In 2023, DJ Moore was a legitimate great receiver. Wide receiver, eight in points per game, eight targets a night, 80 receiving yards a game, a career-high 2.34 yards per route run. Then watch this direct falloff in 2023 averaging 2.34 yards per out run down to 2024 that falls to 1.5. And then the following season that falls to 1.26, one of the worst marks in the entire NFL among wide receivers that have real volume. And his target earning ability has collapsed with it. 8.2 targets per game down to five.
STACKED’s take
Positive signalBust
DJ Moore is fading due to a three-year trend of declining efficiency: yards per route run fell from 2.34 (2023) to 1.5 (2024) to 1.26 (2025), and target earning ability collapsed from 8.2 to 5 targets per game. At age 29 in his ninth year, historical comps at age 28 averaged fewer than 10 PPG the following year, yet Moore is priced as WR27 expecting a 20-spot jump on a team change alone.
