Negative signalRole

Ingram's role shift to line (66% snaps) from slot is a negative for tight end upside.

Ingram lined up in line on 21 of 32 snaps (66%), a significant shift from his 47% in-line rate over his previous two seasons; he was barely used in the slot (unlike Jalen Waddell) and caught his touchdown when lined up out wide. Being on the end of the line of scrimmage for two-thirds of snaps is typically unfavorable for tight end fantasy production, despite his solid week one performance.
