Blogging The Boys on George Pickens

Pickens benched for first two plays of critical possession, costing Cowboys OT chance.

Cowboys WR benched in critical possession on the drive after recovering Arizona's onside kick with Dallas leading 27-24 and 2:11 remaining at the Cardinals' 20-yard line. The source states: 'CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens were both left on the sideline for the first two plays.' This conservative play-calling sequence by Schottenheimer left Dallas' two best receivers on the sideline during a crucial opportunity to put the game away, ultimately costing the Cowboys a chance to win in regulation.
