Mitchell's top-target role uncertain; Jets' receiver depth and Chiefs' second-best WR defense create risk.

Mitchell proved he can be the top target for the Jets last week against the Raiders, but the source is concerned about consistency. Rookie Omar Cooper Jr. started and played a full complement of snaps but had zero targets after going off the previous two weeks. The Jets have too many receivers to predict who will be the top guy each week: Garrett Wilson, two tight ends they like, and Breece Hall (returning this week) who is a strong receiver. Additionally, the Chiefs have allowed the second-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers, making this a risky week for Mitchell.
