Treylon Burks achieved 70 receptions, 1,000 yards, and seven touchdowns as a rookie—only 14 other wide receivers in NFL history have accomplished this feat. JJ Zachariason calls him a superstar talent with obvious long-term potential. However, Bryce Young is significantly limiting the offense: Young ranked 35th in highly accurate throw rate, 35th in yards per pass attempts, 39th in deep throw percentage, and 39th in air-to-target last season, with the Panthers at 25th in dropbacks per game trying to hide him. Burks' ceiling is constrained by quarterback play; if he were on the Bengals instead of the Panthers, he'd rank higher in the tier or even move up a tier entirely.
