Silva moved Jacobs up to 47 overall but remains concerned. Silva's main issue: Jacobs' effectiveness waned last year; Packers OL ranked 29th-30th by Brandon Thorne; best way to combat declining OL is short passing and quick release (Jordan Love, Jaden Reed, Tucker Kraft can do this), not running Jacobs repeatedly. Silva doesn't want Jacobs regardless of legal situation; thinks he's in decline. Packers defense will give up lots of points, not conducive to controlling ball and running Jacobs. Levitan notes Jacobs is 28 with 2,000+ NFL touches; seemed to wear down last year. Both expect if legal stuff clears, Jacobs goes early round three minimum. Packers could add to backfield (Trey Benson, James Conner speculation). Chris Brooks opened camp on NFI.
