NeutralRole

Dillon is a bruising back without explosiveness; Panthers rank 21st in run DVOA.

Dillon is one of two bruising Panthers running backs (6-foot, 247) alongside Chuba Hubbard. While the pair can wear down defenses over time, they lack explosiveness; the Panthers' longest run of the season is 24 yards by Kenny Pickett, and the running backs have no run over 16 yards. The run game ranks 21st in DVOA, 23rd in EPA, and 23rd in success rate for the season, though it showed late-game improvement against Cleveland with 76 yards on 12 carries (6.3 YPC) in the fourth quarter.
