0:31Get yours now at topgolf.com slash fun pass. Which positional tiers are gonna mess you up?
0:36If you get out of the RB1 range, can you bring it back?
0:40Can you make your team whole? Do the wide receivers have a way, way bigger process where you can mess around with the tier twos of those wideouts?
0:49Quarterbacks, tight ends, that's what we're talking about. What are the tier breaks that you can't screw up?
0:54Welcome into Fantasy Pros. I am Chris Welsh and I have got Terrell Roberts and Pat Fitzmaurice.
1:00Maybe the two most beloved group I could have here.
1:03I've been thinking about this too, by the way.
1:06It's hard to be beloved in the space by many.
1:09Many, you two do an incredible job with it.
1:11And that is why this is gonna be phenomenal because, you know, a little controversy in tiers.
1:17You're talking about, you know, the ECR. We're gonna be comparing this on Fantasy Pros ECR where we have tiers.
1:23And you start to look at it and people are gonna look and they're gonna disagree.
1:28Nope, this guy should be here. This guy should be here.
1:31But we are gonna get your guys' opinions on where you can't screw it up.
1:36The, whether ECR says it or not, where is Pat's tier?
1:39Where is Tara's tier? So we're gonna do that and you guys can face all the wrath of it.
1:45But Pat, I know you'll do fantastic with it, my friend.
1:48Oh, thanks. I hope so. But as far as beloved, I don't know about that.
1:53Check the YouTube comments, Welsh. I've got the haters.
1:56I can. No, you guys, I'm telling you, in the world of being beloved, Tara, you do as well.
2:02You guys do such a great job. And this is a really interesting exercise that we're gonna be jumping into where you have to start asking yourself.
2:10I mean, I really like tiers. Maybe this is a question I can ask.
2:14I hadn't prepped for it. But what is more important to you?
2:18The numerical rank, do you hold really? Are you beholden to that?
2:22Or do you like the tier-based process? And I think, you know, for the most part, people will waver between the two.
2:29But I think there's some people that are very, very locked into like, hey, don't hold me to my rank.
2:35Hold me to my tier. It's these five guys.
2:38These players are the ones I'm willing to kind of adjust to.
2:41So are you more of a numerical ranker and beholden to that?
2:45Yeah, I'll definitely look at the tiers. And I tend to follow my ranks.
2:49But I'll play the draft based on tiers and attack certain positions depending on the likelihood of a tier maybe still having
2:56people left in it when it comes back to me with my next pick.
3:00Then I can go at another position, feel comfortable there's someone left in my tier coming back.
3:06But I think the tiering process is kind of important to know where those fall-off points are.
3:11And Tara, what about you? Do you numerical rank, tier?
3:14What one holds a little bit more weight to you?
3:17I think I'm a tier person because, you know, you play in multiple leagues, different types of leagues, different settings.
3:23It allows you the flexibility to not have to focus in on a number, be able to play different leagues and kind
3:30of figure out how to mix and match. Because sometimes, you know, when you're looking at a tier, maybe in one league
3:37you draft a receiver and, you know, a running back that you love, then you would rank over another one.
3:43Maybe it's reversed in that league. So, I mean, it allows you the flexibility to kind of mix and match and try
3:50to adapt to how the draft is going in the settings.
3:53Yeah, like you said that, definitely the adaptation in drafts where you're like, all right, I have two running backs left in
4:00my tier three and I have seven running back or seven wide receivers left in my tier three of wide outs.
4:07Like that can sometimes play a little bit of a role in it.
4:11So whatever the case is, this is going to be a really good spot where they're both going to be identifying where the tiers actually break for them.
4:19And we're going to be doing it from like an RV one, wide receiver one, wide receiver two perspective.
4:25And we're going to do it all positionally. So that is what is in store for the episode.
4:31If you guys want to follow along, go to fantasypros.com slash rankings.
4:34That'll be the reference point here where you can see the rankings and you can see the tiers that we are referencing.
4:41So let's jump in going to the running back.
4:44So bear with me here because I'm going to, I am going to just do a quick list off here.
4:50So you guys kind of have what we're talking about, especially from the podcast perspective on the YouTube.
4:56There's a visual you can see, but tier one at the RB, we are doing half point PPR.
5:01We've got tier one is Bijan, Gibbs, McCaffrey, and Jonathan Taylor.
5:05That's tier one. Tier two is James Cook, Gentty, A-Chan, Chase Brown, and Barkley.
5:09So nine running backs are the first two tiers.
5:12Tier three opens up a little bit. A Marion Hampton, Derek Henry, Ken Walker, Jeremiah Love, Kyron Williams, Josh Jacobs, and Brees Hall.
5:19We'll stop there for a minute because that is going to take us to the first question that we're going to lock into when looking at RB tiers.
5:28What is the actual break for you, Pat, for an RB one based on this?
5:32If you're looking for, I mean, there's a couple of different ways you can look at it.
5:37Maybe you don't feel outside of tier two is an adequate RB one.
5:41Technically the 12th running back happens in tier two, but is that a true representation for you?
5:47So where do the tiers break for the RB one that you were comfortable with?
5:51Maybe it's even deeper. What do you think? So in leagues where I have to start three wide receivers every week, I'm
5:58intent on attacking the wide receiver position aggressively in the early rounds.
6:02And I'll sometimes go with zero running back type build.
6:05So I'm willing to go deeper than this. But ideally, I don't want to go past Josh Jacobs at RB 15.
6:11He's sort of my firewall RB one there. And I think Josh Jacobs, he's getting faded.
6:16I know there's some concerns about the off field situation.
6:19No charges brought against him as of yet. That case is reportedly still open.
6:24But as of now, it looks like nothing is imminent.
6:27And since coming to Green Bay, he's averaged pretty close to a touchdown per game during the regular season over that time.
6:34So he's actually been a pretty steady low end RB one type.
6:37And that's kind of where my personal firewall is with the breaks from RB one, RB two.
6:43I was actually kind of excited about this because I didn't know where you were going to go.
6:48I thought you could have thrown us even the curveball to say, hey, listen, I'm comfortable going down to like 24.
6:55I didn't even talk about tier four yet. But 24 is David Montgomery.
6:59And that starts to battle the like zero RB or kind of low RB builds that you want to do.
7:05So I thought that was interesting. I thought you could have gone any direction.
7:09So you are taking RB 15 on ECR, which is midway through.
7:13Now, just as a quick aside, is Josh Jacobs in like your tier three as well?
7:18Or is he a part is like tier two, maybe a bigger adjustment.
7:22The tiering kind of gets weird, too, because it's like the the tier ones.
7:26The only argument I think you're having is like, is Jonathan Taylor in and out or is James Cook in it?
7:33Tier two becomes bigger since tier three goes to 17 or 16 total running backs and you pick 15.
7:39Is Josh Jacobs still in tier three, though? He's the last of my personal tier three.
7:44OK, perfect. And that makes a lot of sense.
7:46All right, Tara. So Josh Jacobs at 15 for Pat.
7:49What about you? What is the lowest RB one you really want to walk into the season with?
7:55It is Derek Henry for me, although I will say I like that Pat went back to Josh Jacobs because theoretically Josh
8:02Jacobs would be my cutoff as well on that one.
8:05I do have him ranked higher than ECR right now, kind of on the same assumption that it doesn't look like there's anything legal that's going to happen.
8:14Maybe that would be something that would be pushed into the next season.
8:18So I'm drafting him as is. So he technically is in that kind of fringe tier two range for me.
8:24So I'm with you on that one, Pat. But Derek Henry would be the cutoff for me in terms of including Josh Jacobs and not going past that.
8:32Right. Because when I look at all the guys, Derek Henry and above, comparing it to Kenneth Walker and some of the
8:39guys that you have below, there's a certain level of trust that you have with the guys being ranked above.
8:45Now, obviously, you know, we know that the tier one guys, we trust them regardless.
8:50We know the it's, you know, risks that you want to take in terms of guys like Jonathan Taylor dealing with the
8:57Daniel Jones injury and CMC with his own injury risk.
9:00Right. But the upside they provide is very strong.
9:03And then when you dip into your tier two, again, these are guys who are either extremely proven or even if you're
9:09looking at the second year guys like Ashton Gentty or Amari and Hampton, you know, despite Hampton obviously being injured and not
9:16having the significant overall stats and playing, you know, several games below 40 percent of snaps, he actually still outpaced in an average fantasy points per game.
9:25The vast majority of Kenneth Walker seasons with the exception of one.
9:28So that's my problem. And why I have that cutoff in general right there at Derek Henry compared to Kenneth Walker is
9:35that I trust these guys that are above. Kenneth Walker is where things start to get shaky because we're asking him to have a career year.
9:43Right. Now, obviously, for the second year, guys, we're asking for them to have career years as well.
9:49But we've got a certain level of proof, trust in their offenses and trust in them in general to make that natural progression.
9:56But with Kenneth Walker, we've seen year after year after year where he just hasn't been able to make that true leap into RB1 territory.
10:04So for a veteran with such an established presence, I've got a problem with drafting him as a trustworthy RB1, knowing that
10:10we are asking for him to take a leap, that we don't have a lot of faith that 100 percent is going to happen right now.
10:18He's fallen into a good situation with the Kansas City Chiefs.
10:22Hopefully with the change from Matt Nagy over to Eric Biennemi, we can get the running back room back on track there
10:29in general and really commit to a three down back.
10:32But at the end of the day, there's still a lot of variables.
10:36Patrick Mahomes comes back. We know he likes to call his number once they get into the red zone as well, whether
10:42that's via the pass or legs, maybe increased pass opportunities, him coming off of the injury.
10:47We know that there are fringe running backs in there who could contribute from a pass perspective.
10:53So it's not a lot for him to get the massive volume that you would hope he would be able to get and ascend in this offense.
11:01So I still like him. He's not a fade for me, but it's a risk that separates him from the guys above.
11:08So Derek Henry is that cutoff for me. Yeah, I love it.
11:12So the RB tier break, the true break is at 11 for Tara at Derek Henry and 15 for Josh Jacobs.
11:18Now, humbly, do I put my word in here is you did message me that I just so happened to be Fantasy
11:25Pro's most accurate running back ranker for 2025. No big deal or anything like that.
11:29Uh, and was technically, um, I guess number two, but number one of like the full-time fantasy pros people, number one in
11:36the draft ranks, no big deal or anything. Uh, I will say humbly.
11:40I've got guys that said humbly, uh, I have two versions of just what I would throw out here for this.
11:47If I want to have the super comfortable, strong RB build, I think mine is actually at like O'Marion Hampton.
11:53I don't want to say Derek Henry doesn't kind of qualify there, but a 10, if I want to go really strong,
12:00I have not really found myself in a draft that I've done in any mocks fantasy pros in this league or anywhere
12:07else having anything less than like a Hampton at one.
12:10But I think if you want to have like a back-to-back late commitment, I can absolutely stomach a build that is like,
12:16you know, Bucky Irving and David Montgomery, because presumably that is going to be a really strong wide receiver build.
12:23Or, you know, you want to say Javante Williams at 17 and David Montgomery at 24.
12:28Like, I actually think you can really work with that because at that point, if you have three wide receiver setup, you've
12:34probably already put together your three wide receivers, you know, or you've got like a really strong build.
12:40So, and you're talking about the one, the truest sense of RB1, Amaran Hampton is kind of my break, but the two
12:47piece is I do not hate the idea. My cut, actually my true cutoff would actually be 24 because like if I
12:53had Basial Tootin or Jadarian Price or Jalen Warren as my RB1, I'm going to start a new league.
12:59I'm just not going to want to do the rest of that league.
13:03But like, could I have Quinch on Jutkins and DeAndre Swift as my RB2s?
13:08Not the greatest thing in the world, but imagine what my wide receivers look like.
13:12So I kind of towed my waters in with using two RBs here.
13:16So let's now go to the RB2 spot. And Tara, why don't you kick us off here where we are going to
13:23look at what is the justifiable, comfortable RB2 tier break for you?
13:27It is, and I'm going to tote the line here a little bit.
13:31It is a tier break between Travion Henderson currently.
13:34Unfortunately there, I just feel a little bit uncomfortable with dipping into, I think I'm kind of maybe contrarian to you guys.
13:40So maybe we can talk that through, but I'm a little bit uncomfortable dipping into the David Montgomery territory because I am
13:47just a little bit concerned that what happens if we do get Woody Marks here contributing from a pass-catching perspective, right?
13:54And then we're looking in the context of that Houston Texans offense.
13:57We want a back that is going to be a three down back there.
14:02And it has been a long time since we have seen David Montgomery as a three down back.
14:07Now I have confidence that he can, I enjoyed his usage and defended him in the Chicago years, but it's been a while, right?
14:15And while he is a little bit older, you know, try that tread on the tires is still there.
14:21I just need to get a little bit more information about what the true workload here is, because we know that this
14:27Texans offense is not pushing aggressive pace. We know that their defense is only getting better here.
14:33So at the end of the day, the goal line opportunities are a little bit limited because they're not pushing out the
14:39level of volume that we have from, let's say, the LA Rams, you know, or the Cincinnati Bengals.
14:45So there's a certain limitation in terms of the total touchdown upside there.
14:49Even him transitioning there from Detroit. Now Detroit had their obvious issues with their offensive line not being perfect last year, but
14:56it is a lot better than what David Montgomery is walking into with the Houston Texans.
15:01So we're again trusting this Houston Texans offensive line that is retooling yet again for the umpteenth time to make a leap
15:08here and provide a good environment for David Montgomery to thrive here.
15:11So there's a lot of conditions that kind of just makes it that kind of cutoff where if I, if I clip
15:18it off at Travion Henderson, I'm kind of capping it at the guys that I know even might be a little bit
15:25shaky in terms of worrying about Ramondre Stevenson creeping in.
15:28But at the end of the day, I know there's a certain ceiling that they can get to.
15:34I don't know if I've got that once I dip into that David Montgomery territory, even with a DeAndre Swift, very much
15:40confident in terms of steady workload for sure. But because Kyle Monunga is there again, it's a split to a degree.
15:47So while I trust him on a weekly basis to give you steady production, there's a certain ceiling that he can't get
15:54to that the guys above him can. So that's where I kind of cut it off.
15:59I'm okay with drafting them in general, but ideally my perfect RB2, I want to lean a little bit ahead for that
16:05guaranteed level of high upside and workload. And I can appreciate that because I mean, you, you have a, an abundance of
16:12running backs that you want to make sure you're locked into, you know, you've picked two running backs, your RB1 cutoff and
16:19RB2 cutoff that are inside the top 22. So that is going to, you know, probably press you a little bit more
16:26to make sure you're having some earlier running backs.
16:29You did have a note. I don't think you touched on it, but like Jadarian price, I think that's kind of an interesting one too.
16:36I think some people, I think there's some spots where you could push that.
16:41That is a little messy when we look at this ranks because, you know, if you don't like Montgomery, he is ranked
16:47lower, but that doesn't mean that's not like what your rank is.
16:51But I like the Travion Henderson one. Pat, you actually have the name that I pinpointed.
16:56Not that I'm going to be injecting all of my stuff into this episode.
17:00This is about you guys. But when I was looking through, I was like, this is the one that would be my
17:07tier break where it's like anything after him is my RB2.
17:11I probably don't feel great. So you're cut off.
17:13The tier break for you for your RB2 is who?
17:16It's Tony Pollard. And by the way, you are Mr.
17:20Running Back. You should be injecting your points of view into this conversation.
17:24So I had to do one thing right at some point.
17:27And that was one of them. Yeah. So Tony Pollard sits at running back 28 in our ECR.
17:33And beneath him are guys like Chuba Hubbard, who I think might be the second best running back on the Panthers roster right now behind Jonathan Brooks.
17:41Wouldn't be surprised if Brooks won that job by October.
17:44Ramondre Stevenson, who I'm kind of expecting to be passed up by Travion Henderson at some point.
17:49Rico Dowdle, who I think is probably the RB2 in Pittsburgh.
17:53So I don't want to go past Pollard in a league where you're required to start three wide receivers.
17:58In a league where you only have to start two, I want a better running back two than Tony Pollard.
18:05I would probably take it up to someone like David Montgomery, who volume.
18:09I know there are concerns. Tara raises the good point about the Houston offensive line, which is certainly not one of the better ones in the league.
18:17I'd like someone better than Tony Pollard if I only have to start two wide receivers and I'm paying a little more attention to the running back position.
18:26I like the caveat you put in, but I still think like even in the two wide receiver thing, you can kind
18:32of hold that because it's like if you did the two wide receivers and you got two great ones, you are probably
18:39going to also have a really good tight end.
18:42And then what have you invested in the early quarterback market?
18:45Like so now you're building a scenario. It's like could Tony Pollard still be good even in that format?
18:51I think that works. I think that would be one where it still works.
18:56I like the caveat, though, because I do agree.
18:58Like if I didn't invest in like a super high tight end or a quarterback and I had a couple of wide
19:05receivers in there for two wide out, I got to have a better RB2 than Tony Pollard.
19:10So it becomes subjective. But that's where the things can, you know, they can just kind of change.
19:16Terry, do you have one more note you wanted to put?
19:19Yeah, yeah. You know, kind of touching on what Pat was saying about that range.
19:24The reason why, as you mentioned, like I can push it back to Jadarian Prices.
19:29There's a lot of guys that I could feel comfortable with as we get into training camp because there's a whole list of like what ifs, right?
19:37Like Pat mentioned, you know, are we going to have Travion Henderson, you know, take over completely and push David Montgomery back?
19:44You come further back into this RB3 territory. You know, the questions are, can Basial Tootin be a three down back?
19:50Jadarian Price, what's the timeline on Zach Charbonnet? So there's a lot of guys in that range where over the next like
19:57four weeks or so, I can see myself getting to the point where I'm comfortable with them as my RB2.
20:03So I could push it down a little bit.
20:06But right now I am playing it a little bit conservative there.
20:10Super safe to talk about too. Like things are going to change and like we're going to change, you know, as they go.
20:17Like we're going to make adjustments and it's okay for valuations and stuff to change.
20:22And those lines could, you know, I have like squirminess about Travion Henderson.
20:26Maybe that's going to go away in like a month.
20:29Like we're going to see where it goes. But as we're sitting right now, it's a fair point to where the RB break is.
20:36All right. Last up on the running backs here, a little bit of a turn where we've been talking about because we've
20:43been focusing on what's the last point before you screw up.
20:46Where did you screw up? RB3 slash bench running back.
20:49Who is the running back where you messed up and the tier is going to stop or start right before them?
20:56You guys agree. You guys have the same player.
20:59So we'll get both of your takes on it.
21:01Pat, why don't you start up? What is the RB3 mess up and who is the player right above?
21:07That is the guy that you can just hold hopes to that this is going to work out at RB.
21:13Chris Rodriguez is the mess up running back three.
21:16I think he's RB43 and ECR. I just I don't want a guy who can't catch passes.
21:22That's my RB3. And Tyrone Tracy just above him.
21:24And Tyrone Tracy, we're on shaky ground there, too, especially if Cam Scadaboo does turn out to be healthy enough to handle
21:31workhorse duty right from the start in week one.
21:34But, yeah, Chris Rodriguez, that's kind of a line I don't want to cross in a three man backfield as the guy who doesn't catch any passes.
21:42And, Terry, you agree. I think that's really interesting.
21:45By the way, I didn't really jump in and give you guys more of the tiers because Chris Rodriguez comes in at 43.
21:5243. Yeah, I had to really look down. That's tier six.
21:56So, I mean, before that, you know, in that tier four, you've got roughly nine running backs.
22:01Then you've got it looks eyeing at about 11 in tier five.
22:04And tier six is just a wide open group that goes out the side of the 50s.
22:10Tyrone Tracy right above Jonathan Brooks. For being fair, I'd probably say like Jonathan Brooks at 41.
22:15Like everybody wants to draft him. That's probably that spot.
22:18But it's very funny that you guys both pinpoint Chris Rodriguez as the spot where you guys messed up.
22:24Yeah, it's funny for me because I see what Pat is saying.
22:28Like we're on shaky ground with Tyrone Tracy. And quite frankly, I believe that, hey, we probably get like a four week
22:34ramp up period for volume to barely be increased on Cam Scadaboo.
22:38But even then, so you can make the argument like, OK, well, if Scadaboo were to go down with another injury, like
22:45we know exactly what we would be getting out of Tyrone Tracy Jr.
22:49And there's where the receiving upside would come in.
22:52You know, if Basial Tootin were to go down with an injury, at no point is three down back territory going to exist for Chris Rodriguez.
23:00So logically, that makes sense why that would be the specific cutoff, because you can make an argument for everyone above there.
23:07Now, they've all got their different issues, right? You look at a J.K.
23:11Dobbins and you say, OK, not a three down back, but excellent offense, goal line opportunities, but injury risk there.
23:17There's the obvious receiving backs there with Kenneth Gamewell and Rashad White, right?
23:21And Aaron Jones. But you can make arguments for people once you get to that Chris Rodriguez point is where I think you start getting into the territory.
23:29We're no longer making arguments. You would just only be identifying guys at this point like, hey, I just want to find
23:36a handcuff because I know that none of these guys are going to really be providing any kind of usable RB3 type of workload for me.
23:44This is Tav Ramos from Inside American Soccer. And this summer, Topgolf is turning into the ultimate soccer destination.
23:50They're not just throwing games on in the background.
23:53Topgolf is going all in on soccer. They've got a new soccer themed game you can play with your group, special in-venue
24:00activations, exclusive food and drink items inspired by the global game.
24:03And at more than 60 locations, they've even installed full size soccer goals so you can try to hit golf balls right into the net.
24:11And every match all summer long will be on throughout the venue.

24:39And talk about a perfect partnership. I'm here to tell you about protecting your end zone with dude wipes.
24:45If you're still wiping with toilet paper, you need to listen up.
24:48Dude wipes are a wet, extra large, flushable wipe that leave nothing behind in your behind.
24:53Because they are wet and we all know wetter cleans better.
24:57Unlike dry wiping with toilet paper, dude wipes clear instead of smear.
25:00Goodbye, dingleberries. Goodbye, itch and irritation. Plus, if you take Gronk size grumpies, or as I like to call them, gronkies, baby wipes won't do.
25:08You need extra big dude wipes to handle the job.
25:11And they come in different scents and pack sizes, including a single use on-the-go pack that you can take wherever you go for that home field advantage.
25:19So don't fumble the ball with toilet paper. Stop being an a-hole to your b-hole and start using Dude Wipes.
25:26Available on Amazon and major retailers nationwide. Dude Wipes.

26:25RB tiers from one, two, and the break where you screwed up.
26:29That is Tara and Pat's take. We got more with wide receivers.
26:32But if you guys want to make the best decisions, if you guys want to be able to utilize and start putting
26:39these tiers to work for you, you guys can build your own boards at fantasypros.com slash sheet.
26:44Our cheat sheet creator lets you combine the specific rankings of experts you trust.
26:49So you can go and put Pat and Tara together.
26:52You can get a rank in. You can manually drag and drop your favorite targets into custom tiers.
26:57And then you can tag your must-have so you can see exactly when a talent tier is drying up in real time.
27:04Stop looking at flat lists and build a real board at fantasypros.com slash sheet or on the Fantasy Pros app.
27:10Do it today. Let's go to wide receivers. So I will do a better job of audibly giving people the tiers on the podcast side.
27:18Tier one, like running back, it's got four. We've got Jamar Chase, Puka Nakua, Jackson Smith and Jigba, and Amonra St.
27:25Brown. I think it's interesting too because I feel like in drafts and talking with people, there seems to be a little
27:31bit more of a tier ending after JSN. So seeing Amonra in here is kind of fun.
27:37Tier two is CeeDee Lamb, Justin Jefferson, Drake London, Nico Collins, AJ Brown, and George Pickens.
27:42So 10 players represent the first two tiers. Tier three, Chris Olave, Rasheed Rice, Devonta Smith, Tedrowa McMillan, Tee Higgins, Zay Flowers,
27:48Garrett Wilson, Ladd McConkie, and Malik Neighbors. I will stop there, but I will return.
27:53Those are the first three tiers of wide receivers.
27:56So like we did with running backs, where does the tier break for your wide receiver one where you've become uncomfortable?
28:02Tara, we're going to start with you. So the last wide receiver, that tier breaks with who?
28:08It breaks with Chris Olave. I do trust him.
28:10I know Jordan Tyson being in there does make things a little bit more complicated there.
28:15But at the end of the day, the pass catchers last year, it was literally just Chris Olave and Juwan Johnson.
28:22There was once Rasheed Shahid left, right? There was just no one in the back half of the season when Tyler Shuck was starting that was contributing.
28:30They couldn't even get consistent production out of the running backs there.
28:34So it was all very tilted. So there's more opportunity here for the inclusion of another wide receiver as a wide receiver
28:41two, and even really one as a wide receiver three, right?
28:44This offense is really going to flesh itself out.
28:47And more so than anything, we know this is a Kellen Moore offense.
28:51It's high volume. He loves to pass. At no point is he going to push this down to where we're seeing Tyler
28:58Shuck consistently throwing 20, 22 times a game. No, we should be very comfortable that we're going to be well in the
29:0430 attempt game, 30 attempts per game range with Tyler Shuck under Kellen Moore.
29:09They've done nothing but add into the system in terms of making this the best environment for Tyler Shuck to thrive.
29:15So I'm still with there. I'm being cautious and not getting too overly optimistic there because you can't always see changes as
29:22we get into these sophomore seasons for these quarterbacks here.
29:25But I loved what I saw at the back half of last season.
29:29I do have to cut it off there at Olave because while I am drafting Rishi Rice and hoping that he can
29:36actually stay on the field, the reality is that with that level of risk, you don't want it as your wide receiver one.
29:43So for me, the cutoff is Olave of guys that I know the type of production that they can put up in
29:50general and the consistency of them on the field.
29:53And then after that, you get into the territory of guys that either have legal issues, changing offenses, questionable volume situations, right?
29:59And then you kind of teeter in the wide receiver two area there.
30:03I think it's interesting. Chris Olave is the beginning of tier three on Fantasy Pro's ECR.
30:08So there's kind of a tier break where you're bumping it down a little bit, especially if you want to consider the
30:15tier one and two wide receivers as wide receiver ones in your offense.
30:19Kind of agree with you when you are bringing up Rishi Rice and like that, that might be one that I slightly toe the line with.
30:27Maybe I can see it. We're starting to build scenarios and it gets out of the question where I'm blankly just asking, where are you uncomfortable?
30:35We could build scenarios where it's like you have two really strong running backs, you know, and then all of a sudden
30:42you are forced into maybe like Teddero and McMillan being a wide receiver one.
30:46Is that the worst thing in the world? Maybe not.
30:50Maybe you went running back tight end and then you're forced into that.
30:54So you can make some of those scenarios, but like the truest sense Chris Olave, I think that's a good one.
31:00Pat, you're going to bump it up a tiny bit higher with a little bit of a step up.
31:06You get uncomfortable after the top 10 wide receivers for your wide receiver one.
31:10So who's your name? George Pickens. But I was really close to parroting Tara and saying Chris Olave here.
31:16And I think the difference for me, I like Tyler Shuck.
31:19I'm tentatively cautiously optimistic about Tyler Shuck. And I don't want to be seen as trashing him because I know Saints fans
31:26think he is a mashup of Drew Brees and Archie Manning and any slander against Tyler Shuck is not going to be
31:33well accepted by fans down in the Bayou. But you're going to lose all that good grace you get in the comments where people love you.
31:41Exactly. Exactly. So I'm optimistic about Shuck, but I do realize like a lot of his production down the stretch came against lesser defenses.
31:49You didn't have to walk through fire with that schedule late in the season.
31:53So I'm going to go one spot higher with George Pickens, who's tied to Dak Prescott, who I have zero questions about
32:00as far as just a pure passer. And what Pickens did last year, I mean, we kind of thought he was one
32:06thing coming from Pittsburgh, sort of a contested catch specialist, maybe limited, you know, sort of a knockoff of DK Metcalf.
32:13I think he showed last year he could be more than that and be an all around receiver, whether CeeDee Lamb was on the field or not.
32:21Like he produced with Lamb on the field and without Lamb on the field.
32:26So everything looked pretty, pretty good there. And yeah, I would feel confident with him, especially if I'm going with sort of
32:32a, you know, bruiser running back out of the gate with Gibbs or B.
32:37John Robinson at the top of round one Pickens comes back to me at the turn round two, round three.
32:43I'm pretty happy there. An interesting exercise. I was just kind of thinking about if people like this episode and they like
32:50conceptually what we're talking about here, because obviously tiers, the tiers like on ECR are not built around like this is your only wide receiver one.
32:58It's just tiers of value and stuff like that.
33:01But a cool experiment to play around with, if you guys maybe are a little bit more tier based than rank based
33:07is take those cheat sheets and turn your tiers into wide receiver one tier.
33:12And then now tier one is 11 or 10 wide receivers deep and you just rank it how you want.
33:18And then you just physically look at it in tiers instead of tier one, two, three, four, five, six, seven and blah, blah, blah.
33:25You just say, this is the wide receiver one tier.
33:28This is the wide receiver two tier. And this is a wide receiver three and simplify it might be a good use case.
33:35If you guys want to play around with a cheat sheet, another little plug for that.
33:40But let's go to wide receiver twos now. So Chris Olave and George Pickens, those are the breaks for your wide receiver ones.
33:48You think that the tier breaks for your wide receiver two at this spot.
33:52So George Pickens is technically in this little experiment, Pat, paired with who?
33:56Preferably Terry McLaurin, who is in ECR wide receiver 22.
33:59I don't really want to go past that point.
34:02Beyond him is Luther Burden, who I like a lot for dynasty.
34:05I'm just not sure what it's going to look like this year.
34:09And Devante Adams, who Adams had a lot of injuries.
34:12And maybe that's the reason that the production was so dependent on touchdowns last year.
34:17I still think Adams is really good. Jamison Williams, I like too.
34:21But I would ideally like to get a wide receiver two who is Terry McLaurin or better.
34:26And I should probably phrase it a little bit better where I'm like, hey, you're pairing him with him.
34:32Like that's the last break. That is technically the break.
34:35So that's the worst case scenario for your wide receiver one and two is George Pickens.
34:40And Terry McLaurin is probably a better way to say it.
34:43Tara, I'm definitely with you on this one. This is kind of like one of those guys that I'm targeting.
34:49You have, as you put, technically this guy. So your wide receiver two, it gets bad if you get past this guy.
34:56It's a Mecca Abuka. Yeah, that's my happy place right there.
35:00I'm making sure that I don't let a Mecca Abuka slide past me.
35:04Because no offense to Jalen Waddell. I just think, you know, when we're looking at a Mecca Abuka, I love the potential
35:10trajectory for him in this bounce back Tampa Bay offense here.
35:14It's funny because I agree with Pat. Like there are guys that are on the other side of that tier for me who I am theoretically okay with.
35:22And Terry McLaurin is definitely one of those guys.
35:25Like if I were to look for, if I miss out on a Mecca Abuka and I'm like, oh crap, I need a wide receiver two.
35:33Terry McLaurin is the next one of value that I would turn to.
35:37But when it comes to a Mecca Abuka, I'm just extremely excited for the bounce back potential that we have here.
35:44And the promise that we saw at the beginning of the season here.
35:48It would be one thing because I know there was a significant drop off there.
35:52We saw the massive upside at the beginning of the season.
35:56Five touchdowns at the beginning of the season through the first five weeks.
36:00Multiple games over 100 yards. It was beautiful. He did it alongside Mike Evans.
36:04He did it when Mike Evans got injured. So we got a nice little preview there of him as the wide receiver one.
36:11And then everything went. And mind you, that was also during a very difficult defensive stretch as well against teams like Houston
36:18and the Jets before all of their crazy trades.
36:21Philadelphia, Seattle. So that little sample size, it's a tiny sample size, but I'm completely buying into it.
36:26It would be one thing if we saw, you know, just a Mecca Abuka drop off at the back half of the season.
36:33And there was somebody, another receiver that had stepped in and maybe Jalen McMill had stepped in and just made, you know, some high upside.
36:41And we were like, why is, why is the Mecca Abuka kind of fading here?
36:46But that didn't happen. It was the entire Bucs offense that just went sideways.
36:50They clearly had an offensive coordinator issue that held them back and over his head.
36:55They've upgraded, in my opinion, with Zach Robinson. Baker Mayfield was dealing with injuries.
36:59So everything is pointing upwards here. That's the point at which I like the stop off there of saying, hey, this and
37:06above generally with, you know, a couple of exceptions there are guys that I trust to have a guaranteed level of high volume.
37:13So that's the break off for me. But again, I am okay with targeting Terry McLaurin after that as a clear wide
37:20receiver one in the first look for Jane Daniels.
37:23And then I also don't technically mind Christian Watson as well.
37:26It's riskier. But again, it does depend on the type of build that you are doing.
37:31I like to lean a little bit, ride receiver heavier there.
37:34So getting that kind of cutoff right at a Mecca Abuka is my preference.
37:39But if you need to push back a little bit further, I don't mind pushing back to even a Christian Watson there.
37:45And both of your guys show up in tier four.
37:49So I had left off at wide receiver 19, which is Malik Neighbors at the end of tier three.
37:54A Mecca Abuka is wide receiver 20, the start of tier four.
37:58Jalen Waddell, Terry McLaurin. So your wide receiver two, both of your cutoffs are inside the top 24 of wide receivers overall.
38:05Luther Burden at 23. Devonta Adams at 24. Jamison Williams, Mike Evans, Christian Watson, who we mentioned at 27.
38:11That might be like a little bit of an uncomfortable zone, but you guys might stretch it.
38:16DJ Moore and Roma Dunze. That ends out tier four, 29 wide receivers through.
38:20I will mention this next tier and I will give you last names so I don't go forever here, but it'll be relevant to our last question.
38:29Tier five is deep. Just me. I'm not even sure if the break happened even quite here as I was putting these
38:36in, but you've got 30 down to 46. It's a giant tier.
38:39And that technically does represent wide receiver three from a rank perspective into flex.
38:44But what level comfort will you guys have? At 30 is Carnell Tate, followed by Marvin Harrison, Pierce.
38:49We've got Metcalf at 33. Thomas Sutton, Godwin. I do stop there for a second to say that is 36.
38:55So if you just look at 36 wide receivers in a 12 man, that's kind of the cutoff of the starters.
39:02Parker Washington's at 37. We've got Jordan Tyson, Michael Wilson, Kai Lemon, Pittman, Quinton Johnson, Myers, Pearsall, Wanda Robinson, Jordan Addison.
39:08That's under 46. That is tier five. That's a big tier.
39:12So where is the line at the wide receiver three where you messed up?
39:16So this could be a flex in those two wide receivers.
39:19This could be the wide receiver three. So unlike what I asked for the last two questions, what's the line?
39:26This is where did you mess up the line?
39:28You crossed it. And Tara, we will go to you.
39:31What line is crossed where it's a big old screw up?
39:35Yeah. So you're asking where you messed up. I actually messed up.
39:39I put Parker Washington as my guy. That is not where you mess up.
39:43I meant it as the guy that I am last okay with here.
39:47So technically speaking. That's good. Well, let me ask you this.
39:50Is Jordan Tyson then the player after Parker Washington?
39:53Is that technically the mess up for your wide receiver three?
39:56Yeah, it is a little bit just because that is where you start dipping into the unknown rookie territory where I am
40:03perfectly okay with drafting those guys to be high end starters on my bench.
40:08Right. I don't know if right off the bat there, how comfortable I would feel with is that being my wide receiver
40:14three or my flex in a deeper league, obviously, for sure.
40:18But if you're a little bit more shallow in terms of your starting lineup there, I would like a more established veteran.
40:25So I would cut it right off there in terms of you're dipping into those, you know, like Jordan Tyson.
40:31You then get to Michael Wilson. Makai Lemon is right after there.
40:34So I like these guys. But again, they are technically these young guys are the wide receiver twos on their team.
40:41And they don't have that same potential level of being the first look in the offense, particularly that we saw with a
40:48Parker Washington in the back half of the season.
40:51Now we do have to, you know, get to the point where we have confirmed like Travis Hunter is not going to be a factor.
40:58And we 100 percent have Parker Washington starting there in the slot.
41:02But as long as that happens there, we know what that looked like in the back half of the season.
41:08He was putting up multiple, multiple games of top 20 performances.
41:12So that's the comfort level. And then you start to dip into the guys who can ascend and they can be promising.
41:18And I'm cool with it. But just like don't rely on that 100 percent in your starting area.
41:24I will say, technically speaking, I do have Quentin Johnston higher.
41:27So he would fall into this tier of comfort for me.
41:31I love it. Hey, what a pro. You were able to like get like four guys in there for this question.
41:37And you did a great job with that. So I love that breakthrough.
41:41So Tyson, maybe a little uncomfortable level. Pat, where were you going to go with this one?
41:46Because let's see, Parker Washington was, I believe, 37.
41:49So he was actually like right on that Godwin break where I had, are you going further?
41:55Are you going a little bit higher? What is your mess up at the wide receiver three spot?
42:00It's Michael Wilson. And just as Tara threw a lifeline to Quentin Johnston, I want to throw one to Makai Lemon and
42:07bring him up into my circle of trust. I just any of those three rookie receivers I'm OK with as my like wide receiver three.
42:15Michael Wilson, it was just the splits were so stark for Michael Wilson with him not having Marvin Harrison Jr.
42:21on the field versus having Marvin Harrison Jr. on the field.
42:24When MHJ was around, Michael Wilson just didn't do much at all.
42:28Didn't see a lot of targets. When Harrison Jr.
42:31was out, I mean, he got peppered with targets, did a good job.
42:35I don't want to ignore the fact that he was good in those games that Marvin Harrison Jr.
42:40didn't play. Then again, the Cardinals led the NFL in pass attempts last year, and they just drafted a running back third overall.
42:47They're not going to lead the league in pass attempts again.
42:51They could have 100, 120 fewer pass attempts than they had last year.
42:55And I kind of don't want the number three target in that offense.
42:59They're also going to get some starts out of Carson Beck in all likelihood this year.
43:04So yeah, Michael Wilson is my wide receiver three.
43:07No, no thanks. And that's 39 on ECR here.
43:09So pressing it, pushing a little bit. And again, they adjust pending like two wide receiver, three wide receiver.
43:15You're putting guys in flex. Like that's where the line starts to get crowded.
43:20There's still some interesting names that are down there, but there's like that uncomfortable level.
43:24So that is where the tier breaks. If I can add real quick, Parker Washington, want to echo Tara's praise for him.
43:31113 and a half yards per game in his last four games last year.
43:35And I don't want to be, I don't want to people to have people think this is recency bias.
43:41Maybe it is, but he was pretty spectacular last year.
43:44I mean, he was one of the leaders in contested catches last year just because he was a sixth round draft pick.
43:51Like, I mean, I feel better about Parker Washington than I do about Brian Thomas Jr.
43:56This year, like I think Parker Washington is for real support for today's episode comes from square the system powering, like half the places I go.

45:16Let's go to quarterbacks. We are going to be breaking through the tears and what makes us uncomfortable.
45:22And I'm going to push this a little bit as well, not just to QB one, but I want to get a little super flex talk in here.
45:31So let's talk about these tears. As the board shows us tier one has Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, and Drake may.
45:37We break to tier two where we go, um, six more quarterbacks, Joe Burrow, Jaden Daniels, Jalen hurts, Caleb Williams, Justin Herbert, and Trevor Lawrence tier three.
45:45Dak Prescott, Jackson dart Brock Purdy is 12. So that's maybe, you know, that top 12 starting quarterbacks Bo Nix at 13,
45:52Patrick Mahomes, Matthew Stafford, and Jared Goff. We'll make a little stoppy there because we went 16 quarterbacks in, and let's talk
45:59about the comfort level in a single quarterback for a QB one, whether you like the high end guys or you want to wait.
46:06It's often, often discussed. And Pat, what has become your comfort line?
46:10It's a little tough. I mean, I'm spoiling the tight end stuff, but if anyone's listened to anything, Pat's done, they know Pat wants himself some tight ends.
46:19So you're going to probably prioritize the higher tight ends before quarterback.
46:22So you might go deeper names, but where is the tier line for your QB one this year?
46:28It's such a good year to wait at quarterback that I'm willing to wait until like quarterback 18 and Jordan Love there
46:35if I need to, or QB 17, Kyler Murray.
46:38Like if I'm in one of those crazy one QB leagues where people are drafting backups and I'm waiting so long that
46:44people are drafting backups before I get my first guy, I'm okay with that.
46:49But where I would last feel good about my QB one, I think would be Brock Purdy and the Brock Purdy Bo Nix cutoff.
46:56I'd feel good about Purdy. Who's our QB 12 and ECR a little less good about Bo Nix who led the league
47:03in past attempts last year and still didn't get to 4,000 yards.
47:07So just kind of a comfort thing there. And below Bo Nix, Patrick Mahomes coming off the injury, Matthew Stafford who probably
47:13can't maintain that sort of touchdown rate for two straight seasons.
47:17Yeah. So Purdy and with Purdy, it's true QB one cutoff since he's a QB 12.
47:22Tara, same question. Single quarterback QB one. We've got three tiers that go 16 quarterbacks deep.
47:27The top two tiers go nine quarterbacks deep. But where does the tier break for your comfort level for your QB one this year?
47:34Yeah. Like Pat, I push it back a little further.
47:37I mean, mine is mine's not necessarily tight ends, but you guys saw that I was obviously cutting off my RB twos
47:44and wide receiver twos pretty early there. So that would indicate I am definitely pushing quarterback there a little bit later.
47:51So I'm okay with dipping into the depth there and pushing back to a, to a Matt Stafford borderline Derek golf level.
47:57Typically Jared golf would not be included in that for me, but I'm allowing myself, um, the potential to shift to Jared
48:04golf this season, because I do, um, significantly like the back half of the season for him.
48:09Spoiler alert, lots of domes and good weather games.
48:12So, um, then when I saw the number of domes on the season, I was like, okay, buddy, you can kind of come into this territory.
48:20Um, but kind of cutting it off right there is where I feel comfortable.
48:25Again, you know, like, like Pat, I like to, in a one QB league, um, extended out a little bit and kind
48:31of play based off how the league is drafting.
48:34If everyone is collectively pushing quarterback back, then yeah, maybe I can jump in a little early and I might grab one
48:41of those tier two guys, probably not going to, you know, unless the build is, uh, for a very specific reason dip into the very elite guys.
48:49But there's a lot of good guys in that QB, um, in that, uh, tier two range that I would feel good about.
48:56But otherwise, if they're being very aggressive with quarterback, um, I'm not going to be pressured into drafting quarterback and I can push it back further.
49:04And I mean, if you have to push it back a little more, um, and dip into like Pat mentioned, his, you
49:11know, guy would be, you know, dipping back into the Jordan love range.
49:15Mine would be dipping back into the Tyler shop range, right.
49:19Um, rather than forcing myself to take like a Jackson dart, who I don't feel super comfortable with just pushing back a
49:25little and saying, Hey, I've got the flexibility here.
49:28QB one pushes back a little further into the Stafford golf area.
49:32And there's even some guys later that have real upside that you could feel comfortable with streaming as well.
49:38I kind of like a combination of you guys.
49:41It's like Stafford and Purdy. Those are put those two together is like the guys that I really like that I'm willing to drop down.
49:48So now let's push it to super flex. Let's see what changes.
49:52If anything changes. Now we're talking about a super flex where you're going to be taking two quarterbacks.
49:58You guys are definitely willing to push the limits in a single, but what changes here when we get into super flex terror, we'll start with you.
50:06How much higher, or maybe it doesn't at all.
50:09Does that QB one caught off in a super flex become?
50:12Yeah, it goes higher. Super flex is very different for me.
50:15I'm not playing around. I don't want that disadvantage and the uncertainty.
50:19And you can't do the whole stream thing in super flex.
50:23You need to get your guy. So I'm not playing around games and I'm grabbing a top 10 quarterback here.
50:29My cutoff would be Justin Herbert so that I can ensure that, hey, I've got a strong quarterback here that I know
50:36I can rely on for a certain level of volume.
50:39And then, hey, to be fair, you could say that Dak and Brock Purdy fit the mold too.
50:44They're very close here. But again, I just feel more comfortable with the guaranteed volume, especially with the upgraded system there, the offensive line getting healthy.
50:52That's my nice little cutoff area. There are some guys afterwards that, you know, hey, we could make it work.
50:58But, you know, you start to get into more of that risky category with like, you know, Patrick Mahomes, love him.
51:05You know, we would typically consider him in that tier, but he's coming off of an injury, right?
51:10As well. So cutting off right there at Justin Herbert ensures that I don't get into kind of funny business range in terms of volatility.
51:18So that's my comfort level in Superflex. And that is QB8.
51:22That's in tier two. QB8 is the cutoff here for the comfort level of QB1 for Tara.
51:27Pat, what about you? You're going to push the limits a little bit more.
51:31You're going to still stay in the Brock Purdy range.
51:34Who's your QB1 in Superflex, that line? I'd still be OK with Purdy, but I'll push it up just a little bit too.
51:41Ideally, Dak Prescott or better. Dak is QB10 in ECR.
51:44OK, so easy push. Now, if we kind of push it down into the Superflex QB2, because presumably you're not going to let that get too crazy here.
51:53How much further down? I think that's always the dance people have in Superflex is like, are you willing to push that
52:00QB2 down for value so you can grab all those positional players?
52:04Do you want to be a high in, you know, quarterback one, quarterback two?
52:08Pat, we will start with you. So you're pairing your higher end Dak Prescott with where's the line of QB2 in Superflex for you?
52:15I do want to get my fair share of running backs and wide receivers and maybe a good tight end in Superflex.
52:22So I'm willing to push it down to the one step above a warm body range with Sam Darnold.
52:28And right below Sam Darnold in ECR is Cam Ward.
52:31That's where I start to get a little squeamish.
52:34And I should probably give the numbers there for tier four.
52:37Kyler Murray comes in at 17. Jordan Love at 18.
52:40Baker Mayfield at 19. Tyler Shuck at 20. Malik Willis at 21.
52:44We still haven't gotten to Darnold. 22 is CJ Stroud.
52:47Now Darnold at 23. Cam Ward, Daniel Jones. Those are the top 25 quarterbacks going into tier four.
52:53So you will let it dip down into the tier four range there.
52:57But your cutoff at QB2 is our QB23. So then same question, Tara, for you.
53:01Your cutoff Superflex QB2 is who? I like Pat's mention of the warm body there.
53:06Mine's a warm body, but the body's got to have very active legs.
53:10So my cutoff there is Malik Willis. Yeah, that Malik Willis, Tyler Shuck range.
53:14Malik Willis at the very least gives you the ability.
53:17I've got mild Justin Fields PTSD. I didn't draft into it.
53:21But watching other people go through that made me feel like I was experiencing it.
53:25So you do have to be aware that there's always the possibility that that can technically happen there with Malik Willis.
53:32He can get into that same kind of Justin Fields thing that we dealt with last year.
53:37But the rushing upside does make him a good viable option to kind of cut off there.
53:42So that's my cutoff. I'll leave it at the guys that have the rushing upside there as my QB2s.
53:48But I will say I do like certain quarterbacks that are in that kind of QB3 range.
53:54And Daniel Jones is my guy if you have to dip back a little bit further.
53:59I like it. Malik Willis is probably mine here as well.
54:02All right, tight ends. Finish it off. It's coming up here.

55:15Final up here is our tight ends. We have only two things we're going to hit on tight end.
55:20We are going to do a little sprinkle on tight end premium, and then we're going to talk about the obvious tight end ones.
55:28So our tiers, we actually have four tight ends in tier one here, even though I think people have treated this a
55:35little bit more like it's just Bowers or McBride, and then you move forward.
55:39But tier one is Brock Bowers, McBride, Loveland, and Tyler Warren.
55:42Here's your top four. Tier two, we have only four more tight ends with Tucker Craft, Harold Fannin Jr., Kyle Pitts, and Sam Laporta.
55:50Tier three, we go 9-15. Travis Kelsey, George Kittle, Dalton Kincaid, Ferguson, Likely, Goddard, Andrews, and just so I don't miss it,
55:57tier four is a bunch more with Juwan Jennings, Strange, Gadsden, Henry, Okonkwo, Schultz, Hawkinson, Barner, Shadik, and Haim.
56:02That is 25 tight ends that are representative of four tiers.
56:06But what is the true tier break where things get wonky for your tight end one?
56:11Pat, you are Mr. Tight End this year. You have been on record.
56:15You want Bowers. You want the top guys. But is that the true break off for you?
56:20What level is going to make you or where is the last guy before you get really uncomfortable with your starting tight end?
56:27Yeah, I really want to get one of Bowers, Loveland, McBride, Warren, or Tucker Craft.
56:32But I'd also be cool with any of Fannin, Pitts, or Laporta.
56:36It's after those eight where I start to get uncomfortable.
56:39And that would be, I guess, Travis Kelsey at Tight End 9 who might be...
56:43Some of the numbers last year suggest we've kind of already gone over a cliff with Travis Kelsey.
56:49Yeah, it's interesting. I know I just did a show with Erickson, and I know Erickson's very pro-Laporta.
56:54And there's been a lot of pro-Laporta. Maybe it was even D-Bro, I think, that was really high Laporta.
57:00But a lot of... So, okay, so technically Laporta.
57:03I might have written that down weird, too. So Laporta is like the last tight end that you feel that real comfort level with, which is tier two.
57:12Kelsey starts to create the icks, the scaries here.
57:14So same thing. Your comfort level, Tara, of the break of tight end one.
57:19Is this either this is the guy that scares you, or is this the guy that you...
57:24The last one before you become super uncomfortable? It's my last call.
57:28My last call is Kyle Pitts. And the cutoff there for me is just with...
57:32I don't dislike Sam Laporta, and I'm very interested to see his potential upgrade here with the change in offensive coordinator, because
57:39obviously, you know, he has had a wonderful experience with heavily targeting the tight ends.
57:44But it does concern me that when I look at Kyle Pitts and everyone else above him, right, I, from a pass-catching
57:51perspective, excluding the running backs on their teams, right, you look at them and you know that they are one of the top two looks in their offense.
57:59And that's my comfort level. The problem is with Sam Laporta and why he's the cutoff there is that we know for
58:06a fact there's Amon Ra and Jamison Williams where he kind of runs in tandem with, but it feels like we just
58:13keep pushing forward with Jamison Williams, especially with, again, I mentioned we should have an opportunity for Jared Goff to air the
58:20ball out a little bit more with this schedule, so possibly a little bit more pushing forward with him.
58:26So that's my issue, unfortunately, with Sam Laporta being the cutoff because he is technically the third look there.
58:31Kyle Pitts, I feel good about him. I know we have tried to feel good about Kyle Pitts for years and years
58:38now, but in Kevin Stefanski, oddly enough, we do trust when it comes to tight ends.
58:43He loves targeting them at a 30% clip rate.
58:46He should be very excited to just send bombs away to Kyle Pitts this year, so probably a guaranteed 100 targets there with him.
58:53And that's 7 and 8, by the way. You guys, your comfort level breaks at 7 and 8.
58:59We're quarterback. You guys are going down to 18.
59:02So again, like, you know, where especially you two specifically are finding your breaks, it is much more in the higher tight
59:09ends than it is in that quarterback space. So if you look at these tier breaks and how your construction builds are, it's kind of like coming to.
59:17But just as a bonus here, if you do play in a tight end premium, this is the odd oddity of the question.
59:24If you play in a tight end premium, you're going to have more than one tight end.
59:30And you're going to probably have a tight end that's going to play in flex because likely that is going to be like 1.5 per reception.
59:38So the bonus question is, what is your comfort break in a tight end premium for a second tight end?
59:44Presuming you're going to want to get another guy in here.
59:47So Pat, what do you think here? Tight end premium, tight end two.
59:51Maybe like Brenton Strange at tight end 17. But the weird thing is in tight end premium, I'm actually more willing to
59:58punt the position because it gets pushed up, I think, more than it should.
60:02People tend to think tight ends are one and a half times as valuable.
60:07They're not because it's only the receptions that are giving you one and a half times what you would normally get, not the yardage and touchdowns.
60:15That's the same reward. So it's really like they're 1.2 times more valuable in most cases than they would.
60:21So it just seems like their value is created at other positions because people get so tight end crazed in tight end premium drafts.
60:28And then probably your tight end one, it kind of stays the same then?
60:32You probably don't change your break? Yeah. Laporta up in a premium?
60:36No, I'd be willing to go down to more the George Kittle, even like Mark Andrews.
60:41But I'll probably fire back with the tight end two pretty quickly after that.
60:45OK, I like it. Tara, same thing then. That second tight end in a premium space.
60:50What is the tier break for you? Yeah, it is Chigo Conquo with me.
60:55Kind of similar viewpoint as Pat on that one.
60:57You know, I'm cool with pushing it back. And these are guys that I'm cool with if I miss out on the
61:04top seven and, you know, regular tight end leagues.
61:07I'm OK with dipping back into this range for streaming options as well.
61:11Looking for guys with volume like Chig, the potential to be the second look in that offense there.
61:16I don't mind an A.J. Barner as well. So, yeah, I'm OK with looking and finding some potential little sleepers back here a little further back.
61:24There you go, friends. We talk a lot about ranks and episodes and we just kind of turn it on its head
61:31and having a big focus on tiers and where they break for what positional stuff you want to do.
61:37But you guys tell us. You can drop in the comments below some of your favorite or must have breaks where you
61:44can't move past a certain player at an RB1, 2, wide receiver 1, 2.
61:48You kind of get the deal. And you can also experiment by going to fantasypros.com slash sheet.
61:54And you can create those cheat sheets where you could do something like I mentioned, where instead of just having all these
62:00different tiers, just call it wide receiver 1 and 2 and just make it real blanketed.
62:05Or you can get really granular or you can do what these guys are doing.
62:10You can also add different analysts in to kind of create what the rank is, have some fun with it, set it
62:17up, cheat sheets over at fantasypros.com slash sheet. Or you can do it on the Fantasy Pros app.
62:22That is going to do it. Fantastic job, guys.
62:25It was kind of like a crazy construction of an episode.
62:28You guys killed it. For Tara and Pat, I'm Chris Welsh.
