Josh Allen is in a tier of his own and he's QB1 in every single draft, every single format... the cost is too expensive when you just compare it to the other options... he's never had such a gap in ADP between him and the guys like Lamar Burrow, you know, Jaden Daniels, Herz, Drake May, and it's hard for me to justify... if those guys were going in like rounds five and six... Josh Allen's going, you know, 34 and those guys are going in like you can get them in round eight sometimes.

Josh Allen is QB1 in every single draft and format with historically safe production and legitimate upside, deserving QB1 status based on his historical track record of top-three PPR production when healthy. However, the cost is too expensive relative to alternatives. Allen is going in round 4 in NFC drafts and the four–five turn in FFPC, while Jaden Daniels, Lamar Jackson, Jaylen Hurts, and Drake May go in rounds 5–6 or even round 8, creating an unjustifiable premium for roster construction. The ADP gap between Allen and QB2 options with comparable upside has never been wider, making it difficult to justify the early pick when you can get QB2 with upside later and allocate capital to deeper running back and wide receiver classes. You can take Jaden Daniels with another QB late without forcing auto-start every week, capturing upside without premium capital allocation.
