Beckham cut by Giants after brief stint; claims used as publicity stunt.

Beckham created goodwill during the offseason working to return to the Giants after a year away from football and made the team, but the Giants cut him. He subsequently agreed with fan criticism that the Giants used him as a publicity stunt, commenting on Instagram that he was brought in humbly on a vet minimum but ultimately cut without genuine long-term intention.
