The Seattle Times Seahawks on Sam Darnold

Darnold's two INCs, including a pick-six, doomed Seahawks' comeback bid in loss.

Darnold threw for 379 yards and four touchdowns but was marred by two interceptions in the Seahawks' 33-31 loss to Washington; threw a critical pick-six to linebacker Kain Medrano with 3:57 remaining that gave the Commanders a 33-24 lead and effectively ended the game. The source notes he made a bad decision on the final interception, acknowledging he should have thrown the ball away instead of forcing it over the middle to AJ Barner.
