Davis Mattek on Colby Parkinson

Primarily a blocking tight end with limited target upside

Davis Mattek describes Colby Parkinson as essentially a sixth offensive lineman used primarily for blocking rather than drawing targets. Parkinson serves on early downs in 11 personnel, but his role is volatile due to injury concerns and competition with Tyler Higbee and Davis Allen for pass-catching snaps. Unlike the team's primary pass-catching tight ends, Parkinson does not move before the snap.
