Ron Stewart on DK Metcalf

Like the uh the 2019 class comes to mind, right? That's like a AJ Brown, DK Metaf, Debo Samuel. Let's take Metaf. I'm not even crazy about Metaf, but we need some some wide receiver help.

STACKED’s take

NeutralValue

Selected for positional depth; compared to strong 2019 WR class despite modest conviction.

Ron Stewart selected Metcalf in draft despite lukewarm conviction ('I'm not even crazy about Metcalf') to address wide receiver need. Stewart compares Metcalf to the strong 2019 rookie class (AJ Brown, Debo Samuel) as a historical precedent for receiver production, suggesting Metcalf is a reasonable value pick for positional depth.
