From the episode

I want to be in on Chase Brown, Ken Walker, Hampton, Barkley, Henry, again, sliding scale, A-chan, sliding scale. And so once I see how the, you know, the nominees are going, the nominations are going, I'll probably throw in Gibbs or throw in Bijon if it comes to me, let somebody else again spend money on that. And then after two or three of them are off the board, just knowing that they're in the same tier for me, then I'll start to jump in.

Barkley is a second-tier auction target to acquire after top-four backs are off board.

Barkley is included in speaker's second tier of running backs to target in auction, alongside Chase Brown, Ken Walker, Henry, and A-chan; speaker's strategy is to wait for two or three top-tier backs to come off the board before jumping in on this tier to avoid overpaying.
