ArticleFantasy Football Trade Advice: Players to Buy, Sell or Hold (Week 9)
From the article
This isn't the George Pickens we saw in 2025. He's down to a 20.6% target rate this season, way behind CeeDee Lamb at 31.9%. He's also posted only 60% and 57% snap rates over the past two weeks, which isn't particularly promising. Part of the disappointment is that Pickens has only scored two touchdowns, which I'm confident will eventually lean back in his favor... I'd be open to selling Pickens at some point, but not now.

Pickens' 20.6% target share is down, but hold for TD regression and spike week.
Pickens is not the player from 2025, with his target rate down to 20.6% this season, well behind CeeDee Lamb at 31.9%. He also posted only 60% and 57% snap rates over the past two weeks. However, with only two touchdowns scored, the source is confident touchdowns will eventually regress back in his favor. Like Parker Washington, the source would be open to selling Pickens at some point but not now, as he's a spike week waiting to happen and will fetch more after a 20-point performance than a two-reception game.
