What happened with Saquon Barkley last year, Hayden, to me actually was not an individual talent drop. It was an environmental drop. He was 16th in rushing yards before contact per attempt last year when he ranked second in 2024.

Saquon Barkley ranked seventh overall, going in round two on every platform despite being the best player in fantasy football just two seasons ago. 2025 decline was environmental, not talent-based: ranked 16th in rushing yards before contact per attempt (down from 2nd in 2024) but still 7th in explosive runs with 58 (down from 2nd with 77). With Jeff Stoutland gone, healthier and more cohesive offensive line should return him to 2024 form. Sean Mannion as new OC should improve Eagles offense from 19th in scoring last year. Offensive line returning, more under-center work, more outside zone, more diverse run game. Positive regression: only 1 rushing TD on 11 carries inside five-yard line last year (not Saquon-like). Cam Juergens and Atlanta Dickerson weren't healthy; Lane Johnson missed nine games.
