A.J. Brown

PositiveValue39:19

Ron Stewart mentions that pairing Jamar Chase with AJ Brown would be a dream scenario, indicating strong upside potential if both fall to him in a draft.

Insight page

Alvin Kamara

NegativeProjection20:30

The source mentions Alvin Kamara in the context of scoring three touchdowns not being enough to skyrocket his draft ranking, suggesting caution about overreacting to single-game performance.

Insight page

Breece Hall

PositiveValue25:25

Recommended as a round three running back option that provides solid value; the source emphasizes flexibility in draft strategy, noting that waiting for Hall or Jeremiah Love in round three is preferable to forcing a running back selection at 1.07. The source suggests you don't have to force early running back picks when quality options remain available later.

Insight page

Brian Robinson

NegativeMatchup60:55

Ron Stewart selected Brian Robinson partly because he's on the opposite side of the Saints matchup in week 17, providing schedule flexibility in the draft construction.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

PositiveRole20:43

Ron Stewart assesses Brian Thomas Jr.'s X role as viable, defending against misuse of the sacrificial designation and noting he can thrive as a downfield receiver similar to Sammy Watkins and Brandon Cooks. While finishing as WR7 in PPG is unlikely, Stewart projects him to finish around WR15 in PPG with spike weeks comparable to a discounted Jameson Williams. However, Thomas has a boom-bust profile because he must win vertically down the field, contrasting with Parker Washington's more fantasy-friendly role; while Thomas may be equally talented as a receiver, his usage pattern is less consistent for fantasy purposes.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveValue3:52

Ron Stewart notes someone told him he doesn't draft Brock Bowers enough, indicating the tight end is underutilized in his draft strategy relative to his perceived value. Stewart uses Bowers as an example of a high-value tight end target in zero RB strategy; if Bowers falls back to Stewart in the early third round after drafting a wide receiver early, Stewart would take him and then trust landing the plane with wide receiver-tight end-wide receiver construction. Stewart envisions Bowers playing as a legitimate slot receiver alongside Michael Mayer as an inline tight end, suggesting a dual-tight-end offensive scheme that could maximize Bowers' receiving upside.

Insight page

Bryce Young

NegativeInjury50:25

The source identifies Bryce Young's injury as a significant issue affecting Carolina's offense, noting it as a major concern for the team's fantasy outlook.

Insight page

Caleb Douglas

PositiveValue30:00

Ron Stewart selected Caleb Douglas as an early draft pick, acknowledging the selection is earlier than typical but noting Douglas was the first player that came to mind for the spot, suggesting strong conviction despite the early timing.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

NegativeValue40:00

Ron Stewart notes that if CeeDee Lamb comes back to him after drafting Jamar Chase at pick 110, he would think about taking him over a running back, indicating strong value perception at that point in the draft. In half-PPR running-back-hungry leagues, potential RB1s can be pushed over Lamb; in full-PPR two-flex leagues, Lamb is in the same tier as Justin Jefferson and should be prioritized over RB1 upside plays.

Insight page

Chase Brown

PositiveValue3:38

Ron Stewart firmly rejects downgrading Chase Brown, signaling confidence in his draft value. Stewart recently moved Chase Brown up approximately four spots in running back rankings following recent video analysis, viewing this reordering as directionally solid when thinking through ceiling potential. Stewart has moved Chase Brown ahead of Kenneth Walker in their rankings, indicating a preference shift between the two running backs. Brown is positioned as a viable alternative to James Cook in the draft and is mentioned as one of the running back options that could come back in the second round after drafting Jamar Chase at pick 110.

Insight page

Chris Rodriguez

NegativeValue52:52

Ron Stewart selected Chris Rodriguez in the draft as a speculative late-round pick, noting the decision to take Myers and see if they can push Rodriguez, indicating a handcuff or backup strategy with upside potential.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

PositiveValue41:31

Ron Stewart expresses enthusiasm for DeAndre Swift as a draft target and selected him in his draft as part of a week 17 matchup loading strategy against the Washington-Jaguars game.

Insight page
PositiveValue41:31

Swift profiles as a dead-zone winner with elite historical consistency; he has never finished outside the top 24 running backs in points per game. He was a round-two prospect in his draft class alongside Jonathan Taylor, Cam Akers, and JK Dobbins, and was taken ahead of Taylor in the early second round. Swift was an explosive receiving back comparable to Jamir Gibbs before Gibbs emerged. Source will make an exception for Swift if weak at running back, especially at prices around the Christian Watson range or lower, given his receiving upside and attachment to Bears offensive coordinator Ben Johnson.

Insight page

Daniel Jones

NegativeValue23:10

Ron Stewart reaches slightly on Daniel Jones as their quarterback two, indicating willingness to draft him earlier than typical ADP to secure a second QB option.

Insight page

Davante Adams

NegativeValue18:59

Adams was mentioned in the context of a tier ranking alongside Loveland, Waddle, and Burton, with Flowers ranked a small tier ahead.

Insight page

David Montgomery

PositiveValue43:07

Ron Stewart ranks David Montgomery in his top tier of running back options, stating he would have DeAndre Swift, Montgomery, and one other back in that exact order, indicating Montgomery is a preferred target in the mid-tier RB range.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

PositiveProjection59:56

Ron Stewart highlights that Samuel posted 1.6+ yards per route run last year as a veteran receiver on a team that lost their quarterback and now has Jaden Daniels, positioning him in a great spot for upside.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

PositiveValue16:07

Ron Stewart reverses prior negative stance on Henry, noting he has dropped from late first-round ADP last year to late second-round ADP on major platforms (ESPN, Sleeper); Stewart explicitly recommends 'finally consider drafting Derrick Henry,' indicating Henry now represents value at his current ADP after significant price correction.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

PositiveValue55:40

Ron Stewart ranks DeVonta Smith ahead of T. Higgins and TPR, indicating strong confidence in his value relative to those receivers. Smith was also mentioned in tier rankings alongside Loveland, Waddle, and Burton, with Flowers ranked a small tier ahead.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

NegativeValue13:13

Ron Stewart selected Metcalf in draft despite lukewarm conviction ('I'm not even crazy about Metcalf') to address wide receiver need. Stewart compares Metcalf to the strong 2019 rookie class (AJ Brown, Debo Samuel) as a historical precedent for receiver production, suggesting Metcalf is a reasonable value pick for positional depth.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveValue38:02

Ron Stewart expresses strong conviction in Drake London's value, stating there is no world where he would take Javante over Drake London. Stewart notes he ends up with many Drake London and Jamar Chase combinations in drafts, suggesting London is a consistent target at his draft position. Stewart selected Drake London in the second round of his draft, indicating confidence in his value in this draft construction.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveValue27:35

Highlighted as the standout wide receiver pick in the draft range; the source notes that outside of Wilson, the wide receiver options become significantly more difficult and less appealing.

Insight page

Harold Fannin

PositiveValue55:08

The source selected Harold Fannon in the draft as part of the overall team construction.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

PositiveValue39:19

Ron Stewart uses Jamar Chase as the anchor for zero RB strategy, noting that starting Chase in the first round and then pivoting to Brock Bowers in the third creates an ideal scenario. Stewart repeatedly ends up with Jamar Chase and Drake London combinations in drafts, and notes that if Chase is available at pick 110, he would draft him and then focus on running back value in subsequent rounds. Stewart also selected Chase with the fourth overall pick in a draft, indicating strong confidence in his value at that position. Stewart mentions that pairing Chase with AJ Brown would be a dream scenario.

Insight page

Jalin Hyatt

PositiveValue14:01

Ron Stewart recommends middle of the second round (around pick 206) as the target window for Hyatt, framed as the 'Drake London tier' for draft timing. Stewart suggests this is appropriate timing for a Giants fan drafting in leagues with other Giants fans, implying Hyatt has positional value at that ADP.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveProjection0:12

Ron Stewart moved James Cook up in rankings after conducting additional research, indicating increased conviction in the running back. Stewart uses Cook's last season (18+ PPG) as a benchmark for round three running back expectations, noting that 18+ PPG is solid but not legendary for mid-round RB selections. When Jonathan Taylor and Christian McCaffrey are unavailable at 1.07, Stewart prefers Jalen Simmons and suggests waiting for round three backs like Breece Hall or Jeremiah Love instead of forcing Cook at that pick.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

PositiveValue42:47

Ron Stewart prefers Jameson Williams over a running back at this draft juncture, choosing him despite being open to the RB option. Williams and another receiver (likely Adams) are ranked back-to-back in Stewart's rankings, indicating they are similarly valued and represent a close decision point in draft strategy.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

NegativeBust21:15

Source is avoiding Javante Williams due to poor yards per carry last season; research shows that terrible yards-per-run efficiency in the prior season predicts failure as a league winner. Williams has only one good season post-injury and is now priced too high. Additionally, Jalen Blue is a legitimate backfield threat. Source prefers not to shoot for floor at running back in Williams's draft range when league-winning receivers are available.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

NegativeValue50:25

Ron Stewart pairs Jaden Daniels with Stefon Diggs as a league-winning receiver pairing strategy, suggesting strong value in the context of this draft construction. However, Stewart also questions whether Daniels is sufficient at the quarterback position, noting the pick is right on the borderline in terms of draft value and timing.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

NegativeValue14:12

Ron Stewart explicitly rejects Waddle as a keeper at fifth-round cost, stating 'Waddle's not even really a value in the fifth' and preferring Kyle Manungai at a 13th-round cost instead. Stewart later softens this to 'slight value' in a 14-team league context, indicating Waddle is overpriced relative to his draft capital.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

NegativeValue18:02

Warren was presented as a keeper option in round eight in a 12-team, two-flex PPR league, competing against Hampton (round three), Pickens (round five), Burton (round 11), and Teo (round 13); no explicit recommendation was made.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

NegativeBreakout0:28

Ron Stewart notes Jeremiah Love is 'looking awesome' in preseason games, suggesting positive emergence trajectory. However, Chase Pantis' injury absence is described as 'a really, really tough blow for Jeremiah Love,' indicating significant role/opportunity impact from the loss of a key teammate or blocker. Stewart recommends Love as a round three running back option providing solid value, emphasizing flexibility in draft strategy—waiting for Love or Breece Hall in round three is preferable to forcing a running back selection at 1.07. Stewart indicates Love is a consistent third-round target in their zero RB strategy, noting 'Chase London Jeremiah Love automatic.' Love has a mild ankle sprain with no concerns from Jesse Morris, indicating the injury is not a significant fantasy concern.

Insight page

Joe Mixon

PositiveValue44:01

Ron Stewart cites Joe Mixon as one of the biggest winners from the running back dead zone in 2024, indicating that veteran running backs who escape the dead zone can provide significant value and outperform expectations.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

PositiveValue27:13

Ranked as RB4 in the source's draft strategy; positioned as a viable running back option in the draft sequence.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

NegativeValue14:43

Ron Stewart notes Jonathan Brooks has moved to seventh-round ADP in the draft shown and indicates this is appropriate timing; Brooks has been 'steamed big' (rising in ADP), suggesting market is catching up to his value. Stewart later recommends round six as 'too early' and round seven as ideal target round for Panthers fans, indicating seventh-round ADP aligns with Stewart's valuation. However, Stewart identifies Carolina's offensive line injuries as the biggest issue affecting Brooks' fantasy value; while the team will run the ball frequently under Canales, the O-line has deteriorated significantly from a top-10 unit due to injuries to Rasheed Walker, Monroe Freeling, and other key players, making Brooks' workload less reliable despite lead-back potential. Stewart also expresses concern about how much volume Brooks can handle, indicating uncertainty about his workload sustainability despite his ADP positioning. Brooks' ADP varies significantly by format: in home leagues using default rankings he settles around pick 80 and can be pulled in the seventh round, a good value spot; in high-stakes leagues he reaches the Judkins area; on Underdog he lands near his current market price.

Insight page

Josh Allen

NegativeRole7:00

Host selects Josh Allen as part of a balanced team construction strategy, pairing him with James Cook (Bills stack) and T. Higgins to create a diverse but interconnected roster. Allen was included in the source's drafted team composition as part of a balanced, hero RB build.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveValue14:43

Ron Stewart selected Josh Downs in draft as a positional pick; Stewart's inclusion indicates Downs is a preferred selection at this draft juncture, suggesting he represents reasonable value at his ADP.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

NegativeValue40:00

Ron Stewart notes that if Justin Jefferson comes back to him after drafting Jamar Chase at pick 110, he would think about taking him over a running back, indicating strong value perception at that point in the draft. In half-PPR running-back-hungry leagues, potential RB1s can be pushed over Jefferson; in full-PPR two-flex leagues, Jefferson is in the same tier as CeeDee Lamb and should be prioritized over RB1 upside plays.

Insight page

Kendrick Bourne

PositiveMatchup35:32

Source selects Kendrick Bourne as a bring-back for the Week 17 Vegas-Cardinals matchup, completing a stack with Mendoza, Bowers, and Mike Washington for playoff leverage.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveValue7:07

Ron Stewart prefers Kenneth Walker over Brock Bowers in a 10-man PPR league flex spot, indicating higher ranking/value assessment for Walker in that scoring format and roster construction. Stewart maintains a high ranking for Kenneth Walker despite underwhelming performance in recent video analysis, referencing Walker's historical pedigree as a first-round pick to justify continued confidence. However, Stewart has moved Chase Brown ahead of Kenneth Walker in recent rankings, indicating Kenneth Walker has dropped in preference relative to Chase Brown.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

NegativeValue60:15

Ron Stewart argues that in 12-team PPR superflex, Lamar Jackson is not worth a late first-round pick. He contends that quarterbacks should be valued almost equally with running backs and receivers but currently are not, making late-first pricing insufficient for elite QB production.

Insight page

Malik Benson

NegativeSleeper35:48

Source identifies Malik Benson as a rookie prospect to monitor; a kid out of Oregon who was a standout in junior college before struggling in college, but has been standing out in training camp. Source is not drafting him yet but flags him as fun to watch.

Insight page

Mason Taylor

NegativeValue27:30

Tight end mentioned in draft consideration; the source expresses uncertainty about the pick, noting it was a debatable choice alongside Aaron Rodgers in the draft sequence.

Insight page

Mike Washington Jr.

PositiveValue14:49

Source drafts Mike Washington after a strong game performance, expecting his ADP to rise. He is clearly the RB2 on his team, not an RB3 like Nick Singleton or Kron Allen, making him a more attractive target than other backup running backs being drafted at similar cost.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveValue15:09

Ron Stewart notes Parker Washington at ADP 5.12 (fifth round, 12th pick) is one of 'the two guys getting steamed big,' indicating significant ADP rise and market attention. Stewart explicitly states he has Parker Washington ranked over Rome (likely Rome Odunze), indicating a preference for Washington's draft value relative to the consensus. Stewart also notes that Parker Washington's role is significantly more fantasy-friendly than Brian Thomas's; he will be moved around the formation and receive easy, high-percentage targets (layup stuff), making him more consistent for fantasy purposes despite potentially being less talented than Thomas.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

NegativeInjury5:24

Ron Stewart is undecided on Puka Nacua's draft value due to a turf toe injury concern; describes it as 'not a huge deal' but wants more concrete information on his status before committing to a stance. Stewart opted for T. Higgins instead of Nacua in this draft spot due to the uncertainty. In zero RB draft strategy from the three or four spot, selecting Nacua early could lock the drafter out of better tight end options like Hampton, requiring a pivot to double-tap wide receiver or tight end in subsequent rounds.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeValue23:31

The source ranks Gentry ahead of both Barkley and Brown; Barkley's ranking has not been adjusted upward despite recent video performance, whereas Chase Brown moved up approximately four spots in the running back tier. The source moved Gentry down about four spots but still maintains him ahead of Barkley.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

PositiveValue17:28

Ron Stewart pairs Diggs with McCaffrey and Jaden Daniels as a league-winning receiver pairing strategy in a three-player stack, suggesting strong value in the context of this draft construction; Stewart also debated Diggs as a late-round pick option but ultimately preferred Bill Crosby in that tier.

Insight page
NegativeValue18:59

Diggs was debated as a late-round pick option in the keeper discussion but was not selected. The source pairs Diggs with McCaffrey and Jaden Daniels as a league-winning receiver pairing strategy, suggesting strong value in the context of this draft construction. The source is stacking Stefon Diggs with Jalen Daniels and DeVonta McLaurin as a three-player stack, suggesting a strategic pairing for upside in the same offense.

Insight page

T.J. Hockenson

NegativeValue30:45

Ron Stewart notes the algorithm wants TJ Hockenson as the highest ADP player available, but he expresses hesitation about taking a third tight end with Brock Bowers available, preferring a running back instead.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

NegativeRole19:21

Higgins was included in the source's drafted team composition as part of a balanced, hero RB build.

Insight page

Teo Redding

PositiveValue18:11

Ron Stewart leaned toward keeping Teo in round 13 over Burton in round 11; Teo and Burton were ranked back-to-back in Stewart's rankings, with Teo offering locked-in value at a later round.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

NegativeValue43:51

Ron Stewart is not worried about Terry McLaurin's ankle injury and indicates confidence in taking him in round five, suggesting he views the health concern as overblown and the draft positioning as reasonable value. Stewart later selected McLaurin in an actual draft as part of a week 17 matchup-stacking strategy pairing him with Jaden Daniels against the Washington-Jaguars game.

Insight page

Tony Pollard

PositiveValue55:08

The source selected Tony Pollard in the draft as part of the overall team construction.

Insight page

Travis Hunter

PositiveProjection15:48

Ron Stewart projects Travis Hunter's ceiling as 'the best wide receiver on his team,' with the limiting factor being route running development. This suggests Hunter has significant upside if he can improve route running, positioning him as a high-ceiling prospect with role-dependent upside.

Insight page

TreVeyon Henderson

NegativeRole19:21

Henderson was included in the source's drafted team composition as part of a balanced, hero RB build.

Insight page

Trey McBride

PositiveValue29:14

Ron Stewart suggests McBride as a tight end option in zero RB draft strategy, noting he could be selected after wide receiver picks, though Stewart still prefers running backs like Jeremiah Love or Breece Hall in early round three. Stewart considered drafting McBride as an experiment to test zero RB strategy but ultimately decided against it, indicating McBride was being considered as a tight end anchor for that approach.

3:14have a lot of fun doing. They of course take a little bit more time to do and a little bit more uh intensive on my end
3:20than uh a normal like here's my five breakout candidates, but they're very fun and it's also, you know, we've been doing that video for a long time now. I
3:27think that that was probably the one that was like the most statistically sound. Before that, it was just like a checklist that was kind of
3:35based on vibes, but here we are.
3:40I saw Mendoza's been looking good.

5:24that good stuff. Um, all right. Let's take let's take a here. Are we squeamish about Ibuka?
5:32I'm still undecided on where I feel about Ibuka. Um, I'm gonna take T for now. I'm going to
5:40take T for now. I'm undecided on Puka or uh on Ibuka. I want some more um I want I want something more concrete about his
5:49status right now to be real with you guys. Seems like it's like a it's like a not a huge deal toe injury, but
5:56video is incredible. Thank you, man.
5:58Jeremiah Love looked awesome.
6:00Downgrade Chase Brown. Never that. P Risim reason for JSN over Aman Ross Brown. I think that he just might be a
6:07better player. I know that that's like very simple. Um, but I don't want to discount how crazy what JSN did last
6:12year. The fact that he had as good of a season as he did without like just 10 touchdowns. Um, sure the environment isn't as good, but
6:21I also think that there's floor there and just how talented of a receiver he is. But you're you're you know you're
6:26you're splitting hairs. I have them back to back in the same tier.
6:34Yeah. Turf toe. I'm not I'm not crazy about it. And happy PPR where I can just get T. Higgins touchdowns. I'm cool with
6:39it. Wow. Stafford in the second round.
6:42What the hell? Oh, don't get this thrown out, bro. I don't think he's going. He definitely got uh this is the star
6:47method. He definitely took Puka starred all the Rams or starred Stafford as a stacking option later.
6:57You know what? Let's do Let's do Josh Allen. We'll do Josh Allen to James Cook and then we'll just have like a very
7:01balanced I don't know. This is a weird setup, but why not? James Cook, Bowers, T. Higgins, Josh Allen.
7:08Uh Bowers or Kenneth Walker in a 10-man PPR, one flex. For me, it would be Kenneth Walker. Yep. Your league mates
7:15drafts uh August 25th.
7:22You don't get enough Ibuka. You're right. You're right. Maybe I should have just taken I Bua there.
7:27Tyson injur I moved him to the bottom of his tier today.
7:31Do I get nervous before I draft?
7:34Maybe a little bit. No.
7:37The only the only drafts that make me feel anything in terms of like getting nervous is probably uh maybe not even
7:44nervous, but just like like these, you know, I do hundreds of these. So, like this is this is this is background music
7:50as I'm just talking to you guys. Um, I would say most nervous is main event when I'm drafting for like $2,000 in front of you
8:01guys and I need to interact, make it entertaining, but then also not burn $2,000 uh in front of a live audience. And then
8:09small tier break to your league mates in my home league just because your league mates is broadcasted to all of you guys.
8:14And then my home league uh is my home league with all my high school buddies where I like to beat them if I can.
8:20But then everything else like the 350s and stuff not as crazy.
8:33That's what I'm saying. I don't think it will get thrown out. Especially because if he wanted to get it thrown out, he
8:37could have thrown a temper tantrum and just started picking like, you know, like Cyrus Allen here in the third round.
8:46Who the hell does Curtis work play for?
8:47Brock March Madness bracket.
8:54I don't know if fantasy allowed to take quarterback and tight end in the first four rounds. I'm much more open to it in
8:58a best ball format. Best basketball player in your league? Probably me, bro.
9:03Probably me.
9:05I don't think any of those guys want to see me in the low post.
9:11I don't think any of them want to see me there.
9:16Trying to think. I I assume the nerd sesh. I assume maybe Carson's decent. I think I think Jack Settleman's probably decent.
9:24I'm not really scared of any of the BDG guys. I think they're all just more athletes than anything else.
9:32Damn, I wanted J Mo.
9:42Let's take Henderson.
9:45Take Henderson and see what comes back.
9:48I think I'm going to like the running the wide receivers a lot better than the running backs at this pick 64.
9:56Is this weekend too early to draft? H I don't think so. It's honest to God, fellas.
10:01I see a lot of talk about this of like, oh, don't draft until the pre- the preseason, whatever. I would say first
10:07and foremost when it comes to fantasy football, like the whole point of it and like kind of how I've I've uh rationalize it to
10:15myself is this not being super dumb in general is that really the overarching theme of fantasy football is is it is
10:21the glue that keeps a lot of friendships and friend groups together.
10:25So, I truly say whenever you and 11 of your homies, family members, people you care about can block out time to draft
10:37is the best time to draft. It's a very corny thing, but that's what I would say.
10:44Damn, Price coming back to us sucks, but we'll go Brian Thomas here.
10:51We'll just we'll just keep it really we'll just keep it super balanced here.
11:02Yeah, we'll see how this goes. Hey Ron, does today's video apply to any runbacks outside the top two rounds? No, I'll
11:06probably do a similar video on the RB dead zone like uh maybe next week or the week after. Something like that. I
11:12recorded my home league draft. I don't think so. How long has it been since you won your home league? Not since 2019,
11:16man. Not since 2019. Made the semis last year.
11:21It's tough. That's what we talked about today, bro. Um, one in one in 12 people win really. The the stone cold stat of of
11:36I don't know. I'd have to think more about like the probability. I think so.
11:40I I think if if you have a one in 12 chance to win your league, then you like statistically would be
11:46likely to win your league once every 12 years. You know what I mean? So, if I won in 2019, I'm not technically due
11:54until 2031.
12:08Uh, you've been a silver tier member since 2023. Uh, you get the draft guide for half off. Everyone on the Patreon
12:13right now gets the draft guide for half off.
12:17Uh, I am 63. We got Brandon Kovar in here. What's going on? Kovar knows I could hoop a little bit. That's what I'm
12:23saying. No, G I mean I'm telling you they're athletes, but should have been part of the flag football game. I should have
12:35Price over Henderson. I think it's a tossup for me.
12:47My home league is lowkey too easy. We'll see. It's gonna be funny when Ryan doesn't make the playoffs this year.
12:52That's not how stats work, right? My bad.
12:57I think so. I think you'd be roughly expected to win your league once every 12 years. That'd be like the baseline
13:02expectation.
13:07Won your league for the first time last year. Hell yeah, dude. Think this rookie class going better than expected?
13:11Honestly, yeah. I think that's how a lot of rookie classes end up. There's been pl plenty of rookie classes in my day
13:17that like weren't super hyped and they end up going crazy.
13:22Like the uh the 2019 class comes to mind, right? That's like a AJ Brown, DK Metaf, Debo Samuel.
13:33Let's take Metaf. I'm not even crazy about Metaf, but we need some some wide receiver help.
13:41How early is too early for neighbors from a Giants fan who will be drafting in leagues with Giants fans?
13:51I think once Drake London is gone.
13:55I guess you can take him in this Drake London tier. I I would say I would say middle of the second. I would say like
14:00206 middle of the second you can take neighbors super chat earlier. Oh, no. I already
14:10answered that.
14:12You said, "Should I keep Wadd and lose a fifth round pick or Kyle Manungai and lose a 13th round pick?
14:19I think I prefer the Manungai one." Like Waddle's not even really a value in the fifth. It is like a slight value.
14:23Manungai, that's just like a free ah it's a 14 teamer then. You know what?
14:28Actually, give me give me Waddle in the fifth and a 14 teamer.
14:37Let me get this pick in. What do we got?
14:43Give me Josh Downs. Where did Did Jonathan Brooks go with the turn? Yeah, Jonathan Brooks, seventh round pick now.
14:49What do we got? Uh Parker Washington 512. Those are the two guys getting steamed big.
14:56There's a third one I can't think of that I had onto my tongue.
15:02Do I enjoy inseason finishable more or preseason? Definitely preseason. The research and all that's the most fun to me. Um, in terms of like making videos
15:09and stuff, I would say my uh I don't know if I would say least favorite, but it's not as fun doing the,
15:20you know, week nine. Here's the same, you know, waiverwire targets we've been talking about for the last three weeks is what I would say.
15:41So, what what the what team is Curtis work on, Brock? I missed that. What do you think is Travis Hunter Ceiling? Wow.
15:48Travis Hunter Ceiling is the best wide receiver on his team. Just a matter of him running routes.
15:59Would you do third round reversal on a 14 teamer?
16:04I guess so. Oh, 49ers. You're right.
16:07Finally consider drafting Derrick Henry.
16:10Thank you, man. Derek, dude, I'm telling you, I I know I've been I've been out on Derrick Henry in the past, but uh what
16:16he was like a f He was like a late first last year. Now, dude, even like the boomer sites like ESPN and Sleeper and
16:21stuff happen as like a late late second.
16:24Yeah, 804 downs is pretty sweet. How early is too early for Brooks or a Panthers fan?
16:31Too early for me is like round six. I was saying in a perfect world I got him in round seven.
16:36Actually, I'm going to take a No, I'm going to update his target round. I think I'll update his target round.
16:53But we've been pretty good at staying way ahead of market on Brooks.
17:02All right, now we're back.
17:08We have tight end. We have wide receivers to our flex. We got two running backs up top. Somebody say I don't like this team. I I don't see what
17:14the issue with this team is.
17:18Just keeping it balanced.
17:20You have any quarterbacks set up for stacks yet? No, not really.
17:28You could talk me into diggs or worthy here, but I think I would prefer No, we're actually need to catch up at
17:36wide receiver here a bit.
17:43Actually, no, we don't. Give me Give me Bill. Give me Bill.
17:53Brooks went 503 in a main event Theo did today. Good lord, man.
17:58Yeah, I assume he's going to be similar to Ibuka in some of these high stakes where I'm just not going to end up with
18:02Brooks. Uh, super chat here. 12 team, two flex. Who should I keep? Hampton round three, Pickkins round five, Warren round eight,
18:11Burton round 11 or two in round 13. Wow, that's really tough.
18:21Wow.
18:23I'd be tempted by Bird in round 11 or two in round 13. I think I lean two in round 13 and just have that locked in. But it's
18:32between him and Burden.
18:34Two flex full PPR.
18:41I go Burden. I mean, it's just Burden for free. I have them pretty much ranked back to back, but I could see taking a
18:47running back there not being super fun.
18:49It could like kind of block you out of some options. Oh, we'll go dig. We debated digs at the last pick.
18:59Lovelin versus Burden. Flowers tier. I I have that flowers loveland waddle burden. I have flowers like a small tier ahead.
19:09Yeah, 104 has started. Puka Stafford.
19:11Oh, he took Why would you take Drake May and Herz after going Stafford there?
19:16If anyone's just now tuning in, we started we we started this is a an out of character draft for me, but just kind
19:21of a fun balanced build of James Cook, Brock Bowers, T. Higgins, Josh Allen, Trevon Henderson, Brian Thomas, DK Metap, Josh DS, Bill Crosky, Meritt,
19:29Stefan Diggs, like a hero RB build here.
19:32Uh, pretty fun, but we're weak at receiver. This might be like a 2592 or something like that.
19:40Philippian reporters are saying, "Yeah, Eli Stores has been, you know, we're not going to get the uh we're we're not going to get the uh Harold Fannon late
19:48round rookie tight end thing this year."
19:52Uh I did see Jinxy joining the Flockley.
19:54That's a huge deal. It's very interesting.
20:00Uh I don't weigh how much do I weigh preseason performances? Not much.
20:04I'm more into the usage.
20:07I I I guess like not way I I like like I uh did tweet not even victory lapping but just like getting excited about
20:16Jeremiah 11 stuff. It's good to see players do well is what I would say but I'm not going to I I I guess rookies
20:21like dribbling. I'll definitely nudge dribbling up tomorrow morning, but you know, I don't know if Alvin Kamar, not that Alvin Kamar is playing or anything, but
20:30like if Alvin Kamar came out and scored three touchdowns, not like, you know, skyrocketing him up.
20:43The news on Brian Thomas Jr.'s role, uh, I thought it was fine as well. Uh, people, uh, I love Matt Harmon. has even
20:49commented on this that people kind of like misuse his sacrificial X thing.
20:54Sacrificial X is for guys like Z Jones.
20:57Like Brian Thomas can thrive in the X role and be good as this downfield receiver. Uh I think Sammy Watkins and
21:02Brandon Cooks were great comps. Now, that means like, you know, him finishing as like the wide receiver seven in points per game is probably
21:11unlikely, but I think he could finish like the wide receiver 15 in points per game and give you some big spike weeks
21:15kind of similar to like a Jameson Williams discounted.
21:20No, I I have Parker Washington over um over Rome myself.
21:29Let's see.
21:41Let's do the Shakir thing. We'll do the Shakir thing.
21:45Definitely need to start thinking about quarterback and tight end. I don't think we really have any stack setup. I don't want to do Malik Willis on this team.
21:53What's our pick after this? 153.
21:57Okay, I got 153. We could see if Jones falls back to us or I could just take Daniel Jones now.
22:13We'll see the round three RBs in the model for uh like I said, I'm going do something similar for the dead zone or
22:17like the middle round RBs. like I'll do rounds three through six running backs next week with a very similar video cuz the issue is it's just like there
22:28hasn't been like a quote unquote legendary RB from round three. I mean you can get so so we're like kind of
22:34aiming for something different. We're aiming for more of what James Cook was last year of like 18 plus points, which is still good, but it's a little bit of
22:40a different uh it's not quite applicable.
22:54Oh, the thing wants Higgins.
23:01I wouldn't mind Higgins.
23:07No, let's take Daniel Jones. He took Higgins.
23:10No tight ends really stick out. Yeah, let's let's reach little on Daniel Jones. I think that we just called that a day at our quarterback two spot with
23:17Jones.
23:23I got to watch the scribbling cut up later video tomorrow about think we might do a little double hero RB. Little
23:30double her RB. I think it flows well with legendary running backs.
23:40You're getting Jamar Chase rookie season vibes from Penalty. Ah, I don't know. I would love it, but I don't know.
23:47No, but like Breeze doesn't have to clear legendary to be a hit in round three, four, five, six. It's like there's a different bar to clear there.
23:55You're hoping more for like 16 plus points per game.
24:04But it's also worth mentioning like two of the the biggest smash picks in that range have been wide receivers. That's why
24:11it just gets a little trickier. Just gets a little trickier. Wide receivers are probably a better pick there, but the vid was great, but is Brown or
24:23Barkley a definitively better pick than Genty? Uh, no. I still have Genty ranked ahead of them. I just moved him down
24:28like maybe like four or so spots um and moved up like Chase Brown.
24:37It just kind of helped me reorder the running backs there when we think through the ceiling. But like I said, it's not a perfect science. It's not
24:43definitive. You know, one of the guys who don't pop in that like research could certainly score well, but uh I
24:51think it's directionally solid.
24:57Yeah, everyone's recommending it. A lot of double hero RBs. That's That's why the the three and four spot so tough.
25:02The that that second round RB tier completely dries up.
25:07Double anchor RB the play the 107 this year.
25:13Um I think it's I think it's it just depends on who comes to you. I I do always stress like above all just stay
25:24flexible. You know the 107 if JT and McAffrey go and you're staring down JSN versus like James Cook there. I'm still
25:30going JSN and seeing what running backs come back. And then you can also always get Bree or Jeremiah Love in round three
25:36instead. Like you don't got to force it is would be my uh would be my take.
25:42Let's do any of the tight ends make sense.
25:46I'm done for an unstacked Jawan.
25:50And that honestly frees us up that I don't think we need to have three quarterbacks or three tight ends. You could maybe talk me into a third
25:55quarterback, like a super cheap one.
26:09Got Chris Diaz in here.
26:22Uh yes, but I also gave the the raw ceiling projections anyways. So uh and the price really only mattered for like
26:29the backend second round guys is what I was saying.
26:41Saw a short earlier from one of the Flock League guys saying zero RB isn't going to be as appealing this year. Um,
26:48zero RB is tough, man. Zero RB is tough.
26:51I I I really wouldn't recommend it in a normal setting. Uh, in those like fun tournaments I do like the main event and
26:57stuff, they're a fun curveball to throw.
27:00Um, but I've just kind of learned over time like it's just nothing I'm recommending to anybody.
27:07It's just probably never in a home league setting the way to play.
27:13Let's go Jonah Coleman here. Little RB4.
27:26Hey, we got Hoodie Allen in here. What's going on, brother?
27:30Oh, I could have debated Aaron Rogers here. Mason Taylor, I don't know.
27:35I don't know. Outside of Garrett Wilson, things are getting tough. It's like AD Mitchell. AD Mitchell is actually fun in in these formats of baseball,
27:43but we're getting talk that like Isaiah Williams is better than Omar Cooper.
27:46Just brutal. Just brutal stuff for our first round pick. Not that I think that that's true, but it's just not a good
27:53sign. Like, if you draft a a wide receiver in the first round, he should at least be doing if he's healthy and on
27:58the field, he should be doing something.
28:02Am I playing any EPL baseball? Uh, sadly,
28:19no. Maybe I'll draft a few teams. Let me know, Chris. Let me know when it closes.
28:23The really the issue for me is it's just not the season for it. Like, the reason why I loved I went all in on the World
28:28Cup stuff is just like, you know, football wasn't here yet. But now that we're in August and I'm trying to chase
28:32BBMs and you know and I'm on the clock in 135 slows or whatever, like uh I just don't got time for it.
28:40Oh yeah, CH was a first was a onetwo turn pick once upon a time, man. It's why I like Kenneth Walker. Even though
28:46he didn't really score super well in today's video, I still got him I still got him pretty high.
28:56Uh I think so. So, I think I'll do a similar like league winning wide receiver video. It's actually like sort of through the lens of like trying
29:04to find this year's JSN, but then also just like the wide receiver overall, the wide receiver won overall in general.
29:13I like zero RB, but just not like I I I would never do zero RB in my home league. The only the only way that zero
29:21RB makes sense is from the three or four spot. We've been talking about this the last few nights. Like if you go Chase
29:26Puka here and you get locked out of like Hampton or better, you can double tap.
29:31You can, you know, you can go wide receiver then like a tight end or uh two wide receivers, whatever. Maybe take
29:37Trey McBride here. But I'll almost always still go Jeremiah Love or Breece Hall in this like early third anyway. So it's not like true zero RB. It'd be more
29:45like it' be more like a modified version.
29:49Again, I would only do it in like one of those 350 like tournament settings where shooting for upside. You also have like
29:5520 draft picks that you can just sort of throw at the position. It it it's truly it's only something to pivot to in like
30:02the 1% outcome that something happens or like last night we did one where like we started uh Why does it want TJ Hawinson
30:10here?
30:15We're going to take Ray. No, we're not.
30:26Oh boy. I don't know if that's going to count.
30:30Bang. Holy hell. We needed that. That's a really early Caleb Douglas, but he's the first guy that came to mind for me
30:35there.
30:41Should we just take TJ Hawinson? I don't know why it wants TJ. Hawinson.
30:45I guess it's just like the highest ADP player by a lot. I guess if he comes back, we'll take him. But I'm not crazy
30:50about a third tight end with Brock Bowers here. I'd prefer a running back.
30:58Actually, I know what we're going to do.
31:00Who's the last good Jets pick? You ever heard of Garrett Wilson, buddy? You ever heard of Elijah Moore?
31:06Bree Hall. All pretty awesome rookies.
31:09Uh, give me Mike Washington after a long run today. Why not?
31:23Yeah, give me Mike Washington after today. I I assume that he's going to jump up in price a little bit. Not that
31:27I mean he's just very simply Gent's uh handcuff, but I mean we've been drafting like Nick Singleton and Kron Allen who are like the RB3s on their
31:35team. Like Mike Washington to me is like just very very clearly the RB2.
31:42Watch any Joel Smith. Um, I think if I saw his I uh is he like a fantasy Tik Tok guy?
31:54Got Daniel Cook in here. What's going on?
32:04I agree with him in with him in a new spot as well. That's why I didn't I pretty much I just moved Chase Brown
32:08ahead of Kenneth Walker. That's it.
32:14That's the same thing. I I I mean less of this year's JSN and just more who's going to be the 20 plus point per game
32:19scorers at the position.
32:22Last time Zero RB was viable 2023.
32:27It's viable in any year. If you if you if you threaded the needle last year of like Travis ETN, Javvante Williams, Rico
32:34Dael, and then you started your draft with like Jamar Chase,
32:46JSN. Like, I don't know. You You can Anything can work if you just pick the right players.
32:56Let's go. We got Betts in here. Elijah Moore as a rookie was awesome, dude.
33:03Uh yeah, we'll do one more after this.
33:04We'll do one more. It's getting late, but we'll do one more.
33:14Let's hop in a second one in the meantime.
33:19We'll go extra late night tonight because I have a buddy's birthday tomorrow night. So, we're literally going to do a um
33:26we're going to do a like literally like a quick we'll do like one draft stream tomorrow and then that's it.
33:33I would say maybe we go live around lunch or whatever, but I'm trying to get that double hero RB video out. So, I
33:39think we'll just do a quick one.
33:45Oh, Matt Harmon's Matt Harmon's the boy.
33:47Matt Harmon's awesome.
33:52One, two, turn pick. We'll see what it comes out to.
34:05Yeah, 100%. I feel like I feel like it's lagging behind on Mike Washington. I've been drafting a good bit of him.
34:12Oh, we got the three spot. Hell yeah.
34:17Let's do uh I'm Bill over Rashad White.
34:21I honestly don't know what I'm going to do with this pick. We We're one pick away and I don't know what I want.
34:28Wow, it wants Mendoza.
34:31You know what, man? With Bowers, give me Mendoza. I know we already have Josh Allen, but like Dana Jones and Mendoza
34:37are like free. Uh, yeah. So, this is going to be a 3582 is what this will be.
34:42I I actually like this. This is what I do in every draft, but or this isn't what I would do in every draft, but
34:49let's get a wide receiver here. We definitely weak at receiver as you can see here, but happens to the best of us.
34:55Let's take like Miami, Cleveland, Vegas, Arizona. You know what, guys? I'm going to get I might get really or no, not
35:05even really weird here, but this is what we're going to do after seeing the week 17 or yeah, the week 17 matchup. Uh
35:11we'll go Jamar Chase here.
35:14The week 17 matchup of Raiders versus Cardinals is the preview we got to see today. So that means I'll be doing this.
35:22Shout out to Matt aka Gump over at uh work used to work at BDG, now works for ESPN. Cool guy. uh met him with the
35:32trivia tournament, but Kendrick Bourne is a bring back for this uh Vegas Cardinals week 17 matchup. Now that we have Mendoza, Bowowers, and Mike
35:39Washington.
35:42A thousand IQ. That's a thousand IQ play. I almost debated as well. Here's a rookie to keep to keep an eye out on. I
35:48don't know. I I'm not drafting him just yet, but Malik Benson is fun. Malik Benson, kid out of Oregon. He did uh
35:56community co or no. Yeah, he did Jo. I was saying essentially community college, but he did jo uh was a monster
36:03in JO and then couldn't find his footing in in college, but he's been standing out in uh in camp, but they have a lot
36:11of fun guys like Jack Bes and Trey Tucker, Jaylen Naylor, Dante Thornton. All right, let's pull
36:20this draft board up.
36:26Uh I'm warning over dattle.
36:32Yeah, exactly. Like you can uh Yeah, this year like I think ZRB could work.
36:35It's just again it's just I I I don't think I can look at you guys with a straight face and recommend it in any
36:41home league is kind of what it comes down to. I I just think it's it's really hard to execute. Um and it needs to be the right setting and
36:52format. like it has to be full PPR, two wide receiver, two flex. And then even then, it should never be a thing you do
36:57on purpose. It should really only be an audible if like values get to you and it's like, "Oh my god, I can't pass on
37:03this wide receiver." Uh, like if I start chase here and then say, uh, Brock Bowers falls all the way back to
37:12me. I take Brock Bowers and then all the running backs get scooped up, but, uh, Drake London somehow makes it to me in
37:18the early third. I'll be I I'll go wide receiver, tight end, wide receiver, and then I'll trust myself to land the
37:22plane. But that's like a one in, you know, thousands of drafts outcome that's happening there. Wow. That's that's the earliest I've ever seen Bruce Hall go.
37:33206 Bruce Hall. Huh.
37:43No, I like Jack Bash. I like Jack Bash.
37:46Uh, your daily meet strapped is August 25th.
37:53Damn. And then we get sniped on Bower.
37:55So that sucks.
37:58That sniped one pick on Bowers, man.
38:02Dude, I'm gonna end up with so many Drake, London, Jamar Chase teams, dude.
38:13Yeah, but I refuse to take my my medicine.
38:17Like there's no world where I take Javvante over Drake London. There just isn't.
38:27Yeah, maybe I should start taking more Malik Neighbors. I was super out on him when things were looking rough.
38:40Let's take some more Jer I need more Jeremiah love after today. But I I've done this exact start like a billion
38:46times.
38:49Chase London Jeremiah love automatic.
38:56Speak zero into existence. I almost did uh I almost did Trey McBride just for some some fun to try out zero RB, but
39:03I'm all set.
39:19Chase on the AJ Brown would be a dream.
39:21See, that's one of the scenarios where like essentially what I'm saying is like zero RB only works if your draft room
39:26lets you have a crazy value. Like if you can start that three stack out the gate, you should do it and then trust yourself
39:32to land the plane. But that's also why zero RB is really only for experienced pilots, man.
39:40Do I pass on love in a three keeper where I have HN JT K9? Honestly, yeah.
39:45I'd go pickins there.
39:48Uh I mean Hampton I picked 24 is an awesome value. I have him as like my 16th ranked player.
39:56I would have that ranked as uh Walker Brown Hampton.
40:01This move after drafting Jamar Chase at the 110. Dude, don't screw the rest of it up. Honestly, I probably go, I probably go
40:18I don't know. It depends on what comes back to you. Most likely a running back, you know, whoever it is between like
40:22Chase Brown, Kenneth Walker, Saquon, whatever.
40:28But I'll be honest, guy like me, if CV Lamb or Jamar or Justin Jefferson come back to me, I'd be I'd think about it.
40:55You said round 10. What's your thoughts on grabbing Gibbs and Beison in an auction? I don't know. Auction strategy is just way over my head. I've never
41:03done an auction.
41:19Does Titan premium change your approach?
41:21Not really. Um, I would see uh any of my high stakes drafts over on the FFPC, you can see me draft in that setting.
41:31Um, let's go DeAndre Swift.
41:36Let's go. We'll see who comes back.
41:41What are your thoughts on Kenya sneak in Dynasty? I like him in Dynasty. Uh reddraft's a little spooked with uh him
41:45being like hurt and not getting a lot of reps.
41:48Jet in round two is asking for it. Hey, there was once upon a time where we were drafting Jets at the round one and two.
42:06Yeah, everybody like the stream, subscribe, ring the notification bell.
42:14Uh, you said auction is so much fun.
42:15It's just not for me, but I get it.
42:19Yeah, somebody was saying Kia Mitchell wrestled with the starters today.
42:21Interesting.
42:23Swift is a good pick. We I I took him on the ship or we took him on the ship chasing uh draft.
42:31Wow. 501 Parker Washington, fellas.
42:34Fun's over. Playtime's over. Yesterday's price is not today's price, fellas.
42:43Could talk me into a running back here, but I'm going to go Jameson Williams.
42:47Actually, ah, fine. We'll take Mclloren. I don't have enough McLaren. Thing wants to take Mclloren.
42:57Your pick between Swift, Monty, or two.
42:58And I would have them in that exact order.
43:04Yo, this is that's a crazy I mean I I get what you're implying.
43:12You can't if if if [laughter] 911 happens and you retroactively change them from the Jets to something else,
43:23then the terrorists won. Like it just it it it's the New York Jets, brother.
43:30We got to turn around eventually.
43:38Uh, double tap running back of the turn in a 10 man. You could. It's not my cup of tea.
43:43Is taking Terry in round five cool with Jaden? No. Come on.
43:51Yeah, I'm not worried about the uh I'm not worried about the ankle.
44:01Yeah, I'm swift over to Swift. It's so tough because we we have been talking about the RB dead zone and kind of how
44:07that works and we want to be shooting for ceiling, but uh and we'll do a running back dead zone video probably next week.
44:15But some of the biggest winners from the dead zone have been veterans that make it out. Uh I want to say that was Joe
44:22Mixon in 2024.
44:26uh Alvin Kamara in 2024. I think James Connor uh in like 2023 or 2024. Like we've seen guys [snorts] that are like, "Oh, these guys are like
44:38aging veteran dead zone backs be awesome picks there." And Swift kind of profiles like that. Swift has never finished outside the top 24 running backs in
44:46points per game. He once upon a time in his draft class with Jonathan Taylor and Cam Acres and JK Dobbins was this like
44:52exciting explosive receiving back. He was like Jamir Gibbs before Jir Gibbs.
44:56It's crazy that is to say. Um I guess that's a little bit too lofty. I mean he was a he was a round two pick, but
45:01remember Swift was taken ahead of uh Jonathan Taylor in the early second round in that draft.
45:08Trying to think of a better comp than Gibbs, but he was a he was as good of a of a round
45:16two running back prospect as it gets DeAndre Swift.
45:20But receiving upside explosive the Bears off like I just want pieces attached to bear uh Ben Johnson. Like Swift is a guy I'll make an exception
45:29for if I'm weak at running back.
45:35Depends. It depends on what his price settles at. I'm not paying 501 like this guy did here, but uh other side like
45:40once you get to like the Christian Watson range, I think he's fine. Uh but like Devonte McLaren, Mike Evans, I'm probably taking the UNS over him.
45:52Yes. Let me get JD. I never get the JD to McLaren stack. So, let's have some fun.
46:03Love does look different.
46:06I'll be drafting Jeremiah 11 in the third round all summer long, man.
46:22The hell is this guy? You're getting You're getting banned, brother. What do you mean? Is this full PPR sleeper? Does this If you're ask me If you're asking
46:27me if this is a sleeper draft, do you know what sleeper looks like, brother?
46:36Um, wow. So, Jonathan Brooks went All right, we will go pard here.
46:49I like that.
46:52I like where we're at.
46:55Three running backs, three wide receivers. Jayen Daniels stacked up to McLaren. What could go wrong?
47:00Just half PPR.
47:10Why from Japan? What time is it over there? Uh J Mo or Adams? That's such a tough one for me. God, that's tough.
47:28I want to say Jameson Williams. I I I got to I I don't know what I have in the rankings, but they're back to back. I
47:34think Brooks will be RB1 in week one. I I think the I think the bull case on Brooks is like maybe that's the case if
47:39if Hubard's injury is serious. I would guess that Hubard's probably around for week one. Uh I think it's that Brooks eases his way in and then from like week
47:46six on is like a, you know, a firm RB2.
47:53Could you name five famous Ronalds?
47:56Ronald Reagan, Ronald McDonald.
48:00You guys think Ronnie Coleman's uh government name is Ronald?
48:07Ronald Jones.
48:13I agree. You got player number 02 in here. What's going on? Are we sure that Parker Washington's a better wide receiver than Brian Thomas? No. But
48:20Parker Washington's role is just a lot more fantasy friendly. He's going to be moved around getting a lot of the easy
48:24layup stuff. Uh whereas Brian Thomas going to have to win vertically down the field uh kind of a more boom bust
48:30fashion. I would think of it as like kind of the Jameson Williams versus uh versus uh Aman Ros full PBR. Uh a little bit 12:30 p.m.
48:58in half. I'm just more willing to put a running back in the flex spot, especially if I draft them early.
49:12Uh, I think he take over the backfield.
49:16Oh, Runa, good call.
49:20Somebody look that up for me. Is Ronnie Coleman Is Ronnie Coleman's real his government name? Is it Ronald?
49:32Let's do.
49:45Let's do Herald Fannon. See what comes back.
49:50Uh, why am I avoiding Javvante? Uh, I feel like I talk about it every time.
49:54Um, but his yards per run was just terrible last year. And like why that matters is JJ Zach has done a study on it. If your
50:02yards per run is terrible in the previous season, you're just very unlikely to be a league winner. We have like one good season from Javvante post
50:09injury. He's now getting priced all the way up. I think Jaden Blue is like a legit threat. I think he's fine. Uh, but
50:15I'm just like not interested in shooting for floor at running back uh in the range he goes when I could be drafting
50:22like league winning receivers.
50:25Uh, let's pair Diggs up. Let's do the Diggs and Mcccluren thing to Jaden Daniels. Why not? Yeah, the Bantis injury is an issue. The Bantis injury is
50:34a big issue.
50:39Ron Harper. Yep.
50:42Ron Harper Jr. people so hyped on Brooks being a lead back. Yeah, that's the issue really. The the biggest issue is
50:48that Carolina's offensive line might not be good. That was the the biggest issue because I prior to that, yes, their offense might not score a lot of
50:56touchdowns, but we know Canal is going to run the ball a lot and their offensive line, they got Rasheed Walker, they got uh Monroe Freeling in the
51:02draft. On top of that, like Auan who's getting healthy. Uh there's like maybe another guy I'm not thinking off top of
51:07my head, they got uh Robert Hunt from the Dolphins a couple years back. like their O line was a top 10 unit and now
51:14with all the injuries it it's really tough.
51:20Yeah, Tyson's tough, man. Tyson's tough.
51:23I moved him to the bottom of his tier, but I might even move him further.
51:27It's tough, though. Like, I I I don't know that I can sit there with a straight face and say, "Yeah, draft like
51:37DK Metaf over Jordan Tyson.
51:46It is wrong. I'll tell you.
52:00See this Jeremiah love stuff you guys are talking about.
52:11Mild ankle sprain and no concerns from Jesse Morris.
52:16So, Carolina was a top 10 offensive line this year, but now they have they're like not I wouldn't say decimated by
52:23injuries, but they're in a pretty rough spot injury-wise.
52:32Meta World Peace was born or Ronald Damn. Rashad White and Bill went.
52:44Damn. I would have liked one of them on this team.
52:53Let me get Chris Rodriguez, sir. Thank you. Yeah, give me Chris Rodriguez.
52:57Actually, we're gonna take Myers and see if we can push Rodriguez is what I've decided.
53:08Hope neither of these guys are watching the stream. But they were spamming Jay Love a ton in the preseason game. Chill.
53:18J is your Titan one. Bowers for me.
53:21Bowers for me personally.
53:26I will say, fellas, this of course is an underdog draft. This is a baseball mania draft. $25. The winner gets, let me
53:33actually check. I I don't know what the the winner gets for certain. $2 million to first place. Uh you can draft with us
53:40all summer long. When you use promo code Ron, you play $5, you'll get $50 on the site to mess around with. We'll go Chris
53:46Rodriguez here.
53:51Uh but you can get that in the description, comment section, pin in the live chat, all that good stuff. Uh, do
53:56you know how the solver works? Honestly, no. I just know that it like recommends me picks and I like having I like having some
54:03kind of uh some kind of bumpers on my bowling lanes for uh best ball drafts.
54:32Hate to see me just spill water on myself there.
54:35Hate to see. I was reading chat.
54:44I could see Brock Bowers playing like legitimate slot receiver with Michael Mayer. If I if I was running things for the Raiders, that's what I would do. I
54:51would run Brock Bowers as my slot receiver and I would run Michael Mayer on the line as my inline tight end.
55:03Oh, did you just say been on a weekly kick of finding a couple good matchups on certain weeks and loading up? What
55:08the hell does that mean? Show the full team. Yes, we drafted from the fourth spot. We went Jamar Chase, Drake London,
55:13Jeremiah Love, DeAndre Swift, Terry McLaren, Jaden Daniels, Tony Pard, Harold Fannon, Stefon Diggs, Kobe Meyers, Chris Rodriguez. We are loading up on this uh week 17 match up between
55:24Washington and Jaguars.
55:36What else we got in here?
55:40Devonte Smith, T. Higgins, or TPR? I would have them ranked in that exact order.
55:45Any advice for a guillotine league? I got nothing for you, man.
55:49I got nothing.
55:52I say it all the time in here, but the the freakiest I'll get in fantasy football is Superflex, Tight End, Premium, and Dynasty. That's it.
56:03Like Guillotine, Vampire.
56:11Trying to think of the other uh formats or whatever.
56:17Oh, I see what you're saying. Week 16, Colts, Bengals, Chargers, Dolphins, Saints, Cardinals.
56:35Well, the the Jonathan Brooks Chuba thing um was like already on a collision course. I mean, we have been we we've
56:43been showing it on this channel that like in all of the high stakes drafts, um the like Jonathan Brooks has been going
56:50way ahead of ADP like even without the uh the hovered injury.
57:07Let's go. Shock Panthers Love Chuba I guess.
57:13Who did I take first? I took Chase. I went Jamar Chase, Drake London, Jeremiah Love, Swift, Mcccluren, Jaden Daniels, Pard Fannon,
57:23Diggs, Meyers, Rodriguez. What do you guys think? Shuck? Is Shaken Daniels that enough at quarterback? To me, it's like right on the borderline.
57:32White is a legal winner, man. Now that's a that's a dead zone RB. Damn, I was hoping go
57:42conquer came back to us.
57:50Recommendation for good dynasty content.
57:54Um, I would say me, but this is obviously part of the season where I'm not doing dynasty content.
58:01Um, there's a couple guys who do year round dynasty stuff. I like Pure Potential. Paul's a good guy.
58:09Can't say I really consume much, but I think Brooks ADP lands at the beginning of the season. Depends on the format, man. It depends on the format.
58:18It really does. If you're talking like home league ADP, I guess he settles in around Jaylen Moore and Jadarian Price.
58:27uh in high stakes. I think he probably gets into the freaking like Judkins area. Um underdog probably right where he's going right
58:42here.
58:45There is certainly like I think the biggest issue I have with Jonathan Brooks is like I do wonder how much volume he can
58:52handle. I mean, you guys see like I'm I'm not uh I have him way Jonathan Brooks is a tough one to walk the line of in my high
58:59stakes leagues. I'll probably end up with like none of him. I'm not going to chase him up. Someone said in here
59:04earlier that Theo drafted a main where he got taken in the early fifth. I'm not doing that. Um but in like a home league
59:11setting or whatever where everyone's drafting off like the sleeper ADP or default rankings and Jonathan Brooks is going at pick like 80, you can actually
59:18pull him up and take him in the seventh round. I think that's a good idea. But um it's just tough.
59:24Uh no, this is our last draft of the night.
59:27What pick do I want? It's tough with the superflex aspect. I'd have to like really look at it. Um I'd say preferably
59:34a top five pick.
59:37Preferably a top five pick. Give me one of uh in any order or not really any order, but Josh Allen, Jamir Gibbs, Bejon,
59:47Jamar Chase, Pukanakua. Give me one of those five.
59:56Is DVO still a guy? Honestly, yeah, dude. Debo Debo had like a 1.6 plus yards per out run last year, which like
60:02for a veteran receiver on a team that lost their quarterback with Jaden Daniels, you're in a great spot.
60:22Will my thumbnail make me look old as I don't know. Blood broke a 50-yard touchdown today. Uh, you think he can flip a Chan or Henry? Honestly,
60:29maybe.
60:31Maybe.
60:33Shout out to Amir Abdullah for doing that back in the day.
60:37Forever in my heart. I thought Amir Abdullah was gonna be awesome, dude. I thought Amir Abdul was going to be so
60:43good.
60:52Yeah, let me get Kamara.
60:56Now our five running backs are Love, Swift, Pard, Rodriguez, Kamar. We could probably cut it off at six. We could even cut it off here if we wanted to.
61:04We're at 2552.
61:07Trying to think of how we're going to land this thing. We probably want three tight ends.
61:11You could talk me into a third quarterback, though. We have nothing lined up really. I guess we would have Brassette late if we wanted it.
61:29H I don't know why the thing wants like nothing to do with the receivers available right now or the running backs available.
61:40I'm gonna take a I'm gonna take our last running back here, I think.
61:45Go B- Rob.
61:55Yeah, we'll go B Rob because he's on the other side of our Saints stuff in week 17. Yeah, so that's good. All right, we
62:00have six running backs.
62:02Probably gonna be a 2673 is kind of how I'm looking at this. What do you guys think? Think Daniel's in shot good
62:08enough. I think it's right on the fringe.
62:13Might do a 3663 as well. I think 3663 could work.
62:213663 might be the play.
62:24Feel like middle picks are good. I think honestly everything works in Superflex just because of like the way that quarterbacks then push up push around
62:30all the talent and just that every superflex draft is like its own little snowflake or whatever you want to say where you know some some drafts will be
62:38super quarterback hungry some drafts will wait on quarterback uh JJ Zacharison has had some good tweets about superflex recently where like
62:46superflex rankings are they're not useless but they're so tough to account for the environment you're drafting Like a superflex draft is not purely
62:59reactionary, but it's very much reactionary.
63:02You have to kind of go with like the es and the flows of the room because there is no exact science for
63:09what a quarterback should be worth in Superflex.
63:13should be more.
63:15It should be like almost even with the running backs and receivers and tight ends or whatever, but is Lamar worth a late first and Chuck
63:23and 12 team PPR superflex? No, that ain't enough.
63:36Stribbling 17 for 72 today.
63:41Interesting.
63:48Get two keepers. Tie on the fourth and Javvante in the 10th. That's pretty sweet. That's very sweet.
64:08Trying to think of how we're going to land this plane. I think we might do the 3663 thing. This is the team so far. We
64:14have 2652. We have Jason London up top.
64:17We have Jeremiah Love, DeAndre, Terry McLaren, Jaden Daniels, Tony Pard, Harold Fannon, Stefon Digs, Kobe Myers, Chris Rodriguez, Tyler Shuck, Jawan
64:25Johnson, Alvin Kamar, Brian Robinson.
64:29But what what quarterback? I don't I was going to say another quarterback. I don't know if I we we could do the
64:35Jacobe thing. Jacobe to Jeremiah Love.
64:37Jacobe did look good tonight, but I don't know. And reddraft on ESPN.
64:42How far are you willing to push up potential RB ones?
64:47If it's half PPR and it's a running back hungry league, you can absolutely push up those running backs over CD and
64:52Jefferson. In a full PPR, like two flex league, I'm probably taking Jefferson or CD, but I have them all in the same tier
64:58on the draft guide.
65:06Yeah, that's a good point. I might just I think I might do three tight ends and just keep the two quarterbacks
65:13because I don't really want to do Jacobe Brassette wants to take Isaac Tesla.
65:28Damn Tesla goes. Damn. Damn. Um I think I'm branch. We're just spamming this uh spamming this week 17 Falcons versus
65:42Saints matchup. We have a lot of week 17 correlation on this team. We have Washington to two quarterbacks. We have New Orleans to running back tight end.
65:50And we have three Falcons bring back. We have two Jaguars bring backs.
65:56All right, so we're no more running backs on
66:11this team. Do any of the tight ends stack up for us?
66:17Washington, New Orleans. Now let's take Frierouth.
66:29Take Friouth. We'll call that a day.
66:33And we'll call this a 2673.
66:38Shout out round 18. I actually don't hate that. I would if I didn't have I feel like I have too much.
66:45I already have the quarterback, running back, tight end, and three bring backs, but you could talk me into it.
66:52Drake May in a late one for Lamar. You take that and run, brother.
67:00I would say I have James Cook and uh or I have Kenneth Walker and Chase Brown back toback is what I will say. I think
67:05they're both great picks, but today did make me nudge Chase Brown ever so slightly ahead.
67:15But I do like Kenneth Walker has his own upside case. That's pretty obvious.
67:23I just did a video recently uh or I guess it was more like cost adjusted on my my favorite picks in every round, but
67:30we'll do a My Guys video here soon.
67:45But it is tough, man. Like even after today's video, I still find it's really close. It's excruciatingly close between Chase Brown and Kenneth Walker.
67:57Excruciatingly close between all the guys in that tier. We're literally just splitting hairs.
68:05That's why I think even as like as much fun as like the 10 through 12, I would the one the nine spot where you get
68:11James Cook and then you let the room decide which of the running backs come back to I think is a fun idea.
68:20Maybe even the 10. I'm trying to think of like I I have some Jacobe just not crazy
68:32about it without a a Cardinals receiver.
68:37Chase Brown ninth overall. I could see that. What you know about Don Maynard, bro? What you know about that?
68:45110 10 man. I'm just going to take two of the four. I don't mind that you have beef with Kenneth Walker.
68:52You've been drafting Derrick Henover, Hampton, Brown, Gentian Walker. I don't hate that in half PPR is what I would say.
69:01We're going to take a wide receiver here. Solver wants Devon Ble.
69:06Maybe that's what we'll do. I like German Bernard, too, though.
69:11He was kind of hooping today.
69:15I like going Walker than Emma Johnson later. If I get Brown, though.
69:19Interesting.
69:24I agree. The 103 and the 104 is the trickiest spot to draft this year. I think the the options in the first round
69:30are too good to pass up on and chase and puka. I think you put yourself in a precarious position thereafter.
69:39I've had a treat like round two through five.
69:57I'm gonna do Devon Ble, man. Let's do Devon with the Tyson stuff.
70:05But all right, that's going to do it for us today, fellas. Thank you everyone for coming out, hanging out with us. Uh
70:12here's the final team. We went Jaden Daniels, Tyler Shuck, Jeremiah Love, DeAndre, Tony Pard, Chris Rodriguez, Alvin Kamar, Brian Robinson, Jamar
70:22Chase, Drake London, Terry McLaren, Stfan Diggs, Kobe Myers, Zach Gria Branch, Devon Vele, Harold Fan, and Jawan Johnson, and Pat Frymouth. As
70:31always, if you have a draft coming up, make sure you check out the basementdraftguide.com.
70:37That is where my draft guide lives. All of the research we do in all these videos affects how I adjust these rankings. You have my tier
70:45top 200. You can sing it to your sleeper league. All that good stuff and more.
70:48The basementdraftguide.com.
