From the article

MarShawn Lloyd made another start, splitting reps with Chris Brooks this time around. Lloyd out-snapped him 9-5 and out-carried him 4-1. Lloyd was also the only running back to see a target with the starters. He converted it into an 11-yard score. Lloyd wouldn't see every carry if Jacobs misses time, but he would be the clear lead back. He might have even played himself into a part-time role with Jacobs healthy.

Lloyd's TD and snap advantage suggest lead-back role if Jacobs misses time.
