Beckham released after 1 target in 3 games; Giants' scheme couldn't accommodate him.

Released by Giants after comeback attempt failed to gain traction; recorded just 1 target and 0 receptions over 3 games while playing only 20 offensive snaps. Harbaugh stated the offense couldn't get Beckham on the field effectively despite wanting to: 'We just weren't getting enough. It just wasn't working for us. I told him I wanted to be able to get more.' Giants' heavy formations with multiple tight ends and fullback Patrick Ricard limited opportunities for Beckham, with only Malik Nabers, Malachi Fields, and Darnell Mooney getting consistent receiver snaps.
