Aaron Jones

NegativeProjection67:32

Jones is ranked below Woody Marks and Jermondre Stevenson in a three-back one-start scenario.

Insight page

Aaron Rodgers

PositiveProjection32:24

Four straight games of 20+ fantasy points; Pittsburgh at New Orleans matchup. Saints have allowed quarterback group to score 24+ fantasy points in three of their last four games (including Giants combined last week). Rodgers is in a great spot. Source notes he had eight points in overtime last week, so actual performance was better than fantasy points indicated.

Insight page
NegativeProjection68:14

Rodgers ranked 12th by Jamie and the source, 9th by Dave; has reverted to short-area passing with 4.6 and 4.0 yards average. Saints have the second-lowest pressure rate among defenses, which should reduce his concern about getting hit, though the source notes this is not a particularly good matchup overall.

Insight page
NegativeProjection68:42

Rodgers is ranked QB 12 by the source, just ahead of Tyler Shuck and several spots ahead of Patrick Mahomes; Jamie also has him around 12th, while Dave ranks him 9th. The source notes Rodgers has reverted to short-area passing (4.6 and 4.0 yards average) but expects improvement this week as the Saints have the second-lowest pressure rate among defenses.

Insight page
PositiveProjection71:22

Rodgers ranked as a 10th–12th quarterback option for the week; the source notes he's been extremely productive over the last month and is playing at a level that gets the job done, though not a must-start. He scored eight points in overtime in a recent game and faces a defense that has given up a lot of big games to quarterbacks recently, making him a comfortable pivot option from top-tier quarterbacks like Josh Allen, Trevor Lawrence, or Jaden Daniels.

Insight page

Adonai Mitchell

NegativeInjury27:32

Limited in practice; source assumes he's okay for Week 7.

Insight page

Alvin Kamara

NegativeProjection16:00

Kamara is a Saints running back to avoid against Pittsburgh; has scored three touchdowns (two rushing, one receiving) which has inflated his value; has been limited to 12 total touches or less in each of the last three games; Kendra Miller has 40 total touches over that span; source would like to avoid this situation against Steelers defense.

Insight page
PositiveProjection67:28

Kamara is preferred over Tracy in a start-sit comparison, though the source notes it is close, indicating Kamara remains the safer start despite Tracy's recent performance.

Insight page

Amon-Ra St. Brown

NegativeProjection72:25

Amon-Ra St. Brown (Jamo) was included in a start/sit question asking to pick one among Bernard, Coker, Jamo, or Braylon Allen for PPR scoring, but no explicit preference was stated in the transcript excerpt provided.

Insight page

Baker Mayfield

PositiveInjury26:03

Practiced in full this week, putting him in play for Week 7 after limited participation previously.

Insight page

Braelon Allen

PositiveProjection5:45

Allen is the start of the week for the Jets against Miami; Dolphins rank third worst in fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs; Allen has scored 12.4 points or more in each of his last two games and should have another strong performance. Monitor Breece Hall's practice status as Hall's return could affect Allen's role, though the source expects Allen to retain significant touches (30-40%) even if Hall plays.

Insight page
PositiveProjection32:47

Jamie loves Braylon Allen in the Miami at Jets matchup. Source indicates he's a preferred start this week.

Insight page
NegativeProjection72:25

Braylon Allen was included in a start/sit question asking to pick one among Bernard, Coker, Jamo, or Braylon Allen for PPR scoring, but no explicit preference was stated in the transcript excerpt provided.

Insight page

Breece Hall

NegativeInjury27:05

Missed practice this week, raising availability concerns for Week 7.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveInjury28:32

Limited with hamstring and calf issues; source views limited participation as a positive sign for his availability.

Insight page

Brock Purdy

PositiveProjection43:11

Despite a poor fantasy half without Mike Evans, Purdy is still preferred over Mahomes; the source starts him over Mahomes this week.

Insight page

C.J. Stroud

PositiveMatchup59:01

Stroud is a must-start quarterback against the Giants, who are missing their starting cornerback and best safety; the Giants have allowed only one QB to throw for more than 200 yards this season, but this is partly due to game script (up 30 at halftime, running clock out).

Insight page
PositiveProjection64:48

Source likes CJ Stroud quite a bit for Week 7; performing well despite crowded receiving corps with Tank Dell, Nico Collins, Dalton Schultz, and Jalen Knoll all competing for targets.

Insight page
PositiveProjection66:46

CJ Stroud is ranked as a top-8 quarterback by the source panel, ahead of Dak Prescott; rankings vary slightly (Dave has him 3rd, Jamie has him in top 8, Heath has him in top 8), reflecting strong conviction on his performance this week.

Insight page

Caleb Douglas

PositiveInjury26:59

Could be on his way back this week for the Dolphins after missing time.

Insight page
PositiveInjury27:39

Could be on his way back this week for the Dolphins; source notes the team hasn't had all three top receivers (Douglas, Rasheed Rice, and another) on the field at the same time yet.

Insight page

Chase Brown

NegativeMatchup29:45

Ranked about 15th among running backs; facing Baltimore's pretty good run defense post-bye. The source notes you still start him by default with hope for a productive game coming off the bye, though the Ravens run defense has shown hit-or-miss results. Involvement in the passing game is key for Brown's fantasy value.

Insight page
PositiveProjection30:00

Source still starting him in Cincinnati at Baltimore despite Ravens' run defense variability; coming off bye week with hope for productive game; Ravens run defense has shown hit-or-miss results against opposing backs.

Insight page
NegativeRole47:27

Chase Brown must be started despite a poor matchup against Baltimore (sixth best against RBs, 3.8 yards per carry allowed); however, workload is a concern due to Samajé Pirine getting significant work (Miami game) and historical timeshare patterns from last year when P. Ryan was healthy (60-40 split favoring Brown, 58% snaps vs. 42%). Offensive coordinator Dan Pitcher's play-calling favors Pirine on shotgun runs and Brown on under-center runs, adding uncertainty.

Insight page
PositiveProjection67:25

Brown is one of three running backs in a start-two scenario with Ashton Gentry and Woody Marks; the source sits Marks, implying Brown is a preferred start.

Insight page

Chris Olave

PositiveRole71:12

Olave is one of only two players the source is comfortably starting in the Saints-Steelers game, indicating strong confidence in his role and production despite the overall weakness of the matchup.

Insight page

Christian Kirk

PositiveInjury27:16

Practiced in full; source recommends considering him as a pickup for Week 7.

Insight page

Christian Watson

NegativeInjury26:52

Limited in practice; source assumes he's fine for Week 7.

Insight page
NegativeInjury27:36

Limited in practice but source assumes he's fine for Week 7.

Insight page

Cole Kmet

PositiveProjection67:32

Kmet is preferred over Laporta in a tight end start-sit comparison.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

NegativeProjection14:00

Loveland is a player to avoid against the Patriots; Patriots have been incredible against tight ends except for Brock Bowers, who scored 91% of his fantasy points not playing as an in-line tight end; Loveland is about 50-50 in that regard; Patriots have destroyed in-line tight ends; source is not excited about Bears pass game and doesn't want to start Loveland.

Insight page
PositiveProjection72:49

In a start/sit comparison, one panelist preferred Colson Loveland over Jawan Johnson, indicating Loveland is a preferred tight end option for the week.

Insight page

Dalton Schultz

NegativeInjury28:23

Missed practice; source notes this may not be just a routine Wednesday absence and warrants monitoring, though he's assumed to play.

Insight page
NegativeUsage65:02

Had 6 targets last week if he plays; competing for targets in crowded Texans offense alongside Nico Collins, Tank Dell, Marvin Harrison Jr., and Jalen Knoll; role and target share uncertain heading into Week 7.

Insight page

David Montgomery

NegativeInjury26:47

Missed practice this week, raising availability concerns for Week 7.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

NegativeInjury27:28

Missed practice; status uncertain heading into Week 7.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

NegativeInjury27:36

Limited in practice; source assumes he's okay for Week 7.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

PositiveProjection7:00

Metcalf is one of two Steelers wide receivers the source loves against New Orleans; last game both Metcalf and Jeremy Bernard were north of 11 targets each; while the source doesn't expect that target volume to continue to the same degree, Saints secondary is weak and has allowed multiple receivers to score 13.4+ PPR points in the same game once already this season, supporting another strong performance.

Insight page
PositiveProjection70:46

Metcalf is a must-start alongside Bernard; has scored 12+ PPR points in three of his last four games, demonstrating consistent production. Still preferred over Bernard but the gap is narrowing.

Insight page

Dylan Sampson

PositiveInjury26:33

Todd Monken is optimistic about Dylan Sampson playing this week, signaling likely availability for Week 7.

Insight page

Emanuel Wilson

NegativeRole41:10

Wilson has been a flex option for the source in recent weeks with Charbonnet on IR, but faces potential phase-out as Jadarian Price trends toward returning in week eight; when Seattle is fully healthy, Wilson likely won't see the field.

Insight page

Hunter Henry

PositiveUsage72:09

Henry has not had more than five targets in a game this year, similar to Freiermuth's limited target volume, raising concerns about his consistency and ceiling.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

PositiveProjection55:56

Likely is a must-start tight end against the Bengals, who are so bad against tight ends; the source views the Ravens' decision to pay Mark Andrews over Likely as a bigger mistake than Seattle letting Ken Walker walk.

Insight page

J.J. McCarthy

NegativeMatchup63:00

Not capable of replicating Trevor Lawrence's Week 6 performance against Texans defense; source credits Lawrence's success to excellent play and throws rather than defensive breakdowns, suggesting McCarthy will struggle against Texans' strong run defense and secondary.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

NegativeProjection67:22

Dobbins is ranked below Woody Marks in a direct start-sit comparison, indicating lower preference for Week 7.

Insight page
NegativeProjection67:28

Tracy is ranked below Kamara in a direct start-sit comparison, indicating lower preference for Week 7.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

PositiveProjection47:27

Chase is a top-five quarterback play (Joe Burrow), and Jamar Chase is a must-start wide receiver against Baltimore.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

NegativeProjection72:38

In a start/sit comparison in PPR, panelists preferred Jeremy Bernard over Jamison Williams, indicating Williams is not the preferred start option for the week.

Insight page

Jared Goff

PositiveProjection72:45

In a start/sit comparison, panelists preferred Jared Goff over Tyler Shuck, indicating Goff is the preferred quarterback option for the week.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

PositiveProjection68:33

Warren is rated as a must-start running back and borderline top-12 option for Week 7, reflecting strong conviction on his performance.

Insight page
PositiveRole71:12

Warren is one of only two players the source is comfortably starting in the Saints-Steelers game, indicating strong confidence in his role and production despite the overall weakness of the matchup.

Insight page
PositiveRole71:22

Warren and Saquon Barkley are identified as the only two guys the source is comfortably putting in their start lineup, indicating both are must-start caliber for the week.

Insight page
NegativeProjection72:05

Warren is not a confident start in the Saints-Steelers game; the source expresses lack of confidence in Steelers receivers and running backs outside of Jalen Warren and Chris Olave.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

NegativeInjury26:43

Missed practice this week, raising availability concerns for Week 7.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

PositiveDepth Chart27:00

Designated to return from IR, giving him 21 days to be activated; signals potential return to action in the coming weeks.

Insight page

Jordan Addison

PositiveInjury27:07

Expected to play in Week 7 after injury concerns.

Insight page

Jordan Love

NegativeInjury26:07

Limited in practice but says he'll play in Week 7.

Insight page

Jordan Mason

PositiveInjury26:26

Practiced in full this week, clearing the way for his availability in Week 7.

Insight page

Jordyn Tyson

NegativeInjury27:44

Did not practice this week; team has bye next week, so limited opportunity to return before extended break.

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

NegativeRole71:25

The source expresses lack of confidence in Jawan Johnson as a starter or borderline starter, grouping him with other Steelers receivers and Shuck as players the source is not confident about for the week.

Insight page

Keenan Allen

NegativeProjection13:30

Allen is a player to avoid at Minnesota; source hates this situation; Vikings pass defense is incredible; Allen's entire game is based on receiving volume, but the Colts may not stay on the field enough to generate the volume he needs; currently ranked as WR37; has no upside in this game and floor is not very high; if forced to start as a number three receiver, it's not the end of the world but not ideal.

Insight page
PositiveInjury27:10

Missed practice but source expects him to be fine for Week 7.

Insight page

Kendre Miller

NegativeProjection16:00

Miller is a Saints running back to avoid against Pittsburgh; has 40 total touches over the last three games but has scored nine PPR points or less; source finds it tough to figure out which Saints running back is the better play and would like to avoid this situation entirely against the Steelers defense.

Insight page

Kirk Cousins

PositiveProjection10:00

Cousins is a top-12 quarterback who the source ranks higher than consensus; leads NFL in passing touchdowns with 14; averaging 260 pass yards per game (including Week 1 with only 170 yards in easy win vs. Dolphins); has produced well against several good defenses; source would start him over Caleb Williams and Tyler Shuck despite Rams being a very good defense.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

PositiveProjection6:25

Murray is a player the source loves this week; last game featured 51 rushing yards with potential for more consistent rushing production (teens in first two games); this is the first game with full complement of healthy weapons (Jordan Addison, Justin Jefferson, TJ Hawkinson all available); Colts have struggled against rushing quarterbacks (Lamar Jackson and Marcus Mariota both ran for 35 yards in Week 1), creating favorable matchup conditions.

Insight page
NegativeProjection70:46

Bernard has 21 targets in two games since Roman Wilson's finger injury, making him a must-start alongside Metcalf. The source indicates both are getting the job done consistently.

Insight page
PositiveProjection71:53

In a head-to-head start/sit comparison, one panelist preferred Kyler Murray over Aaron Rodgers for the week.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

NegativeInjury26:10

Limited in practice and apparently limping; source assumes he will not play in Week 7 given the injury status and the fact that Cincinnati opened as a one-point favorite over Baltimore (down from Baltimore being a 3.5-point favorite), suggesting the market is pricing in Jackson's absence.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

NegativeProjection23:48

Moved down a couple spots in rankings following JJ McCarthy's start for the Giants; source notes he was probably too high to begin with, though McCarthy's performance against the Saints and the Giants' design of their offense around read options and run game (similar to Jackson Dart's system) may help Nabors.

Insight page
PositiveProjection59:01

Nabers is a must-start wide receiver for the Giants against Houston.

Insight page

Mark Andrews

NegativeProjection55:56

Andrews is a sit despite Baltimore's poor defense against tight ends (no receiving TDs allowed yet); the source questions if Andrews is even capable anymore and notes this is National Tight Ends Day. The Ravens' decision to pay Andrews over Isaiah Likely is viewed as a bigger travesty than Seattle letting Ken Walker walk for Rashid Shahid.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

PositiveUsage64:18

Only ran 26% of routes in recent game; source is hopeful he gets more involved in Week 7 against Texans; positioned as a player to target despite crowded Cardinals receiving corps with Tank Dell, Nico Collins, and Dalton Schultz all competing for targets.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper65:05

The source recommends stashing Harrison despite not starting him this week, citing that he has the highest ceiling among Houston's returning receivers (ahead of Jalen Knoll and Tank Dell) and warrants bench roster spots for upside.

Insight page

Matthew Golden

NegativeInjury26:52

Limited in practice; source assumes he's fine for Week 7.

Insight page
NegativeInjury27:36

Limited in practice but source assumes he's fine for Week 7.

Insight page

Michael Mayer

NegativeProjection72:32

In a start/sit comparison in PPR, a panelist preferred Jawan Johnson over Michael Mayer, indicating Mayer is not the preferred tight end option for the week.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

NegativeProjection15:00

Wilson is a player to avoid against Denver; has gotten worse since Marvin Harrison left; Sertan was reported to be more likely for Week 8 return; Broncos defense is still really good and will be rested after playing last Thursday; source expects Wilson to struggle once again; must-start in three-receiver leagues but otherwise avoidable.

Insight page

Mike Evans

NegativeInjury27:24

Not expected to play in Week 7.

Insight page

Nico Collins

PositiveProjection59:01

Collins is a must-start wide receiver for Houston against the Giants; Travis Hunter shadowed him last week and did a very good job, but Collins remains a top target.

Insight page
PositiveRole65:02

Collins remains the alpha receiver in Houston's offense, though the source questions whether he will maintain dominant alpha status as Marvin Harrison and Tank Dell return from injury and increase their involvement in the offense.

Insight page
NegativeRole65:02

Still a stud and the alpha receiver in Texans offense, but role clarity uncertain with Tank Dell now added to the mix and Dalton Schultz (6 targets last week) also competing; question remains whether Collins will remain the dominant alpha or see reduced target share.

Insight page

Ollie Gordon II

PositiveUsage32:54

Averaging more yards per carry than Jameer Gibbs this year. Source says you've got to start him, indicating strong starter status despite the comparison.

Insight page

Pat Freiermuth

NegativeProjection70:51

Freiermuth ranked 8th by Heath, 13th/11th/11th by Jamie, and 22nd by Dave; low-end starter. Saints allow the sixth-most fantasy points to tight ends, which may support his appeal. However, he's had more than five targets only once this year, raising concerns about volume despite the favorable matchup.

Insight page
NegativeRole71:47

Friermuth hasn't been getting a lot of targets recently; he scored 10–11 PPR points in two of his last three games. He was on the injury report last week, and the source expects hyper-targeted games for the other two tight ends (likely referring to Jawan Johnson and another option). The source hopes for a more equal distribution of targets going forward but does not consider him a slam dunk start.

Insight page

Patrick Mahomes

NegativeProjection15:30

Mahomes is a player to avoid at Seattle Sunday night; Rashee Rice did not practice on Wednesday; Kenneth Walker will get a lot of work; Mahomes doesn't have a high ceiling in this game; Seattle pass defense has been very good, with only two quarterbacks scoring over 20 fantasy points against them (Brock Purdy and Marcus Mariota); source doesn't think Mahomes will have a big game.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup43:11

The source does not want to start Mahomes this week; in multiple start-sit comparisons, Mahomes is benched in favor of Geno Smith, Jacoby Brissett, Kyler Murray, and Brock Purdy, indicating a poor matchup or performance outlook.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

PositiveInjury26:33

Todd Monken is optimistic about Quinshawn Judkins playing this week, signaling likely availability for Week 7.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

NegativeInjury27:10

Missed practice; status uncertain heading into Week 7.

Insight page
NegativeUsage27:39

One of the Dolphins' top three receivers; hasn't been on the field at the same time as the other top receivers (Caleb Douglas and another) yet this season.

Insight page

Rashod Bateman

PositiveInjury27:40

Limited in practice; source characterizes this as good news for his availability.

Insight page
NegativeProjection54:54

The source is not great on Bateman; secondary pieces in the Ravens passing game are not safe or fun to start until Lamar Jackson returns.

Insight page

Roschon Johnson

PositiveProjection9:00

Johnson is a high-end flex play, borderline RB2 in Heath's projections; comparable to Ramondre Stevenson and Josh Jacobs; expected to receive 10-15 touches in Bears run offense; has 40% snap share, playing every other drive, similar role to Kyle Monongai; had a fantastic game last week and five catches the game before; matchup against Patriots run defense favors Chicago's run game.

Insight page

Sam LaPorta

NegativeRole28:16

Seeking contract extension; off-field situation may affect focus or role.

Insight page

Samaje Perine

NegativeRole47:27

Pirine is viewed as a fine flex but not a good flex; the source is more confident in Roshon Johnson's role consistency and would rather speculate on Pirine than Johnson only because Kyle Menonga is expected to return soon for the Bears. Pirine is closer to Emmanuel Wilson in rankings and likely needs a touchdown to matter in fantasy.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

PositiveInjury68:13

Barkley is expected to play in Week 7, clearing him for lineup consideration.

Insight page
PositiveRole71:22

Barkley and Jalen Warren are identified as the only two guys the source is comfortably putting in their start lineup, indicating both are must-start caliber for the week.

Insight page

Sean Tucker

PositiveInjury26:55

Practiced in full this week, clearing the way for his availability in Week 7.

Insight page

Tank Dell

NegativeRole65:02

Now added to Texans receiving mix; unclear whether he will get just a few shots or become a regular part of the offense; competing with Nico Collins, Marvin Harrison Jr., Dalton Schultz, and Jalen Knoll for targets.

Insight page
NegativeRole65:50

Tank Dell is returning from IR and had huge success before injury, but the source expects him to have a limited role in his first game back, making him difficult to play despite recent stashing; owners may regret dropping him but cannot realistically start him immediately.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

PositiveProjection47:27

Higgins is a must-start despite coming into the Miami game with an adductor injury and posting only four targets in a terrible game; the source hopes he wasn't healthy last game and views him similarly to Jake Ferguson and Mark Andrews at this point.

Insight page
NegativeRole71:25

The source expresses lack of confidence in Steelers receivers, grouping Higgins with Jawan Johnson, Rodgers, and Shuck as players the source is not confident about for the week.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

NegativeInjury27:56

Played through an ankle injury sustained in the first quarter against the Chargers last week; will be on injury report and was limited in practice, but source expects him to play in Week 7.

Insight page
PositiveProjection29:20

Source would start him in Kansas City at Seattle matchup if he's a full go; however, expresses disappointment in his recent performance. Seahawks rank third-worst against tight ends, but recent tight end performances against them have been underwhelming: Trey McBride had 8 catches for 41 yards and a TD on 10 targets; George Kittle had 5 for 24 on 6 targets. Source still ranks Kelce top 12 for the week.

Insight page
PositiveProjection71:49

Kelce is still preferred over Freiermuth in a head-to-head comparison, though the gap is narrowing; Freiermuth is getting closer to Kelce's tier.

Insight page
PositiveProjection72:54

In a start/sit comparison, panelists preferred Travis Kelce over Pat Friermuth, noting that while the matchup is close, Kelce is still the preferred tight end option for the week.

Insight page

Tre Tucker

NegativeProjection67:50

Tucker is not recommended as a start despite recent 80-yard performance; the source notes a pattern where Tucker follows 80-yard games with poor performances, with only one exception when he caught a touchdown. The Rams have allowed more than 50 yards to one wide receiver, but this does not overcome Tucker's historical regression pattern.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

NegativeInjury28:40

Missed last week's game and did not practice on Wednesday; status uncertain for Week 7.

Insight page

Tyrone Tracy

PositiveBreakout60:00

Tracy just had his best game with two touchdowns and is being stashed in multiple leagues; the source would start Tracy over Skadaboo and leans more on Tracy if banking on hope. ESPN's Dan Graziano reported the Giants are either looking to acquire a running back or give Tracy a bigger workload, creating ambiguity but upside potential.

Insight page
NegativeProjection61:50

Touchdown odds are below 10% in Week 7 matchup against Texans due to low implied point total and unclear lead-back role; would need to be named the lead guy to crack top 35 rankings, currently outside top 40.

Insight page

Woody Marks

PositiveProjection30:25

High-end RB2 per Sportsline; facing Houston (Giants at Houston matchup). George Orton on practice squad injured reserve means Daria Gumbawale will backup, potentially cutting into Marks' passing game work slightly, but he might have 20 carries. Giants have allowed 12.5+ PPR fantasy points to a running back in every game, including against Ja'Cory Krosky-Meritt, Tyler Algier, and Alvin Kamara. Marks had four games last year with 16-19 carries and single-digit PPR points, but this is a better offense in a great matchup. Start him.

Insight page
PositiveProjection59:01

Marks is an RB2 and must-start running back for Houston against the Giants; discussed at the top of the show as a key play.

Insight page
PositiveRole63:54

Source expresses excitement about Woody Marks in Week 7 matchup, positioning him as a player to target despite concerns about Giants running back situation and Texans' strong run defense.

Insight page
PositiveProjection67:22

Marks is preferred over J.K. Dobbins in a start-sit comparison, and is the recommended start when choosing between Chase Brown, Ashton Gentry, and Marks (sit Marks implies he's the third choice, but he's favored over Dobbins); ranking assumes David Montgomery does not play.

Insight page

Xavier Worthy

PositiveProjection44:24

Worthy was good last week and is featured in multiple start-sit comparisons; the source has him in some lineups and prefers him over Pop Douglas and Doons Day, though Keenan Allen and Boston are preferred in other matchups.

Insight page

Zach Charbonnet

NegativeProjection12:30

Charbonnet is a player to avoid Sunday night against Kansas City; coming back from ACL injury, likely earlier than expected; may eventually be the lead running back but will be sharing carries this week; facing a projected low-scoring game against the Chiefs; likely to have rust to shake off and won't be hyper-efficient; source would rather start Roshon Johnson.

Insight page
PositiveInjury26:45

Practiced in full this week, clearing the way for his availability in Week 7.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

PositiveProjection52:11

Flowers is a must-start wide receiver and top-15 WR for the source; with Tyler Huntley at QB, she had 14.6 and 12.7 fantasy points in two games (no touchdowns), making her a reliable target. DJ Turner shadowed her in both games but couldn't replicate her success; she had a touchdown called back on an offensive pass interference penalty in one game and dropped a touchdown in the other.

2:36AFC home games mostly. Kansas City at Seattle. It's not an AFC home game, I promise.
2:41Most of them are Cincinnati at Baltimore. Giants at Houston.
2:44Pittsburgh at New Orleans in Paris. Miami is at the Jets.
2:47The Rams are at the Raiders. Cleveland is at Tennessee.
2:50The game we've all been waiting for. Good morning, Jamie.
2:54Good morning. Good morning, Heath. Hey, Adam. Heath, I love what you're doing today.
2:58You're being risky with the players you love. Well, you know, I thought that instead of just giving guys that I viewed
3:05as must-starts, I should talk about some guys that I'm higher on than anybody else, and I think some of them are
3:12from games that we're not talking about today, so that'll be good.
3:16Oh, okay. Perfect, yeah. And, yeah, all right, we'll get into it.
3:20I mean, I feel like I needed to add something extra to the show because you made your, like, importance really shown
3:27yesterday and why you make this show so great.
3:29And so I'm trying to up my game a little bit.
3:33Just want everyone to know. Well, it's not true about my socks, but my clothing today is completely intact.
3:39My socks have plenty of holes in them, unfortunately.
3:42You got to show it now. The socks? Did you sleep in the clothes you were wearing?
3:47I don't really think that's relevant, if we're being honest.
3:50That's the hoodie. You slept in the hoodie that you said you sleep in.
3:55I did. It's a different hoodie, but, yes, I did sleep in this hoodie.
3:59Can we see? Come on, man. Nobody wants to see your socks.
4:03What? That's not a hole. That's a crater. I don't know.
4:06It happened yesterday. I don't know. We got a busy show.
4:10This is disgusting. That happened yesterday, and you're still wearing them?
4:13Let's get into the players we love brought to you by.
4:17Oh, my God. What? Let's show that again. If you knew how many of my socks had holes in them.
4:23That's not a hole. That's not a sock. What's up, everyone?
4:27This is a bit. You did this on purpose.
4:30No, I didn't. I didn't. Dude. Let's get into the players we love.
4:34I'm sending you socks right now. That's horrible. I've been talking to my wife about, I got to order socks.
4:40I got to order socks, and I never do.
4:43I never do. It's funny you say that, because I just went.
4:47I had to get my son cleats, and my wife was like, oh, can you get me some socks?
4:53Because she needs some socks. I'm like, you know, I probably need some socks, too.
4:57So I bought socks. I'm just going to order you socks.
5:01Okay. Can you do bombas? I like bombas. Bombas are the best.
5:05That's a good point from Tony. Like, you might be warmer in your house if you just wore clothing that didn't have holes in them.
5:13That's incredible. I didn't really wear them that much yesterday.
5:16All right. Anyway, let's get into players we love.
5:19That's not a hole. Brought to you by Stitch Fix.
5:22If you're like me, and clothes shopping isn't your thing, Stitch Fix has you covered.
5:27Get styled today at stitchfix.com slash football. Jamie, give me players you love this week.
5:31Braylon Allen, baby. Let's go. Bombas, Nike. Whatever socks.
5:34Please send this man some socks. Oh, my gosh.
5:37You got to have GoFundMe set up for this.
5:40Anyway. Yeah. Braylon Allen, you know, the two L's in his name look like two socks.
5:45Yeah. He's hopefully going to be the starter for the Jets from the standpoint of I made him the start of the week.
5:52So that could change, obviously, if Brees Hall plays.
5:55Didn't practice on Wednesday. But, you know, Allen's in a great spot.
5:59Dolphins third worst in terms of most fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs.
6:03He's 12.4 points or more each of his last two games.
6:07So should have an opportunity for another strong performance here.
6:10And, again, just keep an eye on the news, and we'll see if Brees Hall plays.
6:15It's going to be very interesting to see what they do with Hall and Allen.
6:20We've been talking about this now for a couple weeks.
6:23Once Brees Hall is healthy, Aaron Glenn kind of said, you know, Brees is our guy.
6:28But I can't imagine that they're going to, you know, limit Braylon Allen to just a backup role or not giving him
6:35maybe 30 to 40 percent of the touches just because he's been so good.
6:39So hopefully that will continue. All right. Kyler Murray is another guy you like.
6:44So you have Braylon Allen, Kyler Murray, and Steelers wide receivers at New Orleans.
6:48Yeah, so Kyler, last time we saw him, 51 rushing yards.
6:52Hopefully that's going to be something that's a little bit more consistent for him.
6:56Not necessarily 51, but he was in the teens in the first two games that he played.
7:02This will be the first time that he has his full complement of weapons because he has not played a full game
7:09yet with both – with all three of – excuse me, Jordan Addison, Justin Jefferson, and TJ Hawkinson.
7:14Everybody's seemingly healthy going into this week. It's a great matchup, as we know.
7:19The Colts, not exactly the best in terms of stopping quarterbacks.
7:22And they've struggled a little bit with some rushing quarterbacks.
7:25Lamar Jackson in week one and Marcus Mariota. Both those guys ran for 35 yards.
7:30So hopefully that will be something for Kyler Murray once again.
7:34And then the last time, obviously, we saw the two Steelers guys, it was fantastic for Jeremy Bernard and DK Metcalf.
7:40Jeff, Sauce Gardner may play dealing with a Cavaliers, but their secondary may be a little bit weaker.
7:46But I think we're going to see another game where – not to the same degree of targets.
7:52Both guys were north of 11 targets. I don't think that will continue.
7:56A guy that Heath likes is going to be involved as well in Pat Friermuth.
8:01But I think we're going to get another strong performance from Aaron Rodgers throwing the ball against his Saints secondary.
8:07You've mentioned Sauce Gardner there. Why? Is it me on?
8:10Sorry, why was I thinking of the Colts? Excuse me.
8:13The Saints are not exactly the best. I'm all for an all-time.
8:17You were thinking of the Colts because of Kyler Murray.
8:20No, no. Yeah, yeah. Probably. But in the case of the Saints, their secondary is obviously not great.
8:26They've given up a lot of production to opposing wide receivers.
8:29And I just want to have it. There's one of my favorite stats for the week.
8:35Let me get there. In regards to multiple receivers having success in the same game.
8:39Where is it? Oh, one time already this season.
8:42They've allowed multiple receivers to get 13.4 PPR points or more.
8:46So I think that'll be a good opportunity for both these guys to have success.
8:50Metcalf face in that picture looks like you just saw my sock.
8:54I'm actually trying to figure out if these are small or medium.
8:58I'm going to order new socks like right now.
9:01All right. Heath, you're taking a different approach to this exercise this week.
9:05You're giving us some players that you're higher on than Dave and Jamie are.
9:09They're not must-start guys, but you like them more than consensus.
9:13Yeah. And I have them all ranked as starters if you are in a league that has a flex.
9:19So Roshon Johnson is a high, high-end flex for me.
9:22Really kind of a borderline RB2. I said to you before the show, I think he's very similar in my projections to Ramondre Stevenson and Josh Jacobs.
9:31I think you're going to get probably 10 to 15 touches.
9:34This Bears run offense. I think if you look at the matchup against the Patriots tonight, and the Bears run offense against
9:41the Patriots run defense, the Bears pass offense against the Patriots pass defense, I think the matchup is better for the run offense for the Chicago Bears.
9:50Roshon had a fantastic game last week, had five catches the game before.
9:54He's had almost exactly the same role as Kyle Monongai, 40% snap share, playing every other drive.
9:59A very good flex, maybe an RB2. I hate the fact that I have to make the Roshon-Josh Jacobs decision in multiple
10:06leagues, and I'm probably just going to split it.
10:09Kirk Cousins against the Rams. The Rams defense is very good.
10:12Kirk Cousins has played several good defenses and produced a lot of fantasy points against most of them.
10:18This is a guy who leads the NFL in passing touchdowns with 14.
10:22I think he's tied with someone, but I don't know who it is.
10:26Averaging 260 pass yards per game, and that includes week one when he only threw for 170 yards and an easy win against the Dolphins.
10:34I think Kirk Cousins is just a top 12 quarterback.
10:37I would start him over Caleb Williams tonight, which seems insane to some people, but I'd also start him over Tyler Shuck,
10:44who I'm going to talk about in just a moment.
10:48And then Pat Fryermuth last week was a big letdown.
10:51I think we get a big bounce back. Remember, he was placed on the injury report at the very end of the
10:58week with that tight calf, and I was very encouraged to see that he was a full participant in their most recent practice, not on the injury report.
11:07Pat Fryermuth should be a full go. Aaron Rodgers should have a great day, and I like his chances of getting into the end zone.
11:14I'm starting him over Colston Loveland and Kyle Pitts.
11:17You know what Sunday is, right? Oh, it is national.
11:21Oh, it's national tight end day. And Todd, listen to this, dude.
11:24It's Friday with birthday. A guy named Todd at fantasyfootballatcbsi.com.
11:27It is also Pat Fryermuth's birthday on Sunday. Oh, my gosh.
11:31Yeah, he turns 28. I'm too low. You know what would be even better?
11:35What? If he was from Paris. That would be great, or if he bought me some socks.
11:41All right, so thank you to Stitch Fix for sponsoring today's Players We Love.
11:45Stitch Fix takes the hassle out of clothes shopping.
11:48Just take a quick style quiz, share your size, your vibe, and your budget, and you'll be matched with a real human
11:55stylist who will send you a first fix with clothes that fit and make sense for your life.
12:01So stop shopping and get style today at stitchfix.com slash football.
12:04That's stitchfix.com slash football. Johnny, with another note we missed, Sundays also change your sock day at Adams House.
12:10Yeah, once a week. He does that once a week.
12:13Yeah. I think that— That's not a sock. I played tennis in all these socks, and I think I need separate socks
12:20for tennis because I think I've basically ripped, like, all of my socks.
12:25It's pretty bad. Players to avoid, Heath. So we're looking at Zach Charbonnet Sunday night against Kansas City.
12:30Keenan Allen, the red-hot Keenan Allen at Minnesota, and Colson Loveland tonight.
12:34Yeah, Charbonnet is— Listen, coming back from the ACL, probably a little bit earlier than we expected.
12:39I think he's going to eventually be the lead running back for this offense.
12:44He might be the lead running back by a very small split this week against the Chiefs, but it's not a good matchup.
12:51It's a projected low-scoring game. He's going to be sharing, and he's probably got a lot of rust to shake off.
12:58I wouldn't expect him to be hyper-efficient in this game.
13:01I would much rather start Roshon Johnson, but I think I'm the only one that feels that way.
13:07You have to bring him off the pup, put him on your bench.
13:11You can start him in a week or two.
13:14Who were the other guys? Keenan Allen. I hate this situation.
13:17Maybe this is just me wishing it would change, but also it's the Vikings, and their pass defense is incredible.
13:23His whole game is based on the fact that he's going to get a bunch of targets, and I'm just not sure
13:30the Colts are going to be able to stay on the field enough, run enough plays, to be able to get him
13:37the volume he needs to be a good—he's wide receiver 37.
13:41If you have to start him as a number three, it's not the end of the world.
13:46But I don't think he has any upside at all in this game, and the floor is not very high either.
13:53Colston Loveland against the Patriots—we talked about this a little bit yesterday.
13:57They've been incredible against tight ends except for Brock Bowers, who scored 91% of his fantasy points this season not playing as an in-line tight end.
14:05Colston Loveland's about 50-50 in that regard. They've destroyed in-line tight ends.
14:09I am not super excited about the Bears' pass game, as I said earlier with Caleb, and so I don't want to start Loveland.
14:16Okay. So with Minnesota, we'll talk about this game tomorrow.
14:20I mean, there's just so few players that I'd ever want to start against Minnesota.
14:24Like, right? And Keenan Allen's not one of them?
14:27I mean, no. You know, no offense to him, but I just feel like Daniel Jones could get benched after this game
14:34because Minnesota's going to just humiliate him. He could get benched during this game.
14:39Yeah. Yeah, benched for who, though? Anthony Richardson. No.
14:41I don't think— Well, he's the QB2. It happened to his team.
14:45He's not going to go to Anthony Richardson. Well, I don't know.
14:49This is going to be a tough day for any quarterback who's not, you know, like, cerebral against Minnesota.
14:55It's really tough. So— Hey, Daniel Jones went to Duke.
14:58He said, sit Zach Charbonnet, Keenan Allen, and Colston Loveland.
15:01Jamie's sitting Michael Wilson, Patrick Mahomes, and the Saints running backs.
15:05Michael Wilson against Denver. Probably— Now, we did get Sertan practicing yesterday, but it's the report— There was a report that said
15:12more likely for week eight for Sertan. Mahomes at Seattle Sunday night.
15:16Saints running backs against Pittsburgh. Yeah, I mean, Wilson's gotten worse since Marvin Harrison left, and it's hard to trust him just as a must-start guy.
15:24Clearly, you're going to still start him in three receiver leagues, but—unless you're Sportsline, which is just completely out at this point.
15:31So we'll see what happens with Sertan. I think if Sertan does play where Sportsline has him ranked, which is 40th, it's
15:38probably closer to where I'll have him right now.
15:41Right now, he's 30. But it's just been frustrating to watch that Jacoby Brissett is not exactly featuring him to the same level.
15:48And when I say that, we saw last year—we saw it in one game this year when Harrison was still on the team—double-digit targets.
15:56So it just hasn't been easy for this Cardinals passing attack, and I think just the lack of a run game once again has sort of limited them.
16:04So coming off a game against the Rams, that's still a really good defense.
16:09I know that they were beat up in that game.
16:12Broncos' defense is still really good. They're going to be rested after playing last Thursday for the previous week.
16:18So I think we'll see a situation where Michael Wilson struggles once again.
16:22Mahomes, Rashi Rice did not practice on Wednesday. We saw what that looked like a little bit last week.
16:28It's the Kenneth Walker show. He's facing Seattle. He's going to get a lot of work.
16:33I just don't think Mahomes has a high ceiling in this game.
16:37We know that Seattle's pass defense has been very good for the most part.
16:41Only two quarterbacks over 20 fantasy points against them.
16:44Brock Purdy was one, and he got the surprise from Marcus Mariota.
16:48So I don't think Mahomes has a big game here.
16:51And then for the Saints, it's just trying to trust these guys against the Steelers' defense.
16:56Kamara has scored three touchdowns, which has saved him two rushing touchdowns in the first game that Travis Achan missed, the receiving touchdown last week against the Giants.
17:05He's basically been 12 total touches or less in each of the last three games.
17:10Meanwhile, Kendra Miller has 40 total touches over that span and has scored nine PPR points or less.
17:16So it was just tough to figure out which is going to be the better of the two.
17:21I would like to avoid this situation, if possible, taking on the Spitsburg defense.
17:26Okay. So just to recap, players we love. For Jamie, it was Braylon Allen.
17:30He's the start of the week. Kyler Murray, Steelers wide receivers.
17:34For Heath, it was lower end guys. They're playing the Colts, right?
17:38The Steelers? What's that? The Colts are playing the Steelers.
17:41Steelers out to Saints in Paris. Roshon Johnson for Heath.
17:44Kirk Cousins and Pat Fryer with lower end guys.
17:47And avoiding for Heath, Charbonnet, Keenan Allen, Colson Loveland.
17:50For Jamie, Michael Wilson, Patrick Mahomes and the Saints running backs.
17:53If you get a chance and you want to laugh at my expense even more, please check out NFL Play Action on Paramount+.
18:00Plus, it drops about 8 p.m. Eastern on when, well, I don't know about what times in the other time zones, but 8 p.m.
18:08in my time zone on Paramount+. And I did some exercising today or on yesterday's show and it was very fun.
18:15So check it out. If you're a Peloton person, Allie Love is the co-host of the show.
18:20And I know she's very popular in the Peloton community.
18:23Here's the ad of the day. Really mad at myself for not doing this.
18:28Jamie added Fernando Mendoza for $0 in our Superflex League.
18:31I thought that was brilliant, Jamie. And JJ McCarthy, by comparison, not to say this was a bad bid, $61.
18:37So I'd rather have Fernando Mendoza at $0. Good job.
18:40If you're in a Superflex League, just keep it in mind.
18:44Cousins has been a little shaky, completing 60% of his passes over his last three games.
18:49They've lost three in a row, I believe. So it could happen at some point.
18:54It's coming. I mean, it's just a matter of when it's happening.
18:57It's really more about the wins and losses. He's not playing poorly.
19:01No. Okay. No, that Mendoza. I didn't even realize Mendoza was available.
19:05It was a bad job by me. I added McCarthy and I already have three quarterbacks.
19:10But we're going to try to get a trade done today.
19:14Yeah. And just let's accept or reject my trade in the Eliminator League.
19:18I'm waiting to see Brees Hall's practice status today.
19:20All right. Fine. Let's, what if we, no. FFT Open, I have to tell you, if you're in the FFT Open, I
19:27have to get this off my chest. You forgot about this yesterday.
19:31Yes. And tell everybody because it's happened twice now.
19:34And I'm sorry if you're not in the FFT Open.
19:37There is a setting where you are required to have five bench players.
19:41If you don't have five players on your bench, you have an illegal lineup.
19:46And you score zero fantasy points. Twice this year, I've had people, or maybe three times, but at least twice I've had
19:53people email me or the league and say, I can't believe this happened.
19:57I got a zero because I didn't have enough players on my bench.
20:01They had someone in IR that they could have just put on their bench.
20:05So I went and I fixed their lineup. But you have to do this not Tuesday morning, not Monday night.
20:12You got to tell me on Sunday. And why do I have this setting to begin with?
20:17Because I don't want people to accidentally not carry enough people on their bench and not realize they had an open bench spot.
20:24So it's done to help you to make sure you have that you're rostering as many people as you're capable of rostering.
20:31I will never let people lose a week and get a zero because they didn't have enough players on their bench.
20:38I will fix that for you. But please, if you see any issue with your scoring, any issue, and you need my
20:45help, 36 leagues I'm the commissioner up. So help me out.
20:49Please don't wait until Monday night or Tuesday. Please tell me as soon as possible that there is an issue.
20:55Just message your league and I'll see it. I've never known a commissioner that creates more work for himself than you do.
21:02It's like you're constantly looking for ways to make it harder than it has to be.
21:07Look, man, I could be spending my time shopping for socks, but I'd rather help people in the FFT Open.
21:13All right, we'll be right back with your news and notes, one question for each game, and seven breakdowns of games after this.
21:21We recently took a trip to Kansas City to catch a football game.
21:25And we made a full weekend out of it.
21:28We spent some time exploring the city, made sure to get some classic Kansas City barbecue, and of course, headed to Arrowhead Stadium to take in the game.
21:36Between tailgating the crowd and the energy inside the stadium, it was an awesome experience.
21:41There's just something about a game weekend. Great food, great football, and getting to experience it all together made it a trip to remember.
21:49But while I was surrounded by fans taking in the atmosphere like I was, what hit me was just how many people
21:56were making a weekend out of it in Kansas City like I was, needing a place to hang their head after a night of tailgating and celebrating.
22:04For the local Kansas City folks or anyone who lives in a stadium city, football season is a perfect time to consider listing your space on Airbnb.

24:39Listen, it's a Thursday show, and we don't have time for a conversation about this, Adam, but I just want you to
24:46know the chat hates that rule, and I'm with the chat.
24:49What rule? That you have to have enough bench players on your team or your lineup's illegal.
24:54Well, that's the thing. It's like, it hardly ever is an issue, but I don't want, I've been in leagues, it's been
25:01a while, where I was like, oh, I can carry an extra bench player?
25:06I didn't realize that I wasn't at my roster maximum.
25:09I'm just trying to help people make sure that they max out their roster.
25:13So it's just a guideline, and it's so easy.
25:16You see this notification says you need a reserve.
25:19Just put someone in IR on your reserve or pick someone up.
25:23All right, news and notes. JJ McCarthy is starting for the Giants.
25:27Did that change your rankings of Isaiah Lightley or Malik Nabors?
25:30Moved Nabors down a couple spots, but he was probably too high to begin with, so hopefully it's not going to be a disaster for him.
25:38But it was, I thought he played fairly well.
25:41McCarthy did against the Saints and then helped Nabors as well.
25:45Also. And I think they're really doing it to try to boost the run game because he's more like Jackson Dart.
25:51They designed their offense around Jackson Dart, their run game around Jackson Dart with read options and things like that.
25:58So they can't run the ball. It seems like that was a big motivating factor.
26:03Baker Mayfield practiced in full this week. So yesterday, sorry, he might be in play.
26:07Jordan Love was limited, but he says he'll play.
26:10Lamar Jackson was limited and was apparently limping. So I'm assuming you guys are not expecting Jackson at this point.
26:16No. That game opened, I think, with Baltimore as a three and a half point favorite.
26:22Cincinnati is now a one point favorite. So that tells you what they're thinking.
26:26Jordan Mason practiced in full. Kyle Manonga is out.
26:29Todd Monkens optimistic about Dylan Sampson and Quinshawn Judkins playing this week.
26:33Jeremiah Love missed practice. Zach Charbonnet practiced in full.
26:35David Montgomery missed practice. Jawar Jordan's on IR. Sean Tucker practiced in full.
26:40Jonah Coleman was designated to return from IR. So he's got 21 days to be activated.
26:45And Brees Hall missed practice. Jordan Addison is expected to play.
26:48Emeka Abuka may not play. He's got a foot injury and a concussion.
26:52And they're at Carolina this week. A very big game there.
26:56Christian Watson and Matthew Golden were limited. I'm assuming they're fine.
26:59Caleb Douglas could be on his way back this week for the Dolphins.
27:03We haven't really seen all three of the top receivers for the Dolphins on the field at the same time.
27:10Rasheed, pardon me, Rasheed Rice missed practice. Keenan Allen missed practice.
27:13He should be fine. Christian Kirk practiced in full.
27:16Mike Evans is not expected to play. And Debo Samuel missed practice.
27:20So Christian Kirk is a guy that you might want to pick up.
27:24Adonai Mitchell was limited in practice. Denzel Boston and Casey Concepcion were limited.
27:28I assume they're okay. Rashad Bateman was limited. That's good news for him.
27:32Jordan Tyson not going to practice this week. And then they have a bye next week.
27:37Maybe he starts practicing at some point. TJ Hawkinson practiced.
27:40Travis Kelsey, I didn't realize he played through an ankle injury.
27:44He hurt his ankle in the first quarter against the Chargers last week.
27:48So he'll be on the injury report. I think he was limited yesterday.
27:52He should play, but he's got an ankle thing going on.
27:56Sam Laporte is pissed off. He wants a contract extension.
27:59Dalton Schultz missed practice. And that's actually one where it may not just be a Wednesday thing.
28:04I'm assuming Schultz will play, but we'll keep an eye on it.
28:08Brock Bowers was limited with hamstring and calf issues.
28:11The fact that he was limited is a good sign.
28:14Tyler Warren missed last week and did not practice on Wednesday.
28:17The big offensive line stuff, other than the Patriots being depleted tonight, we've got the Giants.
28:23Three offensive tackles. The two starters and the top backup all missed practice.
28:27I would say definitely their right tackle. He missed last week's game.
28:30I think Andrew Thomas will play, but keep an eye on the Giants.
28:35The Vikings getting healthier with Christian Derisaw on his way back.
28:38The Lions are getting their center Cade Mays back.
28:41The Bucs might be without right tackle Luke Gedeke.
28:44On defense, also the Giants. The Giants could be without their starting cornerback and safety because they're both in the concussion protocol.
28:51The Colts' top two cornerbacks both mispracticed yesterday. The Texans had a lot of guys on the injury report yesterday.
28:57We're definitely going to have to keep an eye on that.
29:01We'll talk about it as we preview the game.
29:03And big news for the Lions. They're getting their safety Brian Branch back this week.
29:08That's huge. We had a comment about my rule, my roster rule.
29:12Someone said even Azar's roster rule has a hole in it.
29:15That's very funny. All right. One question for each game.
29:19Heath, Kansas City's at Seattle. Would you start anyone other than the two obvious guys, JSN, and Kenneth Walker in this game?
29:26I'm probably starting Travis Kelsey if he's a full go.
29:29Oh, man. I'm so disappointed in him. And the Seahawks' third best against tight ends.
29:34Trey McBride had eight catches for 41 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets.
29:38Not exactly a great game. George Kittle had five for 24 on six targets.
29:42So, I mean, is he top 12 for you?
29:45Yeah, he's top 12. Okay. I'm not so excited.
29:48Cincinnati's at Baltimore. Jamie, start or sit? Chase Brown.
29:51Still starting him. You know, this is, I think, one of these guys that you still start by default with the hope
29:58that he's coming off a bye weekend is going to have a productive game.
30:02You know, this Ravens run defense, we've, you know, seen some hit or misses against them.
30:07So, I don't think it's one that you say, oh, my God, you can't play anyone against them.
30:13But you like to see involvement in the passing game.
30:16I think that's always big for Chase Brown and not a lot of work for Samaj AP right.
30:22Okay. But he's not ranked where he normally is.
30:25He's about 15th for everybody, Chase Brown. Facing Baltimore, who has a pretty good run defense.
30:30The Giants are at Houston. Am I crazy, Heath?
30:33I love Woody Marks. I'm fired. Yeah, I almost used, if I hadn't gone with the new theme, I would have said
30:40Woody Marks for the player that I love, but Dave loves him more.
30:44Sportsline loves him more. He's a high-end RB2. George Orton's now on something called practice squad injured reserve that I don't think I've ever heard of before.
30:52But he's not going to play. So, it'll be Daria Gumbawale, I guess, and Woody Marks, which may cut into his work
30:59in the passing game just a little bit. But he might have 20 carries.
31:04This is a great matchup for running backs. Start him.
31:07It's interesting that it's going to be a Gumbawale, because a Gumbawale has barely been playing.
31:12I mean, Woody Marks is running like 60% of the routes, which is cool.
31:16But who else is... I don't know if they have any other running backs available.
31:21No, it's just a good point. I didn't really think about that.
31:25It might take away some of the passing down stuff.
31:28But you get carries against the Giants, and they've allowed 12.5 or more PPR fantasy points to a running back in every
31:35game, including Ja'Cory Krosky-Meritt and Tyler Algier and Alvin Kamara.
31:38But Woody Marks, he did have four games last year with 16 to 19 carries.
31:43And single-digit PPR fantasy points. It's a better offense, though.
31:46It is, and it's a great matchup. So we're looking forward to Woody Marks.
31:51Woody Marks or Chase Brown? Chase Brown. Okay. Pittsburgh's at New Orleans.
31:54Jamie, Aaron Rodgers or Tyler Shuck? Aaron Rodgers. Shuck makes me nervous this week, just given the fact that he's underperformed the
32:01last couple of games and really kind of coincides with breaking his left hand.
32:06I don't know how much of that is impacting him just as an overall player.
32:11Now, granted, last week he gave you four total touchdowns, so take that into account.
32:15But that was against the Giants. This is a much tougher defense against the Steelers, and I just think Shuck is going to struggle a little bit.
32:24Yeah, he did not play nearly as well as 33 fantasy points would indicate against the Giants.
32:2916 to 30 passing. His completions have been a little bit off the last couple of weeks.
32:35I thought he was plagued a little bit by drops last week, but not to the effect that it should have been that much better.
32:43And for Rodgers, look, it's four straight games of 20 or more fantasy points.
32:47The Saints, three of their last four games, the quarterback group has been over 24 fantasy points, I believe it is, with
32:54what the Giants combined to do last week. So Rodgers, I just feel like, is in a great spot.
33:00Okay. Both guys, I think, probably didn't perform as well as their fantasy points last week because Rodgers had a lot of,
33:07he had like eight points in overtime. Uh, Miami's at the Jets.
33:11We know that Jamie loves, uh, Braylon Allen Heath, but what about Ollie Gordon averaging more yards per carry than Jameer Gibbs this year?
33:18Starter set. You've got to start him. Um, I don't actually like it, but I think that there are like 15 good
33:25starting running backs this week and Woody, if you want to count him, make 16 and Ollie, if you want to count him, make 17.
33:33But, um, we're, that's just kind of where we are.
33:37He's dominating touches and the dolphins backfield. This, this game doesn't look like, and again, we've had a lot of dolphins games
33:43that the odds have said, we're going to be blowouts that they've kept it within a score.
33:49I think they probably keep this one within a score too.
33:52So he's probably going to have 16 or more touches.
33:56Rams are at the Raiders. Let's talk tight ends.
33:58Jamie, Michael Mayer or Tyler Higbee? I would go Higbee.
34:02Uh, but it's close. Um, you know, the Rams, as we discussed yesterday, this is the, the, this is the Raiders true tight end, you know?
34:10And so I think this is the guy that gets, you know, the, the tougher coverage, uh, by comparison.
34:16And I say that with Trent McDuffie probably not playing cause that would be what I think the Rams would do is put McDuffie on Bowers.
34:24Uh, but Mayer has been awesome in three of his last four games, uh, coinciding, uh, ironically enough with Bowers returning 12.2
34:31PPR brought some more in three of those games.
34:34Uh, but we've seen, this is the team that has allowed the fewest receiving yards to tight ends so far this season.
34:41They've done a great job on some big name guys, Isaiah likely George Kittle.
34:45Um, they felt, they held training bride and check for what he typically does.
34:50So I think Mayer is going to struggle a little bit now.
34:53Does that mean Higbee is the best tight end for the Rams?
34:57I could not tell you. I think we'll see both of them be significantly involved without Devante Adams, but I still would lean Higbee over Parkinson.
35:06So I would rank the non Bowers tight ends in this game.
35:09Higbee, Mayer, Parkinson. I agree. I think, um, there's a pretty big, it's all, it's almost like Higbee and Parkinson aren't playing
35:16the same position right now because Higbee is lining up more in the, uh, either in the slot or outside and getting targeted more downfield.
35:24Parkinson, everything was really close to the line of scrimmage.
35:27So he needs a lot of targets to even be okay.
35:31I think you got to treat Parkinson. It's almost similar to the, the, the Raider situation.
35:36Higbee is going to be until Ferguson returns more of the Devante Adams replacement.
35:40He is not going to be Devante Adams, but he is going to be more of the receiving option of the tight end group.
35:48Yeah. Yeah. He has, he's had one game with a target share over 13% so far Higbee, but you know, we, this is a big opportunity for him.
35:57And remember in weeks to Terrence week to Terrence Ferguson was great without Puka week three, Tyler Higbee was great without Puka,
36:04but that was a game where Stafford threw 54 passes or something like that.
36:08Cleveland's at Tennessee. Who's the best flex option in this game?
36:12Heath, we have a lot of guys that are, I think kind of on the, okay.
36:17Who's second best. Let's say Judkins plays. It's probably Judkins.
36:20He's very, very close in full PPR to Wandale for me.
36:23I'll be interested to see what the split is between Judkins and Samson and Samson's first game back.
36:29And most importantly, where the targets go, because this team has thrown to their running backs a lot more than I expected this year.
36:37Is Samson in the Raheem Sanders role? Does Judkins have five targets this week?
36:41I think that'll kind of be the key. So I would go Tate.
36:45Then Judkins just barely over Robinson. We're going to do a quick team name Thursday before we get into the game from the Gridiron Guru.
36:53And this is for Jamie. What's the schmata with you?
36:56Yeah, I'm still trying to figure that out too.
36:59Kansas City's at Seattle. Let's do this here. Sunday night football, big game.
37:03Hakuna mashmata. Okay, Kansas City's, this is incredible stat.
37:06Incredible stat. Patrick Mahomes, I believe True Media defines a deep ball as a, passive 20 or more air yards.
37:13Patrick Mahomes did not throw a deep ball last week for the first time in his career.
37:18In any game that he didn't leave early with an injury, he did not throw a deep ball in a game.
37:25His ADOT, his air yards per target was something like 3.6 yards, which would make Bo Nix look like, I don't know, Jameis Winston.
37:32But it was a really boring offense. But also, he's not throwing that much.
37:37And that's what I wanted to explore. Why is Patrick Mahomes not throwing so much?
37:41Well, they are 25th in time of possession. That's not great.
37:45But the Chiefs are 24th in pass rate. And they've been top 11 in pass rate, eight straight seasons, top seven in pass attempts per game.
37:53In six straight seasons, right now they're 22nd in pass attempts per game.
37:57So, I mean, Heath, when you project Patrick Mahomes, are you projecting 30 pass attempts?
38:02He's only been above that once. That was a lot of words to say, Kenneth Walker is awesome.
38:08That's why that she, like if Kenneth Walker is going to get you six yards to carry, why would you throw the ball?
38:15And he doesn't have his deep threats in Taequann Thornton and Rashi Rice has been kind of a deeper threat this year.
38:22I've got him projected for 31 pass attempts. I have no interest in starting Patrick Mahomes.
38:27I don't really want to start Xavier Worthy. Um, I, this is a, probably a low scoring, ugly game and it's the, the ultimate revenge game.
38:35I mean, Kenneth Walker, his team chose to pay Rashid Shaheed instead of him after he won Superbowl MVP.
38:41Like, come on. Yeah. I will say that for the, for the chiefs and maybe it's not this week, but just think about going forward.
38:49They have faced some of the very worst defense offense offenses in football.
38:53They faced Denver, the Colts, the Dolphins, the Raiders, and the Chargers.
38:57I was going to say that because that's true.
39:00And last week was the most, I wouldn't call it cowardly.
39:03It was probably just smart, but Andy Reed basically just said, we're not going to lose this game.
39:09We're not going to take any chances. We're going to kick field goals when we can kick field goals.
39:15We're just going to like, there's no reason this team should be able to beat us.
39:20We are not going to lose. Okay. So that was a whole long winded thing of being like this passing game.
39:27Has it been great? Jamie, I think we want to get away from Mahomes.
39:31I saw a question in the chat. Mahomes or Baker Mayfield, if he plays.
39:36I'd probably still go to Mahomes, especially if a book is up.
39:40Okay. And then how do you feel about Xavier Worthy right now?
39:43Assuming Rashid Rice doesn't play Xavier Worthy with seven for 70 last week, I think.
39:48And how do you feel about him? Low in number three receiver.
39:52I would expect worse numbers against the Seahawks. Okay.
39:55So would you start, obviously you're going to start the Steelers guys over Xavier Worthy.
40:00Zach Charbonnet or Xavier Worthy? I think PPR Worthy makes more sense because he'll catch more passes, but wouldn't surprise me if Charbonnet is better.
40:07We talked about Travis Kelsey. He says he's a top 12 guy, but not like, oh, actually, do you still have him sixth?
40:15I think he's, I think I'm going to move now to seventh, but.
40:19Okay. I'm probably just starting him. More of a low end starter for, for Dave and Jamie, Travis Kelsey.
40:25He is 10th for Dave, 10th for Jave and 11th for Damie, whatever.
40:29All right. Sit Sam Darnold. Let's talk about the running backs in this game for Seattle.
40:34Jamie, what are your expectations this week? Or do we have, do we have any idea what to expect from the.
40:41No idea. I mean, it's, it's, it's tough. I still would expect Emmanuel Wilson to lead them in carries, but he's clearly going to lose work.
40:49As we saw last week, he lost work to Vilas Jones.
40:52He lost work to George Talani. So hopefully it's not three guys, you know, sharing the workload here.
40:58I'm going to guess any goal line opportunities go to Charbonnet.
41:02He's clearly been very successful in that score. 12 rushing touchdowns last year.
41:06We'll see what happens with who is going to be involved in the passing game.
41:10I mean, look, they still have to get Charbonnet going and up to speed.
41:15Granted, he's been practicing for three weeks. So that's a great sign.
41:19He's going to have, you know, even though coming off an injury, fresh legs.
41:23So it wouldn't be totally surprising if he's their best running back.
41:27I think you just got to treat them as flexes.
41:30Again, four teams on a bye, lots of injuries.
41:33I wouldn't want to start any of them with confidence, but if you are stuck, I have a couple of leagues where
41:40Emmanuel Wilson has been my number two running back for the last couple of weeks with Charbonnet on IR.
41:46I'm going to have a tough call to make if I'm going to ask, you know, which of the two that I'm going to start.
41:54I'd lean Charbonnet just because of the touchdown potential.
41:57But it's also a tough matchup. I mean, that's part of it.
42:01It's very tough. I mean, the Chiefs allow 3.3 yards per carry to running backs.
42:05And I think I also am going to have a Charbonnet-Emmanuel Wilson decision.
42:09And I also am going to lean Charbonnet, I think.
42:13But I'm hoping we get some reports. We usually do about these types of players and what they're expected.
42:19I got a billion questions about it too. Okay, great.
42:22So in the chat, you're saying? Yeah, I'm just going to Charbonnet or this, Charbonnet or that.
42:27Let's star all these Charbonnet questions here and we'll get to them.
42:31Let me just do some quick Mahomes stuff here.
42:34Would you rather start Patrick Mahomes at Seattle or Geno Smith against the Miami Dolphins?
42:39Geno. Geno. Jacoby Brissett against Denver or Mahomes? Mahomes.
42:41Mahomes. Ooh, this is a tough one for me.
42:44Penix or Mahomes? Penix. Mahomes for me. All right.
42:47And we like Kyler, I'm assuming, better than Mahomes.
42:50Ooh, not Heath. Oh, no. Yes. Yes, Heath. Kyler?
42:53Kyler? Yes. Yeah. Kyler over Mahomes. All right. Let's see what the chat has to say here.
42:58Charbonnet or a Minnesota running back against Indianapolis? Minnesota running back.
43:02Both of them? I would start. Mason's active. Yeah.
43:05I'd start them both. Mahomes or Purdy? Oh, Purdy by a mile.
43:08We don't want to start Mahomes this week. And I understand the questions about Purdy.
43:13He just played a very bad fantasy half of football without Mike Evans.
43:17But, like, they did nothing that half. But we're still starting them over Mahomes.
43:22Burden or Charbonnet or Judkins? Burden. Burden. Charbonnet or Blake Corum?
43:25This is one I'd go Charbonnet. I'd go Corum.
43:28I have Charbonnet. Can I drop Emmanuel Wilson? So this is where a lot of people run into a problem.
43:34Because if you're activating Charbonnet off of the pup list or off your IR spot in your fantasy league, you're going to have to drop somebody.
43:43And if Wilson is going to get phased out because Jadarian Price could return, I believe, next week.
43:48So we may not have use for Emmanuel Wilson very much going forward.
43:52So if that's the worst player on your team, then you could certainly go that route.
43:57My guess is Charbonnet is going to – when you look at it and everybody's healthy for Seattle, Emmanuel Wilson's probably not seen the field.
44:05And based on what Mike McDonald said last week, their head coach, it seems like Jadarian Price is trending toward returning in week eight.
44:13Woody Marks, Charbonnet, or Gordon? Woody. Woody Marks. Charbonnet or Bucky Irving?
44:17I'd go on Bucky Irving there. Yep. All right.
44:20Anything else from this game? I think just let me do a few more Xavier Worthys because he was good last week.
44:27And Worthy or Keenan Allen? I'd go Keenan. Worthy or a Cleveland receiver?
44:31Boston for me. I've got Worthy. Worthy or Pop Douglas tonight?
44:34I'd go Douglas. I have Worthy. I guess I do like Worthy.
44:38Worthy or a Doons Day tonight? Worthy. Worthy. Okay.
44:41Let's go to our next game. Actually, I think we're going to have to squeeze in a commercial break here.
44:47Start the Chiefs. Oh, start the Seahawks DST. The Chiefs DST, Heath seemed low on them based on yesterday's rankings.
44:54I don't know if that's changed. Dave and Jamie were high on the Chiefs DST.
44:58They've been pretty good most weeks. Not always. Seattle giving up the six most fantasy points DSTs.
45:04I'm very turnover prone right now. Yeah. You moved him up?
45:07Yeah. Okay. The Chiefs DST run high when Joe Burrow leads the Bengals into Baltimore for an AFC North clash with Derrick Henry and the Ravens.
45:15And while some will see the Broncos ride into Arizona to take on the Cardinals out West, JB and the guys break
45:22it all down at noon Eastern on the NFL today.
45:26And we'll be right back with Cincinnati at Baltimore.
45:28Huge game in the AFC North. And we'll talk about it after this.

46:29Toyota. Let's go places. Creatine is easily one of the most researched supplements on the planet.
46:34But I hit a point where I realized just trusting a pretty label wasn't enough.
46:39I needed actual verification. That's why I made the switch to Momentus Signature Spec Creatine.
46:44Instead of chasing flavor trends, Momentus set a brand new benchmark by producing their creatine in a pharmaceutical facility with reverse osmosis water purification.
46:51It undergoes a rigorous six-stage testing process with four independent agencies, guaranteeing 10 times fewer impurities, tighter heavy metal limits, and tests for microplastics and PFAs.
47:00For my own routine, having that level of purity is non-negotiable.
47:03And the fact that it's an ultra-fine powder that mixes seamlessly with no clumping makes it effortless to take every day for power, recovery, and brain health.
47:12If you want to try Momentus Signature Spec Creatine, head to livemomentus.com and use code FFT for up to 35% off your entire first order.
47:20That's livemomentus.com, promo code FFT for up to 35% off.
47:23Livemomentus.com, promo code FFT. Cincinnati's at Baltimore. Joe Burrow is a top-five quarterback.
47:27Start Jamar Chase. Start T. Higgins. Jamie, I asked you earlier about Chase Brown, and I want to expand a little bit on it here.
47:35You said stardom. He's about 15th in the rankings, not as high as he usually is.
47:40Right now, he's actually, per game, 25th, or this is actually a week ago.
47:4425th in non-PPR per game, 20th in half PPR, 18th in full PPR.
47:48But anyway, what do you expect this week against the Ravens, who are sixth best against running backs and allow 3.8 yards
47:55per carry and the fewest receiving yards per game to running backs?
47:59It's not going to be pretty. You know, and really it's about the workload.
48:04You know, so I think if you're looking at this and what you're taking away from it is, can Chase Brown still
48:11be the dominant running back for the Bengals? Because what we saw against Miami was Samaj P.
48:16Ryan getting a lot of work and clearly being a factor.
48:19And last year, as you know, you've done a great job, Adam, of noting, is that when P.
48:25Ryan was healthy at the start of the season, Chase Brown was not performing well.
48:30Now, that kind of coincided with Joe Burrow getting hurt, so the offense was clearly in flux.
48:35But if he has a bad workload, then I think we have a real problem on our hands because then the Bengals
48:42are trying to figure out what to do with their backfield and their run game, and that's clearly been an issue for this team.
48:50So I think at this point, you just kind of treat Chase Brown as a starter, and hopefully it's not a complete dud and disappointing performance.
48:58And so basically the way it happened last year was Chase Brown was the lead back, got off to a bad start.
49:05The whole offense got off to a bad start.
49:08Joe Burrow got hurt in week two. After five games, they switched it up, and they split the carries fairly evenly.
49:15Week six through eight, Chase Brown had three games.
49:17He had 32 carries and seven catches. He played 58% of the snaps.
49:22P. Ryan had 22 carries, 10 fewer, and he had three catches, and he played 42% of the snaps.
49:28So it became a much more even split. Then P.
49:31Ryan got hurt, and then Chase Brown's season went berserk.
49:34But just to point that out, this is not unprecedented.
49:37They did start splitting it about 60-40, and it wasn't good for Chase Brown.
49:42Also, they said Dan Pitcher, their offensive coordinator, I believe it was, he said that basically when they run out of shotgun,
49:48I think he said that favors Samajé Pirine. When they run under center, that favors Chase Brown.
49:54I may have switched that, but I'm nervous to see what happens here.
49:58And it sucks that they're coming off the spine and have a bad matchup, because it could be another tough game for Chase Brown.
50:06But yeah, I mean, we have to start him.
50:08I think it was a good thing to talk about, but we're just, the way we are sitting currently at the running
50:15back position, Chase Brown's not somebody you can get away from.
50:19No, but can you get to Samajé Pirine? And before you answer that, Heath, question from the chat, would you trade Chase Brown for Jalen Warren?
50:27I think if we know that there's going to be a timeshare in Cincinnati, then yes, because there's a timeshare in Pittsburgh.
50:34And Jalen Warren... You don't know it yet. You might have to...
50:38That's what I'm saying. Yeah. So you have to make that call, because everything I said was...
50:43I would not make that trade. You would not?
50:46I'm not saying it's a bad trade. It's just not...
50:49It's close enough that I'm just not trading two borderline RB ones for each other when I don't know which one's going to be better.
50:57Yeah. And for what it's worth, you've already had Cincinnati's bye.
51:01And listen, even though it happened last year, I'm not saying it's going to happen again this year.
51:06I don't know what's going to happen in this game.
51:10Now, Heath, your thoughts on Pirine. You said you like Roshon Johnson.
51:13How would you compare the two? I would rather...
51:16I feel more confident in Roshon Johnson playing the role that he's going to play, because it's the same role that Menonga's
51:23played and the same role they've had in this offense for the last two years.
51:28Pirine, as you've already noted, is a little bit more spotty in that regard.
51:32So Pirine's closer to the Emmanuel Wilson portion of my rankings.
51:36He's a fine flex. I wouldn't call him a good flex.
51:39You're probably going to need a touchdown for him to matter for you in fantasy.
51:44I will say this, though. If you don't have to play anyone and you're speculating, you should be speculating on Pirine and
51:51not Roshon, because there was just a report that the Bears are expecting Kyle Menonga to return soon.
51:57Agreed. And, oh, so you would go, I'm assuming you guys would go Chase Brown, Zach Charbonnet, and then Pirine Wilson would be kind of similar.
52:05Like, you'd start Charbonnet over Pirine. I'd start both Seattle running backs over Pirine, yes.
52:10I agree. Any hesitation with T. Higgins this week?
52:13Nope. No. Okay. I'm hoping he just wasn't healthy last game against Miami.
52:17Came into that game with an adductor injury, and he had four targets in a terrible game.
52:22Any interest in Mike Isicchi? No. Touchdown or bust, T.
52:25Higgins. I think you view him like you view Jake Ferguson and Mark Andrews at this point.
52:31Let's start Derek Henry. Is Zay Flowers a must-start, Heath, if Tyler Huntley plays in the two games with him?
52:37He has 14.6 fantasy points and 12.7 fantasy points.
52:40Which is basically the same as what he did last year.
52:43So if you have two or three wide receivers that you think are going to score more than 13 fantasy points and
52:50you wanted to get away from Zay Flowers, you could.
52:53But I think he did that without any touchdowns.
52:56He's a top 15 wide receiver for me. I'm starting him everywhere I have him.
53:01I would say he is a must-start wide receiver, but it is possible that you drafted Matthew Golden, who I would start over him.
53:09And a couple other – maybe you drafted both Packers.
53:12I'd start both of them over him. Would you start Woody Marks or Zay Flowers?
53:17Zay. Half PPR, same question. Zay. Non-PPR? Zay. Would you start T.
53:20Higgins or Zay Flowers? Zay. Okay. I just want to say one more thing about Flowers.
53:25DJ Turner did shadow him in both games. And yes, I know people make fun of me for the shadow thing.
53:32I love it. I love the shadow thing. Call me whatever you want.
53:36DJ Turner shadowed him in both games. And I went and I checked my notes.
53:41So he had two catches for six yards in week 13 against the Bengals.
53:45And then he had three for 68 and a touchdown on five targets in week 15.
53:51But in both games, Zay Flowers had either a touchdown called back on a really bad offensive pass interference penalty.
53:57I don't know if you guys remember that. And then the other game, he dropped a touchdown.
54:02So DJ Turner, I think they're going to try it.
54:05He really can't – like nobody can shadow Zay Flowers' success.
54:09He's not the type of player that those corners want to follow around and try to stick with.
54:15No. I don't know if you saw my tweet yesterday, but I didn't realize until I watched the tape yesterday that Travis
54:22Hunter shadowed Nico Collins last week and did a very good job.
54:25Did you see the thing about him talking about the fake stumble to get the interception?
54:30No. Wow. He says he does this regularly. But he will like when he's running on an out route or running on
54:37a route with someone, he'll squat down for a step so the guy thinks he's falling to get him to throw the ball.
54:45Wow. Okay. He's going to be incredible. He's really – Travis Hunter is blossoming.
54:49Rashad Bateman and Jacoby Lane, Jamie, where do we – how are we feeling about them?
54:54Not great about Bateman. I think with Lane you could hope for a touchdown.
54:59But until Lamar Jackson's back, really the secondary pieces in the passing game are just not going to be fun, safe.
55:05Yeah. You know, it's just – you got to see this offense with Lamar Jackson.
55:10So hopefully he plays. I'm curious if Heath will give you a buyout on the bet if Devontae continues to have big performances with Tanner McKee.
55:18I've offered a buyout. He won't accept any buyouts.
55:21That's not true. That's not true. I don't remember what your term was, but I would accept it.
55:27I gave you a month discount to wear the beard during the season.
55:31All right. I'll come back to you on that one.
55:34I'll come back to you on that one. There's no way you're going to do it.
55:39I think it's more fun if you wear the beard during the season.
55:43I agree. I agree. It's all about – I can't show up to NFL play action looking like that.
55:49That's the thing. Yes, you can. No, I can't.
55:52There's no rule about you can't have beards on TV.
55:55I can't have a stupid beard. Like, they wouldn't go for it.
55:59They would love it. They would love it. It would be their favorite thing.
56:04They dressed you up at the scandals yesterday. They would love it.
56:07They did, yeah. Mark Andrews facing the Bengals. They're so bad against tight ends, even though they haven't allowed a receiving touchdown to a tight end yet.
56:16But we still have him as a sit. It is National Tight Ends Day.
56:20You just never know. All right. I think we're covered here, but I'll get to the chat.
56:26You can't – we can't start all the tight ends, Adam.
56:29I know. I'm not sure Mark Andrews is, like, even capable anymore.
56:33We'll revisit this game if Mar Jackson plays. It would be a boost to the other guys.
56:38Which is – and the answer is easy, but it still should be mentioned.
56:43Which is the bigger travesty? The Seahawks letting Ken Walker walk for Rashid Shahid or the Ravens deciding to pay Mark Andrews over Isaiah Likely?
56:51I think it's that one. Really? I think so because it's just like – you could argue that it just doesn't make sense to pay running backs.
56:59But I think the Ravens made a big mistake.
57:02That argument has gotten more difficult early in the season.
57:05No, I get it. I mean, he's having basically the best start to a season ever.
57:10But that's a great question, Jamie. It's a great question.
57:14Burrow or Love? I'd go Love this week. Love.
57:16A.J. Brown or T. Higgins? It's very close. I think there's a little bit more upside for T.
57:22Higgins right now. But we have no problem if somebody wants to play Brown.
57:27It's one of those situations, I guess, like Heath said, if you have the Packers receivers or maybe Jalen Coker, you can get away from these guys.
57:35But I would like to start both. Flip a coin.
57:38They're almost tied in the projections. Kamara or Pirine?
57:41Kamara. I'd still go Kamara there. Chase Brown or Abuka?
57:44May not have a choice, so I'd still go Chase Brown either way.
57:48Chase Brown. Brown or Ramondre Stevenson tonight? Brown. Brown.
57:51Pirine or Damian Pierce? We don't know. They play Monday, so that's why we haven't gotten a practice report yet.
57:58But let's say Barkley's out. If Barkley's out, I would go Pierce.
58:01Yeah. Zay Flowers or Jalen Coker? That's very close for me.
58:05I'd still probably go Zay, but it wouldn't surprise me if Coker's better.
58:09Flip a coin. Andrews or Henry? Hunter Henry? Henry.
58:12Andrews, Michael Mayer, or Tyler Higby? Oh, that's a great question because Henry and Loveland are not playing on National Titan Day.
58:19Ooh, that's true. Then they're not going to do well.
58:22I would go Higby. I'd go Higby as well.
58:25Neither is Dallas Goddard or Jake Ferguson, right? That's true.
58:28All right. That's it for this game unless the DSTs.
58:31Which DST do you like better? Ravens. Okay. The Bengals, they get a lot of sacks.
58:36Oh, I'm sorry. I think I actually would go Bengals with Huntley.
58:40If Huntley starts, it would be Bengals. The Ravens have been pretty bad this year, actually.
58:45And the Ravens have been a good matchup when they've had Huntley.
58:49So I think on paper, it probably makes more sense to go with the Bengals, but the Ravens are much more rostered than the Bengals.
58:57All right. The Giants are at Houston. Here's your weird stat of the game.
59:01The Giants, like, is this a good matchup? Well, actually, this is dumb.
59:05Because if the Giants are missing their starting cornerback and their best safety, then I think it's just so easy to start CJ Stroud.
59:13And it's probably easy to start him anyway. But there's only been one quarterback who's thrown for more than 200 yards against the Giants.
59:21They're like eighth best. What's because they're up by 30 points at halftime and they just try to run the clock out while the Giants throw 45 passes.
59:30Bro, we're in first place! Come on! Come on!
59:32Anyway, their defense has been strange. Okay. Just lay out the game for me, Heath.
59:37Who do you like in this game? I love CJ Stroud.
59:41Woody Marks we talked about at the top of the show.
59:44He's an RB2. Nico Collins is a must-start wide receiver.
59:47On the Giants, I'm starting Malik Nabors, and I'm starting Isaiah Likely.
59:51Okay. Yeah. I mean, there's not a lot of borderline calls in this game.
59:55We've talked about Pirine. Giants running backs, I think, for people that need flex.
60:00Yeah, like Pirine, Charbonnet, Kamara, all these guys. You start them over a Giants running back?
60:05Not Pirine. I'm curious what the Giants are going to do.
60:08You know, I mean, releasing Najee Harris, you would think, is a positive for all of them.
60:14Yes. Hopefully the biggest positive for Skadaboo. But after what we've seen, and you just got that ESPN report from a guy
60:21who used to cover the Giants, and Dan Graziano, is that you have maybe a situation here.
60:26I think he used to cover the Giants. Yeah.
60:29You have a situation here of, he said that they're either looking to acquire a running back or going to give Tyrone Tracy a bigger workload.
60:37Now, does that mean he's going to get more work than Skadaboo?
60:41We just don't know. So this is another one of these ambiguous backfields that you should be stashing Tracy, coming off of his best game score, two touchdowns.
60:50I have no problem if somebody wants to start Tracy over Skadaboo.
60:54I'm just hopeful that we go back to Skadaboo as the lead rusher.
60:58Now, he's been miserable the last three weeks. One of those he was benched, but under eight PPR points in the two previous games.
61:06So he's becoming a very difficult player to trust in one of the bigger busts that we have this season.
61:12So taking on a Houston run defense, that's good.
61:15I would like to avoid it both if I can.
61:18But I picked up Tracy in a bunch of leagues just to see if he's going to be the main guy.
61:25And if you want to just bank on hope, that's the guy I would probably lean more than Skadaboo at this point.
61:31I'm starting all those guys you said over them, Adam, just because I have no idea.
61:37The Giants have it. Even P. Ryan. Okay. I think P.
61:40Ryan's going to get probably eight to ten touches in a bad case scenario.
61:44And I have no idea if any of these Giants are going to get eight to ten touches.
61:50They might all get six. They've scored two rushing touchdowns on the season.
61:54And they have an extremely low implied point total in this game.
61:58And so I just like their touchdown odds are like below 10% for each of them.
62:03If one of them was a lead guy, it might be 25%.
62:07But I just if they come out and say we're going to go back to Cam Skadaboo or Tyrone Tracy's our guy,
62:14then I'll move one of those guys into the top.
62:1735, but I don't have either one of them in the top 40 right now.
62:22And if you look at the Texans right there, 22nd against quarterbacks, their 10th against running backs, their 31st against receivers and their 11th against tight ends.
62:30I don't really think any of us feel like they're that bad on defense.
62:35I feel like Trevor Lawrence carved them up last week.
62:38But my personal opinion is that he just played really well and made terrific throws.
62:43It's not like you watch some of these defenses and there's busted coverages all the time and they can't tackle and all that.
62:50And that's why they struggle. That's not what happened last week with the Texans and the Jaguars.
62:55Honestly, I give a lot of credit to Trevor Lawrence just playing a great game.
63:00I don't think JJ McCarthy is really capable of doing it.
63:04Like, and I just think the running backs are in a bad spot because of it.
63:09And the Texans have a great run defense. However, with this game, there are a lot of defensive injuries on both sides here.
63:16I get the sense that for the Texans, other than Jalen Petrie, their safety, actually both of their safety, we should mention this.
63:23Both of their safeties are hurt. Reed Blankenship is in the concussion protocol.
63:27Petrie, I forget if he left super early last game or missed last game.
63:32But Aziz Alshire is a huge one. He's on the injury report.
63:36I feel like that's more of a Wednesday maintenance thing.
63:39But this is a game where you have to keep an eye on the injuries because the Giants in the secondary and
63:46the Texans in the secondary could change things. But yeah, the Giants are easy.
63:50It's basically you're starting those guys. I'm starting them slightly nervously, but whatever.
63:54And then Woody Marks is, you know, someone we're excited about.
63:58Go ahead. I just want to say, like, even with the questions about the Texans defense and they haven't been what we
64:05expected, they're giving up 3.4 yards per carry this season.
64:08They've given up five rushing touchdowns all year. Like, the run defense is still awesome.
64:13And it's probably getting better with Domingo Ryan's back in charge.
64:16I just, I'm out on this run game. I'll tell you who I'm kind of hopeful for is Marvin Harrison Jr.
64:23in this game. He only ran 26% of the routes, so hopefully he gets more involved.
64:28You guys like CJ. You like CJ Stroud, I'm assuming.
64:31Yes. Quite a bit. Yeah, very much. So how are we feeling about Marvin Harrison Jr., Jalen Knoll, Jamie?
64:37I'd like to see it for one more week, and I know it's tough to say that because then they have their bye.
64:44But, you know, look, you're talking about Tank Dell now being added to the mix.
64:49And so Nico Collins is still a stud. Dalton Schultz, if he plays, just had six targets last week.
64:55So there's a lot of mouths to feed in this offense, and I think that's the benefit of Stroud and how he's performing.
65:02But also we're looking at, you know, is Nico still going to be the dominant alpha?
65:08He's still the alpha, but is he going to be the dominant alpha?
65:12Is Marvin Harrison going to take on more work?
65:15Is Tank Dell going to get just a few shots, or is he going to be part of the offense?
65:21And Jalen Knoll probably deserves more targets because he's been performing at a very high level the last three games.
65:27So I don't want to start Harrison, but I definitely want to stash him.
65:32Okay. Do you want to start Knoll? No, I don't want to start any of those guys aside from Nico.
65:38I just think you're looking at it as like, you know, if you have bench spots where you can afford to stash
65:45players, I still think, despite the fact that Knoll's played well, Harrison has the highest ceiling.
65:50I'm sure most people would agree with that. And then Tank Dell is somebody that has had huge success here.
65:56You know, it's going to suck. This is the thing that happens with players that come off IR spots.
66:02You've been stashing these guys, and then you have no way to play them, so you're probably going to end up dropping them.
66:10You may regret it, but, you know, I can't imagine Tank Dell has a huge role.
66:15At least in his first game. To give you an idea of how much they like CJ Stroud, he's ahead of Dak Prescott.
66:22Six, seven, eight in the rankings are Stroud, Stafford, and Bryce Young in some order.
66:27For Jamie, it's Stroud, Young, Stafford. For Heath, it's Stafford, Young, Stroud.
66:31But he's a top eight quarterback for Jamie and Heath.
66:34For Dave, he's third. Questions on this game from the chat.
66:37Woody Marks or J.K. Dobbins? Marks. Yep. This is all assuming David Montgomery doesn't play.
66:42If he practices tomorrow, we'll update you on Woody Marks' ranking.
66:45Chase Brown, Ashton Gentry, or Woody Marks? Start two.
66:48Sit Marks. Yeah. Kamara or Tracy? I still go Kamara, but it's close.
66:52Yep. Likely or Laporta? Likely. Likely. Woody Marks, Jermondre Stevenson, or Aaron Jones?
66:57Just need one? Yeah. I'd go Marks. I'd go Woody.
67:00Noel or Tucker? Tucker. Tucker. Oh, I got a great.
67:03You sure about that? You sure about those five minutes?
67:06I got a great Tucker stat for you when we get to that game.
67:10Now, I would also go Trey Tucker, but that's a hard case to make.
67:15Like, he's had, every time he's had an 80-yard game in his career, he's followed it up with a stinker, basically.
67:22Except one time when he caught a touchdown. And then you got the Rams who have allowed more than 50 yards to one wide receiver.
67:29But Pittsburgh's at New Orleans. By the way, I got some news.
67:33Yes, Saquon Barkley's expected to play. Yeah. Thank you.
67:36Sorry. Thank you for reminding me. Get Damian Pierce out of your lineups.
67:40Yep. Yeah. All right, Pittsburgh at New Orleans. I already told you it's National Tight Ends Day.
67:46This game is in France. France. We come from France.
67:49Coenheads. Yeah. High five. Yeah, where's Jalen Warren, Heath, for you this week?
67:53He's a, I mean, the state of the running back position, he's a must-start running back borderline top 12.
67:59Don't even think about it. Okay. Where's Aaron Rodgers for you?
68:02He is a, I think he's currently QB 12.
68:05Right on that borderline, just ahead of Tyler Shuck.
68:08Several spots ahead of Patrick Mahomes. And I think Jamie has Rodgers right around 12th as well.
68:14You both have him 12th. Dave has him 9th.
68:16He has reverted back to this short area crap.
68:194.6 and 4.0 yards. That could change this week.
68:22I hope so. Saints have these, Saints have the second lowest pressure rate amongst defenses.
68:27So he should not be as concerned about getting hit.
68:30Okay. I don't really see like this being that good of a matchup.
68:34You know, like only Lamar Jackson's done really well.
68:37No, that's not true. Kirk Cousins did. The Giants quarterbacks threw 47 times and cobbled together a good game.
68:43You guys are pretty confident in him. Top 12 guy.
68:46Bernard or Metcalf? Who do you like better? Still DK, but it's getting close.
68:51Yep. Yeah. Bernard, they're both basically must starts. Jamie talked about that at the top of the show.
68:56So 21 targets in two games for Bernard since Roman Wilson's finger injury.
69:00Metcalf has been 12 something PPR points or more in three of his last four games.
69:05Like they're just getting the job done. Saints allow the sixth most fantasy points to tight ends.
69:11That might be one of the reasons why Heath likes Pat Friermuth.
69:15Jamie's not quite as high on Pat Friermuth. Jamie has him 13th, 11th, 11th.
69:19And Heath has him 8th. Dave does not like Friermuth.
69:22Dave has him 22nd. But Friermuth, low end starter.
69:25You're like Friermuth or Kelsey? He's getting closer. Still Kelsey, but it's close.
69:29Yep. I hope you guys are right. This guy's had more than five targets once this year.
69:35Not sure. Well, I mean, he's right there with Hunter Henry, who I think has not had more than five targets in a game this year.
69:43It's true. Play the song. Come on. What? The happy birthday song?
69:47Yeah. Oh, I was also... You know what song I...
69:50I think you should save it for Sunday night after he's scored.
69:54Or maybe Sunday during the morning show while he's playing.
69:57You know what I can... You know what song I can play for this game?
70:02Let's see. Let's see. Why'd you do it with like a Spanish accent?
70:06Because, you know, I don't know. I realized at first I was doing it and then I changed.
70:11That means it's not the game of the week.
70:14No. So your thing was the Holy Sox on this show, not the singing.
70:19We don't need the singing when we've got the Holy Sox.
70:22Okay. You've already done your thing. I don't know why I didn't do French accent.
70:27I got into it eventually there. That was tough.
70:30On the Saints side of the ball, Tyler Shuck is kind of on the borderline here.
70:35He's only got 55 pass attempts in his last two games combined.
70:39And we're seeing like if he doesn't throw the ball a ton, he could struggle as a passer.
70:44And the Steelers are fourth best against quarterbacks, but they haven't faced a very tough schedule.
70:49So we'll keep that in mind. I don't know what...
70:53He hasn't played as well as he did last year.
70:56He's averaging fewer yards per pass attempt than Aaron Rodgers is.
70:59Like maybe he gets a bunch of volume because they're playing from behind, but I don't really want to start him.
71:06I sounded like a minion. Listen, I'm struggling with this game and I'll just tell you how I feel.
71:12I'm not feeling great about this game in terms of points.
71:15I feel like Olave, obviously, and Jalen Warren are the only two guys that I am comfortably putting in my...
71:22No, no, no. I agree about the Steelers receivers.
71:25I'm sorry. But Vele, Jawan Johnson, Rodgers and Shuck, I'm just not that confident.
71:29Are you guys ranking Rodgers and Shuck as starters or borderline starters because you like them or because it's not that great of a week?
71:37Rodgers, yes. No, Rodgers, I'm confident to say the 12th quarterback or 10th, 11th, 12th quarterback is...
71:42I think that's the spot for a reason or in that spot for a reason.
71:47So the last month has been extremely productive for him.
71:50Is he playing at the level of a must-start quarterback?
71:53No, but he's getting the job done. And like you said, he got eight points in overtime.
71:59Okay, he still got to those eight points. And this is a defense that has given up a lot of big games to quarterbacks recently.
72:07So I'm going to start him certainly as a buyer replacement if I have to pivot from Josh Allen or Trevor Lawrence or Jaden Daniels.
72:15I'm happy about that. I think in the case of Shuck, look, he's been...
72:19He got off to a great start, but not to say that this is the reason why, but he breaks his hand
72:26against Atlanta, his left hand against Atlanta. He stinks against Minnesota, but we probably would have been concerned about his performance against Minnesota, but it was really bad.
72:35And then you get lucky with the four total touchdowns against the Giants where he hadn't been running very much.
72:41Then he gives you 32 yards in the score on the ground.
72:45So I think just looking at it, the Steelers defense is clearly very good.
72:49I would try to get away from Shuck. In the case of Friermuth, like you say he hasn't been getting a lot of targets.
72:57I get it. He was, you know, 10 or 11 PPR points in two of his last three games.
73:03We were very excited about him last week. As Heath alluded to in the start of the show, pops him on the injury report.
73:11And then you just get these hyper-targeted games for the other two guys.
73:15I mean, I guess it's going to be a little bit more equal distribution or close to it would be the hope for Friermuth.
73:22So is he a slam dunk? No, but... Who do you like better, Juwan Johnson or Friermuth?
73:28Friermuth. Muth. Okay. All right. Here's some questions from the chat.
73:31Kyler Murray or Aaron Rodgers? I'd go Murray. I'd go Rodgers.
73:35Friermuth or Roshon Johnson in PPR? I'd go Friermuth.
73:38I don't think about tight ends versus running backs very often.
73:41I would also go Friermuth. Shaka Rodgers? Rodgers. Jeremy Bernard or Jalen Waddell?
73:45Standard scoring. Jeremy. Jeremy. Bernard, Coker, Jamo, or Braylon Allen?
73:48You could only pick one. My goodness. Start of the week?
73:52Oh, PPR? I'd probably go Coker. Juwan Johnson or Michael Mayer?
73:55It's all points. Jamie, you're Mike. Talk. Hey, Jamie.
73:58What's up? Hey. Oh, there you are. Juwan Johnson or Michael Mayer?
74:02I would go Juwan Johnson. Agreed. Jared Goff or Tyler Shuck?
74:05We're going Goff. Colson Loveland or Juwan Johnson? Loveland for me.
74:09Juwan for me. Friermuth or Kelsey? Kelsey. We just said that right now it's close, but still Kelsey.
74:15Yep. Bernard or Jamison Williams? Bernard. Like your socks, Jeremy.
74:18All right. That's... You could have gone with J-Mo.
74:21I would caution against the Steelers' DST. First of all, the Steelers have had such an easy schedule.
74:26They faced Cooper Rush and Jalen Daniels and Cleveland and...
74:30I don't even remember. Drake May when he was terrible.
74:33And they've also... And you hate this game. I do hate this game.
74:37I do. Is that why you made it Spanish instead of French?
74:41It was a sign of disrespect. All right, guys.
74:44We got three games left. Let's go to Miami at the Jets.
74:47Stat of the game, every DST has been good against the Dolphins, including the Raiders and the Bengals.
74:53So, don't necessarily shy away from the Jets' DST.
74:56They... Let's see how they've done this year. They're top 12 in the rankings.
75:00They had eight sacks against Cleveland. They were terrible at Detroit, at Chicago, and at New England.
75:06Other than that, they were good. So, Dolphins allowed the fourth most fantasy points at DSTs.
75:11Take a look at the Jets. Now, Geno Smith.
75:14Or Patrick... Oh, you guys said Mahomes, I think, over Geno, right?
75:17We said Geno. You said Geno. Damn it. All right.
75:21Come on. Geno Smith, not bad this week. The running backs, we already talked about them earlier in the show.
75:27How about Malik Washington or Keenan Allen? Is Caleb Douglas back?
75:30I think so. He was limited yesterday. We're not ranking him yet.
75:34If he's back, then it'd be very close. If he's not, then it's easily Washington for me.
75:40It's close either way for me. I think the floor is safer for Washington.
75:44The ceiling is higher for Keenan Allen, even against Minnesota.
75:47How about Omar Cooper? How are we feeling about him with Adonai Mitchell limited?
75:52That will change the rankings of Cooper a little bit, but I just think when you have a first-round talent that just
75:59showed you what he showed you, you don't take him off the field or take him out of situations where you can
76:06try and give him chances to succeed. He looked amazing.
76:09I don't think this Dolphins defense, despite the fact that they've been statistically good against opposing receivers, is going to be the reason why Omar Cooper fails.
76:17I wanted to add Cooper, but not to start Cooper.
76:20I do think this is probably a run-heavy game for the Jets, which is why Braylon Allen is the start of the week.
76:28I don't think Garrett Wilson has two bad games in a row, so I don't really want to start Cooper.
76:34So you guys would start Malik Washington or Omar Cooper?
76:37It's a ceiling floor play. If you want the higher ceiling, it's clearly Cooper.
76:42If you want the safer floor, it's Washington. Washington's got to score a touchdown.
76:46He's been 11 to 12 PPR points three games in a row.
76:50The first two games of the season when Douglas played, played the entire first game and left in the second game, were Washington's two worst games this year.
76:59I'd go Washington. I think people need to start, need to drop Kenyon Sadiq.
77:03He's the number two tight end on this team, unfortunately.
77:06Mason Taylor plays a lot more than him. Sadiq is rostered as of yesterday in 48% of leagues.
77:12I think there's a better use of that roster spot.
77:15You guys feel free to disagree. I would guess a good portion of that is probably Keeper leagues or Dynasty leagues.
77:22I think they're afraid to drop them because you'll say they have an illegal lineup.
77:27That's very good, very good. All right. So Braylon Allen is the top 12 guy.
77:31Ollie Gordon in the rankings is. Let's take a look.
77:35An RB2. We talked about him in the question for each game.
77:3816th, 19th, 17th for Jamie Dave Heath. Let's go to the questions.
77:42The regular Thursday end of the show. Love when he does a lot of the clock.
77:47Malik Washington or Samaj P. Ryan? Washington. Washington. Gino Smith or Jacoby Brissett?
77:51Gino. Gino. Jets DST or Browns DST? Browns. Browns.
77:54Browns. Gino or Penix? I have Penix. I'd go Gino.
77:57Gino, JJ McCarthy or Baker Mayfield if he plays?
78:00Gino. Gino. Gino. Ollie Gordon over J.K. Dobbins. Yep.
78:03Sit one in non-PPR. Neighbors, Flowers, Watson, Ollie Gordon.
78:06The safe answer is probably sit Ollie Gordon, but he scored a touchdown in three straight games, so that matters in non-PPR.
78:13I would actually probably sit Flowers. I'd sit Ollie.
78:16Allen or Chase Brown? Braylon Allen or Chase Brown?
78:19Allen if Hall is out. Yep. Next game is the Raiders and the Rams.
78:23Okay, Jamie, let's make this fast here. Who are we starting?
78:27Who are we sitting? We are starting Puka Nakua.
78:29We are starting Matthew Stafford. We are starting Kyron Williams.
78:33We are starting Brock Bowers. We are starting Ashton Gentry.
78:36You might be starting Tyler Higbee. You might be starting Michael Mayer.
78:40You might be starting Kirk Cousins. You might be starting Blake Whorl.
78:43Let's talk about Matthew Stafford. He is a start, but he's really not playing that well.
78:48Now, he had Puka Nakua wide open for a 65-yard touchdown on busted coverage, got hit just as he was throwing, and overthrew the ball.
78:56That makes his day and Puka's day so much better.
78:59But without Devontae Adams last year, he played three games without Devontae Adams.
79:04He scored more than 34 fantasy points in two of them, and one of them was at Seattle that Thursday night crazy game.
79:11So anyway, he's been fine in the past, but struggling a bit.
79:15So you start CJ Stroud over him, right? I would, yes.
79:18I have Stafford one spot higher. One spot higher.
79:21Okay. Would you start Dak Prescott Monday night or Stafford at the Raiders?
79:25I would start Dak. Stafford for me. Stafford or Caleb Williams tonight?
79:29Stafford. Stafford. Stafford or Drake May? May. Yep. You guys are still confident in Matthew Stafford?
79:34I was looking, because I have a league with Jaden Daniels.
79:38It's our draft-a-thon league. So somebody dropped Jaden Daniels when he initially got hurt, and I picked him up.
79:44And I have Lamar Jackson, so I'm stuck this week.
79:47Yeah. And so I was looking at, like, can I trade one of the two?
79:51Good luck. To get something in return. And you were the first team I looked at, Adam.
79:57And I was thinking about this since you brought Stafford.
80:00Would you, because you can't make the trade this week.
80:03Like, you just lost Jalen Hurts. You had Stafford and Hurts in that league.
80:08And so I was like, oh, can I trade him Lamar?
80:11Would he trade me Stafford for Lamar and just pick up another quarterback?
80:15Because I know you like Lamar so much. I know you wouldn't do the trade because it would just become a headache for you.
80:23But that was just... Oh, I know. That's interesting.
80:26I'd have to go find one this week, but that's interesting.
80:29Blake Corum or Kanata Mumfield? Who's a better flyer?
80:32After Kyron's comments last week, I wonder how Sean McVay is going to approach it.
80:37And there was a report yesterday. I don't know who it was from.
80:41It was a Ram source or a national source, so I apologize.
80:45But McVay wants to get a little bit more balance in the offense.
80:49And that kind of speaks to where you're at, I think, with Stafford, of just him throwing too much and the offense
80:56not having the type of rhythm I'm sure that they want to have.
81:00Does Kyron get a little bit more work? And I know it's hard to say because you're getting a lot of work.
81:07Oh, does Kyron? I thought you were going the other way.
81:10No, no. I mean, look, I obviously could. You know, if you hear the whole...
81:15This is one of those things like when you take just the portion of what Kyron said versus the whole answer, you
81:22know, where he said, like, he was asked why was there not a rhythm?
81:26And he said, because I wasn't out there. Or energy.
81:30And he said, because I wasn't out there. But you listen to the whole answer.
81:34He didn't really say anything inappropriate. I shouldn't say anything inappropriate.
81:38I think it was like a, you know, we're screwing up because it's not me being out there, whatever.
81:44I wouldn't be surprised if Mumfield has a better game.
81:47But Coram's certainly safer. All right. Would you start...
81:50You know, I'm just going to read some chat questions.
81:53We'll come back to some of the guys here.
81:56But Higby or Loveland? Loveland. It'd be Higby for me.
81:59Michael Mayer or Mark Andrews? Mayer. Yep. Stafford or Purdy?
82:02Purdy. Purdy. Blake Coram or Quinchon Judkins if he plays?
82:05Judkins. Yep. Blake Coram or Zach Charbonnet? Coram. I'd go Charbonnet.
82:09Cousins or Shuck or Murray. Sorry. Pick two. Cousins, Shuck, Murray.
82:12Sidney Shuck. Cousins makes me nervous. I would sit Murray.
82:16Now the Rams are beat up defensively. I think that's part of it.
82:20Very beat up defensively. Yeah. But they are second best, second fewest yards per attempt allowed in the NFL.
82:26McDuffie was no practice or limited. No practice. And they lost two defensive linemen last week.
82:31Aaron Donald's not being Aaron Donald right now. He has very few pressures in sacks.
82:36He's just not himself. Maybe it's just... Do the Rams make the playoffs?
82:40I don't know. I think no. I would guess they'll be the last wild card.
82:44I think they're going to have three NFC West teams in the playoffs.
82:49So you're going to get one from the NFC East.
82:52One from the South. Do you get four from the North though?
82:56The North is better than the West. Yeah. Yeah, arguably.
82:59That's the tricky part. All right. Cousins is top 13 in the rankings.
83:03Cousins or Prescott? Dak. Yep. And I don't think we have this one specifically.
83:07Cousins or Kyler? I would go Kyler. I made that decision in a few leagues.
83:12I dropped Cousins for Kyler. The schedule is so good coming up.
83:16And this week is close enough that I would just lean Kyler.
83:20Yeah. Gentie is right there with Braylon Allen right around 12th.
83:23That's an interesting player because he did not play a lot in the second half.
83:28And they continue to talk up Mike Washington quite a bit.
83:31And I go back to our colleague, Rand Carthon, who, former GM, evaluates the draft, said before the season, that Washington is a better fit for this offense.
83:40Not better player, better fit for this offense than Gentie.
83:43And then you had the game two games ago where they didn't give him any touches.
83:48And then they gave him, and he had more rushing yards than Gentie.
83:53Gentie's just not running the ball very well. I just think their current roles, this is probably a better game for Gentie than it is for Mike Washington.
84:01Oh, totally. This is, by no means is this play Washington over Gentie or sit Gentie because, yeah, this is a throw it game.
84:09This is a, you know, potentially chasing points. And Gentie's been very successful in the passing game.
84:14I just think that we may have a Gentie problem moving forward to the degree of, we did not see him share touches at all last year.
84:23We haven't really seen it to a degree where it's a problem yet, but it might be.
84:28And he's played fewer than 60% of the snaps, two straight games.
84:32And that did not happen in the first four weeks.
84:35The Rams, by the way, have allowed the fourth most receiving yards per game.
84:40The running backs, a running back has at least four catches in four of six games.
84:45So that's where Gentie will make his hay. Trey Tucker is basically 30th or, you know, around there for Jamie and Heath.
84:52He's lower for Dave. Previous four times, he had 80 or more yards.
84:56He followed that up with 41, 58, 13, and 44 yards.
84:59That's throughout his career. He's just, he does not stack games.
85:03Doesn't mean he can't, but he hasn't. It's just when he's coming off a game against the worst secondary, worst defense, at
85:10least at the time, against opposing receivers. And now, even if McDuffie doesn't play, like, there's four, there's enough of a sample
85:17size of what Trey Tucker has done this year, aside from his career.
85:21Because if you just want to say Kubiak's offense with Kirk Cousins, like, four of the six games he's been under eight or under nine PPR points.
85:29Okay. And then Michael Mayer. Two of those games has put him in the top 20, though.
85:35Michael Mayer's 15th for Jamie and Heath. He is 12th for Dave.
85:39We've talked a lot about him so far. Rams DST has actually been really bad this year.
85:44So, I mean, except against the Giants, basically. So, I don't know.
85:48You guys have them ranked fairly high, but they just haven't been a reliable DST.
85:53You both have them top eight. Dave has them 23rd.
85:56Yeah, I have to move them down. All right.
85:59There's just not good. There's not good defenses this week.
86:02I think I'd start the Jets over them. Okay.
86:05And I'd start the Bengals. Is that crazy? No, not with Huntley.
86:08Yeah, if Huntley's playing, I'd start the Bengals over them.
86:12Cleveland at Tennessee. Tennessee's allowed 60 or more yards to seven wide receivers.
86:1670 or more yards to five wide receivers. So, they've been a pretty good matchup.
86:20And they have actually allowed the second most completions of 20 or more air yards.
86:25So, looking at deep ball completions, the Titans are giving up a lot of them.
86:30And that's really important for Denzel Boston. However, Deshaun Watson has failed to throw for 170 yards in three of his last four games, I believe.
86:38Or maybe just two of his last three games.
86:41I might be a little off there. But, no, it's three of his last four.
86:46Anyway, a starter sit, Denzel Boston, Casey Concepcion, Heath.
86:49Boston is a boom-bust number three wide receiver. Concepcion is a desperation flex.
86:53If Quinchon Judkins plays, who's the best running back in this game?
86:57Judkins. It's probably Judkins. Pollard's right behind him. The only way I would start Pollard over him, and Spears just continues to mispractice if Spears misses a game.
87:05The two best games that Pollard has had so far this season is when he's had two or more catches.
87:12In every game where he has not been involved as a pass catcher, he's been miserable.
87:17But he is starting to play to absolutely dominate the snaps and the carries.
87:21I mean, I think he played more snaps last week than he had in any point of the last two seasons, this
87:28year and last year, when Tyje Spears was healthy.
87:31So, you're getting like 17 carries somewhat regularly, 16, 17 carries in three of his last four games.
87:37Cleveland, they're 4.6 yards per carry to running backs.
87:40You know, it's a good matchup for Pollard. You know, so we'd start Pollard over like the Corums and the Pirines and
87:47the Giants guys and all that, right? That's easy.
87:50Yep. Yep. Yeah. Okay. And then Judkins, you know, Judkins more involved in the passing game.
87:55But again, only one game so far for Judkins with double-digit PPR fantasy points.
87:59Try to get away from Harold Fenn and Junior.
88:02We just don't know what it's going to look like with Samson back.
88:06You guys like Carnell Tate or Jeremy Bernard? Tate.
88:09Tate. Carnell Tate or DK Metcalf? Metcalf. Metcalf. Wondale Robinson or Casey Concepcion?
88:13Wondale. Wondale. Wondale or Boston? Boston. I've got Wondale in full PPR.
88:17Boston or Ramondre Stevenson tonight? Ramondre. Yep. Boston or Roshan Johnson tonight?
88:21Boston. I've got Roshan. Ankle socks or like the ones that come up like, you know, three inches higher than that?
88:27Depends on what you're doing. Yeah. Yeah. It's only ankle.
88:30The only socks I'll ever wear basically are ankle socks or, you know, like.
88:35Again, some longer socks might help you stay warm.
88:38I have wool socks for that. Those are really good.
88:41Carnell Tate or Michael Wilson from the chat? Tate.
88:44Yep. Judkins or Ramondre? Ramondre. I'd go Judkins. Pollard or Ramondre?
88:47Yeah, you have to go Ramondre because we'll see.
88:50If he's a full practice today, I'd go Judkins.
88:53What about Pollard or Ramondre then? Ramondre. Probably Ramondre.
88:56Pollard or Jacobs PPR? Pollard. I would go Jacobs.
88:59Concepcion, Jacoby Lane or Kendry Miller, PPR. Oh boy.
89:01Probably Miller. Yep. I mean, Concepcion has six or more targets in three straight healthy games.
89:07So you get a little bit of a floor there, I think, from Concepcion.
89:11What's the floor been in those three games? Not great.
89:14Let's see. Concepcion. Concepcion. Last three games. Looks like 2.9 is his floor.
89:182.9, 11.4, and 7.9. 2.9 is not his floor.
89:21His floor is 7.9. Adam, I just want you to know we had a hole in your shirt yesterday.
89:27I asked you to show us on the air.
89:30You had a hole in your socks. I asked you to show us on the air.
89:35I'm going to guess just knowing you, you have holes in your underwear.
89:39I'm not going to ask you to show us that on the air.
89:43People are asking about my sleeves. My sleeves are fine with this one here.
89:48The collar is a little sketchy, but fine. All right.
89:51Well, thanks for watching and listening to Fantasy Football today.
89:54We will talk to you tomorrow for the NFC home games and a recap of hopefully an exciting Thursday night.
90:00See ya.
