The Athletic Football Show on Brenton Strange

Strange is a breakout candidate as he shifts to a vertical receiving role

The source identifies Brenton Strange as a breakout candidate because the addition of a big-bodied tight end allows him to move out of the inline role (336 snaps last year) and into his natural role as a vertical threat. He is considered one of the top 3-4 vertical tight ends in the NFL, ranking behind only George Kittle and Colston Loveland in EPA per target among tight ends with 50+ targets last year.
