cleveland in 2022, Ford had a career-high 813 yards on 204 carries with four TDs in 2023 when Chubb was injured, split carries with Hunt, and has 107 receptions for 647 yards in his career, showing involvement in the short passing game. Elevating Ford would give Arizona Allgeier, Ford as backup, and Hull at RB3.
