Jameson Williams, a guy who went from a pure downfield receiver. 19yard AOT to a 16yard AOT to an 11.6 yard AOT to a 12.7 yard AOT... Last year down the stretch of the season, he was at 16 plus points per game as a wide receiver one after the by-week... I have to believe that it is an a point of emphasis for Dan Campbell to get Jameson Williams involved.

STACKED’s take

Positive signalProjection

Williams' declining ADoT signals more slot usage; 16+ PPG post-bye under Campbell.

Williams' average depth of target (ADoT) has declined from 19 yards to 16, 11.6, and 12.7 yards, indicating increased usage on screens, crossers, drags, and horizontal playmaking rather than pure downfield work; anything under 13.4 ADoT is positive for Williams. Down the stretch last season after the bye-week, he averaged 16+ PPR points per game as a WR1, coinciding with both Sam LaPorta's injury and Dan Campbell taking over play-calling duties. Campbell should emphasize getting Williams involved in a featured role in a dome-scoring offense.
