Jackson at ADP 38 is not worth the early-round cost despite his talent. Joel Smyth notes that while Jackson would have been QB1 in 2024, he wouldn't have hit this price in the other five seasons since 2020; QBs rarely justify early-round investment when the position is easy to find in late rounds. Jackson's situation lacks the perfection needed for an early pick: new first-time play-caller, Derrick Henry in the red zone, a great defense, and coming off injury. Smyth prefers targeting Zay Flowers, who was a fantasy WR1 with Jackson on the field in 2025, in the same round as a better value.
