From the episode
I did move Pierce down a little bit on the pup news, especially since there's a chance he could miss half of training camp...It's just too much. His ADP on fantasy pros is right around 80th overall...he's still somebody that I'm looking at round seven, round eight. I think he's Alec Pierce is flirting with my do not draft list.
STACKED’s take
Positive signalInjury
Pierce's ankle recovery and role uncertainty make round 7-8 risky.
Dave Richard moved Pierce down on his board due to PUP list status after ankle surgery in March; he may not return until late in camp or after preseason starts. Richard cites too many conditional factors: if Pierce can take on a different role, if he sees higher target volume, if he commands more targets than Tyler Warren and Josh Downs, and if he can practice for 3+ weeks before the season. His ADP is around 80th overall (WR 34), and Richard thinks he's flirting with the do-not-draft list despite the opportunity upside.
