I'm still a seller rather than a buyer though... Kyren sort of defied odds as being a sub 200 pound guy who's taking on Derrick Henry like volume for multiple seasons in a row... the volume eventually catches up with these guys... We saw Kyren's usage decline throughout the back half of last season and we've heard nothing but positive buzz about Corum and you know, possibly a 50/50 time share or 1A 1B situation and that that scares me off from Kyren Williams at his price tag.
STACKED’s take
Sell Williams; Corum emergence and declining usage threaten volume.
The source is a seller on Kyren Williams in dynasty despite his consistent production (RB6, RB7, RB9 over three consecutive seasons). Williams' ADP and trade value have dropped slightly, but the source remains skeptical at current prices due to Blake Corum's emergence and declining usage for Williams in the second half of last season. The source anticipates a potential 1A/1B or 50/50 time-share situation with Corum, which threatens Williams' volume. While Williams has defied odds as a sub-200-pound back handling Derrick Henry-like volume for multiple seasons, the source expects volume to eventually catch up and fade him at his current price tag. Usage declined throughout the back half of last season; Blake Corum and Jarquez Hunter additions signal Rams are building depth in the backfield.
