From the episode
Brian Thomas played six and a half points per game below expected last year. The one thing that's really interesting is that his air yards per game really didn't change year over year. He just didn't convert the same way that he did as a rookie... he definitely didn't make the big plays that he did, the splash plays that he did as a rookie. And that led to a 7% first downs per outrun rate and a 1.50 yards per outrun... I'm more neutral with Brian Thomas.
STACKED’s take
Positive signalProjection
Thomas played 6.5 points per game below expected last year despite unchanged air yards per game, failing to convert splash plays like he did as a rookie, posting a 7% first downs per route run rate and 1.50 yards per route run, but the analyst is 'more neutral' given the positive environment and his rookie success.
