Braelon Allen
NegativeRole0:34
Braelon Allen is expected to take some workload away from Breece Hall, but the source notes this is a result of the Jets utilizing their running backs heavily rather than a negative reflection on Hall's role.

The source highlights that Breece Hall looks healthy and is playing in a more competent Jets offense than in previous years, making him a prime trade target. Despite sharing work with Braelon Allen, Hall is averaging 19 carries and 3.5 receptions per game, with the potential for 6-8 catch games in negative game scripts; he currently ranks sixth in total touches through two weeks.

0:00Does Breece Hall just not like look good
0:01this year? He finally looks healthy.
0:03We've dealt with years where he was
0:05injured or the offense was just a
0:06complete disaster. We're getting a
0:08little something from the offense this
0:10year. There's some reasons to be excited
0:12and he looks really good in my opinion.
0:14So, he's somebody that I've actually
0:15been trying to trade for in some leagues
0:17hoping that other managers maybe don't
0:19realize just how good he looks and the
0:21potential that he has behind that line
0:23and in a Jets offense that could be a
0:25little better than people expected.
0:26>> There's competency in New York for the
0:28first time in his entire career. And I
0:31think that this is the healthiest he's
0:32looked since that injury on top of that.
0:34He's going to lose some work to to
0:36Braelon Allen, but that's also just
0:37because they're using their running
0:38backs entirely so much. He's still
0:40averaging 19 carries, three and a half
0:41receptions. And there's going to be some
0:43weeks when they if they are trailing,
0:44which I think the Lions are just going
0:45to pretty much like not punt against the
0:47Jets defense the entire game, where he's
0:49going to finish with six, seven, eight
0:50catches in a game. I think that this
0:51could be one of them. So, I I really
0:52like Breece Hall here.
0:53>> Yeah, through two weeks, sixth most
0:55touches behind like all the big names
0:57that you would expect. So, he's right
0:59there in terms of all
