He eclipsed 12 half PPR points only three times in 17 games, but he scored 40 in week 15... you're going to need them to be in a different role to actually pay off this ADP. And if the quarterback hasn't improved and the role is probably not going to change, then why are we drafting him so early?

Pitts goes in round seven while Kittle goes in round eight–nine, making Pitts overpriced relative to the source's preference. He finished 21st in PPG last season, averaging 6.7 half-PPR points per game in the 12 games Drake London played and exceeding 12 points only three times in 17 games. His season finish of sixth in PPG was heavily skewed by a 40-point outlier in week 15; without London missing time, Pitts provides low-end tight end production. Pitts requires a significant role change to justify his ADP; without improved quarterback play and a different role from last year, there is no reason to draft him early, as his current role does not support the draft capital being invested. The source notes these tier-four players slip in drafts and are available later, and tier three and four tight ends are not a priority.
