Video: 12 Fantasy Football Breakout Players with Ray Garvin
it feels like a player that could shift win rates coming out of the second round... In. In. I don't understand what people are concerned about... this is still the most talented running back in that backfield... And when we look at Mike McDaniel, like this guy has been so good for producing running back like scoring... I could see a 15-plus touchdown season from Omarian Hampton.

Second-round breakout with 15-plus TD ceiling under Mike McDaniel

Ray Garvin is "in" on Hampton as a massive breakout candidate coming out of the second round who could shift win rates. Hampton is the most talented running back in the Chargers backfield despite Keaton Mitchell competition; he was a first-round pick out of UNC with tons of ACC production and receiving ability. Under Mike McDaniel, who has excelled at producing running back scoring, Hampton could replicate a Raheem Mostert-type season with 20-plus touchdowns. The Chargers addressed their offensive line needs and hired McDaniel as play caller, making life easier for Justin Herbert and the 6'2, 220-lb second-year back. Garvin projects a 15-plus touchdown season and describes the backfield construction—with Kamani Vidal as the pass-pro specialist and Hampton as the bell-cow rusher who can also receive—as "a match made in heaven."
