McBride taken early round three with Drake May; tight end-QB stack in first six picks.

Early round three tight end selection in a draft build that pairs an elite tight end with a top-three quarterback (Drake May) in the first six picks; the source notes this is a team construction that works but acknowledges a slight preference for waiting until round six or later before taking both a top-tier tight end and top-tier quarterback, as it provides more roster-building flexibility.
