Aaron Jones

PositiveValue30:23

Aaron Jones is a strong start as the RB10, despite consensus rankings placing him at RB17. He faces a highly favorable matchup against the Dolphins and is expected to command at least 80% of the workload. Kevin O'Connell has indicated the team wants him on the field for every snap, and he is projected for 20+ carries in a run-heavy Vikings offense.

Insight page

Ashton Jeanty

NegativeProjection25:52

Jeanty is ranked as the RB13, significantly lower than his consensus RB8 ranking, due to having the third-worst success rate among RBs with 30+ carries and a low rate of 10+ yard gains despite high volume.

Insight page

Bijan Robinson

PositiveProjection3:43

Bijan Robinson is ranked as the RB2 and remains in the S-tier for Week 4. Since late 2024, in 13 games with Michael Penix Jr. at quarterback, Robinson has been the overall RB1, averaging 22.6 half-PPR points per game with RB2-level usage.

Insight page

Braelon Allen

PositiveRole65:51

Braelon Allen is expected to command roughly 80% of the Jets' backfield value while Breece Hall is out, making him a reliable RB2 option with a floor of at least 13 fantasy points. While the source does not view Allen as a high-end talent, his projected high snap volume makes him a fantasy-relevant asset regardless of his individual skill level.

Insight page

Cam Akers

PositiveValue30:23

The source identifies Akers as an underrated RB2 in the B tier. His fantasy outlook is bolstered by the absence of Devin Singletary, who was a healthy scratch, and he has recently seen goal-line work. His situation is noted as being similar to Ashton Genty's in terms of team totals and usage patterns.

Insight page

Chase Brown

NegativeUsage30:12

Brown is considered an 'A tier' player but faces a difficult matchup against Jacksonville. His target share has dropped to 10.7% from 16% last year, and his reception volume is negatively impacted when Tee Higgins and Ja'Marr Chase are on the field.

Insight page

Chris Rodriguez

NegativeRole61:51

Rodriguez competes with Brian Robinson Jr. for goal-line carries in the Commanders' offense, which prevents Robinson from monopolizing high-value touches.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

PositiveProjection9:15

Christian McCaffrey is ranked as the RB5 for the upcoming week against the Denver Broncos, placing him in the 'S tier' due to his expected usage in a close game script and the Broncos' defensive vulnerability against pass-catching running backs.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

PositiveProjection16:46

Chuba Hubbard is a locked-in tier A fantasy running back, ranked as the RB9 by the source compared to the consensus RB14. He essentially never leaves the field, even in trailing game scripts, making him a game-script-independent, volume-based asset. He has shown high efficiency, finishing as the RB9 on RB15 usage and the RB12 on RB7 usage in 2024, and is projected for 24 points this week despite offensive line injuries.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

PositiveUsage27:26

Swift is ranked as the RB14 and remains an 'A tier' player, bolstered by his high usage inside the 10-yard line (second most carries among RBs) and a favorable matchup against the Jets.

Insight page

David Montgomery

PositiveProjection62:33

David Montgomery is a viable RB2 start this week against the Dallas Cowboys, with the return of right guard Ed Ingram and the presence of Nico Collins expected to boost goal-line opportunities. Despite his current RB20 status and poor efficiency—recording 3 yards per carry in Week 1 and 1.8 yards per carry in Week 2—he remains a startable asset. However, his workload faces pressure as the Texans are expected to increase Woody Marks' usage, threatening the current 50-50 snap split.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

PositiveProjection12:47

Derrick Henry is an S-tier start for the upcoming week, as the Ravens are projected for the most points and are expected to be the most run-heavy team in the NFL. Pairing Henry with Kenneth Walker III is identified as a superior, high-upside roster-building strategy. Despite concerns regarding the Ravens' offensive line and a matchup against Jeffrey Simmons, Henry is poised for significant production in positive game scripts.

Insight page

Devin Singletary

NegativeDepth Chart31:11

The source notes that Singletary being a healthy scratch is a net positive for the fantasy outlook of his teammate, Cam Akers.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

NegativeMatchup22:31

DK Metcalf is ranked as the WR33 due to a difficult matchup against Denzel Ward, who recently limited Tedoro McMillan; the source expects similar struggles for Metcalf.

Insight page

Emari Demercado

NegativeUsage9:54

Emari Demercado's usage is heavily skewed by game script, with 75% of his touches occurring when the Chiefs are leading by 10 or more points.

Insight page

Isaiah Davis

NegativeDepth Chart66:52

Isaiah Davis has been active for every game this season but has yet to play an offensive snap; however, the source expects his usage to change moving forward.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

NegativeUsage28:51

Chase's target share and reception totals decrease when both he and Tee Higgins are active on the field.

Insight page

Jahmyr Gibbs

PositiveProjection1:56

Jahmyr Gibbs is ranked in the S-tier for Week 4 against the Carolina Panthers, who have been gashed by running backs. He is currently seeing 75% of the work and has recorded the ninth-most half-PPR points by a running back in the first three games of an NFL season in history; if he maintains this pace, he could break the fantasy points record set by LaDainian Tomlinson.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveUsage13:41

James Cook maintains a consistent role as a top-10 back in carries and rushing yards per game. While he loses some goal-line work to Josh Allen, the Bills' high-powered offense provides enough volume to compensate. The source notes his excellent efficiency and explosive play potential, dismissing concerns about the Patriots' run defense, despite a recent scoreless game against the Texans.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

NegativeUsage31:57

Williams faces a difficult matchup against the Houston Texans, but maintains a solid fantasy floor by averaging 3.3 receptions per game.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

PositiveUsage22:06

Warren is a high-upside play and a top-10 caliber running back, having played 93% of snaps since Week 2 when Rico Dowdle is off the field. He is trusted in pass protection, is an explosive receiver, and is projected for 101.5 total yards by the betting market.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveProjection15:01

Jeremiah Love is ranked as the RB8, his highest ranking of the season. He boasts the ninth-best success rate among backs with 25+ carries and demonstrated his ability to grind out tough yards with 26 touches in week three. He is considered a top-eight back for the rest of the season due to his high snap share and explosive potential.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

PositiveProjection8:39

Jonathan Taylor is ranked as the RB4, ahead of the consensus RB6, and is considered an S-tier asset. Despite a scoreless outing against the Texans, he has been excellent in every other game with Daniel Jones available, averaging over 100 rushing yards and 1.25 touchdowns per game. The upcoming matchup against the Commanders is favorable due to their depleted linebacker corps, including the absence of Leo Chenal and injury concerns for Frankie Luvu. In auction formats, he has commanded significant capital, with one manager spending $451 of a $1,000 budget.

Insight page

Jordan Mason

PositiveValue33:20

The source recommends buying low on Mason while he is sidelined with a hand/thumb injury. Upon his return, he is expected to compete for backfield work, which could potentially reduce Aaron Jones's heavy snap share.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveProjection7:17

Kenneth Walker III is ranked as the RB3 and placed in the S-tier. He leads in forced missed tackles and 10-plus yard runs, while showing significant improvement in success rate compared to his time in Seattle. He currently ranks as RB5 in carries and RB6 in receptions per game, with the Chiefs offense ranking seventh in points per drive. He is expected to see increased usage in a close division game against the Raiders. Additionally, drafting him alongside Derrick Henry is considered a superior roster-building strategy.

Insight page

Michael Penix Jr.

PositiveUsage3:52

Michael Penix Jr. has significantly improved the Falcons' offensive outlook compared to the Cooper Rush era, with Bijan Robinson thriving as the overall RB1 in games where Penix is the starter.

Insight page

Mike Washington Jr.

PositiveUsage27:03

Washington is expected to see increased change-of-pace opportunities as he continues to make plays, potentially eating into the workload of the primary back.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeUsage32:54

While Barkley retains elite speed and ability, his fantasy upside is capped by poor run blocking, an struggling Eagles offense, and unfavorable game flow. He is further limited by Jalen Hurts' role as the primary goal-line threat and a lack of receiving volume, averaging only one catch per game.

Insight page

Woody Marks

NegativeUsage63:28

The Texans are expected to increase Woody Marks' workload moving forward, which threatens the backfield split for David Montgomery, as the team is already operating in a 50-50 snap share.

0:00Your week four running back rankings are right here. And Hayden, I think there are 15 16 teams projected for over 23
0:07points, including some that really haven't hit that total on a weekly basis right now. So like this might be one of
0:13the better, I think, offensive environments uh of the season so far. I can't wait. It's been a heck of a year,
0:19a confusing year, uh but one that we're going to try to get right from here on out because as you always say, this is a
0:24a forward thinking program.
0:26>> It is. And the other thing I noticed doing my rankings is once you get to about running back 20, we get into some
0:31really really tough uh rankings and I think there's going to be a lot of disagreement here. So I think we're going to try to settle that uh today.
0:38But I took some like pretty big stances this week versus I I have in previous weeks. I think that's what's going to
0:44happen as uh we get a little bit more data but also a little bit more confusion as players get injured. Should
0:49I recite my tight end stat for the 15th time this week that uh the tight end 17 is outscoring the running back 25 in
0:57points per game right now. So keep that in mind with some of your flexes uh in those conversations. Uh you can pick up
1:04someone literally off the wafer wire at tight end if he's in, you know, uh 12 personnel sets and he might be a better
1:10option than running back 25 on this list. But we move and I mean these first three are locked and loaded. Jir Gibbs S
1:19tier at the Carolina Panthers. Sunday Night Football, the Lions have a team total of 27 and a quarter points. Uh Panthers defensive line has been uh
1:30gashed at times. Y >> uh but especially in the pass rush, they are not quite as good, but Jir Gibbs, I
1:35mean, the move that he put on the Jets last week was sensational stuff. And it truly is, hey, let's give him 75% of the
1:42work. And magic is happening on a weekly basis. He has the ninth most half PPR points by a running back for the first
1:47three games in NFL history. If he keeps up this pace, he would break the uh fantasy points record which set by
1:53Leenian Thomasson. So like this is what we were expecting. This is what he's done. Like you said, the Carolina Panthers been getting gashed on the
1:59ground here. Second most fantasy points for running backs on the most efficiency. So I'm like my expected points model, the actual points, the
2:05biggest gap at uh defense uh is the Carolina Panthers against running backs.
2:09So smash spot uh as usual. And I think I saw that Kade Mays might be getting closer to working back um at the center
2:17spot and that's important because the Lions have already dealt with some offensive line injuries but done a decent job up front. Okay, Bejian
2:23Robinson is your running back too. Still in S tier here. This is at the New Orleans Saints. It's a whole new world
2:31for the Falcons with Michael Pinnick at quarterback. With that said, the Falcons are at 22 and a half points right now,
2:39which is much better than they were with Cooper Rush.
2:40>> Yes, definitely. So, he's cleared 25 half PPR points in six of his uh 10 most recent games. That's that's ridiculous.
2:47Uh he's played 13 games with Michael Pennix now going back to late 2024. Over that time frame, he's the RB1 overall
2:54with Pennix at 22.6 half PPR points, RB2 usage as well. So, like that's how he closes the gap to towards Jir Gibbs uh
3:04versus you know the games with Cooper Rush there.
3:07>> Yeah, I I totally agree. Like the first two weeks, despite Bejian's incredible week one when he was the entire offense,
3:13it looked like there was going to be this sizable gap between the running back one and two and three, it still
3:19might be a large gap, but the running back two and three uh I think are a bit closer than maybe we expected after
3:25that. Go ahead.
3:26>> The Saints uh defense is getting pretty good. Like there's more data to suggest that they're actually like a pretty formidable unit. I think that Chase
3:33Young individually is playing really strong, but only one running back's cleared over 21 half PPR points dating back to 2025 against the Saints. Bejon
3:41only had 43 yards scoreless uh in the week 18 game last year as well. It's not enough for me to scare up Bejon
3:47obviously, but just something to keep in mind like Saints defense pretty solid.
3:51>> And while Bejon is the running back four in points per game on the season, he's still scoring over 23 points per
3:57contest. So like at times we get so focused on okay where he's at according to the other running backs uh those guys
4:04are still the you know upside legendary season on those trajectories and and if that continues then if we get four of
4:11those names that is incredible because typically we search for one guy over about 21 points. I hope you guys watch stats versus film, but if you haven't,
4:18we started the show with this like crazy ADP chart, and I colorcoded it where most players look like they're worthless. But the reason why I did that
4:26is because I wanted to highlight just how important nailing your first and second and third round picks are and there's a couple guys that have done
4:34that and like those guys are completely carrying fantasy teams.
4:37>> Well, Ken Walker the third is that name at the one two turn. He is your running back three. I'm also going to put him in
4:44S tier. I'm sure that's fine with you.
4:45This is at the Las Vegas Raiders. I mean, he is just at the top of the list when we talk about force miss tackles
4:52and 10 plus yard runs. It was also on my radar that he is near the top in terms of success rate as well among all
4:59running backs. And that just shows you how much an environmental change can change a stat like that. when in previous years with the Seattle
5:07Seahawks, if people held a negative against Ken Walker the third, it was he was a less efficient uh lower success rate style runner.
5:15>> I mean, just wa watch the games. I I would suggest to people for that. Uh this year, he's RB5 in carries, RB6 in
5:22receptions per game, and the Chiefs offense is seventh in points per drive.
5:26They're fifth in projected points here.
5:28Uh he's only coming off the field largely in blowout wins. And right now, >> right now, the uh the the Raiders are
5:37only expected to lose by four and a half. So like in theory, this game should be fairly close here. And in
5:42theory, that should mean a lot more Kenneth Walker usage. This is a division game on top of it at 3 and 0. Like this
5:47game's like this is a big deal to the Chiefs here. Um so I wouldn't be surprised if he gets more touches than
5:52he did last week against the Dolphins.
5:54Yeah, I think he has or 75% of Emtt Johnson's touches this year have been when the Chiefs are up by 10 plus
6:01points.
6:01>> That makes sense.
6:02>> It makes total sense. Jonathan Taylor at the Washington Commanders is your running back four. This is slightly higher than consensus rankings who have
6:11him as the running back six. Is he also S tier, the new member of your death league squad, or are we dropping down to
6:17A tier and these three guys are in a world of their own?
6:20>> Um, let's keep him here. Uh, I think that Jonathan Taylor's in an excellent spot. I just don't want to panic over,
6:25you know, games against the Texans.
6:27Like, you know, wasn't the best game for for Indianapolis. Uh, and there's another game recently for Jonathan Taylor against the Texans. Didn't show
6:34up. Every other game he's been excellent with, uh, Daniel Jones available going back to last year and this year. He's the RB1 overall, RB3 usage. He's
6:43averaging over 100 rushing yards, 1.25 rushing touchdowns per game. I don't think he's going to hit those numbers exactly with Alec Pierce. I think
6:50there's going to be some onoff splits, just not as drastic as it was last week against an elite, uh, defense. So, uh,
6:58the the Washington Commanders have been like pretty decent. Um, >> yep.
7:03>> Recently, yes, definitely. So, at the same time, Frankie Lubu didn't play last week. Leo Chanel, their other linebacker, he's going to be out, I
7:10think, I'm assuming, play the rest of the season with with neck surgery there.
7:13So, they're on to their like fourth and fifth string linebackers. Sunonny Styles is amazing, but he's also a rookie out there. So, I think total totally uh
7:20getable uh environment for Jonathan Taylor here.
7:23>> I think I saw that LVU is returning to practice, but that doesn't mean he's necessarily going to play this week. So,
7:27just something to to keep in mind.
7:29Another thing I'm going to watch here is what I brought up in stats versus film um about Alec Pierce's on andoff splits
7:35or I'd say Jonathan Taylor and the rushing attacks onoff splits without him on the field where you know their second yards per carry fourth in contact per
7:43attempt before contact per attempt I should say uh with Alec Pierce on the field and then off of it that drops down
7:48to 30th and 30th but like you said we might be working with small samples here and they face the Houston Texans last
7:53week but again this gives us another layer on top of that and the reason I brought up Dvonte Jones is while he's
7:58not blitzing as much as Brian Flores who we coach with with the Minnesota Vikings, we have always attributed difficulty to run on the Vikings front
8:05even if they're not loaded up there with, you know, linebackers and defensive tackles. And Jones seems to have taken a little bit from that system
8:13and and the the commanders are doing very solid in that area to start the season.
8:17>> I just looked up NextGen stats has eight plus defenders in the box rate. In week three, it was 21% for Jonathan Taylor.
8:24The rest of the season, it was 20%. Like this is something where I think largely that was just you're facing Denil Hunter
8:29and Will Anderson and the rest of its noise.
8:31>> Totally fine. And I mentioned the death league yesterday in SAS versus film. You all wanted updates on that. Uh Hayden
8:39spent $451 of his $1,000 budget on Jonathan Taylor. I was the next offer at 404. Hayden also spent $285
8:48on Trey McBride. Uh Hayden is now left with $11 for the remainder of the season. Uh but has the highest projected
8:57points. Meanwhile, I'm second in projected points with 11 teams to go.
9:00But I still have 609 of my budget. So, uh this is going to be fascinating.
9:04We'll track this all year long. And again, like I said, >> we're definitely going to do some death leagues with the community next summer
9:10because I'm having a blast with it and it makes waiverss more fun than it ever has for like the last decade.
9:15>> Oh, yeah. Christian McCaffrey vers the Denver Broncos is your running back five. S tier, A tier, where we going?
9:23>> Uh I wanted to go bold. I want to do an S tier for for Christian McCaffrey. This is just like a trust the tape uh play
9:29for me. Uh first of all, it's expected to be a close game three-point favorite here uh for the 49ers. They've been
9:35excellent. Number one EPA per play, number one in success rate. But the reason why I wanted to bring up the tape
9:39is the Denver Broncos linebackers have been absolutely targeted. We saw that with Shawn McVey last uh last game here with Kairen Williams out in the slot
9:48doing little choice routes, quick quick outs, that type of stuff and it was very very successful. Kyron Williams also had a great game on the ground. And then
9:56rewinding to the first couple games, Kenneth Walker and Basil Tude were just breaking so many tackles against these linebackers. It's the weak spot of the
10:04unit right now. No John Franklin Myers on the defensive line for the Denver Broncos. Jonathan Cooper still been silent with the domestic abuse uh
10:11allegation. So, I think this is a great spot for Christian McCaffrey to like step up in his usage in general. They
10:18didn't need him against the Rams. He was cramping. Didn't need him against the Miami Dolphins. Had an excellent game against the Cardinals last week. Like,
10:25to me, going into this game, this is the first time they really, really need him.
10:29Uh especially with Mike Evans, I'm guessing, is not going to play in the rest of their injuries.
10:32>> Yeah, great points. They're projected for 25 and a quarter points still against the Denver Broncos defense. Uh, I will add that through three games, and
10:41it's only through three games, CMC is the running back seven, averaging 17.2 fantasy points per contest. Um, last season he averaged 22.3 when he was the
10:52running back one. So, we're getting about a five point difference here right now, but that can kind of be attributed to uh week one when he was only at 11.3.
11:00And like you said, maybe some closer games leans more CMC. And this is kind of the first time it's really going to
11:05be tested since that week one performance against the LA Rams. how much Kaylin Black is gonna play in kind of these closer contests. Okay. Derrick
11:13Henry is the running back four in consensus rankings, but this week he's the running back six for you. This against the Tennessee Titans, a true
11:21revenge game. Are we putting Dh in that spot in the A tier?
11:26>> I mean, the Ravens are projected for the most points. So, I'm I'm gonna go S tier for for Derrick Henry as well.
11:32>> Big S tier this week.
11:33>> Big S tier. Uh, and obviously, you know, it's Gibbs and kind of everyone else, but, uh, all these elite running backs
11:39are in excellent spots. The Ravens are projected for the most points. They're expected to win by 11 and a half points.
11:44Uh, I posted a chart just looking at like game scripts. Uh, and based off like the neutral pass rate of the team,
11:50which the Ravens right now are the most like runheavy team in the NFL, and then point spread. And the most runheavy team
11:56expected this week is obviously going to be the Baltimore Ravens here.
11:59The reason why he's below and well why you said I'm a couple spots below. I think the reason why I'm a couple spots
12:04below is because they're on like their third string center which is you know their first round guard who's really never played center. Uh and then Ronnie
12:11Stanley's been in and out of the lineup.
12:13I would say by far the worst offensive line for any of these top six running backs is the Baltimore Ravens. The
12:19advantage is you have Lamar Jackson next to you which opens things up. So it's not reason to panic. But if you're going
12:24to nitpick these guys, Derrick Henry's matchup, you know, Jeffrey Simmons versus interior lineman, I guess like that's the reason why I'd be down a
12:30little bit.
12:30>> You might disagree on this. I am seeing some woe is me. If I didn't get the number one pick in drafts this year,
12:39then I'm already playing from behind. I would posit that the best spot would have been the 11th or 12th pick and you
12:47go Ken Walker the third and Derrick Henry. like that strategy would be winning more so than Jir Gibbs and then like the one two turn or the two three
12:56turn players at that was like Nico Collins, George Pickkins, AJ Brown.
13:01Obviously there are other great players in like Trey McBride, Karen Williams, Devonte Smith, Jeremiah Love in that round three area, but like
13:08>> one two at the 101 and one two at the 112 if you just did the combo of Ken Walker and Dererick Henry would be
13:16massive to start the season. I looked back at some of my teams. I have a couple JSN with Kenneth Walker teams.
13:22Like those gosh.
13:24>> Yeah. Uh the Titans are one of two teams remaining that have yet to run an offensive play while leading this
13:32season.
13:33>> So yeah, if positive game script like we're we're expecting with the Ravens, >> then yeah, uh Dererick Henry to the
13:41moon. All right, now we drop down. It's pretty obvious now. James Cook is coming off a sensational game, a 2025esque
13:50game here for James Cook. Um, facing the New England Patriots this week. What are you expecting in week four for him?
13:57>> The role is the exact same as last year through three weeks. He's averaging 1.3 receptions per game. That's RB 33. And
14:04at the same times, he he's top 10 in carries per game and rushing yards per game. He's going to lose some goal line
14:09touchdowns, but the Bills have so many goal line attempts because they're an awesome offense that, you know, you could live with the Josh Allen tush push
14:15touchdown because later on you're going to get one from James Cook. Also, efficiency on the ground has been excellent as usual. They had four or
14:23five returning starters, uh the same head coach or the same play caller on offense and he's been ripping uh explosive plays. We haven't seen like
14:31the 60 yard touchdown. That's absolutely in his bag here. The Patriots have been very very good uh against fantasy running backs uh dating back to last
14:39year. That was against a terrible schedule. Um and last week Jaguars running backs combined for the third most points of the week against the
14:46Patriots. And then James Cook also had uh three touchdowns to 100 yards his last game against the Patriots. So I'm like largely throwing out the Patriots
14:54elite run defense. Uh even though they have two awesome defensive tackles, there's like more to that. Uh and they're expected to win by nearly a
15:01touchdown.
15:01>> Let's talk Jeremiah Love. He's your running back eight. This is at the New York Giants. Easily the highest he has
15:07ranked heading into a game so far this season. Uh Hayden, what stood out to me is for a player that we think has a lot
15:16of flash and pizzazz and explosiveness, he is has the ninth best success rate among all running backs with 25 plus carries so far this year. That says to
15:26me that he can still grind it out like he did against the San Francisco 49ers.
15:30tough running, muddy, you know, lanes, uh, attacked by the linebackers and was spinning off and trying to get those hidden extra few yards. Yeah. And that's
15:39great to see for a guy who handled 26 touches in week three.
15:42>> That's kind of the difference between like a 214 pound back versus like a 200lb back. I think like those additional couple yards are helping him
15:49out. The Cardinals offensive line is like I think largely fine. It's not great. It's not terrible either. I think it's totally fine. He was a little bit
15:56dancy to me, but the juice when he's dancing is like so evident. and he's going to be ripping off some huge plays
16:01here any second. So, I think the matchup looks really strong uh as well. I don't trust the Giants uh uh offense on the
16:08other side with Jameus Winston. No, they're still looking for like high quality defensive tackles. They got a rookie linebacker. I really like Arlel
16:15Ree. We're kind of new to the position as well. They won't have Brian Burns on the other side here. The Arizona
16:20Cardinals projected for the 14th most points above 23 above average projected offense here. and he did not come off the field last week pretty much like and
16:28on the time they got Tyler Algier the ball he got a a little screen on or a ball in the flats and like he just
16:34couldn't move like so this is the status quo and I think for the rest of the season he would be at least a top eight
16:39running back >> and then in the easier matchups like maybe this one that's when we get to see the real explosives you know yep excited
16:46to see it Hubard is next for you he's running back 14 in consensus rankings running back nine for you this against
16:54the Detroit Lions I will add that Damen Lewis, the Panthers left guard, has already been ruled out for week three.
17:00He was easily their best offensive lineman against the Cleveland Browns.
17:03And yet, maybe without Jaylen Coker, who knows, and Xavier Legette and all this type of stuff, the Panthers are still projected for nearly 24 points at home
17:12on Sunday Night Football against this Lions defense. So, does that make Chuba A tier or is this a small A tier
17:18removing him to B?
17:19>> No, I think this is a tier. They're projected for 24 points still and the Lions defense is just totally getable. I
17:25don't like all the injuries the Panthers are um have on both sides of the ball, but they're projected for 24 points and
17:32he pretty much doesn't come off the field. And let's say they are trailing.
17:35Uh first of all, remember like Travis Aan in the first week. He finished a top 24 fantasy running back, which sounds
17:40insane uh after the next couple games, but he did that because he caught like a careerhigh in in receptions. I think
17:46that Chuba Hubard could back door into that because they're not going to have AJ Dylan if they're trailing. Chuba Hubbers wouldn't come off the field at
17:52that point. So, it's kind of like game script independent volume based player and then he's also been quite good efficiency wise. Obviously, it's going
18:00to stink not having Damen Lewis out there. Um, but man, he's the RB9 on RB15 usage and he had a season in 2024 where
18:08he's the RB12 on RB7 usage. Like, he is right on this RB12 border every single week. It's time for the stand your
18:15ground picks presented by DraftKings Sports. Every game day means more with DraftKings Sports. The crown is yours.
18:23And after multiple weeks of Chuba Hubard, the name this week, the old name this week is Aaron Jones. He is your
18:31running back 10. Consensus rankings have him as running back 17. And Hayden, we talk about great matchups. There is none better right now in the entire NFL than
18:41the Miami Dolphins. And that's exactly who Aaron Jones faces. I want to read you this Kevin Oonnell quote quickly. We would love to have him in there for
18:48every single snap if we could. It's just we're putting a lot on him right now and he's handling it. We're trying to
18:53navigate it to make sure that he's the lead back. So DJ Dallas is the other option. Uh they just signed Devin Neil
19:00as well. So uh Hayden, I think we're having another week where Aaron Jones is going to see 80% of the workload at
19:06least.
19:07>> Yeah, at least. I mean, he pretty much doesn't come off the field. There was a couple Claybourne runs where I thought
19:11there was a wide open hole that he didn't hit. So, it just it's just not going to happen with those those uh type
19:15of players. They are expected to score 24 and a half points. The Miami Dolphins uh can't they're not going to put up any
19:21points against the Vikings defense. And right now, the Vikings are like the most runheavy team in the NFL through the first three weeks. Like, is that not
19:30going to change like here? Like, he's going to he's going to have 20 plus carries in this game. They're most likely going to be pretty efficient. the
19:36Dolphins defense. They have a couple like interesting players, but it's it's largely like, you know, an ACC defense at this point. Um, he he was the RB15 on
19:45RB22 usage over the last two weeks. Over that time period, the Vikings are dead last in success rate at 28%. They scored
19:5216 points per game in those contests. He was still a top 15 running back. Like, what happens when they're actually a
19:57good offense, not the worst offense in the NFL?
20:00>> Yep. I love all those points. Uh just looking for the future when Jordan Mason comes back from his thumb or hand
20:06surgery, whatever it is. I wonder if they're like, "Hey, Aaron, you can rest a little bit now." You know, you you've
20:12been carrying the workload for the last four weeks. Uh I understand you've got 80% work. We're just going to give you
20:16like 40% here for the next few games and like give you a little bit of a break.
20:20>> I would say we can sell high on Aaron Jones after this next week and then I think buying low on Jordan Mason right
20:27now is is pretty pretty ripe. I I mean Aaron just his hamstring is just waiting to tear right now, but until that
20:32happens, we're riding it.
20:33>> Jaylen Warren is your running back 11, one of your favorite picks the entire summer. Hit careerhigh marks in a number
20:42of areas and snaps at 90% in week three, 176 total yards. Again, a careerhigh.
20:49The Browns and Steelers, though, are two teams right now without a rushing touchdown so far this season. Uh the turf monster prevented
20:57uh Jaylen Warren from hitting that mark last week.
21:00>> Yeah, I'm still upset over that turf monster, but since week two without Rico D on the field, he's played 93% of the
21:06snaps. So, they don't have anyone else that they can trust. This is supposed to be a close game in division short rest.
21:11They're not going to be, you know, mixing in uh another running back on short rest here. It's just all Jaylen Warren. I think he looks excellent. I
21:19He's always been good in protection. He can always catch passes. I think he's by far the most explosive player. Um the
21:24Browns defense has been pretty good um in general uh at stopping opposing running backs, but at the same time like he's not coming off the field. He was a
21:34top 10 running back last week. Like I don't know how this goes wrong.
21:38>> I I'd also add that the Steelers offensive line look very good last week.
21:43Brock Hoffman at right guard, Maxer at right tackle. We already talked about the McCormick stuff at left guard. Uh doing a forklift on on the nose tackle.
21:52So, it's creative bunch right now. And I'll add that three running backs have gotten at least 15 touches for the Browns this season. I think two of them
21:59were like 19 and 22. So, the Jaylen Warren volume might be again close to a careerhigh.
22:06>> Yeah, looking at the projections right now, he's projected for 101 and a half total yards according to live betting market. So, fire him up.
22:14>> This is Thursday night football. We'll talk about Quincan Judkins here in a moment. Uh again, it might be a sleepy
22:19one with this Steelers and the Browns, but anything you want to say about the wide receivers or quarterbacks or even tight ends involved? Uh DK Metaf, Enzo
22:29Boston, Casey Conpion, any of that stuff?
22:31>> Yeah, DK Mechaf I have him as my wide receiver 33. Like I'm holding on to some of that volume. I haven't loved what I
22:38see and he's been sacrificed to like some really good uh corners and I'm expecting that to happen here with, you know, Denzel Ward. We just watched what
22:45Denzel Ward did against Tedoro McMillan.
22:47I think McMillan and DK Metaf are like, you know, in the same ballpark. Uh, and I'm expecting largely the same. Now, I
22:54don't think that they're going to get that much from Michael Pitman. Roman Wilson and Jeremy Bernard have both dropped passes for interceptions this
23:00season. So, I think there's like a limit to how much they're going to get those guys involved. It's just not an easy
23:05matchup for DK Mechaf against Denzel Ward. So, he's my highest ranked wide receiver. Then you have Denzel Boston, Casey Conpsion. Uh they're dealing with
23:12some um some injuries in the secondary uh for for the Steelers with I think Jaylen Ramsey now is has a wrist issue.
23:20Joey Porter probably >> broken wrist he said.
23:22>> Okay. Yeah. So he's not going to play.
23:23Joey Porter is probably not going to play either.
23:25>> Actually uh um Jaylen Ramsey said he's going to try to play through it.
23:29>> Okay. Well, uh good luck trying to tackle Casey Conception then. Now these guys have got to catch the ball. That's
23:35why they're ranked so well.
23:36>> Yeah.
23:36>> Yes. Now Casey Conception and I talked about the stats versus film. I actually think the tape is pretty awesome. Yes.
23:42Uh, you know, the easy button stuff should be there. It's just inaccurate passes. Literally, the worst throws that Deshun Watson has had all season long
23:49have been in the direction of Casey Conception. I don't think it's the rookiey's fault. So, um, we'll see that it's just the inconsistency that, uh,
23:57you have to worry about. Okay, let's move on. Ky Williams is your running back 12. This is at the Philadelphia Eagles. Both Kairen and Blake Cororm are
24:06top four in yards before contact per attempt. Uh that kind of speaks to this Rams offensive line so far this season.
24:13>> Yeah. Also just they don't make any incorrect decisions um as well. Like they're just like so smart and Shawn McY
24:20is just using them uh appropriately. Uh still waiting on the Puka Nua news.
24:25Right now I just like in my mind I'm kind of expecting Puka to miss, Terrence Ferguson to miss, Kobe Parkinson to
24:30miss. They're going to be reliant on Devonte, Kairen, Cororm, and then I think Tyler Higgby here. Uh, whenever they lose, like you always say, Kairen
24:38Williams gets targeted. He they've lost or played in overtime in a handful of games. He's averaging four 4.4 targets in them. Uh, they would motion him out
24:48to the slot uh last week uh in a close game as well. Now, the Eagles defense, it's a good one. It's not quite as good
24:55as I remembered it being. And Jaylen Carter, I was listening to the Eagles reporters. They're he's just playing through injuries right now and he's not
25:01going to be himself for a little bit.
25:03They got Jonathan Grard at edge rusher back last week. Um but they're just making too many mistakes. The spine of the defense isn't quite as good right
25:10now. So I think it's a difficult matchup. It's not the worst matchup.
25:13Rams are projected for the 16th most points. So that's why I have him ranked a little bit lower than where he's been
25:17finishing. Yeah, the Eagles have had to get younger at linebacker and safety because they couldn't give contracts to those guys in order to pay some of their
25:26other defensive linemen and certainly the offensive players. And so, you know, I don't know if they would have paid Nico Dean, but Jod Campbell stepping in
25:34there has not been great. And then we know about the young safeties on top of Makuba was just heavily targeted. Uh,
25:39this might surprise people or it might not. Like the Rams are three-point favorites on the road against the Eagles in this game. So,
25:46>> just keep that in mind here. Yeah, just a slower pace game like it's not projected for that many points. That's
25:51the problem.
25:52>> Ashton Genty is running back eight in consensus rankings and running back 13 for you. Uh he has the third worst
26:01success rate of any running back in the NFL with 30 carries. Only Dave Montgomery and Quinn Chan Judkins are worse. And then despite having the sixth
26:10most carries in the league, he ranks 18th in carries to go for 10 plus yards at the Smith. So he's the RB5 against
26:16the Dolphins and then he's been the RB25 and RB20 against the Chargers and the Saints. I think it's just gonna probably
26:23be right in the middle of that for a large part of the season. I think that the Mike Washington stuff like I don't
26:29want to get like completely um carried away here. I do think it's like real enough that there's gonna be like change
26:34of pace moments for Mike Washington and like that could expand just a little bit uh as like you know Mike Washington
26:41keeps making plays and Gent's kind of he's not plotting but my favorite would be he's like you know the closer to like
26:46the Naji Harris Josh Jacobs tier of running backs and like the truly special ones. Uh and then that brings us to the
26:53matchup like it's Steve Spagnolo and they added a bunch of young defensive linemen. I think that they're playing pretty on fire. uh that defensive line
27:00over there. The the Raiders are projected for the 22nd most points as well. So, a lot of the running backs that we just mentioned are projected for
27:07a lot more or they like literally do not come off the field. So, he he's an A tier player. He can be moved up a couple
27:14spots, but I don't think that he's an S tier one.
27:16>> Yeah, I wonder if in the receiving game is where he's going to get maybe the majority of his opportunity and
27:22production this week. Just just something to to keep in mind with that.
27:26Okay, DeAndre Swift is your running back 14. We're still going to A tier. I mean, I think Swift still belongs in A tier
27:32here. I mean, he already has the second most carries inside of the 10 yard line, which is 10 among all running backs so
27:39far and has two touchdowns on them. Um, you know, they still threw the ball and leaned into that. And while the Jets
27:47have some pieces, I think it'd be easier for him to run the ball against the Jets than the Eagles.
27:52>> Yeah. And the week before that it was against the Vikings. So this just a far easier matchup for DeAndre Swift. You
27:57believe in the floor now with Case Keenum versus like the mystery box going into last week as well. Bears project for 23 and a half points. The thing I'm
28:05like watching for is was the Kyle Manung guy split last week. Was that because of injury? Was that because of a revenge
28:12game? Was that just a random kind of sample? Because DeAnd played more. He played the first snap on seven of nine
28:18uh drives. It's typically every other one. And like he did play a lot of the first uh quarter of that game. Got both
28:24of the goal line attempts. So he's been like in this split like last week's split was like more favorable for Swift.
28:30Was that noise or is that going to be a trend here?
28:32>> Chase Brown is next for you. Is this still A tier or we dropping to B tier?
28:36This is against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
28:37>> Let's go. This would be the last one in A tier for for Chase Brown. He's he's a positive aggression candidate, but I
28:43don't love the matchup. Yeah, I mean there have been some differences like in his production this year versus where it was last year. Like right now I think he
28:51has a target share of about 10.7% uh according to Fantasy Points data. Um that's 15th among running backs. That
29:01was around 16% last year when in the season stretch. Um, if you extrapolate that for the entire season, that would equal about 35 fewer targets on the
29:12year, which is extremely notable. Yeah.
29:14And to me, it's notable, especially in this game because it's going to be difficult most likely to run against the Jacksonville Jaguars and they're again
29:21big, long, athletic defensive linemen.
29:24And so, I would like to think that his receiving work can improve here. I will say his past pro has been really, really
29:29good just open season.
29:31In the preseason, I was writing that they don't throw him any screens anymore. And when T. Higgins and Jamar Chase are out there, he doesn't catch as
29:40many passes. Doesn't catch as many passes with with Burrow compared to like the Flacco games either. So, I was expecting his receptions to come down
29:46just a little bit versus last year. Uh, unfortunately, the Jacksonville defensive line is just awesome. They were third best defense against fancy
29:55running backs last season. They've averaged 58 rushing yards per game to running backs. this season that's the fourth best. Um so he just needs the
30:02volume and he needs that goal line touchdown plus a couple receptions to kind of save his day. Uh the good news
30:07is the Bengals even though it's a good defense in Jacksonville are still projected for 27 points which is the fourth most and it's like a a half point
30:14away from being first overall. So like I'm just riding the environment even if I don't like the matchup.
30:18>> They're still projected for the fourth most points like you just said. That that's a lot versus a really I think
30:23talented defense in the uh in the Jacksonville Jaguars. Okay, that brings us to Cam Scataboo as the first name in the B tier. You would think on paper,
30:34hey, this for against the Arizona Cardinals preseason, that would be one of Cam Scot's best performances. And it's possible. I will say the Giants are
30:43only projected for 21 points. That is bottom third of the NFL. And so far, he's about the running back 21 in points
30:51per game through three weeks. So, what are you expecting for Scatman here in uh week four? Well, the last two games his
30:58reception totals have come back to where they were during his rookie season. And like that's what I was missing from the
31:03week one performance where they they obviously hand him the ball against Dallas uh all game long and that worked well. But Scatabo being out there and
31:11Deon Singleary being healthy scratched I think is a a net win for for Scatabo. I don't think that Naji Harris looks good.
31:17He has gotten a goal line carry but Scabbo got the goal line carry this last game. Um, so yeah, over the last two
31:25weeks he's been the RB8 in expected points and last year he was kind of a top 12 player in expected points. Now
31:31this this offense is worse, but this defense isn't very good in Arizona. Um, it's it's not that dissimilar to the Ashton Genty stuff. Like team total is
31:39almost exactly the same. They're going to catch three passes or so in this game. Uh, neither of them are like game
31:44breakers in terms of big play potential and then uh they're most likely going to get all the goal line work. So, you feel
31:50better about Ashen Genty versus Cam Scato, but they're not that dissimilar.
31:53So, I like Scottaboo as like maybe like a little bit of an underrated RB2 right now.
31:57>> Let's talk Javvante Williams. Uh, is this the Houston Texans? So, you know, he's going to get almost all the work.
32:05>> And in games where they're projected for 26 plus points, he would rank inside or at your running back 12 spot. He's
32:12running back 17 here because the Dallas Cowboys on the road again this Houston defense projected for just under 23 points. and our two and a half point
32:20underdogs.
32:21>> Yeah. And you know, there's a million stats I can list for the Texans defense how how good they've been. Um they've
32:26already faced Jonathan Taylor, James Cook, and Chase Brown. None of them scored a touchdown. They're averaging 87 rushing yards per game to opposing
32:33running back rooms despite facing Jonathan Taylor, James Cook, and Chase Brown already. So, it's like the worst matchup in fantasy. Um Jovonte Williams,
32:42like you're flipping coins. Is he going to catch a touchdown or not? Uh, and in the meantime, averaging 3.3 receptions per game is like pretty strong, too, to
32:50like give him some semblance above four, but definitely tiered down from where he typically is.
32:54>> Let's talk Saquon Barkley. So, we did it a lot in stats versus film. I'll just repeat that where, you know, he had 11
33:01carries for 73 yards in the first half.
33:04He was being given space. Uh, you know, once he's given space, he still has the juice, he still has ability, and it's
33:11quite clear to the eyeballs. Uh unfortunately the defense faltered and the passing game faltered to the point where the four runs in the second half
33:19didn't go anywhere and they kind of just abandoned it after that. Uh my buddy friend Duffy posted that Saquon has posted an average speed of 11.22 miles
33:27per hour and crossing the line of scrimmage this season. That's the second fastest mark of any running back. Yeah.
33:32>> Uh with 25 plus carries. Then in the 20 carries when he isn't touched behind the line of scrimmage, he's gained eight
33:37yards per carry. The third most of that same group of running backs.
33:41Unfortunately, this is the environment that he's in. Not just from a run blocking standpoint, but it kind of seems like a defense that may be a tick
33:48down. Uh, and a passing offense that is having the same issues as it was last year. So, if that's the case, then
33:56despite him still being maybe 90% of what he used to be, we're not going to get the huge upside where I think a
34:02couple seasons ago, Hayden, we would have gotten to like that Monday Night Football game or Sunday Night Football, whatever it was. And like in the second
34:09half, they would have just grinded out like 20 carries and like walked off with a win and we just like don't get that
34:13version of the Philadelphia Eagles.
34:15>> Yeah. On top of that, you're always going to have the tish push issue where he's got to score his touchdowns from
34:19four yards out or otherwise they're going to go to Jaylen Herz. But that that's pretty painful. And then he's averaging one catch per game um so far.
34:27Um yeah, so he's he has to hit the explosives and he he's capable of doing it. I think the offensive line last week
34:35looked a little bit better than it typically had um but not enough to like really treat him well. So like just
34:42looking at this like he's far more likely to have a 40 yard play versus Cam Scaboo and and Javvante Williams, but at
34:49the same time like who's more likely to get the goal line touchdown? That's like kind of weird to say it, but it's kind
34:53of the other ones over suan. So, I think it's the right tier for him.
34:57>> Eagles are only projected for 20 and a quarter points. I don't know the last time I saw the Eagles projected for that
35:03low of the total.
35:04>> Yeah, >> I don't know. It's Yeah, the game flow probably isn't in his favor in this game either. Football gives you plenty to
35:11debate before kickoff and even more to follow once the games begin. Thanks to DraftKings for sponsoring this.

35:54Tutin. Let's get positive, okay? Because it's a magnificent world that we live in that Bachel Tutin is stacking these performances. Um,
36:03I dove into some of his underlying metrics here. Despite having the worst yards before contact per attempt in the NFL, tied with Randre Stevenson at 0.5,
36:13Basel Tutin is second in success rate, he's also third in the NFL in yards after contact per attempt. He's also third in miss tackles forced per
36:21attempt. So, you know, we we talked about the quotes all summer from Liam Cohen that all he cared about was efficiency and creating yards on his
36:28own. That's exactly what Bashel Tutin is doing um despite maybe some hit or miss offensive line play. And so he just
36:34continues to stack these performances.
36:36>> Yeah, he's breaking all these tackles.
36:38He's such an awesome athlete out there and it's translating. He's limiting uh his mistakes on top of that. Um he's still not getting all of the high value
36:47touches like he's the RB30 in receptions per game and you know Chris Rodriguez had a goal line carry. He's not going to
36:52get all of them. Um but he's going to get you know a large chunk of them. Uh they just don't have to throw the ball
36:57to the running backs in this offense when they have all these wide receivers and tight ends and whatnot.
37:01He's an very a very explosive kind of like between the 20s type of guy right now. Uh and I trust that in this offense
37:10because they're projected for 24 and a half points once again. It's like just such a stable environment for him even if the offensive line isn't good. Like
37:17this team is just going to be marching down the football field way too often.
37:19So I think it's an awesome RB2. I think it's going to take some time for him to like get out of this tier, but like this
37:26is a a slight win for if you drafted him.
37:28>> Yeah. I mean, he's a running back 13 right now in points per game. So, uh, you know, he only has one touchdown on
37:34the season, and that was last week, and it was gifted to him by his quarterback, but hey, I am still waiting on, you
37:40know, the explosive play. And when we get explosive plays, then that vaults him, you know, into top 12 running back status in that week. So, right, being on
37:49that fringe of running back one, two right now is is, I think, really promising.
37:53>> Um, okay, let's talk David Montgomery.
37:55He is your running back 20 right now.
37:58We've talked so much just this summer draft season in the opening three weeks about despite him scoring three touchdowns in week one, it was three
38:08yards per carry and then 1.8 yards per carry in week two. I don't know what program or radio show that Dan Gracion
38:15spoke on, but everyone aggregated. He said, quote, "My sense is that the Texans will give Woody Marks more work moving forward." So, this is already a
38:2450-50 split in terms of snaps. Uh, this is kind of already happening, is it not?
38:29>> It is. This is a discussion for another day, though. Uh, because I want to be positive on David Montgomery this week
38:34because they get the Dallas Cowboys.
38:36They're projected for 25 and a half points. Nico Collins being backed >> is going to afford David Montgomery more goal line opportunities. Uh, because
38:45Nico Collins is that important to this team. Uh, the Cowboys, they're relying on a lot of rookies right now. I think
38:52all three of their rookies actually looked pretty good between uh uh Lawrence and uh Baram and obviously Caleb DS as well. Uh
39:01>> Baram was nasty last week against >> so much fun. He was awesome at Michigan.
39:05Um but it's a lot of rookies and there's been some communication issues and I think that there's been some questionable coaching decisions for for
39:11Dallas's defense in general. So, like I don't want to completely ignore how bad David Montgomery has been behind this really really terrible offensive line,
39:20but of all of the weeks, this week feels a little bit better to be optimistic for David Montgomery. So, I hear you and
39:25I've agreed with you the entire time on like what I'm watching from this backfield, but this is an awesome week.
39:32And they also get Ed Ingram back, their right guard. And the right guard's been a problem. Not that Ed Ingram's like
39:37some awesome player, but he's better than what they have. So, um, if the injuries break break their way, I think that he can be totally fine as an RB2,
39:44too.
39:44>> Just for you, Hayden. I'm gonna make Dave Montgomery the cover man for the thumbnail.
39:48>> Good. Good. Just for you.
39:50>> Good.
39:51>> Uh, okay. Brillan Allen. Does he belong in Btier? Does he belong in Ctier? This is at the Chicago Bears.
39:58>> I think he's kind of the same player as the guys we just talked about. I think that he's a Btier player. Um, the Jets
40:03are projected for 20 points exactly. So, not that far off from some of the teams we just mentioned as well. He played 84
40:09of 88 snaps without Bree Hall on the field this season. Isaiah Davis has been available for every game. He has not
40:15played an offensive snap yet. That will change now. Uh but I would expect Allen to get what 80% of the value from this
40:22backfield. And through the first three weeks, the Jets running back room is at 20.1 expected half DPR points. If you give him 80% of that, that's 16 expected
40:31fantasy points. Let's say he's bad. We drop that down to 13 fantasy points.
40:35Like that's as low as I can get. and 13 fantasy points is an RB2 all day long.
40:40So, I don't think that Brandon Allen's that good. Um, but if you're gonna be on the field that much, it doesn't matter.
40:45>> Okay, Bill Crosky Merritt is going to be the first name in the Ctier here. This is against the Indianapolis Colts. Um,
40:52unfortunately, Washington running backs have been hit at or behind the line of scrimmage on 53% of their runs this season. That's the third highest rate in
40:59the league. I did go back and watch that Seattle game and I think it showed some flashes for Bill. you know, um I'm not
41:06going to say, hey, this guy's going to end up as the running back 20 or running back 18 for the entire season, but as we
41:15know, after that group of awesome running backs to start, then Chuba Hubard, there really hasn't been a big hit in drafts other than Aaron Jones uh
41:24so far. And maybe Bill can get there, uh in this game that's abroad.
41:30>> I saw the same saying I thought he had a good game. The 48 yard touchdown uh being called back really like kind of
41:35hid how good he was. Um and that was not because of like a holding. That was just like illegal formation on the other side
41:41of the field. So it was a great play for him. Uh Rashad White had a shoulder injury, played through it, then they
41:46signed Austin Eckler. Like I'm waiting for like more information on that. I'm also >> practice yesterday or today, one of the
41:52two.
41:52>> Yeah. And by the end of the week, we'll have this one sorted out. They're playing in London uh here as well. Um,
41:58so we'll see if they like who's flying out for that game and and whatnot. Um, and then the Colts linebacker play has
42:04just been really bad. Like maybe the worst in the NFL. The Latu was like walking off the field. I think it's just
42:09a chest contusion injury which he'll probably play through, but like that would be a big deal if he missed some time. Uh, and then, you know, Derrick
42:16Henry and Kenneth Walker both had 150 total yards. Um, and they're projected for 22 points. So, I think that he could
42:23be like, you know, a nice flex play the rest of the season. I would call him like a buy low flex. His numbers haven't
42:29really been there, but I I I see the vision. Um, and the fact that they have two starting quarterbacks like provides
42:35like a seasonl long floor as well. So, I like Jakori as like the RB25 moving forward.
42:39>> Just to update all that, uh, the injury report came out 19 minutes ago. Rashad White DMP with a shoulder.
42:46Unfortunately, Sam Cosby DMP with a throat and concussion. So, we'll see what that means. Yeah, I don't know if he has like strep throat and a
42:54concussion, but uh throat slashconussion. Who knows? Um and yeah, Jaden Daniels was limited. He has a new brace on and he might be playing this
43:03week. So, we'll see.
43:04>> Can we just wait another week?
43:07Perfectly fine. You know, >> let's leave Jaden in America. It doesn't have to go all the way to London and let's see him the week after.
43:13>> I hear you. Okay, let's talk Bucky Irving. I'm kind of surprised he's all the way down at running back 23 for you.
43:20Now, I get it. It's a backup quarterback. We don't know what to expect here from Jaylen Daniels, but it's against the Green Bay Packers. He's
43:27not on the injury report right now. You know, he's one of, I think, three running backs uh with at least a 10%
43:34target share in every game so far this season. Um I think with a backup quarterback, Hayden, they might lean even more into Bucky Irving this week.
43:41>> Yeah, I'm just worried that it's just not going to be that effective. I They're projected for 18 points. That's that's 29th in the NFL. Um, Bucky also
43:49didn't play after getting lit up in pass protection and you know that makes me a little bit nervous. Uh, you know, it was
43:55a hip injury, the shoulder, like who knows exactly what's going going on, but he was like, I guess benched or injured,
44:01whatever we want to call that. So that that's like another kind of wrinkle here. Um, I also just like wonder if are
44:06they ever just going to get Kenny Gainwell more involved? Like otherwise there's like burning like they're burning that contract like on fire. Like
44:12I just don't understand what was going on there. I think just zooming back out like he's projected for the same same
44:17amount of points as Quinchan Judkins.
44:19You know where's Quinch Judkins been finishing like you know it's not it's not as an RB2 so I'm trying here.
44:26>> Well one of your biggest stands on the week is Alvin Chimera.
44:31>> Yep. Running back 36 in consensus rankings but running back 24 for you.
44:36This is against the Atlanta Falcons. How are you feeling? Uh um I was cry for help.
44:42>> I was listening to uh Evan Silva and he's buddies with Underh Hill and they were texting and Underh Hill just said
44:49Chimera as what the plan is, you know.
44:51So I'm putting a lot of faith into that.
44:53There was 46 snaps without Travis Hian last week injured his hamstring. 22 snaps for Alvin Chimera, 14 for Kendry Miller, 11 for CJ Donaldson. So it was
45:03more Chimera than Kendry Miller. He also had nine of the 14 carries without Travis Achantel. A little bit more Chimera versus Kendry Miller. We didn't
45:12get a goal line opportunity in that game. So, we don't know if that's going to be Kendry or Alvin. I can see that
45:17one kind of going either way. Neither of them are playing any snaps on late. That all goes to CJ Donaldson. The only thing
45:23I feel confident in is this will be a three-back committee. I'm guessing that Alvin Chamra is going to be the number
45:29one of that. Here's the issue. They are projected for 25 points. 25 points. A lot of the running backs we're talking
45:36about are at 18 points, 16 points, 14 points. We'll get to 25 points is the ninth most. The Atlanta Falcons are
45:42missing a lot of their front seven players right now. They have not been tested. They faced only the Panthers, Packers, and Steelers running backs so
45:48far, but it's a fast-paced offense. Um, so like even though I hate the committee, I don't even like Alvin Chimera. I I don't
45:55like that they don't have their left tackle. Like 25 points is a lot.
45:59>> All right. I mean, this is definitely flex consideration. Then on Monday Night Football, people's lineups might be in their matchups will be coming down to
46:06Alvin Chimera in the flex this week.
46:08>> Well, so for numbers, the live betting markets have him at 59 and a half total yards. That's probably a lot more than
46:14the tight ends you'd be considered or typically like the 40s. So I think he's like a half tier above that mix. I think
46:20he's a half tier above a lot of the fantasy wide receivers you'd be considering there. So I would say yeah, he is he's a flex start, but that's as
46:28far as I'll go. Okay, let's talk JK Dobbins. He's running back 25. You're four spots ahead of consensus that have him as running back 29. This is on the
46:37road against the 49ers. Uh he has 35 touches so far this season. Um the underlying metrics are horrible among 42 running backs with 20 more carries this
46:46year according to JJ Zachary. JK Dobbins is 40th in success rate, 33rd in 10 plus yard rate, 39th in yards after contact
46:55per attempt, but uh he has seen the most red zone carries obviously on the team with six of them, and that has equal
47:00three total yards so far.
47:02>> Yep. I'm just hoping it gets better. You know, I can't defend what I've been watching. I can't defend the the numbers
47:07here. I just know that they're projected for over 22 points. And the 49ers defense is going to be without Nick Bosa. They're already down three
47:14defensive tackles. They're down two other edge rushers as well. Jeremiah Love was the RB7 last week. Devon Achan was the RB16. Kairen Williams was the
47:22RB16. Then the playoff loss. Kenneth Walker went for 34 points. I was without some of these key players. So, it's it's
47:29not that difficult of a matchup for JK Dobbins. And without Jonah Nicoleman, I still just feel comfortable that like on, >> you know, the two yard line, JK Dobbins
47:38is going to get the carries. Uh, now we'll talk about R.J. Harvey in a second here. A lot of the the work has been as
47:44a receiver against this 49ers defense.
47:46And like I I would understand starting RJ Harvey in the flex if you had to as well. But Dobins 67 and a half total
47:52yards in the the projections right now and I do think he is the goal line favorite.
47:57>> Quinn Sean Judkins is next for you. This is against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday night. Obviously, >> uh the Steelers have allowed a league
48:05low three red zone possessions all season long according to Retrievar.
48:09>> Um Quinn Sean is averaging three yards per carry, 39th among all running backs.
48:14He also has a 26% success rate. That's 39th among all running backs. And then he's 35th in terms of run or 10 or more
48:21yards. So look, we can talk about slow development after injuries like the one he sustained and then also a totally new
48:30offensive line in front of him. And I actually think that this Steelers defensive line is going play is playing quite well this season, too.
48:36>> Yeah, they've invested more into the defensive line than pretty much anybody.
48:39Um, Quinton Judkins become one of the easiest players to rank to me at this point because, you know, the usage is
48:47not going anywhere and his efficiency isn't going anywhere. So, he's going to finish.
48:50>> He's not great in a win or a close game.
48:53Over the last two weeks, he has barely been and likely isn't fantasy relevant for you.
48:58>> I think he's a flex play and, you know, half PPR. Um, and there will be a couple games where he plays much better than
49:04what he's played like so far, but it's an entirely new offensive line. And I like what Todd Monin is doing. I think
49:10Quint John's better than what he's looked like this this season so far. Um he's the RB 29 and RB22 usage. Like I'm
49:18just going to keep copy pasting that.
49:19>> Okay. You have Trevion Henderson as your first Patriots running back off the board. And it's a pretty sizable difference between he and Randre
49:26Stevenson who's at running back 35. This is at the Buffalo Bills. a little surprising to me based on, you know, Arandre outnapping Hindo last week 32 to
49:3617 with Drake May on the field. Um, but obviously we have seen when this offense is at their best, whatever part of that has
49:46been this season. Uh, it's Trevor Henderson running in for a 36 yard touchdown and that's it.
49:51>> That's kind of where I'm leaning is like they're so desperate that they just going to have to get some explosives
49:55with with Trayvon. early in the game like the before halftime it was more Trayvon touches than Raandre Stevenson.
50:01Then Randre got like >> eight touches for nothing to start the second half and then it was uh Cory Kind or your boy in the fourth quarter. Um so
50:12one I'm not expecting them to not literally use Trayvon Henderson for an entire second half in this game. Like the game should be closer than what it
50:18was last week where they've been pathetic. And then I go back to the Buffalo Bills game in week 15 last year.
50:24It was Raandre and Trayvon.
50:27Trayvon had 29.1 half PBR points. He had 161 total yards. He had two touchdowns.
50:32Those were explosive runs against them.
50:34I think that's probably their best bet of pulling off the upset is hoping Trayvon hits some 30 plus yard carries in this one. I just don't understand
50:43how, you know, with backup guards like they can go into this game and say like Raandre Stevenson up the gut is how
50:48we're beating the Buffalo Bills. Like I just don't believe in that. So I'm just ranking Dave on the head. All right, the
50:53people have been waiting. Uh, this is where you have Omar in Hampton as running back 28.
51:00>> Fair.
51:01>> Uh, yeah, running back 28. Closing drafts is like the 14th or 15th overall player. This is at the Seattle Seahawks.
51:09Let's put that there. I mean, this is an extremely difficult matchup for this Chargers offensive line, especially that guard center guard trio against two of
51:17the best defensive tackles in the league for now a running back that is in a three-way split. Uh, and a running back
51:24whose calling cards are being big and running fast in a straight line and yet he is the second most touches at running
51:31back without a 20 plus yard gain this season.
51:35I say even beyond that, like you got Devin Witherspoon and Nick and Monari and then all the other guys like want to
51:42fly in. Like if you don't have tight ends that can block against Seattle, like that's like another huge deal. If you don't have wide receivers that can
51:48block, like forget about it. And that's just the state of the Chargers. They're rejected for 17 and three/4ers points.
51:54That is 30th. That is that is less than the Buff. That is that's less than Quinton Junkkins and the Browns.
52:00>> That that might have been if you asked me like one factor, one fact I wish I had known in drafts, it's in week four,
52:11>> the Chargers offense is projected for fewer than 18 points. And I would not have drafted a single Charger in any
52:17draft this season.
52:18>> Yeah. Yeah. I'd say beyond that, um, you know, Keen Mitchell getting some like, you know, gimme like weird touches at
52:24the goal line all of a sudden. Kamani Vidal for the first time played in pass protection that was not treated the
52:28first two weeks. Like there's other factors at play. You you can now start him and blindly say Omarian Hampton is too big and he's too fast and there's
52:38always just the hope of that translating to fantasy points. Everything beyond that, you know, is fake news. So I I think like an adjustment like this in
52:46this week is is required. And then maybe I'll call Hampton a buy low after this next week. But it's it's not looking
52:52great, >> man. And I remember like week one or week two stats versus film I compared him to Latavius Murray and
52:59that might have been an insult to Latavius Murray. I mean top like 20 all time and rushing touchdowns Latavius Murray is at the spot. So you know who
53:08knows. Running back 29 is Tony Pard. Is this CT or Dtier for you?
53:12>> Um let's go down a tier I guess.
53:15>> Yeah I mean the Dtier is going to be large this week. Uh this is at the Baltimore Ravens. I believe Taji Spears
53:22aggravated the ankle injury that he had been dealing with last week. Yeah.
53:25>> Um but with five or more defensive backs on the field, if we want to have a proton Tony Pard stat here, and the
53:31Ravens do a lot of that, the Ravens have allowed a runner 10 or more yards, uh 16.4% of the time, that's 26 in the
53:39league, and are 22nd in defending in terms of success rate. So that's all Richie Bar in the worksheet. So again, if we ever want to be optimistic at all,
53:49that's something for Tony Pard.
53:50>> Yeah, they al also faced Jonathan Taylor and you know, the Cowboys and whatnot.
53:55So, um, >> look, Tony Per is the RB28 and RB25 usage. That's pretty much exactly what he was last year when the Titans stunk
54:03at football and that's what they stink at football again this year. It's too early in the week to know the injury
54:08report. I know that Paulard and Ta Spears were both dealing with injuries the last couple weeks. I I was expecting that to be true. So, if Spears is like
54:16actually out, I think I would flip them over a couple of these guys, but um we'll see.
54:19>> Okay, moving on. Jaren Price is also down here as your running back 30. This is against the Los Angeles Chargers. Uh
54:28he has the highest stuff rate in the NFL right now at 25%. However, Emanuel Wilson is just behind that. Um Jeranian
54:37Price is sixth in the NFL in terms of force missed tackles per attempt. But what we talked about with Bashel Tutin
54:43and Jerian Price are kind of going in opposite directions where Toutin's not making any mistakes and he's stacking positives on top of it. And
54:50unfortunately, Jarian Price is kind of making mistakes and so there's no decision to give him more opportunities than stack performances.
54:58>> I mean, I have zero faith, zero confidence in like this ranking at all.
55:02So, he was like straight up bench like the last couple weeks. Um, and like Emanuel Wilson's getting goal line carries. Is that going to always be
55:10true?
55:11>> I would I would not say that Jarian Price was benched in week week two. He got injured and missed the entire fourth
55:18quarter. Okay.
55:18>> That's at least that's >> injured injured and benched better than bench twice, I guess. Uh but multiple fumbles, multiple fumbles in games. Um
55:26and they they just don't trust him in pass protection. So like you're hoping for an explosive play on the ground. Um
55:31you know, like the Chargers like that has happened against the Chargers defense before. Um, but >> it would be very fitting if like this
55:37was the week that worked, you know, when everyone's just like, you know, it's it's not worth playing. Like the explosive guy hits a explosive play, but
55:43at the same time, that's impossible to predict.
55:45>> Well, my ranking is like putting stock into that because I have him as RB30.
55:49He's the RB 56 and RB 40 usage so far.
55:52So, like, yep, >> this is me saying, Jay Price, I know you're good at football. Like, please show me it once. Um, but like, you know,
55:59he can he can finish with two points or 20 points.
56:02>> RJ Harvey is up next. We've already talked about the rest of the backfields.
56:06Uh so I'll just throw out other than the Green Bay Packers. Uh I'll just throw up his name. Uh and Woody Marks is up next.
56:13Um and Rashad White and Kungai and Andre Stevenson and Blake Cororm.
56:20Anything you want to say about all of these quote unquote running back twos?
56:23>> Um I have a bunch of notes if you guys want to go read them on Yahoo Sports. Uh talking about their usage and whatnot.
56:30Like these are secondary players. cuz I have Harvey the highest because the team total is like fairly solid and uh I
56:36think that they can use him specifically against the 49ers defense right now. I can see that being a focal point for
56:42them. Uh but the rest of these guys are like in the same rotation that they've been in previously. So nothing really to
56:48add. I think like this is like that's the that's the tight end tier, you know, when you're talking about like I think C
56:55tier I'm playing the running backs. I think the D tier I'm playing the tight ends, you know, that's kind of like the
56:59split and bone. I will say if you're optimistic about Dave Montgomery, I I might have some optimism with Woody Marks too, just because they're kind of
57:05splitting work.
57:07>> Yes. Uh Woody Marks is the RB38 and RB36 usage. I think it's a better matchup than the one he's had there. I move him
57:13a couple spots ahead from that. But yeah, I I can see him flipping our Harvey or something like that.
57:17>> Okay, the first Packers running back is uh running back 37 and it's Caleb Johnson. I'm not asking you to say
57:23anything about this. It's just that he has overtaken Marshon Lloyd. Um that's it. And then I did just want to get to
57:31Ali Gordon. Unfortunately, he is all the way down at running back 40 on your list because the Miami Dolphins are projected
57:40for 14 points this week. Anything else you want to add?
57:43>> And we also don't know if Den Wright's going to play or not. Um, you know, I mean, I don't know what they're going to
57:49do against Brian Flores. What Brian Flores defense has been beating the experienced play callers. What has he always done? melted brains of
57:56inexperienced play callers and quarterbacks and offenses is the youngest offense in the NFL. So, like I I just don't like if I had to pick, are
58:03they going to score over 14 points or fewer than it? I would say fewer. Uh yeah, I mean he has a 10% success rate
58:10on 20 carries this season. That's the worst among any running back with 20 plus carries in the NFL so far this
58:15year.
58:16>> Okay, that does it. Hey, now we'll be back on Friday with the wide receiver rankings on top of it. Thank you all for
58:23tuning in. Thank you all for watching.
