Tate is going to be an awesome player. His ball skills were a standout trait, and he's coming into the pros as a more polished route runner than most. Unfortunately, there's a realness to be a 21-year-old early-declare in Week 1, especially in this offense.

Tate's polished skills limited by Titans' quick-hitting scheme and Cam Ward uncertainty.

Tate going to be awesome player; ball skills standout trait, coming into pros as more polished route runner than most. Wasn't elite WR prospect but tier down as projectable top receiver in offense. However, realness to being 21-year-old early-declare in Week 1, especially in this offense. Titans' quick-hitting offense not set up for volume to outside receivers; Tate wasn't manufactured touch player in college, so production will be 'real' but dependent on Cam Ward improving (mystery behind potential bottom-three offensive line). Titans project 20.0 points (26th) in one of easiest matchups of year. Tate faces 2025 third-round CB1 AZ Thomas and veteran CB2 Brandon Stephens (neither imposing).
