this is a round one caliber pick for me. Uh, we got him in round two in FFPC. Mid mid to late round two.
STACKED’s take
Elite efficiency and high target volume make Achane a top-tier value in round two.
Scott Barrett and Theo Gringer view Devon Achane as a round-one caliber talent currently undervalued in the mid-to-late second round. Achane has finished as a top-six fantasy RB in PPG every year of his career and holds the best career YPC average since the 1950s. JJ Zachariason projects him for 70 receptions, and Gringer ranks him 16th overall, well ahead of his 25+ ADP. While some worry about Malik Willis's historical tendency to target RBs less frequently, the lack of other receiving options on the Miami roster makes a 100-plus target workload highly probable. Additionally, his explosive potential is compared to Tyreek Hill, and Brett Whitefield projects a season similar to Christian McCaffrey's vintage sophomore year.
