Carnell Tate

NegativeProjection28:17

Ranked against the Colts in Week 6. Caught 1 of 5 targets last week despite being open. Cam Ward is completing only 40% of throws 10+ yards downfield (29th in league) and the ball rarely leaves his hand on time, creating extended plays that disrupt Tate's route tree. Michael Penn questions whether OC Brian Daboll will deploy Tate in 3x1 or 2x2 slot looks to maximize efficiency, as Tate is not a pure X receiver running straight lines.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

NegativeRole16:17

CeeDee Lamb is top 10 in wide receiver fantasy usage this season, just as he was last season. He and George Pickens have been on the field together more this year, indicating continued offensive involvement.

Insight page

Chris Olave

PositiveMatchup6:06

Favorable individual matchup vs Giants if Abdul Carter is ruled out and with Brian Burns already sidelined. Giants secondary (Colton Hood, Greg Newsome) has not practiced well. Saints QB Tyler Shuck is under pressure from a backup left tackle but throws frequently to Olave when given time. While a Shuck hand injury may downgrade Saints receivers Alvin Kamara and Jawan Johnson more significantly, Olave's elite talent should limit his decline. Giants face the fifth-fewest plays in the league, preferring long sustained drives, which is not ideal for Saints pass catchers.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveValue4:03

Michael Penn rates Christian Watson as the cost-adjusted MVP of the 2024 draft class, noting he was sandwiched between much less productive players (Harold Fannon, Justin Herbert, Caleb Williams, Trayvon Henderson, Joe Mixon, Roma Dunza) in his draft round. Watson has evolved from a high-variance deep threat into a complete receiver running out routes; he operates as a WR3 on WR12 usage with almost eight targets per game in a funneled, aerial Cowboys offense. The Dallas secondary has coverage bust issues and cannot win one-on-one battles, creating an elite game environment; historical precedent shows Nico Collins finished as WR3 and Steph Diggs as WR8 in similar matchups. Penn notes the market has not yet adjusted to Watson's actual quality as a wide receiver.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveUsage38:18

Leads all RBs, WRs, and TEs in snap count; has played the most snaps in the NFL among all skill position players this season. In 13 personnel looks (Bears' fifth-most personnel grouping), he posted 55% market share and 4.8 yards per route run, establishing elite role and opportunity context despite competing touches from Sam Roush.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

PositiveProjection26:52

WR19 ranking for Week 6 vs Baltimore, potentially his highest ranking of the season. Boston holds 48% of Browns air yards (WR2 league-wide behind only Jaylen Hyatt), 35% of targets on 20+ yard routes, and fourth-most endzone targets in the NFL. Lacks games with 7+ targets, so touchdown dependency is high. Matchup favorable: Drake London, Carnell Tate, CeeDee Lamb, and Chris Olave—all vertical threats—have been top-16 finishers vs Baltimore. Conditional must-play if Casey Conklin is out.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

NegativeInjury22:23

Eagles WR17 in consensus rankings but unranked in most public rankings due to assumed absence. However, Mike Gello reported optimism for DeVonta Smith's return in Week 6 despite limited practice participation; Eagles are anticipating his return. Jaylen Hertz's blood clot injury and replacement by Tanner McKee represents a slight downgrade in red-zone scoring potential, but Michael Penn is not making major ranking changes for Smith given McKee's ability to deliver the ball over the middle.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

PositiveProjection24:58

WR18 ranking for Week 6 vs Tampa Bay. Metcalf benefits from Steelers' fourth-ranked pass rate over expectation and Aaron Rodgers' quick release (2.65 seconds to snap, second-fastest in league). When Rodgers is blitzed, Metcalf has approximately 30% target share. Despite inconsistent catch-point production this season, the combination of man coverage opportunities, 6'4 frame, and funneled targets from Michael Pittman and Roman Wilson injuries creates potential for a boom week.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveProjection1:22

A-tier WR vs Bears: 24 and 16 targets in three games with Michael Penn; historically top-five fantasy WR in previous seasons with Penn; cleared 95+ yards all three games this season; 31% target share (one of league's best); 25-point team projection at home; game total over 50. Bears lack pass-rush depth without Montes Sweat. Penn avoids throwing to slot receivers over the middle, favoring London's outside role. Falcons run heavy personnel sets 36% of the time; opponents completing 78% of passes for 15 yards per attempt and 53% first-down/TD rate out of two-plus tight end sets vs Bears.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

NegativeMatchup16:43

Garrett Wilson is coming off an awesome game but faces the New England Patriots, who are getting Christian Gonzalez back—a significant defensive addition. Gonzalez is one of the best corners in the league and will shadow Wilson on approximately 75% of his reps. Additionally, Wilson is playing in the slot less than previously, reducing his volume in a favorable area. Team total is only 18 points, suggesting limited offensive output.

Insight page

George Pickens

NegativeRole16:17

George Pickens is ranked WR13 and kept in the A tier. Both Pickens and CeeDee Lamb are top 10 in wide receiver fantasy usage this season and have been on the field together more this year. However, Pickens isn't running as hot on touchdowns as last year, and some of his downfield plays are defensive pass interference rather than big-time catches, suggesting touchdown regression.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

NegativeProjection29:08

Ranked WR22 in Michael Penn's rankings despite being top-12 on the season; downgrade reflects difficult Eagles corner matchup (Quinton Dunbar and Riq Woolen) and Panthers team total of 21 points split three ways between Chuba, T-Mac, and Jaylen Coker. Historical context: WR22 usage from week 10 last year through week 3 with Coker in lineup; now facing tougher matchup despite improved Bryce Young and offensive scheme.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

NegativeMatchup33:44

Mobility will be constrained vs 49ers due to Fred Warner tracking him over the middle; forced into more notable dropbacks rather than scrambling or taking sacks. Commanders QB will face different matchup against 49ers compared to previous game; Fred Warner tracking him over the middle will limit scrambling ability and force more notable dropbacks and actual throws rather than sacks or scrambles, which benefits Commanders receivers like Terry McLaren.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveMatchup35:00

Michael Penn promised this is a Josh Downs week. Titans defense allows second-most fantasy points per game on throws under 10 air yards and fourth-most on 5–20 air yard throws, which is where Downs operates. Downs hit 77 yards in September. Colts team total 25.75 points (seventh highest), playing indoors.

Insight page

Luther Burden

PositiveValue36:30

WR24 in rankings. 79% route participation last week. Falcons rank 25th in pass defense, allow eighth-most fantasy points to WRs, and lack AJ Terrell. Team total 26.5 points (high). Michael Penn says context of draft capital, team total, and route participation is enough to roll the dice despite unspectacular box scores.

Insight page

Matthew Golden

PositiveBreakout14:03

Matthew Golden is ranked WR11 in Michael Penn's rankings versus WR15 in consensus, suggesting undervaluation. Golden is top 10 in yards per route run and has been getting both underneath and deep targets since week 1, with the Packers fully trusting him post-Jaden Reed injury. Tucker Craft is emerging but Golden's ability to win with speed on the outside—especially against Don Blandino's exposed coverage—makes him a crisp matchup, particularly if Joey Porter shadows Christian Watson.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

PositiveUsage20:40

Cardinals WR7 in expected fantasy points over five games; primary beneficiary of garbage-time passing volume alongside Trey McBride. Ranked WR16 against LA Rams. When Kyler Murray throws for 90 yards and a touchdown, targets most likely go to Wilson or McBride. Despite Rams defense allowing only 165 pass yards per game (32nd in league), Wilson's high usage rate and near-monster game last week suggest he will see consistent opportunity when Arizona drops back frequently. Cardinals are 12.5-point underdogs and last in NFL with 5.6 yards per pass attempt.

Insight page

Mike Evans

PositiveProjection9:06

Only healthy 49ers wide receiver remaining (comparable to 2025 CMC role), facing Washington's cover-zero blitz scheme that leaves corners on islands. Brock Purdy will target Evans in one-on-one situations where Evans' size advantage over Washington's corners is decisive. Without Debo Samuel, Evans should be ranked as a WR1, not WR2; Michael Penn argues he is undervalued in current rankings and should be tiered with Christian Watson. 49ers are projected for 29.5 points; historical precedent shows JSN finished as WR1, Malik Neighbors as WR4, and CeeDee Lamb as WR3 against Washington.

Insight page

Nico Collins

PositiveMatchup7:57

Dominated Jacksonville over last six games, going over 100 yards in five of six including last four. Jacksonville allows the highest neutral pass rate in the league. With Nico Collins healthy last week, the Texans posted their highest neutral pass rate of the season at 63%, significantly higher than their typical rate. Michael Penn projects Collins to get a 10th target in this matchup and notes he can beat any corner in the league; the Texans should double down on pass-first approach as slight road underdogs. Penn emphasizes Collins' elite dominance and ability to beat any coverage at this point in the season.

Insight page

Omar Cooper Jr.

PositiveSleeper17:39

Returning from injury with Adonai Mitchell dealing with a finger injury, creating opportunity. Michael Penn recommends pickup in 12-team leagues. Preferred over Mai Lemon for the next four weeks due to proven production versus Lemon's lack of track record.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveMatchup18:42

Parker Washington faces the Houston Texans in a difficult matchup despite strong individual production. Trevor Lawrence has only one top-12 scoring week in 10 career matchups against Houston. Washington is a rare player who wins both tight-window targets and after-catch situations (78 yards after catch last week), but the Texans' defense with Dikica Ryan and linebacker Jaylen Petri back creates a challenging environment. Projected as WR2 rather than WR1 in this spot; Jacksonville is projected for 13th most points this week.

Insight page

Pat Freiermuth

PositiveProjection26:00

TE12 ranking for Week 6 vs Tampa Bay. Freiermuth is positioned inside top 12 at tight end against a Buccaneers secondary that is weakest at linebacker and safety—Freiermuth's primary coverage areas. The Steelers' high pass rate over expectation and Aaron Rodgers' quick release create volume opportunity. Michael Penn's benchmark for success: matching Jaylen Hyatt's output from the previous night.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

PositiveProjection0:07

S-tier WR1 with elite volume and efficiency: 55, 51, and 54 pass attempts over last three games (matching Drew Bledsoe's 1995 feat of 50+ attempts in three straight games); 37 expected halftime barrel points (most ever in Michael Penn's model history); 44% target share; 32-point team total vs Cardinals; three-game 100+ receiving yard streak vs Arizona. Quick-hitting short passes enable PPR upside despite fewer explosive plays.

Insight page

Romeo Doubs

PositiveProjection40:58

Ranked WR26 against the Jets. Despite zero box-score production last week, Michael Penn identifies boom-bust upside tied to vertical-plane opportunities (jump balls, red zone targets) and the Patriots' 25.5-point team total. Penn labels him a 'boom bust wide receiver three' capable of scoring long touchdowns and multiple red zone TDs in a single game.

Insight page

Tanner McKee

NegativeRole23:50

Eagles backup QB replacing Jaylen Hertz. Has shown competence in previous appearances and has a better chance of delivering the ball over the middle compared to Hertz's mobility-based approach. However, represents a slight downgrade in red-zone scoring potential since he won't execute the tush push or buy time for deep shots. Michael Penn notes this is a modest downgrade but not dramatic enough to warrant major ranking changes for Eagles receivers.

Insight page

Ted Ginn Jr.

NegativeProjection29:08

WR20 ranking for Week 6 vs Eagles, despite being WR10 on the season. Downgrade driven by Eagles corner matchups (Quinton Dunbar and Riq Woolen) relative to previous opponents (Bears, Falcons, Browns, Lions). Consensus has him at WR16, suggesting Michael Penn. And is more cautious on the matchup.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

PositiveMatchup33:13

Ranked WR21 against San Francisco in Week 6. Michael Penn bullish on McLaurin's matchup: 49ers rank 25th vs fantasy WRs; Jaden Daniels will be forced into more notable dropbacks against Fred Warner tracking him over the middle, which limits Daniels' scrambling ability and benefits Commanders receivers. McLaurin missed Week 4 and played 58% snaps in Week 5; if he becomes a full snap player, Penn says he's easily the Commanders' best WR.

Insight page

Trey McBride

PositiveUsage20:51

Cardinals TE is co-primary target in garbage-time scenarios alongside Michael Wilson. When Kyler Murray throws for 90 yards and a touchdown, the ball most likely goes to McBride or Wilson. Despite Rams defense allowing only 165 pass yards per game (32nd in league), McBride will see consistent opportunity given Arizona's high pass volume and tendency to drop back frequently.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

PositiveUsage10:22

Zay Flowers receives 25% target share under Ravens OC Declan Doyle and is positioned in the slot where the Ravens funnel their passing game. Denzel Ward, Cleveland's primary corner, does not travel to the slot and plays the right side, creating a favorable matchup. The Ravens used quick-hitting routes to Flowers last week with backup QB Tyler Huntley; Doyle will likely exploit this same strategy. Flowers' production depends on yards after catch and volume. If Lamar Jackson plays, Flowers maintains tier ranking; if Huntley starts, drop him a full tier due to reduced passing volume (team total only 22 points vs. 29.5 for 49ers). Per Michael Penn, the Ravens are very good at getting their best wide receiver the football.

0:00These are your week six wide receiver rankings. As always, brought to you by Farmers Insurance. Shout out Farmers.
0:05That beautiful logo on our screen.
0:07Hayden, no surprise. Hookua is your wide receiver one leading off the S tier. I mean, 55, 51, and 54 passes over the
0:18last three games. The last player to do that, Drew Bledsoe back in 1995 in terms of attempting 50 or more passes in three
0:25straight games. That's straight from the worksheet. And then Puka, he had 37 expected halftime barrel points. That's the most since uh I've been running the
0:33model there um for any wide receiver. So just insane stuff that he's going on.
0:3744% target share. A lot of like quick hitting stuff. You look at the Rams offense, not that not as many explosives
0:43as it was before, which kind of gets us like I'm not going to call him a PPR scam, but like if you're getting a lot
0:48more short passes that are working, like that's how you can rack up even more fantasy points. He's a wide receiver two
0:53wide receiver one overall usage. uh you know 32 point team total for the Rams against the Cardinals who haven't really stopped anyone. He also has a three-game
1:02uh streak of 100 plus receiving yards against the Arizona Cardinals, >> right? Huge favorites. So I doubt Matthew Stafford makes it four straight
1:10games of 50 plus passes, but at the same time, like you said, they projected for 32 points. So you would like to think
1:15when the Rams are projected for 32 points that Puknakua finds the end zone on top of it. Next up for you is Drake
1:22London. Are we gonna keep S tier just to one name or should we just, you know, have some fun and keep this going
1:26because I think you could I think you could make a conversation that is just Puka.
1:29>> It is absolutely just Puka.
1:31>> Okay. All right. Let's have some fun then. Uh, as you can see, we tear this thing out. So, if we're being honest to
1:38ourselves, Drake London is in a tier below, but number one, the A tier. This is against the Chicago Bears. I mean, if
1:45the Bears can create pressure, then this could be a bit a bit of a different day, but especially without Montes Sweat,
1:52like this should be a massive, massive contest for Drake London.
1:57>> Totally agree. The Bears depth on the defensive lines, not very good. Uh Drake London has been the wide receiver, too.
2:0224 and 16 in three games with Michael Penn. And if we include the uh previous seasons with Michael Penn, he's been a
2:08top five fantasy wide receiver. So, that's like my baseline for him. He's cleared 95 yards all three games this year. 31% target share with PennX is out
2:16there which is one of the best in the league. I just watched Christian Watson, Matthew Golden go crazy against the Bears. Now we have no Montes sweat.
2:22They're projected for 25 points at home.
2:24It's going to be a huge uh game total here over 50 51 and a half for this game. This is one of the games that you
2:32want fantasy players in. Kyler Gordon might be making his debut. that would be helpful for kind of the slot stuff, but
2:37Drakelin is not playing as much in the slot as he had previously. And guess what? It hasn't mattered because Michael Penn doesn't want to throw the ball to
2:44the slot wide receivers over the middle anyway. So, it's it's a great uh situation for Drake London in general.
2:50>> Another great stat from Reeves here.
2:52opponents throwing out of two plus tight end sets, so heavier personnel against the Bears have completed 78% of their passes for 15 yards per pass attempt and
3:02a first down or a touchdown on 53% of those passes. And the Falcons pass out of heavy personnel sets if we can call
3:09Kits that uh 36% of the time.
3:12>> Yeah. So, >> love it.
3:13>> Yeah, >> this could be a nice one. CD Lamb is up next for you off of this quad injury, but all indications are that he's going
3:22to play at the Green Bay Packers. Uh Green Bay is sixth in two high coverages at around 62% of the time. And CD Lamb
3:29has been dominating that with 3.13 yards per run in those situations.
3:34>> Cidi has been a full part in each of the practices, so I'm not docking him whatsoever. He's the wide receiver four
3:39and wide receiver five usage this season, averaging over 101 yards per game, second most receptions per game, 28% target share, which is basically the
3:47exact same as his split as he had last season with George Pickkins when he was not catching as many touchdowns and
3:54people were kind of panicking. And now this year, a lot of the touchdowns uh are kind of going his way now. So I
3:59watched Drake London hang 194 yards on uh Green Bay uh just a couple weeks ago.
4:06Garrett Wilson was the wide receiver, 15 as well. Um, so yeah, huge team total.
4:10This game is going to be an absolute shootout. I don't think that the Packers offense. They're going to be putting up
4:15as many points as they can on the Cowboys defense or and then I think that, you know, with Tyler Smith back,
4:20the Cowboys have one of the best offenses. So, uh, very fun game here.
4:23>> On the opposite side is Christian Watson. Hayden, could you make a pretty easy case that Christian Watson was the best fantasy football pick this season?
4:30Yeah, in my write up, uh, I have him as like the MVP, like cost adjusted MVP.
4:35Obviously, like Jir Gibbs is more valuable straight up, but uh, in that round, I mean, he was sandwiched between, you know, Harold Fannon, just
4:42Justin Justin Herbert, Caleb Williams, Trayvon Henderson, J Mo, Roma Dunza, you know, like one guy is going crazy and then everyone else is doing pretty much
4:51nothing there. So, he's he's an amazing wide receiver. I don't think we've, you know, adjusted to how good he is. like
4:59>> he has a case I think we have.
5:01>> Yes, but like >> nationally like is he not like a top 10 wide receiver in the league? Like >> I agree. This guy is crazy.
5:07>> He transformed his game last season.
5:09This is what we talked about all summer long that he evolved uh in that he's not just this high variance, highwire act
5:16down the field that he's actually getting, you know, out routes. That's the stat I kept bringing up all summer long. Um and so you see it. He attacks
5:24every blade of grass and he's the movement piece on here, too. So, you get some pre-releases on top of it. It's
5:29very cool to see.
5:30>> Yeah, I think it's like a slight step down from like Nico Collins like size, speed, profile, and doing a lot more
5:35underneath than he did earlier in his career. Um, just an electric player.
5:39He's a wide receiver three on wide receiver 12 usage. Uh, almost eight targets per game. This is like a really funneled offense, aerial offense, uh, as
5:47well. And then the Dallas Cowboys secondary. They've had coverage bust.
5:50They can't win any of their one-on-one battles as well. So, this is going to be an awesome game environment. We've seen,
5:54you know, Vico Collins finish the wide receiver three, Steph digs, wide receiver eight, on and on and on.
5:59>> So, we unloaded all our notes. So, when we get to Pickkins and Matthew Golden, uh, we'll go quickly on this.
6:06>> Chris Ave is next. I could see this game environment being pretty good, or I could see it being kind of a slo with
6:13like really long drives by the Giants.
6:16But if I want to take this from an optimistic lens, there's likely no Abdul Carter, unless I'm reading the injury report wrong. Uh the Giants already
6:25don't have Brian Burns. And so like the big issue for the Saints, like last week, uh is their new left tackle coming
6:32in who's a backup has not fared well.
6:35And Tyler Shuck is getting hit after hit after hit. But >> if he's not, then he should have time.
6:43and when he has time, he throws the football quite often over to Chris Love.
6:46>> In the secondary, Colton Hood and Greg Newsome have not practiced as well. So, you know, I'm not worried about any of
6:52the Giants uh defensive backs. Uh so, this is a good individual matchup for him. If Abdul Carter is ruled out, that
6:57would certainly be helpful for Chris.
7:00So, um I I do think it is fair to like kind of a little bit recalibrate what happened the first three, four weeks and
7:06then you have the Calvin Benjamin Tyler Shuck hand split and I think like that probably is going to impact things a
7:12little bit. But at the same time, AB is so good. I think that that downgrade I think is going to hit Vele and Jawan
7:18Johnson probably a little harder than Chris Olive who's just continues to be one of the best in the league.
7:24>> Yeah, you know we're talking wide receivers when you have a Freudian slip and bring in Kelvin Benjamin instead of Kevin Banks. Gosh,
7:30>> they they might get Kelvin Benjamin as a better left tackle than what they currently have.
7:35>> That's true. Uh the Giants have faced just like the fifth fewest plays in the league. So again, they like to have
7:41these long sustained drives on offense and we don't want that when we invest in the Saints. We just want high-flying action.
7:48>> Nico Collins is next. Let's talk about it. The Texans are not projected for many points. However, Nico Collins has done fantastic against the Jacksonville
7:57Jaguars over his last six games. He's gone over a 100red yards in five of those six, I think, including the last
8:03four.
8:05>> Yeah. And I think just teams in general aren't even trying to run the ball against Jacksonville. It's the highest neutral pass rate allowed. And the
8:12Texans should take note of that specifically because they really can't run the ball. And then last week uh with Nico Collins healthy, the Texans had
8:19their highest neutral pass rate of the season at 63% which is way higher than they typically been. So like we're starting to kind of see this more pass
8:25first uh environment in Houston. I think they should double down in that one as like slight uh um I guess road uh dogs.
8:34Both teams are on the road here though.
8:36Uh I think just a good environment for Nico Collins to get, you know, get a 10th target in this one. Um so he's way
8:42too dominant. I think Jacksonville's got great corners, but I I just know that Nico Collins could could beat anybody at this point.
8:48>> 100%. 100%. Uh yeah, I think the Jaguars, as we talked in the running back ranking show, by the way, go and
8:54watch that if you haven't so far, haven't allowed a single rusher to go for 40 yards >> this season. So, I would have loved, you
9:01know, Woody Marks to make his starting debut against someone else. That'd be sweet. But I have to play him. I have to
9:05play him in way too many leagues.
9:07>> Okay, Mike Evans.
9:10He is, let's say, the 2025 CMC version of that with the 49ers wide receivers this year in that he's the only healthy
9:20one left. And this is against the Washington Commanders who love to pressure look and throw zero out there and then leave their bad corners on
9:28islands.
9:29>> Yeah.
9:29>> And guess what? Brock Pur's going to throw it to Mike Evans and he's going to win in one-on-one situations.
9:34>> The Commander defense is fascinating because like they're not even disguising it. There's like here comes the cover zero blitz. like it's very very obvious
9:40like that it's coming and then in those situations I don't think they have the size at corner to defend Mike Evans. Uh
9:48he should be higher than this. Um >> he should go next to uh Christian Watson. Like the reality is when Mike
9:54Evans is healthy, we're not uh treating him like the guy that we should in rankings because we had to play this
10:01game that he might get injured and stuff. I think we're still kind of like calibrated to like thinking that he's a
10:05wide receiver too.
10:07I think right now without Debo like it's hard for him to not be a wide receiver one. This team's projected for 29 and a
10:13half points. Commanders coming off that overtime funkiness now have to travel across the country here. And you know we've already seen JSN finish as the
10:21wide receiver one. Malik Neighbors was the wide receiver four overall. CV Lamb was the wide receiver three overall as well. I mean like this one seems pretty
10:28pretty straightforward as long as he can survive the game healthy.
10:31>> Yeah. He might be a foot taller than Mike Sam.
10:34>> Yes. Yes. Next is Z Flowers.
10:37One, and this is going to be too deep of a dive, but one thing I I wanted to note was obviously the Ravens won last week
10:46against the Falcons, but this Browns defense coordinator coached under and with the Falcons last week and Jeff Olrich. So, I kind of wonder,
10:55hey, this passing offense, everything was 10 yards and shorter. And for Z Flowers, it has to kind of be yards after the catch and some volume on top
11:04of that.
11:05>> If that is in the favor of Tyler Huntley and the offense because they know some areas and some ways to somewhat exploit
11:13it, I wouldn't call what they did on offense last week exploiting it, but they found some like cracks and crevices to have a sufficient passing offense
11:19with or if I think it's Rutenberg, Rudy is uh going to be able to say, "Oh, I know exactly how to slow down anything
11:27that they did effectively last week."
11:28Yeah, I I love all of that. The team total is like pretty mediocre right now.
11:33It's only at 22 points. They're they are favored over the Cleveland Browns. This was kind of my ranking. Like assuming Lamar Jackson's going to play, which is
11:40like very much in the air. He hasn't practiced yet, but they're still holding out hope for him. So, if it is Huntley,
11:45I think we do have to kind of reset, drop him down probably a full uh tier, but 25% uh targets in each contest under
11:54Declan Doyle, like they're going to like make this pass game funnel through them.
11:57I thought last week they did a good job uh just by having the backup quarterback a lot of like quick hitting routes to Z
12:02Flowers making sure he's staying uh involved here. He's going to uh see Denzel Ward some but Denzel Ward does not travel. He plays on that right side
12:11of the field and like that is just >> and especially not the slot and where they've been getting Z in the slot with
12:16kind of tight ends out wide or pulling coverage out wide too. So uh they are very good at getting their best wide
12:22receiver the football.
12:23>> Yes. I mean Garrett Wilson is a perfect example last week. He just did not play nearly as much on the right uh right
12:27side as as he typically does. And I think that Declan Doyle will know that.
12:30If we know that, Declan Doyle knows it.
12:32>> Huntley averaged 4.7 airs per attempt.
12:35We call that the Bow Knicks. Uh the lowest rate against the Atlanta Falcons this season.
12:39>> Bicks wishes he was throwing the ball four and a half yards downfield.
12:42>> Malik Neighbors is next. I'm going to assume that this is still a tier and a tier is going to be pretty deep for us.
12:49This is against the New Orleans Saints.
12:50I mean, the entire goal of a Brandon Staley defense is to stop the big play down the field. We kind of saw it with
12:55Kyler Murray last week, even though he hit like one moonshot. Yeah. Was um hey, just a bunch of quick hitters underneath
13:02over and over again.
13:04>> And you know, there have been some really nice scorers at wide receiver, but they haven't yet allowed a 100yard wide receiver. But, you know, they've
13:11seen Aman Rosset Brown get two touchdowns, Baitman get a touchdown, Justin Jefferson get a touchdown, all this type of stuff. So, this is still a
13:18nice one for for neighbors. Yeah, he's uh I mean the Saints defense has allowed the most fantasy points on the ground to
13:25running backs and I think that's like the one reason why we haven't seen like wide receivers blow up. We'll see if the
13:30Giants can do that again. Something to keep in mind, Andrew Thomas hasn't practiced with the groin injury. Like whenever Andrew Thomas is not on the
13:36field, especially when you have Jamus, like that's a big deal.
13:39>> And Aluminor I think too at right tackle. So they could be down both their tackles.
13:42>> Yes. If that's the case then like you know like Z Flowers and Neighbors like we can go down to tier by the end of the
13:47week. So, make sure you guys are reading words in the big uh 2026.
13:51>> His rankings are in the description down below, and those are updated uh until Sunday morning. There we go. Matthew Golden is your wide receiver 11. He's
14:03wide receiver 15 in consensus rankings.
14:06Uh I mean, speaking of resetting where we should be speaking about players, like Matthew Golden >> should be that for the community out
14:14there. I think he's what, top 10 in yards per out run and all that type of stuff. And I would say our viewers have
14:21at least one of Christian Watson or Matthew Golden at like a 60% rate. Would you put it that number? Maybe that's too
14:28high.
14:29>> I mean, if you also throw in Parker Washington, like correct. You know, we got plenty of things wrong. Like definitely we got a lot of things wrong.
14:35We did nail the wide receivers. If if you don't have the wide receivers, the breakout wide receivers, that was that was your fault.
14:41>> Like I I I rightfully keep getting chirped on some level about Saquon Barkley. Uh, but my response is, "Yeah, but those same people drafted Ken Walker
14:49the third, Christian Watson, Matthew Golden, Parker Washington, George KD, and Brock Perie, and I think they're doing okay.
14:54>> We should we should be like holding the line here for for a lot of these guys on on Matthew Golden. The reset should have
14:59really happened after the first week. I mean, he was getting underneath targets, deep targets. He looked awesome out there. They fully trust him. Uh, and you
15:05know, there's only so many guys to get the ball to after the Jaden Reed injury." Tucker Craft's coming on a little bit here, but you know, like Don
15:11Bland is like getting exposed on these kind of double moves and like winning with speed on the outside. Like that's exactly what Matthew Golden could do,
15:18especially if Joey Porter is going to be facing Christian uh uh Watson here. And I'm not sure exactly how they're going
15:23to use Joey Porter, but you can do some shadow stuff with him. That would just like make the Matthew Golden match up
15:28even crispier than it already is.
15:30>> Yeah. 27 and a quarter team total here for the Packers. So, it's it's very concentrated. It definitely is. Devonte Adams is your wide receiver 12. Is this
15:39still A tier or are we going down?
15:41>> Um I wanted to uh keep him and George Pickkins in this A tier if we can if we can squeeze it in. Um with Adam just
15:50>> the target share like he's not going to win your target share league, but he is going to win your red red zone share
15:55league. And when they're projected for 32 points, you just can't overthink this one. uh you know we've seen multi-score uh outings to you know JSN and JO just
16:05most recently here and like that's exactly what Dvonte Adams does. So um the amount of targets that they had in the recent weeks like that's
16:12unsustainable stuff but I do think Adams at the two yard line is pretty sustainable.
16:17>> And George Pickins is next. Again we already talked a lot about the Cowboys offense. I will say I think both he and
16:23CD Lamb are top 10 in wide receiver fantasy usage this season just like they were last season. uh they've been on the
16:30field together more this year, but yeah, Pickkins just isn't running as hot on touchdowns as he did last year. And some
16:36of those downfield plays are like defensive pass interference versus big time catches.
16:41>> Big time by low if you can.
16:43>> Okay, now we'll rewind that back. We're going to have a bar up there, but that's totally fine. Garrett Wilson coming off
16:48an awesome awesome game. Now he's at the New England Patriots. It sounds like they get Christian Gonzalez back which is a freaking big deal. But I mean this
16:59Jets team still down at I Mitchell. Omar Cooper is returning. Kenan Sadique sounds like he is going to play which by
17:05the way Hayden it feels like concussion protocol is not as lengthy this year as it was last year. Yeah. I have a right read on that.
17:13>> I've I've noticed that. Yeah. There's been a couple times where I was like oh he's not going to like Jamar Chase, you
17:17know.
17:18>> Well and then we have Sadiq here. We have Casey Conception might be playing this week too. Like these are >> seems to be a lot quicker than it was.
17:25Anyways, I digress. Talk to me about Garrett Wilson here.
17:28>> I think Christian Gonzalez is one of the best in the league and I think that's an absolute problem and like there's only
17:32so many corners that I want to like really knock and it's kind of twofold.
17:35Like how good are the corners and Christian Gal is extremely good. And also how willing are the Patriots to actually shadow the their their corners
17:43and they are willing. We've seen this many times going back to the playoff stretch and right before that whenever they face a legit wide receiver one
17:51Christian Gonzalez is shadowing and now you don't shadow him for 100% of the reps. Let's say it's like 75 of them.
17:55Like I do think that is a pretty big deal. Omar Cooper by the way everyone should just pick him up just real quick
18:01just to see what's going on here. Like there's with Adnai Mitchell's finger and whatnot. I think that Omar Cooper is like in in 12 team leagues. I think that
18:08he's a worthwhile uh addition here. Um the team total is also at 18 points.
18:12Like to me, this is we're back. We we ranked Garrett Wilson really high in the last couple weeks and now we started,
18:17you know, retreating to back where he's been for the last couple years.
18:20>> Okay, first point, Garrett Wilson's also playing in the slot less than he has previously.
18:26>> Second point, who would you have for the next four weeks on your fancy roster, Omar Cooper or Mai Lemon?
18:34>> Oh, Omar Cooper. I mean, the Mail Lemon stuff just, you know, he hasn't proven it yet.
18:38>> Okay, next. Parker Washington.
18:42Uh, good player. I mean, good player.
18:45Now, this is against the Houston Texans.
18:46Um, where opposing passers have completed around like 58% of their attempts on throws 10 or more yards down the field. As we always talk
18:54about, this Jaguars team is kind of built in that 15 area, middle of the field stuff. Um, Trevor Lawrence only has one top 12 scoring week in 10 career
19:04matchups against Houston, but Pwash is one of these rare guys, I use the Rword, rare guys that wins both small and big.
19:15Like, he has a tight window targets and even showed off after the catch where he had 78 yards after the catch this past
19:20week.
19:21>> He kind of reminds me of my old co-host, uh, Steve Smith. Kind of see it a little bit. Um, yeah, this matchup like I don't
19:28care what the numbers say. like this is still a very difficult matchup I think especially so like when Dikica Ryan is
19:33back on the sticks and then they also got like uh the linebacker back I think that was like a lot of the problems was
19:38the linebacker now Jaylen Petri I don't think is going to play and I think Parker Washington Petri would would have seen each other uh a little bit here I
19:46think it's a more neutral um situation than anything like uh just how like Jacksonville's defense is teams are not trying to run the ball on the Texans
19:55because of their defensive line as well um and so we could kind see like a high like neutral pass rate game between
20:00these two. I don't I'm not expecting shootouts, but I can see there being a little bit a couple more drop backs than
20:05you would expect. So, I think he's more of a wide receiver two than a wide receiver one. Uh Jacksonville's projected for the 13th most points this
20:11week. This episode is brought to you by Farmers Insurance. Questioning your lineup? Sure. Question your insurance?
20:18Then check out Farmers. Farmers coverage on a page breaks things down so you know what you are and aren't covered for. for
20:27insurance that's truly on your team.
20:29Visit farmers.com today. All right, next. Michael Wilson, your wide receiver 16 against the LA Rams.
20:40This is kind of a twofold thing and I think a bit of a conversation. One, Michael Wilson's really good. That that
20:45is not under debate, but at halftime last week, Jacob Rouset was nine of 20 for 90 yards with a touchdown and an
20:51interception. Now, we know when he throws for 90 yards and a touchdown, most likely that is going either to Michael Wilson or Trey McBride. So, that
20:59is important to say.
21:00>> However, there have been games this season where the garbage time works and the garbage time doesn't. And specifically for the Cardinals, um right
21:10now is last in the NFL with 5.6 yards per pass attempt. They are what 12 and a half point underdogs in this game. But
21:16this Rams defense, I do wonder if they are good enough to prevent these second halves from going berserk and really the
21:23final two minutes of when the Cardinals kind of score a bunch of their fantasy points for us.
21:27>> Yeah, they've allowed I think only 165 pass yards per game. That's 32nd in the league. Um Trey McDuffy is going to see
21:35Michael uh Wilson in this one. Like there's there's nothing about this that's an easy matchup. The only thing that you can say is that they will be
21:41dropping back. Like that's just >> a lot. they're going to be dropping back a lot and you just kind of have to like
21:46let the chips uh fall where they do. Um yeah, there were still like reps like in this last game where he didn't have a
21:51huge one where he was like this close to having a monster a monster game. So he's this season he's the wide receiver seven
21:58in usage. So we can discount that because it's the Cardinals and yada yada yada. But like if the five game sample
22:05is you're the wide receiver seven in in expected fantasy points and you're most likely at least going to be a wide
22:09receiver too.
22:10>> Again the passing offense is two people.
22:12>> Yep. So when you drop back 40 times, you're going to see a lot of opportunity.
22:18>> Yep.
22:18>> Hopefully it's catchable opportunities.
22:20>> Devonte Smith is your wide receiver 17.
22:23Now, if you look in consensus rankings, you really won't find Dvonte Smith's name. Uh he is unranked out there.
22:29That's because I think a lot of people have assumed he's going to miss this one. I do believe Mike Gello was the
22:35latest person who said that even if he's not practicing a lot, the Eagles are anticipating a return for Devonte Smith this week.
22:42>> Yeah, he said still hearing optimism was his quote. So, I'm hoping we get a full part participation um today. If not, I
22:50might drop him down a little bit. We also have the Jaylen Herz news, which is like just super super unfortunate.
22:55Super.
22:55>> Do you want to talk about it? I you know, all these shows run together for me and we talked about at length
22:59yesterday on the forecast with with Harmon. anything you want to say about I mean one just hope Jaylen Herz gets healthy like blood clots are no joke and
23:08it's crazy how this starts off like in people's calves and that's where the pain comes from first and then these clots obviously move and you don't want
23:19them to move in certain places like the lungs um but the number one thing is football players cannot play football on
23:26blood thinners and I am no doctor but just listening and reading this Uh, it sounds like Jayen Herz is going to go on blood thinners and to the point
23:35where until this stuff goes away and is gone, he's not going to play football.
23:40So, to me, Hayden, there's a chance that this goes for the entire season, if not a couple of weeks.
23:46>> That's my exact read on it as well. It's going to be Tanner McKe um out there.
23:50And Tanner McKe has put up some numbers before. You know, it was very odd that they made him the quarterback three and
23:56we got to see the Andy Dalton, you know, red zone interception and all that stuff.
24:01I I I don't exactly understand why that happened because I thought Tanner McKe has looked good when he's been out there
24:06and I think that he has a better chance of like delivering the ball over the middle and stuff. He's not going to buy
24:11enough time and do the tush push stuff, but the reality is like they weren't already doing that anyway. So like I
24:15think it's a little bit of a downgrade, but nothing too crazy. Like I I'm not like making big changes for my Devonte
24:20Smith ranking because, you know, I don't think that Tanner McKe's going to be doing, you know, all all the red zone
24:26scoring in this offense like Jayen Herds like potentially was.
24:29>> I will say the Eagles are projected for the second fewest points in the league this week.
24:33>> Oh yeah, it's a it's a problem. Uh they have been passing the ball a whole lot more recently than they had previously.
24:39I think that's mostly because they have Saquon Barkley uh not on the field. But if Saquon Barkley's not expected to play
24:44this week, I think that they probably are just gonna sit there and like we're not Damen Piercing our way to a victory
24:48behind offensive lineman back.
24:50>> And let's also remember the Panthers don't have JC Horn and Mike Jackson. You know, it's I think a Caleb Evans might
24:56start again opposite Will Lee.
24:58>> Okay. DK Metaf at the Tampa Buccaneers is your wide receiver 18.
25:05I would say this current version of the Cers offense fits perfectly into how offenses play the Bucks in that so far
25:15the Steelers have been fourth in pass rate over expectation and opposing passers have thrown the ball within 2.65 seconds of the snap
25:23against the Bucks which is the second fastest in the league. So again, they're passing the ball a lot, which you do
25:27against the Bucks, and then Aaron Rogers likes to get the ball out of his hands.
25:32And then from the worksheet, when they have been blitzed, when Aaron Rogers has been blitzed, DK Metaf has about a 30%
25:39target share.
25:40>> And that checks out. You face man coverage. You have your one-on-one opportunities, and you throw the ball up to your 6'4 wide receiver. Like in
25:47theory, that's how it should work. Now, it hasn't like been as easy for DK Mechaf at the catch point this season.
25:53He's playing a lot of like real deal ex-wide receiver stuff down the field as well. So I think that his scores are
25:59going to be very up and down this season. He is the wide receiver 27 and expected points does not feel like that
26:04in the box score but you know he is our air yards king and when you lose Michael Pitman and Roman Wilson and whatnot then
26:11the ball starts kind of get funneled to DK Mechaf a little bit more. Um I have been impressed with both of the
26:17Buccaneers corners just on tape this year. They're not like to the degree where it's impossible to score points on them, but they have been weakest, you
26:25know, at linebacker and safety. And like that's that's like the Pat Footh of it all. And I I still have Pat Footh inside
26:32my top 12 at tight end over there. Um yeah, but the reality is they're dropping back too many times and this is
26:37the team that you should drop back on even more. So I think that DK Mechaf, but hopefully this is a week where we
26:42have like maybe it's like first like true boom of the season.
26:45>> Yeah. All I'm asking for Pat Fry this week is to match what JSN put out last night. So, you know, it our game can
26:51remain competitive.
26:52>> Denzel Boston is your wide receiver, 19.
26:56>> This might be the highest he's ranked so far this season. He just keeps doing it, >> you know.
27:00>> Yep.
27:01>> Uh I will add he has no game over seven targets, so we kind of need a touchdown here. Now, Denzel has been awesome with
27:09getting touchdowns. He has 48% of the Browns air yards, which is actually wide receiver 2 behind only JSN. Speaking of him, across the league, 35% of his
27:21targets have been thrown 10 or more yard or 20 or more yards down the field. And then he has easily the vast majority of
27:28this team's endzone targets, fourth highest among all wide receivers. So again, when you need a touchdown, all those things added together give you the
27:35opportunity to score some touchdowns.
27:36>> Yeah. Just he's an awesome football player. He's probably what the favorite for offensive rookie of the year. I haven't checked those those markets, but
27:42he would be probably he'd be my vote today. He is the wide receiver 21 on wide receiver 36 usage across the
27:49season. So, that's a pretty big kind of unsustainable gap. Uh this ranking initially was assuming that Casey Conpion was not going to play and that
27:57they have running back injuries. Like it's like too early in the week to like fully settle that in to come back for
28:02the final Denzel Boston ranking. Uh just looking at the Baltimore secondary one, I think it's a very good defense. I think it's one that Deshun Watson kind
28:11of like see ghost in. So I'm not saying it's a good matchup, but if you do look at the guys that have been producing at
28:17wide receiver against Baltimore, Drake London, Carnell Tate, CD Lamb, Chris Olive, it's like kind of like these bigger vertical threat type of players,
28:25which obviously that's what Denzel Boston is. All of them have been uh top 16 finishers against Baltimore. So like that's like the the through line of it
28:32all. I I am nervous that you know Jesse Mter versus Deshawn Watson with that new offensive line like could still end up
28:38being a problem here. But if if Casey Conpsion is out, Boston's a must play.
28:44>> Who even would be second in offensive? Like if there was ever to give it to an offensive lineman, it would be Vega Yani this year. you
28:56know. Yeah, I would have to go back and watch those two players individually back to back, but like I've been very
29:02very impressed watching Vega in a terrible situation with backup quarterbacks playing out of position and they're still getting it done. Like that
29:09that is that's awesome stuff.
29:11>> Yeah. And now he gets to go back to his natural position. Hey, I know this isn't the statement that you are writing in
29:18ink, but based on your Panthers wide receiver rankings, you're kind of expecting a cliff here. You're expecting a bit of a downfall for the Panthers. Uh
29:28you have Ted McMillan as wide receiver 20 and he's top 10 uh out there this season. You have Jaylen Coker as wide
29:35receiver 22. He's top 12 wide receiver this season. Uh and T-Mac is wide receiver 16 in consensus rankings. So why so low on them this week?
29:46>> Well, you got to get them closer together when they're playing together, not you know T-Mac by himself. They've also faced the Bears, Falcons, Browns,
29:53and Lions. And now you got the Eagles corners. And so I think it's like just looking at the corner matchups between
29:58those four teams versus what they're getting with uh obviously Quinon and Cooper Deene and Reek Woolen. Like I think especially Quinan and Reek have
30:08size that can kind of hang with these guys where I just think it's it is a difficult matchup in general. Uh the
30:13team total is at 21 points. That's not shockingly low, but you start like kind of dicing that up three different ways
30:20between Chuba, T-Mac, and Jaylen. It's, you know, like one of these guys could absolutely still go crazy here. I think it's just it's a difficult matchup on
30:27the road against the Eagles defense that I think is now healthier than it was a couple weeks ago.
30:32>> And it's difficult to know which one is going to produce, you know, because Jaylen Cooker has had better games than
30:38T-Mac uh when they've been on the field together. I'll also add team got kind of shut out of that game against the
30:44Cleveland Browns and that's when Jaylen Coker left after a quarter and you know then the passing offense had to go through Bryson Tmaine uh and and John
30:53Mechy. Um the Eagles are two vastly different teams when they create pressure and when they don't. Yeah.
30:59>> Uh when they've gotten pressure they allow just 34% completion rate. Um and they have not allowed a touchdown pass which again Bryce has been pressured a
31:07lot this season. He does get Taylor Motton back at right tackle. Dame Lewis is coming back at left guard. He hasn't
31:13been bad versus pressure. He's still like 15th in the league in all those metrics. Um but again without pressure, which they will need to do in this game,
31:2273% completion rate and 7.9 yards per attempt. So that's the goal.
31:26>> Yes. And then just to kind of reset on Tedoa, from week 10 on last year to week three with Jaylen Coker in the lineup,
31:34he was the wide receiver 22 on wide receiver 22 usage. So, it's kind of that's my starting point here. Now, Bryce is playing better. The offensive
31:40scheme just feels better and more suited for wide receiver points. I think that's more of kind of the floor with him, but
31:46that was my baseline. Now, we're in the tougher matchup. So, I'm kind of keeping these guys together.
31:50>> As someone who watches Panthers games, um, if Dave Canals was calling plays here, it would lean more towards let's play really good defense against Hen
31:59McKe and run the football.
32:00>> Yeah. Brad Izzy needs to keep the pedal to the floor in this from like the first series from from the first quarter and
32:06it would be very Panthers to have the backup quarterback here coming off a win off a buy and and lose. So show that
32:14you're a different organization and and win this game. Week six is here and football has already given us plenty to debate with every new matchup bringing

33:01app today and keep football at your fingertips wherever you are. The crown is yours. Terry McLaren is next as wide receiver 21. This is against the San
33:12Francisco 49ers. Um, I'm still kind of in on the >> Yeah.
33:17>> Commanders, you know, uh, I don't think their offensive success last week got enough love because of how the game ended and it was really bad weather.
33:29Like, the wide receivers were not wearing gloves. They're going to be able to wear gloves in this game on the road
33:33against the 49ers. And that just means more passes thrown in their direction.
33:37>> This assumes that Steph Diggs is not going to play. Hamstring injury didn't practice on Thursday. is too early in the week to know that because this
33:44game's on uh Monday. Um but yeah, the team total is at 22 points. You know, it was good that Jaden Daniels like felt
33:50comfortable enough to like run around that game. And I don't think he's going to be able to run around this game
33:55because he has Fred Warner tracking him over the middle. So, I think that they're going to be forced into like more norable dropbacks, like drop back
34:02and actually throw the ball rather than take a sack or scramble around. Uh because Fred Warner is just going to be
34:07tracking him. So, um I think that's good news for Terry McLuren. The 49ers have like I think an underrated defense right
34:14now just in general like they don't have a bunch of stars beyond Fred Warner that are healthy right now, but like their
34:19depth over the years has been on the field a lot and they've really improved.
34:23Um so San Francisco's been 25th against uh fantasy wide receivers. Um but you know Michael Wilson, JSN, like when the ball gets funneled like they can still
34:32have big games against them and I think the ball will get funneled to Terry McGloin here. Yeah, we know Terry missed
34:38week four and then in week five he only played around 58% of the snaps and a lot of that was, you know, in the fourth
34:43quarter and so hopefully he gets another week of rest and he's totally fine. And if he's a full snap player then he's
34:49easily their best wide receiver easily.
34:52>> Okay, this is where you have Jaylen Coker. And so next is Josh DS. Can we drop down the Ctier or is Josh Downs in
35:00the B tier? Okay, Josh Down Ctier.
35:04Uh, based on your charts, you have promised us that this is a Josh Downs week. He hit 77 yards in a game back in
35:12September. Obviously, no touchdowns still, but will he top that?
35:16>> Um, probably not. But this is a Josh Downs week before the game starts and we can always, you know, have have fun uh
35:23doing that. The reason why I tweeted that out is uh the Tennessee Titans defense on throws under 10 air yards this season. They've allowed the second
35:30most fantasy points per game. So that's like where he and Keenan Allen are going to operate. And then I looked at the
35:35bucket five to 20 air yards which is kind of where Josh Downs is going this year where he's kind of running a couple
35:41more downfield routes. They've allowed the fourth most fantasy points to wide receivers in that bucket as well. So like where Josh Downs is operating the
35:49Titans have been bad at. That's my promise to you guys is is that has been true this year. And the Colts have a
35:55team total that's 25 and three/4ers points, which is the seventh highest >> of the week. Um, and they're at home.
36:02So, like indoors, so we're not worrying about Daniel Jones out in the elements this year because he can't push the ball
36:08down the field. The Titans stink working over the middle and underneath and the team total is really high.
36:14>> That's it.
36:15>> Shane Styen should beat up on bad teams.
36:17>> Yes. You know, now that doesn't mean Josh DS, who I think has one endzone target all season long, is going to
36:22score touchdowns, but 77 yards would be a nice total.
36:26>> That would be a great total. I'll count down as a win.
36:28>> Okay. I think this is the 13th time this season you have had Luther Burton and Roma backtoback in rankings. And here we
36:35are again as your wide receiver 24 and 25. This is against the Atlanta Falcons.
36:42Um, they are third in pressure rate, which should honestly force Caleb Williams to be tested immediately of, okay, is he going to be an ontime
36:51thrower in the pocket, or is he going to elongate, scramble around like he did in the first two games of the season?
36:59>> Yeah, that'll be fascinating to see exactly how healthy he is. Um and but I do think what we've learned recently is
37:06there was some wonkiness in the route participation early on due to some injuries and the cleiff Raymond the backups of it all but last week Luther
37:14Burden 79% of the routs like there was times where it was a little bit lower than that and then Roma Dunay he was at
37:2099% of the routes so we're not kind of like rotating these guys around as much.
37:25We've seen Khif Raymond's kind of involvement in the offense fall a little bit now. Yeah, there's still like a ton of mouths to feed and I think that
37:31Khalif Raymond's like completely going away, but this is how we can feel a little bit more comfortable for the rest of the season. I I said it on the
37:38running back ranking show. I think this next off seasonason is going to be from week six on the Bears did X, Y, and Z
37:44with all these guys. It's going to be, you know, kind of whackable with all these players. Um, but Atlanta's been a
37:51passfunnel uh defense this year. They're only averaging 80 rush yards per game and they've allowed the eighth most uh fantasy points to wide receivers. They
38:00don't have AJ Terrell right now. Uh and the team total is really high at 26 and a half points. So I think that Luther
38:05Burden, Roman Duny, like nothing about their box scores are like you have to play these guys. But I think the context
38:10of where we were drafting him before the season started, the team total and now the routes, I think it's like enough to
38:15roll the dice.
38:17>> I do want to mention Colson Loveland.
38:18Jacob Gibbs brought up this number uh and then Davis reiterated it and that's how it got in my ears. Um Coulson
38:26Loveland of all running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends has played the most snaps in the NFL.
38:33>> I don't believe you.
38:35>> He truly has.
38:35>> I don't believe you.
38:36>> Isn't that an >> It's a wild >> insane stat. I mean, if it feels the opposite, >> but he has played the most snaps of any
38:45running back, wide receiver, or tight end in the NFL this season. You can tell I was tilting if you guys are reading my
38:50my words. Uh when I was writing the Coulson Lovelin thing, I just went back to the box scores before the season
38:55started. I was like, "This did happen, right?" Like, I'm pretty sure like he did go crazy for like seven straight games. And he did. I did. I I went back
39:03and double checked and that was a true thing that happened.
39:05>> The Bears are what fifth and 13 personnel looks this season. Last year when they ran the 13 personnel, he had a
39:1155% market share and ran like 4.8 yards per route run in those looks. And >> yeah, >> instead Sam Roush is getting some
39:18manufactured touches.
39:19>> Sam Rous is special teams and then drops in the pass game. It's like LVP. And so I mean it's crazy.
39:26>> Romeo Dobs is your wide receiver 26.
39:30This is against the New York Jets. So the Jets defense, it's Jaclyn Hyde.
39:35They've allowed 381 passing yards to Detroit, 492 to the Chicago Bears. But then teams like the Titans and the Browns, it's 195 and 198. But they also
39:44did keep the Packers down to 199. So which side of that page is this Patriots passing game on?
39:52>> I think that they're kind of finding the groove a little bit here and their team total is at 25 and a half points. That
39:58seems about right for me. The Jets defense I think is, you know, a little bit feisty, but they just still don't
40:04have enough like really good players for me to be nervous. And Romeo Dobs, I know he did nothing in the box score this
40:10last week, but I watched that game twice now. And there were a couple of defensive pass interferences. He had a couple jump ball opportunities in the
40:17end zone as well. It's a lot of the vertical plane wide receiver stuff, which I don't think is maximizing what Romeo Dobs is best at, which is to me a
40:25little bit more kind of uh tough catches, winning the ball over the middle, like slants, in cuts, out cuts, that type of thing. Um, so it's not the
40:32exact perfect role for him, but it is a role where he can get hot, score a long touchdown, catch a couple red zone
40:39touchdowns in a game and when they're projected for 25 and a half points, I kind of have like the boom bust wide
40:45receiver three label on them.
40:46>> The only, well, not the only one pathway for the Jets is to create pressure. I mean, they have pressure opposing
40:53quarterbacks like against the Browns 49% of the time, 40% against the Titans, and what Caleb Blu I think is popping in
41:01here at at left tackle this week. So, we'll see if he's actually an improvement, just as good or worse than Will Campbell on the left side.
41:09>> Yes, >> you have Devon Valle. This is at the Giants. I mean, it's kind of back to what we talked about. If Chris is going
41:16to have a really nice week, then Devon could have a good week.
41:20>> Yeah, last week was a season low in his involvement. 6.9 expected half PPR points across the season. Wide receiver 26 and wide receiver 20 usage. But um
41:28I'm recalibrating like I said with the Kelvin Banks injury and the Tyler Shuck hand.
41:34>> And by the way, you had Jaylen W as wide receiver 27 which is actually lower than >> not low enough had him as wide receiver
41:4323. So I think I'm going to give you a small win for that.
41:46>> Yeah.
41:47>> Uh but I think you and I would both say that wide receiver 27 and beyond just like running back 18 and beyond is
41:54disgusting.
41:55It's disastrous. It's bile. So, keep that in mind with every single name we're talking about here.
42:02>> Yeah.
42:03>> Carell Tate is next. This is at the Indianapolis Colts. Uh, he caught what, one of five targets last week. I
42:11actually thought he was open, but there was instant disruption immediately at the end of Cam Ward's drop back. So, then you're going to like second plays,
42:18elongated plays, all that type of stuff.
42:21Uh, unfortunately on throws of 10 or more yards down the field, Cam Ward is completing just 40% of those. He's 29th
42:26in the league. The Colts defense has been horrible in the slot this season.
42:31So, I do wonder if Brian Dball is intelligent to put Carnell Tate in like 3x1 looks closer to the formation or 2
42:41by two looks in the slot out of that stuff because he's definitely not just lining up as a pure X outside and we run
42:47in a straight line.
42:48>> I think how they're like managing the wide receivers is like actually that's not their their problem so far. Like I've liked what they've done with
42:54Carnell Tate in general. Um yeah, it is a little bit more of a Wale Robinson game on paper, but like there's no such
43:00thing as the Wandel Robinson game in 2026 on this offense.
43:04>> There's just like not enough normal drop backs in this offense. Like interior pressure, sure, totally understand that, but like the ball is like never leaving
43:11Cam Ward's time hand on time >> like 15 yards down the field. Like that just like doesn't happen. Um there has
43:18been like some, you know, kind of like deep threat types that have gotten home.
43:22Trayon Burks had that 47 yard touchdown.
43:25Taekquin Thornton had 80 yards against Indianapolis Colts. Jeremy Bernard had a decent game last week. Like it is possible for kind of, you know, players
43:34like in development to to have a decent game against the Colts. They're going to need it. Uh they're, you know, obviously
43:40predicted to lose by a touchdown, but the team total is still under 19 points.
43:44Lad Mani makes his return hopefully.
43:48He's your wide receiver 30. Hayden, how does it feel to be eight spots ahead of consensus on Lan Maki this week?
43:53>> I mean, I mean, it just means I need a low room.
43:56>> Um, look, >> the lowest team total of the week by by a fairly good margin >> and it should be. It really should be.
44:03Uh, the offensive line is a joke. It has no chance against the Chiefs defensive line, which I think is better than it
44:09has been in many years. Uh, this year they got a lot of like young talent that have passed the eye test to me. Yeah,
44:14we'll see about the full participation from Lad Mank. He's only been limited with this foot injury. he was only out there as an emergency option last week.
44:21He's, you know, always very ripe to leave a game early. Um, that said, like they can't run the ball and if he's the
44:29only guy out there because Trey Harris and Quinn Johnson have been banged up, like we'll get the final injury reports, like that's how loud McCon can kind of
44:35like PPR scam. I am worried though like the Chiefs corners and defense in general kind of want to smack wide receivers around and like you know yeah
44:44those are the games where you're like okay I've I've got this tiny wide receiver out there and these guys just want to
44:50>> smoke these wide receivers that makes me look a little bit nervous for sure.
44:53Xavier Worthy. Always a good sign for lad when Xavier Worthy is right next to you. He's your wide receiver 31. This is
45:01at the Chargers. Hayden, is this just as simple as Rushy Rice down? Taon Thornton out.
45:08It's Xavier Worthy versus Justin Watson.
45:11>> Yeah.
45:12>> And Jaylen Royals.
45:14>> Then your guys uh Cyrus Allen.
45:17>> Cyrus Allen. Look, Hayden, we do talk about post by rookie bumps. The Chiefs did just have a buy.
45:23>> Things have happened.
45:24>> I mean, if if it is Jaylen Royal, Xavier Worthy, and Cyrus Allen out there, that will be the smallest wide receiver trio
45:30in NFL history. I mean, like, that is just like unacceptable. Um, yeah, if Rashi Rice and Taekwon Thorne aren't out there, then he's going to be out there
45:39for all the snaps that get him involved underneath. They do throw him the ball down the field. He had 115 airs in week
45:45four after both of those wide receivers had left. 26% target share. He was a wide receiver, 33 in usage uh in week
45:53four. Did he do a whole lot with it? Of course not. But you know, he will be involved in this offense and the offense
45:59is projected for 24 and a half points against the Chargers who have been dealing with injuries on the defense as well. Derwin James hasn't been playing
46:08that much. Dante Jackson, I think still is on the injury report as well. So, lots of little moving parts here, but
46:14this is the right range for Xavier Worthy, unfortunately.
46:16>> Should he have been Dtier or we just go the next thing? We'll just go the next thing, you know.
46:21>> Yeah.
46:22>> Khalil Shakir sits here. Unfortunately, it seems like DJ Moore is going to go backto back not playing. He has DMPD all
46:31week long. Uh so, while I'd been excited about Keon Coleman in the past, maybe I kind of am a little bit more here,
46:39Hayden, because I could understand Keon Coleman not doing well against the Rams outside corners this past week. And we had seen other games where Keon Coleman
46:48had kind of exploded when DJ Moore left after, you know, the first quarter.
46:53>> Yeah, I think in hindsight on the Keon Coleman stuff, like we have to pick our battles with him and like Trent McDuffy
47:00and Jaylen Watson when he was out there like are probably that's asking a lot now. I think the Raiders uh >> corners, they're better than we what we
47:08thought going into the year. They're making some young players are making some plays, but at the same time like they're not like rock solid in coverage.
47:16Um, so I think it is possible that Shakir or Keon Coleman could have a big game. They're projected for 29 points.
47:22Shakir is like still not that involved this season. He's the wide receiver 44 in usage and DJ Moore hasn't played that
47:28much of this of the season and that's with Dalton Concaid like getting like nothing um so far as well. So I think
47:34all these guys are like, you know, pure dart throws at this point. But I I like my dart throws when teams are projected
47:41for 29 points.
47:43>> Next, Ibuka. So down bad when you find yourself here. Um, this is against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Uh, I would say a
47:51top five defense so far this season. I'm glad Jaylen Daniels had that game in prime time. This one's a bit different
47:58going from the Cowboys over to the Steelers. Uh, the Steelers have though allowed 19 passing plays of 20 plus yards. That is 31st in the NFL. But
48:08other than that, they're good in every other area. Wow.
48:10>> So, unless we see a light show from Jaylen Daniels to Emeaha, uh, it could be a long day.
48:16>> Definitely. So, I I think that the difference between the Cowboys and the Steelers, like you said, is is overwhelming. Um, now I do think that
48:24our valuation on Jaylen Daniels was like pretty spot-on from like the preseason.
48:29Like he >> he's not the worst quarterback that's going to be playing uh football this this weekend, most likely. So, >> no, we already saw BX play last night.
48:36We we definitely did.
48:38>> And Sam >> and Sam Arnold. It's not good for those guys. They're not seeing the field very well. Um >> and we saw Baker Mayfield play football
48:44this season.
48:44>> Yes.
48:45>> Jaylen Daniels just played a better game than Baker Mayfield has all year long.
48:48>> That this is definitely true. It was it was a Mecca's best game in terms of fantasy points and usage last week. So
48:53like that's why you hang your hat on here if you are are desperate. They are projected for under 19 points. So it's
49:0018 and a half. That's 25th in the league. Just that's where I'm you know calibrating. Jeremy Bernard.
49:06Uh, my bold prediction is Jeremy Bernard finishes as a top 20 wide receiver this week.
49:10>> I like it. I can see it.
49:13>> Again, it goes back to where the Steelers are kind of leaned into.
49:18Obviously, they've been very good running the football with Jaylen Warren, but you just can't do that against the Bucks. They're going to throw more
49:24against the Blitz. And what I just love is that Jiren Bernard has not played mistake free football. He's left some plays including drops on the field. In
49:34other situations, Aaron Rogers just like not want that guy to play, but he really likes Jeremy Bernard and he's playing through it and he's running a route on
49:42like 95% of dropbacks and then also playing in the slot about 56% of the time on that. So, I can see some quick
49:50hitters and all that. So, uh Dream Bernard is to me a possible straight from your waiver wire to your starter starting lineup here. Totally agree
49:59across the board. Uh watching that game back, there were times where Rogers would get up to the line of scrimmage, tap the helmet, do a little hand motion
50:06towards Jeremy, and then he would just run like a little quick slant stuff. So like he's on the same page with that
50:10type of stuff. There's still some obvious mistakes out there, but I think his size, toughness, and like contested catchability is what Rogers appreciates.
50:19And like everything is just these inbreaking routes for for Jeremy Bernard. Uh and that's exactly what he did at Alabama when he played all across
50:26the field. He'll play a mostly flanker in slot uh for uh the Steelers with DK Mechaf doing the vertical plane stuff.
50:33So like he's got that like kind of like he's exactly what Michael Pitman has been for the Colts for the last couple
50:38years and what Pitman's supposed to be this year. Um I think just Jeremy Bernard is just going to ride with it.
50:43So I think he's a wide receiver three.
50:44>> You want to talk Kendrick Bourne? Um I was hoping that we would get Kendrick Bourne into two wide receiver sets and
50:50all that type of stuff with Marvin Harrison Jr. gone. That is not the case.
50:54He has just kept his role and then they just have marathoners running wind sprints on the outside.
50:58>> Yes.
50:59>> Uh but with that said, uh Kendrick Bourne on dropbacks is going to play like 75% of them and there's going to be
51:06a lot of dropbacks here from the Cardinals.
51:07>> Last week was the textbook Kendrick Bourne game. He was the wide receiver 28 on wide receiver 16 usage. He had eight
51:15targets turned him into 70 scoreless yards like in crazy crazy game script. I you know that's kind of exactly what we're doing here. The difference being
51:22is now your garbage time is against the Rams instead of your garbage time being against the Lions. So, I've dropped him
51:29from where I had him the last week um and where he finished last week. It's very similar spot though in general.
51:34>> I know Matt thinks that Trey Chucker could have a sneaky week against the Bills.
51:38>> I like it.
51:39>> Um 20 yards or more throws this season though. Buffalo has been very good. Uh only six of 19 have been completed. So,
51:47that's like a big part of Trey Tucker's game. At the same point, I mean, the Raiders might be on upset watch here
51:54against against the Bills. Their wide receiver one is obviously Brock Bowers, and if they have a tough time slowing Brock Bowers down, then uh things could
52:01get some feisty, some I think the Raiders are a little frisky, you know, they're frisky.
52:06>> I like it. I like it. Um, I'm looking at the matchup mat that uh I created and the Bills have mostly been completely
52:16inept against wide receivers under the 20 air yards mark. They've allowed the most uh fantasy points within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage to wide
52:25receivers. And then in that five to 20 kind of intermediate areas range, also the most fantasy points to wide receivers. Um, so that's not exactly
52:33where Trey Tucker always wins, but I think he can do that. I don't think they have anybody that could go toe-to-toe
52:40with Brock Bowers. And let's say it is Christian Benford who's been playing through an injury like on Brock Bowers to probably what I'm guess what Matt
52:47Harmon's saying is, you know, Maxwell Haristen is just like biting on everything, kind of getting dunked on.
52:53Not that Trey Tucker is doing a whole lot of dunking on you, but uh I do think that he's better than what the Bills
52:59have uh at at corner.
53:01>> Okay, I'm just going to throw up the rest of the names. You have Jacobe Meyers, Juan Delale Robinson, Dantavian Wixs, Keon Coleman, and we'll close
53:11things out with Brennan Cooks. Maybe Cooks is the name to bring up here because again, we we talked through all of the 49ers wide receivers to cycle
53:20through. He's, I guess, left. They're projected for 29 and a half points. I totally understand if that's only going to go to CMC and George KD and Mike
53:27Evans, but other wide receivers have been, you know, productive in this team and I'm just a little bit nervous that Brandon Cooks just has nothing left in
53:35this game.
53:36>> Yeah, like Jacob Cowing's out there as well. That's going to be >> and they open up Christian Kirk's practice window, too.
53:42>> Yeah, this one's definitely like as in pencil as it gets, you know. Uh, so it's, you know, another reason to keep
53:49moving Mike Evans up the rankings there.
53:51Uh yeah, I would say like once you get to the Keon Coleman, like I understand that dart throw if DJ Moore is out, but
53:58like after that it's like okay, we we've got to find a tight end that we could use like Pat Frymouth versus Keon
54:03Coleman and stuff. Like I think that's like a very very real debate.
54:07>> Okay, that does it. Thanks everyone for tuning in. We'll be back here on Sunday morning. Uh, I'll be on with Harmon and
54:14Boone at 10:30 a.m. Eastern. And then around 11:30, Hayden jumps on for an hour and a half, we just answer your
