JJ Zachariason notes Pickens was a must-draft player last season due to being an efficient young WR transitioning from low-volume offense to super high-volume offense with elite contingent upside. Price tag increased from round five to early third round, but durability and upside justify it. Contingent upside remains insane—if CeeDee Lamb misses significant time, Pickens projects as top-five WR in those weeks. Very little systemic risk in Dallas offense; even with Lamb healthy all season, Pickens will be a really solid pick in early third round.
