From the episode

In the case of Rico Dowdle, we know what this Patriots run defense has been whenever Milton Williams on the field. The split is not ideal to see both these guys getting touches. I just don't want to start either one if I can avoid it.

Negative signalProjection

Source avoids starting Dowdle against dominant Patriots run defense.

The source does not want to start Rico Dowdle against the Patriots, citing the Patriots run defense as a dominant force when Milton Williams is on the field; the split between Dowdle and his backfield partner is not ideal, and the source would avoid starting either back if possible.
