0:00Last week, we told you everything that's wrong with the first round of your fantasy draft. You love that video so much that we are back. Yes, we're back
0:07this week with rounds two and rounds three, our top 36 overall for you to love and to hate.
0:13>> Yeah, the first 12 or so names I felt really good about and then you really get into kind of the boom bust guys that
0:18are going to settle uh your league. So, no pressure for us today.
0:21>> Yeah, these are kind of the difference makers. And if you thought the top 12 was all out of whack, just wait till you
0:26see the uh 12 through 36 names. Speaking of Hayden, let's do a reset here at the top. Uh just so the people if you want
0:33to go and watch further conversations about our top 12, we'll just list them off here from 1 to 12. So you go first.
0:39>> I got Jir Gibbs, Puka, Nakua, Jamar Chase, Bejian Robinson. Kind of a tear break after the top four. Christian McCaffrey, Jonathan Taylor, Aman Ross,
0:46St. Brown, Jackson Smith, and Jigba.
0:48I'll call that a tear break. Then you get to Kenneth Walker, Sidi Lamb, Justin Jefferson. Now that we have uh Kyler
0:55Murray named the starting quarterback, and then number 12, Saquon Barkley.
0:58These are all rankings here at this very moment. I even pulled up the date on Tuesday, August 11th at 3:00 Eastern.
1:05And these are subject to change because uh hey, as you were saying that Pukanaku was dragged off the practice field with
1:10the trainer. So we'll see what happens if there's an update after this one.
1:13Okay, my top 12. One, Gibbs. Two, Bejian Robinson. Three, Jamar Chase. Four, Pukanakua, five, Aman Rossi Brown, six CMC, seven, Saquon Barkley, eight,
1:23Jackson Smith and Jigua. Nine, Justin Jefferson. 10, Jonathan Taylor, 11, CD Lamb, and 12, yes, I have James Cook.
1:30But Hayden, we talk about this all the time when we're drafting on the turn.
1:33Uh, we believe like those next two picks are also first round quality. So, before we get into a playerby-player discussion here, who are your picks 13 and 14?
1:43>> Devon Han, James Cook, they've just done it before. I think the next group of guys have either done it a lot and are
1:49older or haven't quite done it yet, but we feel good about them.
1:52>> We'll talk about Han here in a moment. I have Ken Walker at 13 and then Chase Brown at at 14. All right, the big
1:58conversation though starts for us together at 15 overall. I'll kick this one off because I have Omar and Hampton here. Uh, look, you and I have
2:07individual concerns maybe about his style and his game and his skills, but I'm kind of putting that to the side and
2:15focusing in on what he does well, the areas where he wins and how that's going to be accentuated attached to Mike
2:22McDaniel, who had the running back five in points per game last year, running back 11 in points per game the year
2:27before that, and then a cool running back three and four in points per game in 2023. I am simply betting on big man
2:34runs fast in an offense that allows him to not be contacted until he's beyond the line of scrimmage. And on 52 runs
2:42when Hampton was first contact beyond the line of scrimmage last year, he averaged 7.4 yards per rush, which was seventh best in the league.
2:51>> Yeah, with three or fewer yards to go, that was negative 40 rush yards over expected that 40%. But on the four plus
2:58yards to go, plus 21%, I thought he was really good. uh kind of running off tackle when his decision-m didn't have
3:04to be quite as crisp. I think that he ran a little bit t uh a little hesitant uh at times between the tackles, but
3:10this is the right offense for him. We just get him out on the perimeter and you know, it's hard to tackle a guy
3:13that's that big and that fast. Uh I have him ranked 24th overall, RB12. That is like as low as I possibly can rank him.
3:20And there's a bunch of wide receivers that I I'm kind of debating between wide receiver versus running back with Hampton. Uh I think that Kmani Vidal is
3:27a much better pass protector. I think that Keaton Mitchell is also a great fit in this offense. We've seen this repeatedly from Mike McDaniel saying
3:33that he wants to use all three of them.
3:35Obviously, this is August, you know, coach speak just hyping up all of his guys, but I would not be surprised if
3:39this is a little bit more of a threeback committee, at least compared to all the other running backs that get drafted in
3:45the second round. So, I can just kind of see this being a little bit of a thorn in a side, but at the same time, like he
3:52was a firstrounder. This offense is going to go crazy and I don't want to be completely out on him.
3:56>> Totally. too often. Maybe I focus in on my individual thoughts on a player and lose sight of like focusing on the tree
4:02versus the forest. And man, the forest is beautiful. It's glistening. It's all different colors here with with Mike McDaniel. Um, and yeah, we talked about
4:10in the show with Nate how right now the Chargers are projected for like the 15th most points. I could easily see them top
4:16five in in points. And >> 70 >> games Mike McDaniel has been a play caller. Running backs go for 10 plus
4:22yard gains on 14% of the time. That's the third best mark in the league over that span. And also how this team
4:28utilizes 21 and and 12 personnel. I think that's going to allow Marin Hampton to maybe mask some of his pass protection flaws and just get him out in
4:37a route and have Alec Ingold or a second tight end pass protect be the extra protection help there. So >> Hampton even caught five or more passes
4:45in four of his games last season. All right. Who is your 15th overall player?
4:50>> This is where I have Chase Brown. I just view him in a similarly explosive offense. I just trust Chase Brown a
4:56little bit more and at least the competition behind him is not nearly as fierce in my eyes. Uh in six games with
5:03Joe Burrow last year, he was the RB5 on RB4 usage. Over the last 21 games with Joe Burrow, he's been the RB12 on RB5
5:10usage. I think every year the Bengals offensive line just gets like one tier better. I would call them like closer to
5:15about league average. they have some like real athletic freaks up front or some really big powerful offensive lineman. He's just like really like
5:24solidified. I thought at times he was like a little bit hesitant um as a runner and didn't finish runs and I
5:29think as he's gotten a little bit older, a little bit stronger. I think that he's like really turned into like a
5:34well-rounded back. This offense is going to go absolutely crazy. Um he's the goal line guy. He's going to catch some passes. Uh there's really like nothing
5:42negative you can say other than like he's not a truly game-breaking running back. I'm here for the volume. I'm here for touchdowns. That's what he's he does
5:51whenever Joe Burrow's healthy.
5:52>> I think he has the best environment of any running back in the NFL right now.
5:57That might sound outlandish, but when you think about his role, the lack of competition, and how many points the Bengals can score every single week,
6:05>> it's definitely true. plus all five offensive linemen returning as as starters to this team. Like I previously said, he's my 14th overall player. I
6:12won't go on and on about this, but while maybe he's not the biggest back and what we perceive as, you know, a feature or a
6:19bellcow, um he did play 74% of the team snaps in the red zone last year, which was running back five on the season. So,
6:26I absolutely love me some Chase Brown this season. Okay, let's get back on track. Who's your 16th overall player?
6:31>> This where I have Derrick Henry. Um, and this is definitely discounting him because of his age and workload over the
6:38years. And like even with that discount, you really can't push him down much further than this. In fact, if you look
6:44at the live betting markets, nobody has more projected rushing touchdowns than Derrick Henry at 12 a half. Over the last two seasons as a Raven, he's been
6:52the RB5 on RB13 usage. His efficiency has been better in Baltimore than it has been with the Titans. The reason being
7:00you have Lamar Jackson to take away uh some of the threat from defensive ends and linebackers and all of a sudden his
7:06yards per carry can go up. I would say that offensive line makes me kind of nervous versus uh previous offensive lines with Lamar Jackson. So maybe I'm
7:14taking that into account as well, but still he's the RB2 and EPA per carry over the last two seasons. uh RB1 and
7:20rush yards overexected last season, you know, like I still think he's what 85 90% of himself and that's uh been really
7:29good for him. Throw in no Katon Mitchell, no Isaiah likely. Uh we'll see if he, you know, is even more involved.
7:36>> I mean, 16 touchdowns when he turned 31 years of age last year. He's also my 16th overall player. Um, it it's
7:43difficult because I want to rank him higher and maybe I just get attracted to these flashy younger objects and >> find it very difficult to rank Derrick
7:52Henry any higher than this. Uh, here's a nutso stat from the great Rich Reebar.
7:57Okay, as of right now, only nine other players in league history have as many seasons with double-digit touchdowns as Derrick Henry. But if he does it again,
8:06if he gets at least 10 touchdowns this season, he joins a club of only Jerry Rice, Leenian Tomlinson, Emtt Smith, and Randy
8:15Moss. I mean, those are truly some of the best to ever play the game. And after this season, if he just does even
8:23worse than he has in previous years, then we add Derrick Henry to that mark.
8:27And that is nuts. my my note from last year, he had the fifth most half PPR points in NFL history for an age 31
8:34running back. If he remained the fifth most uh points for a 32 year old, uh that would be about 225 fantasy points.
8:43Uh only Walter Payton and John Rigggins have scored more than the 259 fantasy points as a 32 uh or older running back.
8:50So, we're talking about like he's still that rare guy. I just threw out a stat with him and Walter Payton. Um, so I I
8:58see him still running the hills and stuff. He still looks exceptional to me.
9:01So I think he's going to hold the line for one more year here.
9:04>> Yeah. So often we talk about players when they're 31, 32 hitting the age cliff, especially with running backs.
9:09It's even earlier than this. But aliens are different. Literally, the players who are the best ever at their position often trump that, right? We saw it with
9:18Travis Kelce in around this age and he was still posting fantasy breaking seasons and Derrick Henry is still doing somewhat the same thing. They've
9:26reshuffled their offensive line. You know, they lost Tyler Linderbomb.
9:29They've hopefully improved their guard spots, you know, bringing back John Simpson, taking Vega in in round one and that was a huge Yeah, that that was a
9:38huge benefit for them because last year that was a weakness. So hopefully some combination of Danny Pinter and Etha Posich have a nice uh camp and then a
9:47good start to the season at center.
9:49Okay, Dererick Henry's our 16th ranked player, the two of us. Who's 17 for you?
9:53>> This is where I have Ashton Genty. Um you know, this is just a situation where the Raiders aren't projected for nearly
10:01as many points. That offensive line will be better this year because you return left tackle Colton Miller. Uh you add Tyler Linderbomb from Derrick Henry
10:08here. But at the same time, I still don't feel quite comfortable with the three other offensive line uh um options. Um so we'll see. Quarterback
10:16play is remaining a mystery to me with Kurt Cousins. And then I really like Fernando Mendoza, but we're talking about, you know, half of a season
10:23Fernando Mendoza and rookies tend to not play all that well. Even a lot of the best ones in the NFL long term. So, and
10:30then I just go back to the Ashen Genty tape himself. I just didn't see like the Saquon Barkley level, the Derrick Henry
10:36level talent. I would put him one tier down below that. But if you're trying to find explosives to account for the lack
10:42of touchdowns that he's expected to score versus Derrick Henry, I have to just keep him in kind of this tier. So I
10:48think like him versus Devon Aane to me is a kind of like an interesting conversation because those offenses probably aren't going to be that great.
10:55I just think that Devon's just a much better player and I think that's why I have him ranked at the top of this tier
11:00rather towards the bottom of it.
11:02>> This is so tough because I'm not an anti- Ashen Genty person. I'm just pro Saquon, Ken Walker, Chase Brown. We just
11:10talked about Derrick Henry. And for that reason, in most leagues, 90% of them this year, I'm not going to wind up with
11:17Ashen Genty just because of where I rank him in comparison to where he's drafted.
11:20I mean, we just look at it. He's the 2-1 over on Yahoo over the last few days in baseball formats. He's the 12th overall
11:28pick. If you look in expert consensus rankings, uh he is the 12th overall player on top of that. And here we have him 17th, which is really
11:39freaking high. But we're just not going to end up with a lot of And I guess it comes back to me where, yeah, he's going
11:44to get the opportunity. He got the opportunity last year, too. He handled 84% of the back throw touches. That was the second most in the league,.1%
11:53behind Jonathan Taylor.
11:56and he still finishes the running back 17 in points per game. And like in my head, Hayden, it's tough to rank him any
12:02higher when he finishes the running back 17 in points per game last year and I have 17 overall this year. And yet
12:08that's still way lower than consensus.
12:09So it's frustrating. It's frustrating.
12:11>> Yeah, definitely. So I would still be absolutely surprised if he's not a top 12 running back, but just because of
12:19that, I I can't just rank him inside the top 12. So, this is where I'm just, you know, looking at the environments around
12:24him. And then I would just say may maybe I'm not quite as high as everybody else is on Ashton Genty. Like he he's
12:29definitely a very good player, really great on contact. He can catch the ball.
12:34I I do think that there is a difference in just like the overall uh pace of play that he brings. Um whether that's
12:41decision- making or first first step. Um and I think those traits are are pretty important. him going as 17th overall and
12:48actually much higher than that is already a jump from awful to an average offensive line. And man, it's I I just hate possibly missing
12:58out on this leap just because I feel like I'm being realistic with my expectations >> in a way, >> but you know,
13:04>> we get excited all the time in fantasy and it doesn't work.
13:06>> They also face the the Chargers, the Chiefs, the Patriots, the Bills, and the Rams before week seven, uh, which is
13:11their buy. So, it's it's a week one can be there because it's the Miami Dolphins, but after that, it's kind of
13:16tough sledding here. But, you know, I'm just hoping they give him the line of scrimmage a bit more often because he
13:20was contacted beyond it. He averaged 6.8 yards per carry. Okay, before we go any further, this is what we like to do in
13:27the channel, give you videos to hope you hopefully help you win your fantasy leagues this year. Hit subscribe. It's solely free to all of you. Leave a
13:34thumbs up so YouTube knows that you checked out this episode. Uh, we've got two more videos this week and then the
13:40party really starts with preseason action this weekend and we are back next week with tons of ranking shows to help you win your fantasy draft. All right,
13:50your 18th overall player is who?
13:51>> This where I got Brock Bowers and I almost put Brock Bowers ahead of Ashton Genty. I I stopped myself. I saw in full
13:57PPR this would get a lot tighter, but yeah, with Brock Bowers I think that he can be the next Travis Kelce for fantasy
14:03football in his first two seasons. his 65 yards per game are the most since at least 2000 and it might even be uh like
14:10even like of all time. Uh the closest comps, it's KD, Shocki, Gronk, Jimmy Graham, Aaron Hernandez. Uh this kind of cohort of player, they get better in the
14:19third season, like when you're already elite in your first and second season.
14:22You only get better from there.
14:24Quarterback play is obviously way better. He seems like he's actually healthy coming off of that lingering knee injury. Um, so it really just comes
14:31down to like positional value and how close he can actually get to being uh just like, you know, your Drake London,
14:39CD Lamb, Justin Jefferson tier. It's hard to get to, you know, 1,200, 1300 yards at tight ends. I think he's capable of doing it. And you're looking
14:47around, it's Trey Tucker. It's Jaylen Naylor behind him. There's we're not talking about a huge threat. So I think that he can be up there in that rare
14:54category in terms of target share. And that's how I have him definitely a tier above Trey McBride. I have Brock Bowers
15:01one spot after uh as 19th overall. He really might be the player that you need this year in fantasy football. And you
15:07brought up prime Travis Kelce that was around the 2020 season where he averaged 17.4 points per game. Comparing that to the tight end five, which again, you
15:18have a top five tight end in football on your fancy roster in any given week.
15:21That was 9.4 fancy points. That gives you a leg up, an advantage of eight points every single week. Think of all
15:27your matchups and I may come down to eight fantasy points and Brock Bowers can give you that on on any given week.
15:34And last year the Raiders were 29th in passing plays that gain 10 or more yards just the rate of them. Clint Kubak his
15:41last two spots which by the way they were not perceived to be downfield explosive passing attacks in New Orleans and then in Seattle they were second and
15:5012th. So I know it's easy and we asked this question. Hey, why can't Clint Kubak just make Brock Bowers this year's
15:57JSN? Uh, maybe it is that easy. Maybe he can. Maybe they can build it around him and have him be the son. And if so,
16:04Hayden, you can get JS in the first round and you get JS in the second round. Why not?
16:08>> Um, yeah, I think easier said than done doing with a legit tight end. Um, and then also the Travis Kelsey stuff we're
16:14talking about like, you know, Prime Mahomes era. So, I think that's a big difference.
16:17>> They were like 14 and two those seasons.
16:19So, it's different. So that's where like I'm having this conflict of I think that he could be Travis Kelce on tape and be
16:27the offense and at the same time like we just talked about with Ashen Genty that might mean you know like seven and a
16:33half touchdowns which the markets are projecting right now which would be you know round two round three rather than like the round one. So like this about
16:40as high as I can get mathematically with Brock Bowers um before the season starts and he has like one of the rare ceilings
16:49to chase like among on on a bad offense.
16:52>> Okay, I I'll tell you how it can be easy. Well, not easy, but maybe uh achievable to get him >> a broken record in terms of targets and
17:00catches.
17:01>> This team just lives out of heavier personnel sets. All those wide receivers you mentioned, what if they say, "Hey, let's not even try with that stuff." And
17:07instead, >> it's not just 12 personnel with Michael Mayer, it's 21 with Connor Hayward at the same time, which they wanted to run
17:15in Seattle, right, with Robbie UTS.
17:18>> And then they resorted to more 12 personnel stuff.
17:21>> Um because in those environments, in those personnel groupings, that made up 51% of JS's, excuse me, that made up 38%
17:30of JSN's snaps last year and 51% of his production. And so more and more stuff can just be funneled in those heavier
17:37personnel sets to Brock Bowers. And I would expect Clint Kubak to want to live out of those this year.
17:42>> And even their tight end is Ian Thomas who's like been around the league forever. Like he can definitely pick up
17:46a blocking type to to kind of unlock that. So yeah, this is like it's as clean as it gets in terms of target
17:52share, projected receptions and yards and all that type of stuff. So I think the only thing is just, you know, Drake
17:57London and Nico Collins and George Pickkins like these guys are candidates for 1400 yards themselves. Um I think that's the the debate. Yeah, the term
18:04gets thrown around way too often, but he can be a league winner. It's it's that simple. My 18th player is Devon Achan,
18:10and maybe I should move him ahead of Ashton Genty because this hurts. Like the viewers know that I was relentlessly drafting Devon Aan last year and it paid
18:19off in a big way as running back five.
18:21Uh, and then now I have him as my 18th overall player. Uh, he got 19 touches per game. I'm just a little bit nerv
18:31McDaniel uh is going to drop down a couple tiers and a couple notches. And look, maybe where he's going as, you
18:37know, a one-two turn player factors that in and I'm just overcompensating a little bit, but even being attached to Malik Willis, who I actually like as an
18:47improved passer, as someone that is reading the field during his time in Green Bay and just turning that Baltimore Ravens game last year, and you
18:54see him hitting like every single blade of grass.
18:56>> But we know he's a big scrambler because that's one of the best assets that he brings to the table. um the highest in
19:02the league last year during his time in Green Bay and before that too. And then he only targeted running backs on 10% of
19:09the time with the Packers. So you have the extended plays, you have the running back targets that both of those might be moving away here from
19:18Devon Achan, and we know Achan was fourth in targets per game last year and fourth in receiving yards per game on
19:24top of it. So, while I I hear Jeff Hafley and him saying, "Hey, we're going to run you into the mud and we're going
19:29to have to drag you off the field." Uh, that's nice and I I actually think that Devon Chan is an underrated between the
19:35tackles runner. I just can't get on board with this environment being as good as the one he's been in the past
19:41couple years.
19:42>> I got in 13th overall. I put this one into like the trust me bro uh kind of category of like
19:48>> well he's so good and I think that the lack of target competition around him is going to force receptions to him like
19:56we've seen before just watch McDaniel do it with Devonte Chan and I I know Malik Willis is going to scramble but I'd
20:02rather him scramble than take sacks and I think the reasons he's going to be scrambling are you know when they're actually trying to throw the ball to the
20:08wide receivers that's when he's going to scramble like when they want to get the ball to Devon he's going to catch passes
20:12I Just looking at Genty versus Han, I think that Malik Willis is probably just about as good as rookie year Fernando
20:19Mendoza in a part season plus Kurt Cousins. I think that the offensive line is definitely uh favorable for the Dolphins versus uh the Raiders. And I
20:30think Devon is just a better football player than Ash and Genty. So that's the reason why I have those two guys in the
20:36same tier, but just I'm going towards Devonte Ch. And there is a lot of room for him to drop multiple tiers and still
20:43be worthy of an early second round pick.
20:45He averaged 20 freaking fantasy points per game in full PPR last year. So he you can chop off four or five of them
20:50and he's still an awesome pick uh in early round two.
20:54>> Oh, I agree. That's why I have him 18th overall. Uh and I'll I'll consider everything you just said for a rankings
21:00update in the near future. By the way, you can check out our rankings, half PPR and full PPR. Uh they're in the
21:05description down below over on Yahoo.
21:08Okay, I said my 19th ranked player is Brock Bowers. Who is yours?
21:11>> I'm going with Drake London. I just listened to an interview with him with Robert Maize. First of all, just like so
21:16smart, so calculated, like just an awesome awesome player. Yeah, it's what happens when you uh go learn from University of Southern.
21:22>> Not everyone that comes from there is so articulate, but you know what happens.
21:26>> Neither am I. Uh, but Drake London has been the wide receiver five since uh I don't know if you're talking about Mark
21:33Sanchez. There's some other ones, you know, that it hasn't been exactly clean out of USC recently. Uh, he's been the wide receiver five since
21:412024. You know, that's pretty good. Uh, that's on wide receiver five usage. Um, last year obviously dealt with that PCL injury. Everything seems like he's in
21:49good shape. Only Justin Jefferson and Jamar Chase have had a higher target share over that span. They're adding Zachariah Branch, former Trojan himself.
21:58Uh, uh, Jan Dots and Olita Zakius. I mean, it's just gonna be all Drake London here. I think that too was a good
22:03fit for Drake London. He got he made it work with Michael Penn still. And then I think Kevin Stfansky is smart enough to
22:09keep Drake London in the slot where he absolutely started cooking everybody.
22:13>> I have a feeling you're going to be one spot ahead of me on like the next 10 players. I have Drake London at 20th
22:18overall.
22:19>> Uh, finished as the wide receiver seven last year. that was next to the running back three in points per game on a team
22:25that was 23rd in points. They're projected for the same exact area this year, albeit a ton of turnover on this team with coaches and quarterbacks. Uh
22:33about 25th in points. So, I'm excited to see what Sansky does in terms of using him in tandem with Cal Pitts because
22:41Drake London was has been so good when he's been in the slot. Like when he's in the slot, he is getting the football and
22:47it goes for a first down or a touchdown and it's it is awesome stuff. But that might only be about 30% of his snaps.
22:53Um, but yeah, I mean, you can really work one side of the field with him and Cowpets at a really high level and then
22:58kind of forget about all the other guys that that you mentioned and and go from there.
23:02>> Well, I think part of forgetting it is the defense and they just lost James Pierce to, you know, like prison and
23:08then also >> be suspended for for a very long time.
23:11>> Yes. Like he's in the he's working with the third team because they do not expect him to play this year. So that's
23:15their first uh edge rushers one and two gone. Like Drake London in Garbage Time is gonna absolutely go crazy this year.
23:22>> Yeah. Yeah. So, uh, typically we talk about good players on good teams.
23:27Neither one of us think the Falcons are going to be a good team this year. But with Stfansky, I think he's going to be
23:34able to get the most out of both of these players like Zack Robinson did last year at the same time because the
23:39Falcons weren't good last year either.
23:41>> Yep. Yeah. Bowers versus London, it's like almost the exact same situation, just at different positions really.
23:46>> Yeah. And are they different positions?
23:48>> Not really. Yeah.
23:49>> Uh, okay. He's my 20th overall player.
23:51So, who is yours?
23:52>> Uh, this is where I got Nico Collins here. Um, just total monster. 6'4, 222 lbs. At one point last year, had the
24:00fastest miles per hour uh based off the NextGen stats, tracking data. He has been fantastic whenever he's targeted.
24:06We're talking about wide receiver three in yards per target, uh, since 2023.
24:10Wide receiver six and EPA per target.
24:12That's when like that stretch of the the Texans defense and CJ Shroud were not firing on all cylinders. Last year, the
24:19real big difference was just the Texans in the red zone. They were 32 in percentage of their red zone drives, finishing with a touchdown at 32%. Uh
24:27that's a stat that we want to be buying into because typically that regresses towards the mean. uh 19 red zone targets
24:34to Nico Collins resulted in 3.1 yards per target. Negative8% completion percentage over expected, 37% uh success rate and just three touchdowns. Like
24:43there's no reason Nico Collins should go three of 19 for touchdowns in the red area. This is the type of stuff that
24:49regresses positively. If you ask me just rank wide receivers just by themselves on tape, Nico Collins is absolutely inside my top five. He's one of the best
24:57wide receivers in the NFL. and all the negative stuff about the Texans fully priced in at this price tag.
25:03>> He's my 21st overall player and I have the same exact notes when it comes to the red zone stuff. I mean, he was 26th
25:08in red zone production for fantasy despite having the eighth best opportunity according to Reeves' numbers. I mean, like you said, 14
25:16endzone targets and that only resulted in four touchdowns. He had 54% of the endzone targets for the team and 33% of
25:23the uh red zone targets uh already. And then that's just six total touchdowns.
25:29Like it's just >> not enough. And speaking of not enough, like in his first two years with CJ Stroud, 5.3 and 5.7 receptions, and then
25:39last year that's down to 4.7 catches per game. And I guess my question is, does it stay at that mark? Does it stay that
25:47way with Higgins in the second year, Tank Dell is returning, Deont in the run game, one of the best defenses in the
25:55league. So, I love both big play and gimme wide receivers in the top two rounds. I'm still ranking Nico Collins
26:03at this top area, but I am concerned and it's a weird thing to say concerned about, >> but >> I just don't think he's going to get the
26:11same amount of volume as all these other guys that are drafted around him. But when he catches it, he really makes it
26:16worth his while.
26:17>> Yes. I say, let's clip this one out.
26:19Let's send this to to Nick Haley himself. Uh there's no reason why he should have a 3% screen rate. You know,
26:24in 2023 and 2024 that was a 16% screen rate. That's the amount of screens among his targets. Let's get that back up. You
26:32know, because he's excellent at the screen stuff, it's going to help out the run game a little bit. Help out CG
26:36Straoud. Let's get this team in better positions. And it it freaking works. So, if we can get Nico Collins back into the
26:42mix where he's not so boom bust reliant down the football field and we're actually getting him manufactured touches like what they do with Drake
26:48London and CD Lamb, all the guys we just talked about, he can absolutely be a round one type of player. Uh they're the
26:54Texans are choosing for him to not be that. I don't understand it.
26:58>> Six and a half catches per game is a lot different and a lot better than 4.7 catches per game. So, I've kind of given
27:04up on him having this >> Julio Jones arc maybe in his career where he is just like the totally dominant the ball is funneled to you in
27:12every single scenario. Uh, and as much as we love like the downfield 15 20 plus for someone like Nico Collins because
27:19again he changes games when that happens and a lot of them end up in touchdowns and big plays. Uh, I just want like you
27:26said two screens per game.
27:27>> Easy easy button.
27:29>> It really is easy. and just give us a floor for production every single week on top.
27:33>> Okay, he's my 21st player. So, we're going to do this again. Who is your 21st player?
27:37>> I got George Pickkins right here.
27:39Pickins and Nico Collins, I think, are very similar players and uh especially last year when Nico Collins wasn't getting the gimme stuff. George Pickkins
27:47necessarily wasn't getting the gimme stuff either. And still, he absolutely went crazy. X- receiver, vertical stuff, red zone, we saw that go absolutely nuts
27:56in the 13 games with CD Lamb. He was still the wide receiver 10. He still averaged 77 yards per game. He was still
28:03wide receiver 13 in usage. That was with the C the CD Lamb games. We saw what happens if CD Lambs misses time. So,
28:10we're pretty much drafting him where he finished with CD Lamb last year. And like the if Lamb misses, we're talking about somebody that we'd be probably
28:19drafting right next to like JSN. So, I think this is one where you're kind of free rolling the upside here. Uh he's
28:25not going to be quite as consistent as like the Drake London types out there, but man, when he goes crazy, which I'm
28:30expecting the Cowboys to do this season, that offense is really good. They don't they don't they didn't lose anybody. Uh I think that he's going to have another
28:38monster season and he needs to because he's on the franchise tack.
28:41>> He's my 24th overall player and it was a huge shout for our show last year to hype him up so much, but it paid off for
28:47all of you in a big way, I hope. Um, and his game did change last year. Like he he got >> way more gimmies. 61% of his targets
28:57were within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage, easily the highest rate of his career.
29:02>> And then the deep targets dropped from 32% 25% 29% while with the Steelers down to just 16% last year. So again, this is
29:11kind of one of my talking points this summer. As much as we love the deep ball, chicks dig the deep ball, right?
29:16What we want are the 10 yard targets, the eight yard targets, the seven yard targets because >> it gives you a floor consistency in each
29:23week and then when you do get the 16% chance, the good ones still go and achieve the big plays on on those
29:31opportunities. So, plus it's pretty cool when now you've changed your route trait and you still can make the downfield stuff work. And he had 18 endzone
29:41targets last year which tied for the second most in the NFL. So, he basically attacks in all three ways that we want a
29:47big-time wide receiver to in fantasy football.
29:49>> Yeah, there's like almost like no negative notes aside from just like you fully can't trust him. Um, but aside from that, like I I'm ready to party
29:56again.
29:56>> Okay, my 22nd overall player is Malik Neighbors. I mean, he is on a whole another level when we talk about the
30:04wide receivers that he's drafted around and I even mentioned, you know, the Nico Collins, George Pickkins guys that we just brought up and heck, even Drake
30:10London. I think Neighbors is a better talent than them. Now, maybe that's splitting hairs a little bit and they play the game in a different style, but
30:17he is like the closest thing we have probably to Jamar Chase in the league >> uh in terms of winning with the ball in
30:22his hands. And guess what? He appears to be on track to play in week one. Uh now, I do want to respond to myself because
30:30when we recorded, I think a video on like June 16th, that did not seem to be the case. And I was nervous because all
30:38the words coming out of the New York, New Jersey area seemed to have nervousness attached to them. I mean, it was a second surgery to clean up so he
30:45could rehab better and get back on the field. And then the three dreaded words or letters of PUP seem to be mentioned
30:54frequently. But then it flipped in a weekend just as we were relaunching the show. And guess what? When you have an
31:01update information, your opinion gets updated at the same time. So now that he's on track to play in week one, I am
31:06all the way back in on Malik Neighbors having all the opportunity and the skills in the world to still make good
31:13on this 22nd overall ranking that I have.
31:16>> Yeah, I'm pissed because you you neighbors moged me. I got him 23rd overall and I wanted to be as high as
31:21anybody on him. Uh he's so outrageously good and the Giants they still don't know who their wide receiver 2 is going
31:29to be. Nobody really has stood out in camp. It's like Isaiah Likely and Malik Neighbors. And he's been a a top six
31:37fantasy scorer um as a rookie season four weeks into this last season. And the Giants absolutely were terrible on offense when he was that productive.
31:46Talking about 31st in scoring over that rookie season through week four of last year. So, I'm not expecting the Giants to be second worst in the NFL on offense
31:55this year. And it looks like uh Malik Neighbors is going to be able to to be a close to like 90 100% of himself by the
32:04the time like the games really start to pick up later on. The Giants defense is getting a little bit better. They're not
32:09going to get absolutely run on like crazy with Arll Reese kind of popping up. Uh and just obviously Harbaugh trying to put uh a stop to all that. And
32:17I think that on offense they've got some runs Cam Scato up the middle and then when they drop back to pass it's just
32:23going to go to Malik Neighbors as it should. On best formats, he's going as the last pick of the second round right
32:28now. On Yahoo, he's the last pick of the third round at this moment. If you look at expert consensus rankings, he's the
32:3530th overall player in half PPPR right now. So, you and I are well ahead of basically every single person on the
32:40league neighbors at this moment.
32:42>> Let's say in a week or two he is fully participating in practice, looks great, absolutely is going to be cleared for
32:49week one, and they're just expecting this to be as close to peak Malik neighbors as possible. How high could you rank him in that scenario? Like I'm
32:56looking at >> I mean I don't have to go any higher. I can still rank him 22nd overall and get him every single time.
33:01>> I I I'm saying at 23 there's room for this to go higher for me. I if I get full confirmation that he's ready to go,
33:08I am absolutely ready to take him uh probably right next to Brock Bowers and Drake Lens probably where I'll draw the
33:14line. But if if I really really see him fully clear, no setbacks, nothing here in the next couple weeks, like I'm ready
33:21to move him up even higher.
33:22>> Maybe I'm wrong. I highly doubt we see a single preseason snap from him, but just get through training camp, you know, get
33:27through that dark period where >> no reporters are there for the five days ahead of kickoff. And if we're healthy at that point, then all systems go.
33:35Yeah, I'm looking at our Yahoo colleagues >> and the closest next >> people have him 30th overall. So, we again are are well ahead
33:43>> of the market on Malik Neighbors. Um, okay. He's my 22nd ranked player. So, now we go to 23. Who's yours? I got AJ
33:52Brown at 22. And this is the same grouping of wide receivers here. Um, and this one, I would put this in the boom
33:59bust here, similar to like George Pickkins and Malik Neighbors, but the boom ability is is obvious with AJ Brown. It just comes down to how good of
34:07a talent is he. I thought last year he was still really good. He wasn't, you know, top five wide receiver on tape. I
34:14think he was good enough to have another one of these great seasons. Kind of like how like Devonte Adams was playing in
34:19the last couple seasons. I want to bring him up in particular because Patriots OC Josh McDaniels had some seasons with Dvonte Adams on the Raiders. This was
34:27like right after the absolute peak of his prime in those seasons. 180 targets, 175 targets. He caught over 100 passes uh in both of those seasons. I think
34:37they can get AJ Brown in the slot in three wide receiver sets if they want to. Uh I don't think he has to play this
34:43like static exceiver role. In fact, that's where I would have Romeo Dobs.
34:46And then I would try to get AJ Brown uh going a little bit more on some horizontal stuff and not just like kind
34:51of this vertical or hitch uh kind of route tree that he had with the Eagles.
34:56So I'm expecting more creativity and I think the added creativity will probably hide some of the wards that you can possibly nitpick with AJ Brown. But this
35:03is kind of like my version of the Omari Hampton stuff. Like I don't want to nitpick, you know, any decline really I
35:08saw from him. Like this is he's he's with Drake May all of a sudden and Josh McDaniels has a history here. I just
35:14want to like lean into it. He's my 23rd overall player and kind of what you're alluding to, I think I am a little skeptical of he's
35:23declining in talent right now. It's also difficult to say when everyone pulls up Twitter today and he is roasting Sauce Gardner on like the first rep of joint
35:32practices.
35:34>> Yeah.
35:34>> And looks totally fine, you know. So yeah, maybe I shouldn't bring up AJ Brown's talent at all, but as you said,
35:41>> it felt like to open last year, he wasn't separating as much and he wasn't winning after the catch as often.
35:47However, the Josh Martino's factor of funneling in targets to the top receiving option and also Drake May as a part of this where he is so willing to
35:56throw over the middle of the field and so willing to throw into tight coverage 10 plus yards down the field that this
36:02is a perfect landing spot for AJ Brown at this point. in in his career. So yeah, I mean I am in despite some spidey
36:10senses saying, "Hey, are are you sure about that? You watched the eyeballs last year, but like look how effective Stefon Diggs was in this offense last
36:17year." And that was playing fewer snaps than Matt. Collins in every single game.
36:22So if we get an 80% snap AJ Brown this year, uh good things are really going to happen.
36:26>> Yeah, I would take the higher on 80%. I think it's going to be near fulltime.
36:30And I think that Diggs was kind of in that slot role where I think that >> he's playing only like 55% of the time
36:34last year, >> right? Yeah. I just think that AJ Brown like they just got to give him on the field for how much they invested in him.
36:40I I think that the Drake May versus Jaylen Herzen cannot go overlooked. Like Drake May last year was the best downfield thrower of the football
36:47period. Not even close. The stats back that up. He was doing that to Kahan who's I think going to get traded here
36:52any minute. Kahan Bu is going to get traded. Um and then it's going to be Romeo Dobs clearly next to AJ Brown. And
36:59then it's actually been Pop Douglas as the number three. Like that's a good thing for for AJ Brown.
37:04>> Yep. And for how much Josh Mandos loves to use tight ends. Uh when Eli Raridan is on the field in 12 personnel looks,
37:12that's even better for AJ Brown, you know.
37:14>> Yep. Yep.
37:15>> Heavier bodies means good things for your best pass catchers. He's my 23rd overall player. So who is your 23rd overall player?
37:22>> That's where I had Neighbors and then I had Hampton at 24th. I think we're back on pace here. Wow, we are back on pace.
37:28George Pickins is my 24th. Weaves. Sorry to do that to you with the confusion over the last three, but I'm sure you
37:34nailed it in the edit afterwards. All right, we are back on track then a reset. Who's your 25th overall player?
37:40>> This is where I have Jeremiah Love. And I would put this firmly into the boom bust tier. And I would say there's I
37:46would say a tier break between like the top 24. And I'm not surprised we have the same exact top 24 players in some
37:52order.
37:52>> Well, and it's the end of the second round. How fitting for you?
37:55>> Yes. Um, with Jeremiah Love, obviously we're dealing with the Cardinals here and we're dealing with a coaching staff that has, you know, mentioned James
38:05Connor for whatever reason. They've uh signed Tyler Algier and then they drafted Jeremiah Love third overall.
38:11Typically what happens is the third overall pick pick plays a ton and is really good at football. So, I don't want to dis discount that too much even
38:19though I'm expecting this to not be like as clean as I would like it to be. Um, look, I think the Cardinals are much
38:26better uh than the the the Raiders were last year, for example, with Ashen Genty. Uh, I like the coaching staff a
38:33lot more with Laflur. Um, I think that Jeremiah Love was a better player and better prospect than Ashton Genty. And then the skill group around him uh does
38:41make me believe that the Cardinals are not going to finish like dead last in scoring this year. So, um, this is just
38:47kind of like blindly betting on Jeremiah Love being as good of a talent as we're expecting here. Um, I can see this kind
38:53of either way. I would would not be surprised if you have him ranked much lower than this. And I've kind of
38:57tinkered with him somewhere between 25 and 30 and every 10 minutes I I I change it. Let me ask you before I reveal my
39:04ranking. Are you like when you zoomed out after completing your rankings, were you amazed at how you're ahead of every single platform, every single consensus
39:15ranking, you're above market on Jeremiah Love? Like, were you expecting that heading into this?
39:20>> Um, I think in general once we have like a discount in the team environment with these rookies, then I think it's a good
39:26spot to start buying into like the rookie hype just like in general. And but I will say like a lot of the best
39:31running backs have busted as like a top 24 pick like Bej Gibbs like these guys didn't fully blossom into that second
39:39season. I think now we're talking about upside RB2s. Is Jeremiah Love an awesome upside RB2? It was him versus Bree Hall.
39:45I kept going back and forth. What do I like more? What do I like more? I end up parking them next to each other. Um but
39:51I understand people being lower on him.
39:53I mean, we just did your ideal draft and you did just take Greece Hall in round three over Jeremiah Love and and
39:59Jeremiah Love's going in round three in all these platforms.
40:02>> Well, here here's the thing. If I showed up to that video and I just picked the first player available in every single
40:08round, people people would have crucified me. So, you know, I got to mix it up.
40:12>> So, he's going 26 overall in baseball, 26 overall on Yahoo, and then in consensus rankings, uh, he's actually the 33rd overall player. And Hayden for
40:22me, he's the 33rd overall player.
40:23>> Okay.
40:24>> Um, now look, right now the Cardinals are projected for what, 32nd in points, dead last in the league. They might finish
40:3322nd. Like that would be a big win in comparison to predictions. However, we're also drafting four of these guys in the top 95. So, they freaking better
40:41finish around 22nd in in points scored.
40:44Um, I think Mike Lefor is is better than, you know, what Chip Kelly did for Ashen Genty last year.
40:50>> Yes. And so that is I I do think the Ashen Genty effect is weighing down maybe some belief of Jeremiah Love this
40:57year. However, I also don't think that Jeremiah Love is going to get 84.6% of his team's touches like Ashen Genty did last year. I also think this
41:07offensive line for the Cardinals is a lot better. I mean, I know it was the Hall of Fame game, but Chase Vantis
41:11stepped in there and just looked like a freaking plow running over defensive lineman and he's going to start very, very soon. Plus, they have Paris Johnson
41:19and all these other guys, right? So that's a good group. And you know, Michael Thor had rookie season Bruce Hall. He was a running back seven in
41:26points per game that year. And that was even with a slow start of 12, eight, and 14 touches in the opening three games.
41:34They did go on and win, you know, the three games after that where Bree Hall or maybe it was even those three games
41:41where Bree Hall then took on more work.
41:43And so >> that was the best part of their season.
41:46I I'm just overall nervous of how the math maths in this group. And so I I think I am going to be below market on
41:56where he is going in drafts. At the same time, I don't want to be out on Jeremiah Love as a whole because he can get it in
42:05both the receiving game and the rushing game. And at some point, the hot hand is going to be Jeremiah Love and then boom,
42:11we're off to the races.
42:12>> Yeah, definitely. So, I I would say that the math starts mathing when you compare where we've been drafting these rookie
42:19running backs, like the elite ones.
42:21Typically, it's like in the first or second round, like like at the one two turn. Uh so, I think that we've priced
42:26in at least some and hopefully all of the Cardinals uh you know, negativity that we could possibly uh dream up for.
42:35So, yeah, I think anywhere in round three is appropriate. And then I think it's just on you of of how much patience
42:40you're willing to have here. Um, and I think over time it's just going to start becoming the Jeremiah Love Show.
42:45>> Okay. My 25th overall player is Devonte Smith. And part of me actually wanted to rank him even higher than this.
42:51>> Wow.
42:52>> But this is where we settled. Okay.
42:54Right now, Mai Lemon's out of practice.
42:56Biggest card potential right now is it seems to be Dantavian Wix. And we'll see how long that lasts throughout the season. I do want to say Dvonte Smith is
43:02also missing practice at this point, too.
43:04>> But you know me, what I've talked about all summer is if you fix the running game here for the Eagles, that's just
43:09going to make the passing attack. so much easier and with a healthier offensive line this year uh and more and more reps under center which it seems to
43:18be that's a big focus of Shawn Manian that's going to make the rushing attack I think get back to somewhat closer to
43:24what they did in 2024 versus what they the average group they put out in 2025 um and yeah I mean it was a different
43:32scheme different all that stuff some different players but whenever AJ Brown misses I mean the onoff splits for Dante in those situations is just off the
43:43charts. I mean, he's run 252 routes without AJ Brown over the last few years since 2022. He's been targeted on 29%
43:52of his routes. 37% of the team's targets went his direction, play 2.6 yards per route run. So, yeah, let's get the
43:59running game to force some more single high stuff and let's Dvonte Smith just have to work one-on-one versus the corners across the league. And he wins
44:06small and he wins big. I mean, I can't wait to see Dvonte Smith in this role.
44:10>> Yeah, he's gonna be a monster this year.
44:12Uh, five games without AJ Brown. Um, since his rookie season, he's the wide receiver, three in yards per game at 89,
44:18wide receiver, 10 targets. That's a very small sample size. I think that's like the upside case. I think that the actual
44:24baseline for that is definitely lower than that because you're adding more talent than, you know, the depth of Eagles when he was like the wide
44:30receiver one without AJ Brown. Um, but at the same time, AJ Brown's been the wide receiver 14, wide receiver 16, wide
44:35receiver eight, and wide receiver nine with Jaylen Herz as the top guy. Like, that's the range that we're talking about. I think that he's to me firmly
44:42kind of behind that Malik Neighbors and and Drake London kind of tier. And then from Devonte Smith all the way down to
44:50like the middle of the fourth round, I think all these guys, you know, it's almost the same exact case. I don't
44:55expect any of them to really bust. I don't expect any of them to like really break out into like that top five mix,
45:00but I I don't mind leaning into just Dvonte Smith is like an awesome player on film and this offense I it does sound
45:06like it's a good fit. Manion and Herz seem to be kind of jelling. I like what they're doing with Jaylen Herz and slim
45:12down his body. He's going to be running a little bit more. They're doing more of the things I was kind of hoping that the
45:17Eagles would be doing over the last couple seasons. Um and obviously Dvonte Smith is going to be the benefactor. I mean, it it really comes down to if play
45:25callers are good enough attached to Jayen Herz that they pluck certain things out of him, they make him comfortable enough. Obviously, they get
45:32the running game going. And when that has happened, that has been Shane Syiken, that has been Kell Moore. And when it doesn't, it's Patulo, it's that
45:42whatever Johnson guy, and then they, you know, the city of Philadelphia thinks they're the devil and they get run out of town.
45:49>> Yeah. And so when it's good, it's really freaking good and it becomes one of the best offenses in the league. And again,
45:55you can read in training camp as much as you want to. We like to do it and it sounds it's like it's a good trend at
46:01this moment.
46:01>> Yep. So I'm liking it.
46:02>> I I'm in on Damonte Smith. Okay. Who is your 26th overall player?
46:05>> This is where I have Bree Hall. So there's been a couple reports that Brilen Allen, Isaiah Davis, like these kind of knucklehead types, I don't think
46:12they're that good, but they're also like not standing out. They're missing time in practice. And then there's like quotes like, "Hey, now that we paid this
46:18Breeze Hall guy and we didn't actually take a third or fourth round pick at the deadline, what if we absolutely used him
46:23all the time?" Uh, I have to say that because Brilland Allen was mixing in at the goal line at times with for instead
46:29of Bree Hall and at times Isaiah Davis was getting in there as a pass catcher enough already. Like Bree Hall is like a
46:36main part of the offense. It sounds like Gino Smith having a fairly good enough camp here. Uh, I think the offensive
46:42line for the Jets is much better than it was many seasons ago when Bree Hall was like really starting to take off. Arman
46:48Membu is an absolute stud at right tackle, for example. Uh, their left tackle's in good good shape as well. Um, I don't know how the Jets could justify
46:57not trading him away, signing him to this deal and not give him huge huge huge workload and to the point I think
47:04we're kind of forgetting how good Bree Hall is because he's been dealing with some injuries. I think that is like how
47:10how in shape he has been on tape seems to kind kind of come and go. I'm just expecting Bree Hall. It's a much better
47:16environment. He's talked about it like this is like the season where like, oh yeah, Bree Hall was a stud coming out of
47:21college. He was a stud early on. The Jets jets for a while and then hopefully kind of, you know, reaches a middle
47:27ground. And I do think there's a chance that Bree Hall could finish as an RB1 this season.
47:31>> You and I are both well ahead of everyone on Bree Hall. He's my 28th overall player. uh to talk about what
47:38you just brought up. Um Ron Stewart quoted this on on Twitter. I can't remember. I think it's from Connor Hughes. Um Aaron Glenn going into his
47:48first season made it a point to stress a backfield committee implying a near even split between Bruce Hall, Brilan Allen, and Isaiah Davis. The latter two won't
47:55be uninvolved, but it's clear the focus is Hall, then Allen, then Davis, and that section is called the return of the
48:01Bellcal. That's what we want, you know.
48:04And >> is anyone talking about that Bree Hall is coming off a careerhigh in rushing yards? No. But he is like the talent was
48:13evident last year, but unfortunately that equal to running back 20 in points per game because he only scored five touchdowns, right?
48:19>> So, let's get eight touchdowns, 10 touchdowns, improved offensive line, improved quarterback play for what what we got last year. And uh while there are
48:27some ancillary pieces and figuring all that out, I like Garrett Wilson. I like Bree Hall and I I don't expect the Jets
48:35to be 29th in touchdowns per game, 29th in red zone drives per game, 31st in red zone touchdown success rate. So, uh, the
48:42superstars can put them over the hill and Gina Smith can be just good enough to help them do it.
48:48>> Yeah, I think the Jets are a good candidate go from going like truly awful to like just, you know, good enough on
48:53offense for for him to actually make make an impact in fantasy. Like there's like stats you can like remove games without Brady Cook, you know, which is
49:01probably pretty smart cuz like that offense was pathetic. And then all of a sudden like this is where we would have
49:06been drafting him. Um so yeah, I think the Jets are going to look they're at least going to look watchable this year.
49:11>> Okay, here's a doozy. My 26th overall player is Rashi Rice.
49:15>> No.
49:17>> Okay, I get it. I get if you side just like Hayden did, but hear me out. It's as simple as Hayden. When he plays, he
49:26averages over 15 fantasy points. That's back to his rookie year. That's during playoffs. That's against the most difficult teams.
49:33Ever since he has stepped foot on NFL field. If he plays, he averages over 15 fantasy points. And that's just in half
49:39PPR. If we're talking about PPRs, it's through the freaking moon. Like, does Rashi Rice have a limited skill set?
49:45Yes, absolutely. His game is crossers, short and intermediate, especially versus zone coverage. Athletic Yak. Are the training clips concerning? They definitely are. Like, it looks like he's
49:57rehabbing on the fly on the field. So, it it's complicated when you draft Rashi Rice. I get it if you all want to just
50:05avoid this one entirely. But again, he had a higher percent of his team's targets inside the 10 yard line last year, just overall for the season, than
50:14Drake London, Chris Olive, Nico Collins, AJ Brown, Tedro McMillan, and that's despite only playing eight games. Okay, that's not like a per game thing or a
50:24per snap that he played. Just overall for the season, he is still a go-to player for them inside the 10. so we can
50:30get in this conversation because I know I rank him much higher than you do. But as of this point, and again it is August
50:3611th now at 4:15 Eastern, I am ranking Rashi Rice 26th overall.
50:41>> He's probably the player, the Yahoo analyst are most disagreeing with each other. We have you, Boone, and Joel at top 25, top 26. And then Harmon,
50:52Pianowski, myself, Harmon's got him at 39. Pianowski and I both have him at 43rd overall. That's a huge difference there. like you're either getting him or
51:00you're like he's not even coming up at all in the queue. Uh it just depends on your comfortability with him, you know,
51:06off the field. I think for the most part that's probably going to be just okay for one season. Could you, you know,
51:10behave Rushy Rice here? To me, like the bigger uh reasons why I'm fading him is because he was excellent in that role
51:18and I think that Kenneth Walker is going to get in the way of that. I think that Xavier Worthy being healthier this year
51:23is going to get into the way of that where it's just not going to hit quite as hard. And I think the bigger thing is
51:27I am a little bit worried about this knee. Like this is like a couple surgeries on this one. It was like a
51:32pretty serious injury. It's kind of like one of those rare injuries. Like he has not looked the part. So we'll see. This
51:36is one where like by the end of camp if he's just like absolutely blown by everybody. Um then I will move him up
51:42and then I might have to move him two rounds down if he gets suspended or you know does something else off the field.
51:47So >> not for me. I think a lot of these wide receivers around him um I think that they also have tons of upside. Um, but
51:53Rashi Rice's upside is is proven out.
51:56So, like if you want to take the risk, like I totally understand it.
51:58>> Yeah. And I do understand also the train of thought that I hear that, hey, the Chiefs might be evolving their passing
52:05attack. I'm a bit skeptical of it to be honest. Like, this is who they have been in terms of this styling of passing. And
52:12sure, K9 coming in who we absolutely love. We both rank as top 13 players.
52:16You have them as a top 10 player.
52:18hopefully changes some of the math in the back end, but I still think Rashi Rice is more talented than Xavier Worthy. I think he's more talented than
52:26Travis Kelce in terms of over the middle, run after catch, intermediate portion. And again, that has been the foundation for the passing attack when
52:33they've won Super Bowls and then recently as they're trying to rework things. So again, subject to change, but at this point, I have Rashi Rice 26th
52:42overall.
52:43>> 27 for you. It's where I have Trey McBride talking about a tight end one in the prime of his career. He was the
52:49tight end one overall on fantasy points per game, expected points, targets, which is by the way 10 per game, receptions, yards per game. Uh he was a
52:5719th overall player. Uh when I look at half PPR, fantasy points over placement per game. In full PPR, it would even be
53:05higher than that one. Uh unfortunately, I just don't think that he's going to be able to repeat those because uh he went
53:12absolutely crazy with Jacobe Brassette.
53:13Jacobe Brassette's going to play, but just a totally different uh staff. This Cardinals team was uh number one in uh neutral pass rate by the end of the
53:23season. There's zero chance that's what the Cardinals are going to do this year.
53:27So, I think you can start like chopping off some of like the the gimme looks that Trey McBride uh has been getting
53:32over the last couple years. I think that he's still maybe the best tight end in football. He's exceptional. He's one of
53:38my favorite players to watch. Uh I just think that like you said with Marvin going to be healthier, Michael Wilson post breakout, now you have Jeremiah
53:46Love. And I just don't think the scam offense that they were running last year, they're not going to do that with
53:50Laf. They're try to be play real football. So I think that you're just going to be chopping off too many of the
53:55volume stats away from Trey McBride where he's going to finish like nowhere near where he did last year and still hopefully worth a third round selection.
54:03Yeah, maybe this is still an overcorrection for me because, you know, the stat that he ran 120 more routes than the next closest tight end is at
54:10the top of my brain. I mean, he that's three games worth of extra routes that Trey McBride ran last year. That's
54:17simply not happening. He's also not in a Drew Petting offense that, you know, focuses so much on the tight end. And as
54:23good as Carson Beck might have looked in the Hall of Fame game, we also don't think he's going to get, you know,
54:27Jacobe Brassette throwing to him for 17 games. And you know they were so pass heavy when it came to kobus out last
54:34year like number one in the league in neutral dropback rate. I don't think you sign you know Tyler Alier and you draft
54:41Jeremiah Love to be number one in neutral dropback rate.
54:44>> So with all that said that that forces me to have Trey McBride is my 34th overall player.
54:48>> So we kind of have this bracket of you have love and McBride almost backtoback much earlier and I have them about six
54:55or seven spots later.
54:57>> Yeah. I have the Marvin Michael Wilson guys ranked a little bit lower and maybe this is just it gets centered around
55:02these two guys but multiple of the Cardinals players are going to bust this year in fantasy. So you are playing a
55:08little bit of roulette uh here. So I I understand this one. I actually I've been moving Trey McBride from like 27 to
55:1535 kind of back and forth, you know. Ask me on a different day. I'll have a different answer.
55:19>> Yeah, I I I don't think I've drafted Trey McBride one time this year. And it's not because I I dislike him, but
55:24going at like that two three turn, there's just so many other players >> that I feel like I can make a case for
55:29versus him.
55:30>> Yeah. On Yahoo, he's at 24th overall.
55:32Like I'm not going to get him on on Yahoo. Yeah.
55:35>> My 27th overall player is Josh Jacobs.
55:37He was also in that Adam Shfter ominous report that he could get suspended. So if he does, my opinion and my ranking is
55:47going to change. But he's one of these players that when he's on the field, he gets production. Even if he's not 100%,
55:53he's going to score touchdowns. That's the name of the game. I mean, running back eight in points per game last year,
55:58running back seven in points per game the year before that. I mean, he has one of the best runners in the league in one
56:03of the few like true one-person backfields. Uh, and the starting offensive line last year, Hayden, was not good. And they were really banged
56:11up. I mean, they were only on the field together for 17.6% of offensive snaps.
56:16that was 30th in the league. That should just naturally improve. Uh hopefully injury luck is on that side. And he was
56:23hit beyond the behind. And he was hit behind the line of scrimmage way too often because of it. So is he a game
56:32breaker? Is he a 15 plus 20 plus yard explosive runner? Maybe not. But hey, is he getting the rock when they're inside
56:40the 10, inside the five? Hell yeah. So, uh, as long as Josh Jacobs is out there, Josh Jacobs is probably gonna be on my
56:47fantasy football team.
56:49>> Yeah, I've I'm I'm a huge fan of Jacobs.
56:51I got him ranked 40th overall. Um, I'm factoring in some of the suspension risk. I also think there's some other risks that are at play with Jacobs. Um,
56:59number one, Laflur is tinkering with the offense. They're going to be playing with more pace, which you think like, oh, more plays, that's great for him. I
57:05think that kind of corresponds with maybe they're not going to be so run dependent with Josh Jacobs. I think another big part of this is Jacob's
57:12getting a little bit older. His explosiveness is coming down a tier and Marshon Lloyd like he is balling in training camp and he's he was a real
57:19prospect. Um so I would not be surprised if Josh Jacobs, you know, his like that crazy volume that he got just comes down
57:26one tier whether that's Lloyd, whether that's the offense kind of changing and then I'm factoring in some of the off-field stuff which is very unsettled.
57:33Like the district attorney is like still investigating figuring what they're going to do there. Um, so I think of that list of like Puka versus Jacobs,
57:40who's more likely to get suspended. I think it would be more likely to get suspended for Josh Jacobs. Even though I
57:46still think it's like not that likely, it's definitely I would put in like the possible category.
57:50>> Just one comment on your changing the offense statement. I mean, if we just ran it back from last year, Hayden would
57:56just go like the one-two turn, >> you know? So, like to me, a lot of this negativity stuff, I don't want to say
58:02it's being double counted here, >> but uh you know, getting him in 27th overall is >> pretty awesome from a fantasy lens.
58:09>> Yeah, he was the wide receiver 12 last year. Um there was some like weird games because Jordan Love was battling through
58:15injuries. Like there's definitely at where you're talking about like there is there's room to to to hit on that for sure. I'm just parking in a little bit
58:21more downside there for like other reasons.
58:24>> Who is your 28th overall player? This is where I have Josh Allen. Um, if you're drafting on Yahoo, he gets taken at 20th
58:33overall. So, you're not going to get him very often. Let's say he falls. Um, this is kind of where he's been over like the
58:39last what, four or five seasons where he's been the quarterback one, quarterback three, quarterback one, quarterback one. Um, and then I have a
58:46metric fantasy points over replacement, which is kind of accounting for uh quarterback versus running backs versus receivers. and he routinely uh is ranked
58:55like 18th to about 30th overall. Uh so you add DJ Moore, he's still in the prime of his career. I think he's going
59:02to continue to ball out. Um just strategy corner, there's so much depth at this at this position where I was trying to break ties against him until
59:12the point where I just didn't trust the >> He's like a tear.
59:16>> Absolutely is. Yeah.
59:18>> Yeah. He's a tearbreaker. That's why for me I actually have Josh Allen at 32nd overall even if he's my quarterback one
59:25even if I'm happy to draft him just because the other guys I get a bit more hyped about and in all of you know these
59:32mock drafts that we're doing for columns and shows uh when you take a quarterback at let's say 20th overall or I mean I
59:40would even say 30th overall then the rest of your roster just looks like much worse because you're missing out on one
59:45of those players. Um I mean I love him though. I mean, he is he is like the short yardage quarterback now in terms
59:52of leading the NFL with 13 rushing touchdowns inside the 10 yard line. And I do want to bring up that Ben So like
59:58after visiting camp said that the team is expected to be more pass heavy, which is interesting because since Joe Brady took over for from Ken Dorsy, they've
60:07been 31st, 25th, and 30th in dropback rate. But now, you know, Joe Brady is in charge versus Shawn McDermott. So maybe
60:14that was a Shawn McDermottle directive, which it does make sense because that's kind of why Ken Dorsey was fired when they were like seventh in drop back rate
60:23and they immediately turn into run focused.
60:25>> So yeah, more passing for Josh Allen would be uh pretty freaking cool and that might mean even more fantasy points, too.
60:31>> Yeah, there's been other reports that Allen is like really tight with with Joe Brady and uh and you add DJ Moore in the
60:38offseason. Like if I had to guess, are they going to be more pass heavy or run heavy this year? It's like absolutely
60:42that they would be more pass heavy. It just makes sense looking at all the moves that they had. Plus like McDermott
60:46defense, Brady offense, like that's the head coach. I'm expecting Josh Allen to to drop back more, which means more scrambles, too. Like that's you want
60:54your quarterbacks uh in the scramble department. So yeah, I I feel really good about him. To me, it's just like if
61:00you're worried about floor in the third round, just like draft Josh Allen, you know, like if you drafted him 25th overall and you said, "I'm going to win
61:06my league with some dart throws later on." Like I understand that strategy.
61:11Um, I think mathematically this is kind of where he belongs.
61:14>> I I have no problem with third round Josh Allen. I do have a little bit of a problem of second round Josh Allen uh on
61:20Yahoo where he's going ahead of >> Brock Bowers, Nico Collins, George Pickkins, AJ Brown, Devonte Smith, that type.
61:27>> Yes, I agree.
61:28>> Okay. My 28th overall player is Bree Hall. So that brings us to 29. Who's yours?
61:36>> This is where I Devonte Smith.
61:39>> Okay. I have Kairen Williams, >> right?
61:43>> Um Kairen Williams is one of these players that I think when we get into individual conversations about it always sounds like a negative,
61:54but then when the environment is this good, it shows you that someone in a split backfield can totally outscore by
62:04miles someone that owns 84% of the touches somewhere else. I mean, not only is it a two to one or a one to one here
62:13for Kairen Williams, he still finished last year as a running back 11 in points per game despite that. And despite 73%
62:20of the Rams touchdowns last season, Hayden, were passing.
62:24So, it wasn't even like, oh, it was a split backfield, but all of it went to the running backs. No, no, no. That was
62:28the fourth highest rate in the league.
62:31So, we're talking about a player still in a split backfield, mind you, tied for the third most red zone rushing scores
62:37on the fifth most carries inside of the 10. And over the past three seasons, Kairen has finished second, first, and third in fantasy points scored in the
62:47red zone. So, yeah, I sort of like Ken Williams because he's on the Rams. And Hayden, if the Rams are slightly worse
62:53or they're trailing in games this year, guess who is the preferred player when they're trying to catch up or in neutral
62:59situations that has been and I think will continue to be Kairen Williams over Blake Core.
63:05>> I got Kyrie Williams 39th overall. I was kind of breaking ties against him just because I think the Blake Corm stuff is
63:12real. I think that what they did at the end of the season coming out of their bye-week and into the playoffs, I think
63:18that was real and that they really do like Blake Cororm. So, we're talking about 65% carry share inside the 5yard line compared to uh a 58% carry share on
63:28the other runs. We're talking about, you know, a half to two/3. A lot of the other running backs are are a lot higher
63:34than that. Um the Rams got to be the best offense in the league for him to be like a top 12 fantasy player,
63:40>> but guess what?
63:41>> They easily could be. But they also could not be, you know, like that's just like uh the hard part where, you know,
63:46the defense gets better. Eric Jackson's one of those guys at left tackle, he can get suspended. Uh they have no depth at
63:52left tackle. They wasted a first round pick on a backup quarterback for some reason. By the way, that backup quarterback is not even separated from
63:57Stson Bennett in camp um per sources.
64:00So, we'll see. Uh Kron Williams is a little bit dead zone to me, but if you're going to do dead zone stuff, uh
64:09do it on the team project for the most points. Yeah. And you know, fantasy shows, many of them have also projected
64:15and predicted the downfall of Kairen Williams in like each of the last three seasons. And >> right, >> guess what? There he is at the end of
64:22the year scoring touchdowns on one of the best offenses. And again, when the Rams are tied or trailing, Kairen has played 75% of the snaps compared to
64:31Blake Corm's 24%. So, >> yep. Yeah, if they if they are a little worse, >> I think it could be the team's as good
64:40as it was, but the defense got better and then the offense, you know, it's like hard to score what 30 points per
64:45game >> when you don't need to is what?
64:48>> Yes. Yes.
64:48>> Got it. Okay. Who's your 30th overall player?
64:52>> I got T. Higgins. Um, and I really like drafting T. Higgins in the third, fourth round here. Uh, he's played 39 games
65:00with Joe Burrow healthy since 2022. He's averaging 15 full PPR points in them.
65:06That's wide receiver 14 on wide receiver 15 usage. Um, and then you have some games where Jamar Chase doesn't play and
65:12he averages 18 full PPR points. So, you're kind of drafting him where I have him at wide receiver 13, which is pretty
65:19much like his baseline as long as Joe Burrow is healthy and he is right now.
65:23Uh, and then you just have your a free roll where if something ever happens to Jamar Chase, now you have a first round
65:29caliber player. Uh, I feel really good about the Bengals offense this year. The offensive line's in a better spot. Joe Burrow's healthy, not dealing with like
65:37weird, you know, appendicitis or torn ACL's. No nonsense from the Bengals.
65:42They're having like, I think, a pretty Well, aside from you, you can talk about your >> understand throwing interceptions.
65:47That's the only nonsense we've seen so far in training.
65:49>> Experiment. Experiment a little. You know, this is what you can do when you have like the most like explosive offense every single year. Uh, you can
65:56>> Yeah. It's like, hey, we have the most explosive offense. Let's just change the whole thing. Yeah, >> I I I'll take the under on whatever
66:03people are projecting for this this this nonsense that they're doing. It's not going to play out.
66:07>> I'm just I'm just joking. T Higgins is also my 30th overall player. So, I I'm I was just trying to uh you know, Josh
66:15around there, let's say. Yeah. I mean, the last time that T. Higgins played 17 games with Joe Burrow, he was the wide
66:19receiver four in points per game. So, yeah, that year he went from >> You should say that again. That's a crazy stat. Like that is
66:27>> the last time he played 17 games with Joe Burrow, he was the wide receiver four in points per game. And let's say
66:32on Yahoo, you can get him as the wide receiver 14 right now. Um yeah, he went from six catches and 76 yards down to
66:40four catches for 56 yards because he went from 17 games of Joe Burrow down to eight games of Burrow, six games of
66:47Flaco, and three games of Jake Browning.
66:50So it's pretty sweet. This is when other teams wide receiver 2 should be ranked ahead of other teams wide receiver one.
66:57>> Absolutely. Yeah. Since 2022 when in burough games, Tiggins has the highest success rate of any wide receiver. Like you kind of think of T. Higgins kind of
67:06this like boom bust guy. His role has kind of adapted over over the years where it's not so down the field back
67:12shoulder related. They're getting him not screens necessarily, but more underneath stuff, quick outs, that type of thing where he is getting a little
67:19bit more volume than you were thinking about when you were drafting T. Higgins three, four years ago. And I think those
67:24type of changes are are good for T.
67:26Higgins. I don't think they're going anywhere.
67:27>> If you made it this far, hit the thumbs up, hit the like so YouTube knows you're watching. All right, 31st overall. Who's
67:35your name?
67:35>> I got Z Flowers. Um, I understand people being even higher than than this. Um I can't quite get there just because the
67:43touchdown difference like right now betting markets it's 5 a.5 that's been the the big thing. ZFL's uh red zone uh target share is about 16%. Uh outside
67:53the red zone is 28%. My guy Jacobe Lane um has been absolutely balling in camp.
68:00What is he good at? Dunking on everybody in the red zones. Like right when we're like hey no Isaiah likely Flowers didn't
68:05score a bunch of touchdowns. Here comes uh Acrobat uh Jacobe Lane. Uh, so we'll see. I think that Declan Doyle is going
68:12to be really good for him. He's gonna catch a million passes. He's going to be really explosive. All those things. I
68:18think that they're already getting kind of the most out of Z Flower's game. I think Zl is getting a little bit better.
68:23I'm not sure how much more there is than what we saw last year, but Declan Doyle might be a little bit more committed to
68:29drop backs than we saw with Monin. Uh, so um I feel good about Zay Flowers as a upside wide receiver, too. I just
68:37couldn't park him higher than that. He's also my 31st overall player and it's for many of the reasons you said at this
68:43point if he just does what he did last year he pays off this price tag basically >> I'm also using Declan Doyle coming in as
68:51a potential reset you know a different usage for all these players and >> while yes Z Flowers is smaller than Amaras Brown maybe less
69:02physical I don't think the gap in red zone targets should be as staggering as it right >> between the two. Okay, so Aman Ross St.
69:11Brown has 64 red zone targets over the last two seasons and that has equal 19 touchdowns. Z Flowers has 17 red zone targets over the
69:22last two years. So Amaras Brown has more red zone touchdowns than Z Flowers has targets inside the 20.
69:28>> Yeah. So hopefully Declan Doyles took his year working under Ben Johnson and said, "Okay, these guys are post up fade
69:39iso ball wide receivers on the outside, but with motion, with stacks, with easy quick releases that then we can get the
69:47ball to them quickly or they can continue that separation. These are some of the players we should build some of our red zone packages around, right? I'm
69:54hoping he can take some of that because even Zakias who was on Declan Doyle's team last year >> had more red zone targets and touchdowns
70:02than say Flowers did. So >> at the very least get to what Zakias did last year.
70:08>> Yeah, maybe some of the explanation between, you know, the Ravens and the Lions offense is they got this Derrick Henry uh alien uh to to just run the
70:16ball through. But we'll see. I think that if Derrick Henry misses time, then Z Flower is going to go even even
70:20crazier.
70:21But even even those offenses had Jamir Gibbs and Dave Montgomery.
70:25>> Yeah, I think you also got Lamar Jackson. I think just I've seen the Ravens, you know, like not incorporate Z
70:29Flowers even on the football field in those type of situations. So, um, >> but this is a reset.
70:33>> We're free rolling the upside here. Like if things change and I think he can go one tier ahead. I can't probably put him
70:38past like the Drake London tier of players. Um, but I do think there's a chance he can come close to that.
70:43>> All right. My 32nd overall player is Josh Allen. Who is yours?
70:47>> Uh, this where I have Javvante Williams.
70:49And I think that we're probably going to disagree on this one. Uh we've had this debate before. Uh if you guys have
70:54missed it, >> I'm just looking at the Cowboys offense and saying that's a really good offense and he was really good last year and
71:01>> I think Jaden Blue is going to play some of the passing down work, but you weren't uh ranking Javvante Williams a
71:06fringe RB1 last year because of the passing game work. Uh he was terrible at it and he was still awesome in fantasy
71:12because he's going to score all the goal line touchdowns. Jaden Blue is not a threat to Javante Williams at all between the tackles and the Cowboys are
71:19going to be top fiveish in points. Uh typically when you're top fiveish in points, the running back gets home. So he's definitely more dead zone. You have
71:28to have somebody that's actually going to take him off the field to uh to lose that. And I just don't think that the
71:33Cowboys have somebody to take him off the field. Everyone's back. Play caller, offensive line, uh George picking, CD Lamb. I think this offense ready to cut.
71:41>> We're coming up on time. We've had this conversation already. He's my 42nd overall player, but I think it's interesting that
71:46>> maybe my Kairen Williams is your Javvante Williams.
71:50>> Yeah, I think that Yeah, I just think that Jvonte Williams workload is a little bit safer uh than than Kairen's.
71:56>> Got it. And I think Kairen's better in the passing game.
71:59>> Yes, definitely.
72:01>> Got it. Um okay, my 33rd overall player, this is where I have Jeremiah Love. Um we already had that combo. So, who is
72:09your 33rd overall player? I got Travis Han right here. Um, I think the Saints offense is going to be rock solid. I
72:16think it's the best offensive line he's played behind. It's the number one uh offense in terms of neutral pace last year. Um, so these are like all positive
72:24upgrades for for him. Uh, I'm gladly betting against Alvin Chimera mattering at all. Um, and you had that stat 35 to
72:3236 reception last year were early down stuff. I think that's all you need to be an upside RBT, which that's where he
72:39finished last year. I I have Travis Achan uh a little bit lower as my 43rd overall player. Um but I totally
72:48understand uh ranking him this highly.
72:51Uh I do just want to take this moment to update the commenters that Travis Achan has requested his name be pronounced
73:01Achan instead of ETN. So that is why we've been doing it. A lot of comments recently have said, "Why are you
73:07confusing the Miami backfield with the Saints Backfield?" We are honoring the requests of the artist formerly known as Travis ETN who now wants to be known as
73:18Travis H. Fair.
73:20>> Absolutely fair. I will say this, the other Yahoo shows, they're not going to be bringing him up because I'm seeing
73:25some rankings 52nd, 52nd, you're at 41.
73:27I'm seeing a 48th overall. So, I'm on an island here of one talking about Mr.
73:32Travis Achan here. So, uh, Why do you think you're on so much of an island?
73:36Like what gives you the absolute confidence? Cuz this might be an end up your biggest flag plant of the year.
73:43>> Um I think that he's going to play like almost too much to to fail. I don't think that he is there's any threat for
73:49the goal line role. I think the Saints are going to be a totally fine offense.
73:52And then he's he's had 1,399 total yards in three of four seasons.
73:57Like I mean just do that again and like it's not even close that he would be worth this if not even more.
74:04>> The betting markets have him for just five and a half rushing touchdowns. You think that's way too low?
74:08>> I think like I don't understand that one at all.
74:11>> Okay. Interesting. Yeah. I I would not have guessed that Travis Agent he was in, you know, your perfect draft or
74:17ideal draft and all that type of stuff.
74:19But um heading into this offseason, heading into this month, I would not have expected him to kind of be your flag plant player compared to the
74:26market, but he is. I think it's the Alvin Chimera effect. I'm like, I know what Alvin Chimera is at this point. I'm
74:31not I'm not afraid.
74:33>> Uh my 34th player is Trey McBride. We've already talked about him. What about yours?
74:37>> Chris Olive is at uh my wide receiver, 15, right at the three, four turns. All these guys are so similar. Um like I
74:43said, you know, first and neutral pace.
74:45Uh neutral pass rate was rock solid last year as well, kind of middle of the pack. He's an excellent football player.
74:50He's got some, you know, like nagging injuries like every single year. Uh so do a lot of wide receivers, especially as a lot of wide receivers get a little
74:57bit skinnier. Uh in 2025, Ave's AOT dropped to 11.8 yards because he had 3.4 receptions per games within five air yards in the first uh three seasons of
75:08his career. That was at 1.6. So he pretty much doubled up his kind of gimme looks last year. Not a surprise if you
75:14studied Kell Moore over the seasons uh as we have. Jordan Tyson I think is a somewhat of a threat here to like take
75:22down some some target share numbers from him where Chris was a wide receiver one last year and now I'm projecting him as
75:27a wide receiver two. Um but I feel really solid about this offense in general. I think that as long as Tyler
75:33Shuck does like a the same kind of play as he had last year and most quarterbacks get better in the second
75:39season. I think both of these Saints guys where they're being drafted are targets. I was going to ask you about the Jordan Tyson effect because it kind
75:47of sounds like just reading Under Hill's tweets, the up and down nature of the Saints offense has been such a bit of a
75:54roller coaster. Some practices they look great, some they don't, but like the constant has been that Jordan Tyson is a dog. Um,
76:01>> correct.
76:02>> And so, is it in the realm of possibility that Jordan Tyson just outscores Chris Olive this year? Like, that is kind of factoring into my brain,
76:08but maybe that is just training camp brain that I'm I'm being a part of right now. It's possible. I would say
76:13unlikely. Um, but looking looking back at the Travis Aan, the betting markets have a lobby at five and a half receiving touchdowns and then Achan five
76:22and a half rushing touchdowns. Like running backs just score more touchdowns. Like I'm just confused at like the the pessimism that we have
76:27collectively for for the Saints running back.
76:29>> Yeah. And while some of the underlying metrics for the Saints last year were really good, like the pace as what
76:35you're talking about and it can kind of be tough to split it in half, you know, when it was Rattler and then Chuck. Um
76:41there are just obvious areas where they can improve. One is the running back usage. Uh I mean I think they had the
76:47lowest expected points per game, two running backs last year.
76:50>> The other point is that they were dead last in red zone touchdown success rate at 44%. So get back to average across
76:57the league and more points are going to be scored on top of that too. So the Saints and a lot of these underlying
77:02numbers, especially with the offensive line investment that they've made, can get back to to average or positive even.
77:10Mhm.
77:10>> Uh my 34th overall player is Trey McBride. I think I've already said that.
77:14So that brings us to the 35th overall player. Who's yours?
77:18>> I got a Mecha Ibuka. This is a long conversation. We've had this many times.
77:23I'm grading towards the Flashes here. He was the wide receiver nine through week 11 as a rookie firstrounder. Uh he has
77:30positive splits when Mike Evans is not on the field. Um and then he also had positive splits before his hamstring injury in terms of the tracking data.
77:39NextGen stats uh had him like hitting 18 miles per hour way off way more often before injury versus after the injury.
77:47Then this offseason, great news, Mike Evans is no longer with the team. Uh and then Zack Robinson comes in. It's going
77:53to put him at Z slot Z, which is the role that we want, the role that, you know, Cooper Cup had a triple crown
78:00season. We saw Drake London kind of be the focal point of the offense with Zack Robinson. I think that Zach Robinson, I
78:05can trust him to get the most out of their top target. The best skill player on the team to me is Amecha Igbuka. I
78:12thought Chris God was wasn't moving quite as good. Bucky Irving didn't have the season. I think that Ibuka has the chance to be like a version of the JSN
78:21stuff, you know, like an 80% JSN season.
78:23I think that Acha Ibuka has uh is one of the most prime candidates for like round three, four player that absolutely just
78:30smashes. We've seen Baker Mayfield put up huge numbers before.
78:34>> 33 through 36 is like frying my brain and I don't know how to rank it.
78:39>> I even would say like 33 through 40 is that case and Mecha Ibuka falls in that range for me. Uh
78:47>> I can totally see it like when Baker runs hot, EMCA runs hot and Zack Robinson last year again despite the
78:54Falcons not being you know one of the best teams in the league to put it lightly uh he got the fantasy guys there
78:59right. And we're hoping that is the case being Muka this year and uh this role that he's in has just equaled fantasy
79:07points and it is a layup for his skill set. So there is a chance like we get to real draft week and Ivan Mechuka at the
79:15top of this tier, but right now I I don't >> Yeah, look at Matt Harmon uh has him at 32nd overall. That's like Yeah. Whenever
79:22I'm looking at my wide receiver rankings, I'm positive and then Matt's even more positive than than I am. I feel good about it.
79:28>> Yeah. Well, I'm kind of surprised you haven't mentioned this guy's name yet, but my 35th overall player is Jaylen Wadd. Um, I think you might have just
79:36changed some of your rankings in reference to Jaylen Wadd. Um, >> I also look, okay, first I'll say the positives, okay, we we've talked about
79:44Jaylen Waddle a lot. Um, >> I mean, weeks one through 16 last year, he was the wide receiver, 18 in points
79:51per game on an offense that was 31st in plays per contest. And now he goes to a team that finished fifth in plays per
79:57game. I mean, just to outline that, Courtland Sutton ran 664 routes and Jaylen Wadd ran 442 routes. Uh, and he still finished the wide receiver
80:0818 in points per game. So, we're getting more. He is the differencemaker for this offense this year. Um, I do think some people are going a bit
80:17overboard, though. And it's weird. I don't want to finish this statement with a negative thing, but like this is where Harmon has someone Jaylen Waddle 25th
80:25overall. Boon has him 29th overall. So I feel bad where it felt like I was ahead of market, ahead of the public on Jaylen
80:32Waddle. And now I look at my colleagues, I'm like I'm almost a full round different and where Harmon has it.
80:37>> Yeah, I moved him down after the injury to 37th overall.
80:42>> Okay, >> I want Jaylen Wadd on my football team.
80:44And if we get positive news from injury, we have tons of time for this to to kind of settle where he's, you know, the last
80:50three weeks of camp, he's out there, no questions about it, I will easily have him ahead of Devonte Smith, T. Higgins,
80:56and those guys as a middle of the third round guy. It would be him versus like Trey McBride. So, I moved him down in
81:03within this tier. Um, >> I mean, he's going to absolutely shred.
81:06He's shredded as a top target before.
81:08Uh, we've seen Shawn Payeyton dial things up for number one players before.
81:13They've screen game number one since Bo Knicks has been around for for the Broncos. That slides right into Jaylen Wadd. There's not that much target
81:21competition behind him. And the Broncos quietly have been very pass over the last couple seasons on top of that. And I know he's really good at football. You
81:29trade a first round pick for him. Like if he's healthy, there's like no there's no downside, you know?
81:34>> Yeah. And whoever's rankings you use, you're going to end up with Jaylen Wadd on your team because we're all ahead of
81:40where he's being drafted. Like in baseball, he's the 37th overall player.
81:46On Yahoo, it's even much later than that as the 42nd overall player. So whether it's mine or Hayden's or especially Harman's, you're going to end up with
81:54Jaylen Wadd on your team. And I think that's a positive. I think it's a positive.
81:57>> Yep.
81:58>> Okay, let's close this thing out. Who's your 36th overall player?
82:01>> All right, Ted Rowan McMillan. Uh, I thought his rookie tape was awesome.
82:05Reminds me of Drake London in a lot of ways. I think like the thing that pe other people were nitpicking was like
82:11his long speed. There was too many crossing routes where he's creating separation on those for me to to give a crap about that. I think like Drake
82:17London uh could be utilized underneath in some of the manufactured stuff and then whenever it was a fourth and two, which somehow the Panthers were always
82:25in like fourth and twos, they would have these like huge downfield plays to Tedo McMillan. I think he's awesome. I think
82:31that he can dance against off coverage.
82:33I think in man coverage he can win with power. Um and right now the the Panthers um they've been dealing with so many
82:40injuries like to the point where like is this going to be like some team that just like has to throw the ball way more
82:45than they ever wanted to whether that's offensive line, defense, edge rusher, those type of of players where it's like >> wide receiver on top of
82:52>> Yeah. the other wide receivers. Yeah.
82:54Like where like you know what they pass way more than they wanted to and that's good news for Tedoa. So, I wouldn't I
82:59wouldn't be surprised. Him and Amecha Igbuka like are just way better than where their their ranking is currently.
83:06You kind of have to wish cast some things, but I think I'm willing to do it with him.
83:08>> Yeah. A big thing with the Panthers is they have started too slow with their passing offenses and they've hit their
83:13strides when you've gotten to the later portions of October, especially November and December and even the playoffs last year. Um, and I think switching to
83:21Bradzik is going to help that. um because that you have that communication, someone who's only focused on working on the best concepts,
83:28how to attack defenses, game planning every single week versus the head coach that has to do a whole bunch of other
83:33things. So, I think they looked at it over the slow starts over the last two years and said, "Hey, a change in play
83:38caller is how to do that." Also, team gained 12 pounds of muscle, he said, and you can see it in all these reps.
83:43>> Yes.
83:44>> Uh he's just a bigger dude. this is what he played at Arizona and there were a couple 50-50 situations that he didn't
83:50win last year and if he even wins those this year on top of what he showed um you have like a really special player I
83:57think in team >> agree yeah I think he's dead >> okay 36 overall to me Hayden is undecided uh >> let's decide
84:06>> I have Chris Ted McMillan Garrett Wilson Lad Makanki Mechbuka or or Coulson Loveland here and on any given day it's
84:14one of those players Like I have a here in this instance. I did have T-Mac.
84:18Garrett Wilson is someone that has alpha traits and maybe just maybe Gino Smith is good enough that he finally allows him for a 17 game span to score as a top
84:2912 wide receiver because I know he has the talent to do it. Lad Mac is the player this year that might benefit the
84:34most from heavier personnel looks among all wide receivers. Talked about mechuka. Then you have Coulson Loveland who might be the next great one at at
84:43tight end and might be the focal point of that passing game. So again, every day it's different here at 36 overall.
84:49Uh and that's how I'm going to leave it until next time.
84:52>> Yeah, we have the same group of players.
84:53Every player that we talked about, including that list, is my top 43 overall. Uh and that that would be the exact same top 43. And then you kind of
85:01get to a tier break where it's like to me Cam Scatabo, Lamar Jackson, J Mo, Christian Watson. So, like anywhere in
85:06the the 3, four turn, I think ends at like 43rd overall. Uh, that was a lot of players that are really young that we
85:13just talked about. Like a lot of players like rookie contracts or just Stein their their first extension. We're we're in a good spot in fantasy where I'm not
85:20expecting there to be that many like stone cold bust in all these uh these this range. We just have to like, you
85:26know, actually hit on the guys that moved up a full round or two. And uh hopefully we we made that easier for you
85:32guys.
85:32>> All right, we'll get out of here in less than 90 minutes. Thanks to Weaves and Moshow behind the scenes for helping us
