If Kyler Murray is a lot closer to Kirk Cousins, Sam Darnold tier, which if you just would have pulled us like a year ago, we would have said like, absolutely. He's in that tier. I think he's going to go back to where he was.
STACKED’s take
Jefferson's 2025 decline was QB play; Kyler Murray should restore 20+ PPG form.
Justin Jefferson ranked ninth overall, ahead of Yahoo ADP at 11 and best ball slot. Kyler Murray acquisition is big deal. Throwing out horrific 2025 Vikings season, Jefferson averaged most PPR points per game from 2022-2024 (three-year sample over 20 PPG). Removing Josh Dobbs and Jaron Hall games shows QB play was limiting factor. If Kyler Murray performs closer to Kirk Cousins/Sam Darnold tier (which he was a year ago), Jefferson returns to form. Once had most receiving yards per game in NFL history around 100 (now Puka Nakua). Vikings were 26th in points per game last year; could be top 10 with Kyler. Very pass-heavy offense that won't change. Kyler had DeAndre Hopkins at 88 yards per game in 2020, 80 yards per game another year, Trey McBride at 72 yards per game as tight end.
