Ron Stewart identifies Jalen Hurts as a high-value target at the 6/7 turn in drafts. Since 2021, Hurts ranks second only to Josh Allen in fantasy PPG (21.3). Despite a 'down year' in 2023 where he finished as the QB6, Stewart expects a bounce-back under new play-caller Kellen Moore, who is pushing Hurts to play more under center and target the middle of the field. Historically, Hurts has been conservative, with a league-low 13.7% of pass attempts targeting the middle, yet he ranks second in both adjusted net yards per attempt and EPA per dropback when doing so. The coaching staff is actively working to increase his aggression in this area, which could lead to a significant breakout.
