Alec Pierce

PositiveBreakout22:02

The source cited Alec Pierce as having upside swing potential, noting he has done it before, positioning him as a player who could hit among multiple wide receiver selections available at this stage.

Insight page

Amon-Ra St. Brown

PositiveValue0:30

Positioned as a potential fallback option in the first round if he falls to the second pick; part of the first six selections in the mock draft alongside elite running backs and wide receivers, indicating strong first-round tier status.

Insight page

Bijan Robinson

PositiveValue3:15

Included in the first six selections of the mock draft alongside elite running backs and wide receivers; part of the premium tier in full PPR.

Insight page

Breece Hall

PositiveValue10:59

In full PPR, Breece Hall is preferred over Javonte Williams because Hall will be more involved in pass-catching; the source would rather have Hall at this draft position.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveValue4:00

In full PPR formats, Brock Bowers becomes a strong tight end value pick, especially in redraft leagues. The source argues there is a clear drop-off after the top eight tight ends, and Bowers has comparable odds to elite wide receivers like Nico Collins, George Pickens, and AJ Brown of posting 1000+ yards and 100 catches. This makes him preferable to aging veterans or injury-recovery candidates at tight end. Bowers is ranked a tier above both Trey McBride and Josh Allen at the position, indicating superior fantasy upside. The source drafts Bowers in the early rounds and expects him to benefit from a better environment around him in full PPR with two flex spots.

Insight page

Chris Godwin

NegativeProjection29:54

Wide receiver drafted at 7.04; the source expresses significant concern about Godwin's health and performance trajectory. Godwin did not look right in the previous year, and the source is nervous due to serious injuries in his history. When Godwin returned from injury after rushing his recovery the first time, he still was not productive. The source notes he had drops on extended sideline grabs and is uncertain whether he will bounce back or enter a decline phase post-injury. Godwin is described as one of the hardest and most difficult players for the source to rank, and the source has not been drafting him heavily due to competition from younger players in the offense.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

PositiveValue2:45

Positioned as the clear seventh-best option in full PPR format. Benefits from 49ers injury situation with more touches being funneled his direction as teammates get banged up; the source notes if more and more 49ers players are already getting injured, that continues to funnel more volume in CMC's direction.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveValue19:00

The source identifies Christian Watson as the cutoff point for continuing to prioritize running backs over wide receivers in their draft strategy. Watson was expected to potentially fall to pick 57, but was selected at 51, indicating strong demand and value perception among the draft community.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

PositiveValue33:28

Panthers RB ranked ahead of JK Dobbins despite both having injury-prone profiles; the source notes the Panthers lack an established RB3, giving Hubbard a clearer path to touches. Additionally, the Commanders offense is better than several backfields with running backs going ahead of both Hubbard and Warren, such as the Steelers and Panthers; the source recommends moving both Commanders backs up in draft priority.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

PositiveValue20:18

The source selects DJ Moore over DeAndre Swift and Quinchon Judkins late in the draft, prioritizing Moore to fill the flex spot. The decision reflects a preference for Moore's receiving upside over Swift's role uncertainty and Judkins' limited pass-catching ability.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

PositiveValue20:18

The source likes DeAndre Swift and selected him as a flex spot player in this draft scenario. Despite initially considering DJ Moore, the source reaffirmed confidence in Swift as a flex option, stating 'I feel really good about my flex spots being Kyrie Williams, DeAndre Swift.' Swift is positioned as a preferred flex selection over other late-round options.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveRole7:30

Drake London was selected in full PPR over Amarian Hampton due to his role as an outside-to-inside receiver who will command high target volume. The source trusts the Falcons' offensive scheme to funnel significant volume to London. Falcons defensive injuries (including a first-round pick likely facing legal issues and cornerback Jaylen Walker's ACL tear) suggest the team could finish with a top-five pick, forcing them to play from behind and increasing London's pass-catching opportunities. The source projects London will 'catch a million passes' in a negative game script scenario.

Insight page

Drake Maye

PositiveValue19:46

The source suggests pushing Drake May another round in full PPR formats and not necessarily stacking him with AJ Brown every time, noting there's a chance he falls to you later without forcing the stack; this implies positive value relative to typical stacking conventions.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveBreakout16:00

Garrett Wilson is positioned as a breakout candidate, with Ron Stewart's analysis highlighting his success on first-read targets from Gino Smith. The source selects him as their first flex pick, noting that this is Wilson's time to shine after previous years of underperformance relative to draft capital. Despite Adonai Mitchell at X and the team drafting Omar Cooper in round one, the source expects significant target volume to flow through Wilson, both on short-to-intermediate routes and downfield opportunities.

Insight page

Harold Fannin

PositiveValue29:07

Tight end ranked favorably in the sixth-round range; the source states Fannon has never looked better than when on the clock at this draft position, indicating strong preference for him in this tier. Fannon is ranked ahead of Cal Pittz in the source's rankings, though the source notes the decision may flip depending on format.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

NegativeValue33:54

Ravens RB ranked behind Chuba Hubbard in draft context; the source notes both have similar injury-prone profiles with history of getting banged up. Neither pick is strongly endorsed.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

PositiveValue3:15

Included in the first six selections of the mock draft; positioned as an elite wide receiver in the first round of full PPR.

Insight page

Jakobi Meyers

PositiveRole40:17

Commanders WR settled the offense once he arrived last year and received an extension before hitting free agency, indicating the team's confidence in his role. The source expects Meyers to continue playing a meaningful role in the offense.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

NegativeRole10:30

Javonte Williams lacks significant pass-catching volume in his skill set; he is being drafted primarily for touchdown upside rather than receiving production. The source notes he is still a good pick despite typically going later than his current draft position, but Breece Hall is preferred in full PPR due to Hall's greater involvement in pass-catching.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

PositiveValue25:48

The source identifies Jaden Daniels as the preferred quarterback in the post-Drake Maye/Lamar Jackson tier, citing superior stacking opportunities with receivers like Stefon Diggs compared to Joe Burrow (who lacks available stack partners). The speaker selected Daniels in the experimental draft and plans to pair him with Diggs later, emphasizing the strategic advantage of quarterback selection based on available offensive weapons.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

NegativeInjury5:06

Jaylen Waddle was spotted limping in practice video on August 6, with coach Sean Payton initially suggesting a four-to-five-day return timeline for a strain. However, the source expresses skepticism about this optimistic timeline, noting that if Waddle is limping upon return, it may indicate a multi-week injury. With four weeks until the season starts, the source wants to monitor closely as the season approaches, citing historical precedent (Darnell Mooney) that missing training camp is a significant setback. Waddle has a history of getting banged up mid-game, and durability concerns compound the injury risk. The source would not pick Waddle over Zay Flowers at this point due to the injury.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

NegativeRole36:49

Steelers RB drafted to pair with Chuba Hubbard and address the running back two spot. The key consideration is whether Warren can prove serviceable catching passes out of the backfield; the source cautions against overreacting to training camp clips and notes it's more important that he's not a total liability in pass-catching situations, which would indicate he's not a tell for run plays when on the field.

Insight page

Joe Burrow

NegativeValue25:37

The source considers Joe Burrow as a viable quarterback option in the post-Drake Maye/Lamar Jackson tier but notes a critical stacking disadvantage: his primary receiving targets (Jamar Chase, Tee Higgins, Chase Brown) were already drafted, eliminating the ability to stack him with complementary offensive weapons. This lack of available stack partners makes Burrow less attractive than Jaden Daniels in this draft context.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

PositiveValue0:02

Ranked 8th overall in full PPR despite not being a full PPR-type running back; still considered really awesome in the format if the Colts can keep moving the offense. The source is still probably going to be looking at Jonathan Taylor at this ranking, positioning him as a strong value relative to format expectations. Also selected as the first pick in the PPR draft in the mock, indicating he remains a consensus top-tier running back.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

PositiveValue33:28

Panthers RB selected over Chuba Hubbard in draft; the source evaluates Brooks as probably a better player than Jonathan Taylor in comparison. Full PPR profile favors pass-down work and should have ADP close to Hubbard's despite being drafted first.

Insight page

Jordyn Tyson

PositiveBreakout32:07

Wide receiver rookie drafted in the sixth round; the source values Tyson's theoretical upside and film despite not being his favorite prospect pre-draft. The source characterizes Tyson as boom-bust and explicitly states he needs a boom outcome, making Tyson a good fit for his roster construction. Saints offense under Kell Moore features slot receiver opportunity; Tyson has a chance to play slot in this offense, which has been a through-line in Moore's offensive schemes. Saints are managing Tyson's snaps carefully in practice, not asking him to go full intensity every day, treating him like a veteran in some instances.

Insight page

Josh Allen

NegativeValue11:31

Josh Allen offers consistency at tight end but presents an opportunity cost relative to other options; the source does not recommend him at this draft position. His ADP is falling to 20th overall in full PPR leagues with extra flex spots, where his value decreases the most relative to standard formats, making him the player falling furthest in the source's mock draft.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveSleeper21:42

The source cited Josh Downs as an example of sleeper wide receiver types available in the ADP landscape, grouping him with Matthew Golden as multiple sleeper WR options at this stage of the draft.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

PositiveValue33:13

Justin Herbert remains available on the draft board four weeks before draft; the source identifies a Herbert-to-Quentin Johnston stack as part of a roster construction strategy, indicating stack value at this ADP.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

NegativeProjection2:23

Being moved down in full PPR rankings due to quarterback uncertainty; Kyler Murray's training camp injury risk creates downside for Jefferson's production outlook. The source notes there is at least some risk that Kyler won't be available for the entire season due to training camp concerns, which has direct downstream fantasy impact on Cardinals receivers.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveBreakout2:37

The source has warmed up on Kenneth Walker-type running backs in the current full PPR format; positioned as part of the elite first-round tier alongside other premium backs. The source explicitly identifies Kenneth Walker types as part of the first six picks in their ranking.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

NegativeInjury2:28

Training camp injury risk noted as a concern; there is at least some risk he may not be available for the entire season, which has downstream fantasy impact on Cardinals receivers like Justin Jefferson. The source indicates training camp seems to be presenting more injury risk than expected.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

PositiveValue25:00

The source prefers Lamar Jackson over available wide receivers at this draft juncture, viewing the quarterback as a superior value proposition. The speaker explicitly rejects drafting lower-tier wide receivers like Corey Tate in favor of Jackson, framing the quarterback selection as an 'experimental draft' choice that prioritizes elite quarterback upside over uncertain receiver production.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

PositiveValue9:49

Malik Nabers went about 10 spots ahead of ADP at pick 301, which the source views as a smart selection. Practice reports from Bobby Skinner and Jordan Ron are encouraging, and staying healthy could place him anywhere from pick 301 to 311, with potential to go in round two if he plays preseason snaps. Based on practice performance, Malik Nabers looks better than Rashee Rice and is infinitely better than Rice when accounting for off-field circumstances, suggesting meaningful upside relative to draft position.

Insight page

Mark Andrews

PositiveProjection13:13

Training camp reports on Mark Andrews have been poor, and tape evaluation was similarly unimpressive. While he remains a viable late-round dart throw due to touchdown upside (can catch 10 TDs despite poor play), target share and overall role projections suggest Zay Flowers will dominate the Ravens passing game, limiting Andrews' ceiling.

Insight page

Matthew Golden

PositiveRole36:15

Matthew Golden will play the X receiver spot (Romeo Dobbs' position) for the Packers. The source cites analysis suggesting Golden creates a dual-threat dynamic: he can line up over the middle like a traditional receiver but also has the threat of taking off for explosive plays. This combines Romeo Dobbs' slot reception volume with Golden's ability to generate explosive plays, positioning him to be involved in the Packers offense.

Insight page

Mike Evans

PositiveValue20:37

The source identified Mike Evans as a primary wide receiver one option in the draft, alongside Devonte Adams, indicating confidence in Evans at that tier.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveRole33:54

The source is warming up to Parker Washington after recent reports, noting he will be a SWAT-to-Z player who stays on the field. Travis Hunter is expected to play more snaps on the boundary, potentially affecting Jakobi Meyers snaps rather than Washington. Parker Washington can kick inside, positioning him as a core piece in the Colts passing game.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

PositiveValue3:15

Puka Nacua was included in the first six selections of the mock draft, positioned as an elite wide receiver in the first round of full PPR.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

NegativeRole20:00

Despite liking Quinchon Judkins as a player, the source explicitly notes he's not going to catch a lot of passes, limiting his pass-catching upside in PPR formats. This role limitation is cited as a reason to deprioritize him in favor of receiving-focused options like DJ Moore.

Insight page

Sam LaPorta

PositiveValue28:19

Tight end target in the seventh round; the source was actively eyeing Laaporta at this draft position but was unable to select him due to another team's pick.

Insight page
PositiveValue28:45

The source was actively targeting Sam LaPorta in the seventh round as a tight end value pick but was beaten to the selection by another drafter. The speaker's interest in LaPorta at this draft position suggests confidence in the tight end's value relative to his ADP, indicating he was viewed as an attractive target before being selected.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

PositiveProjection26:00

Saints WR1 off ACL tear; the source identifies a pathway for top-36 WR finish early in season if healthy. Route-based analysis shows Diggs moving significantly better than Zack Zeuerlein did with Jaden Daniels; per-route production last year coming off ACL was strong, supporting optimism on recovery. Also identified as planned stack partner with Jaden Daniels, available at a later draft round and representing good value when paired with the quarterback selection.

Insight page

Travis Hunter

PositiveBreakout40:57

Offensive buzz is building around Hunter in the Commanders offense; Shipley reports that Hunter is getting closer to 50% of offensive plays, suggesting significant snap share growth and potential breakout opportunity.

Insight page

TreVeyon Henderson

NegativeValue27:48

Trevon Henderson was drafted at 601st overall, just nine picks before Jaylen Stevenson (610th), reflecting their close ADP proximity. The source notes that updated rankings concluded these backs should be ranked much closer together, validating their proximity in this draft. However, the source projects both likely finish outside the top 15 running backs this season, with health being the primary differentiator.

Insight page

Trey McBride

PositiveProjection11:47

Trey McBride faces concerns about surviving increased target competition and potentially worse quarterback play this year; despite strong 2024 performance, he is falling in ADP (around pick 212 on Yahoo) and the source is not taking him at pick 31 overall.

Insight page

Xavier Worthy

NegativeBust38:12

The source ranks Xavier Worthy as wide receiver three (not two) and expects him to be one of the most avoided players in their draft strategy. Worthy's role is contingent on Rashid Rice's health status; in games where Rice played last season, Worthy averaged only 2.7 catches per game, indicating severely limited opportunity when Rice is available.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

PositiveProjection12:00

With a new contract and reset under new coaching, Zay Flowers needs only three to four additional red zone touchdowns beyond his 10 red zone targets last year to significantly elevate his fantasy value; doubling his red zone targets from 10 to 20 would create an entirely new fantasy lens on him. The source ranks him at ADP 34 and notes that with Jaylen Waddle injured and Isaiah Likely no longer a focal point, Flowers is positioned as the clear target beneficiary in the Ravens offense.

0:00Oh yes, it is mock draft day. Not just me, not just Hayden, not just producer Weaves, but nine of you. Yes, I sent out
0:08a feeler. I sent out a tweet and nine lovely people from this community, from our viewership joined in on this mock
0:15draft. It is full PPR. You've been asking for that. Two running backs, two wide receivers, and two flexs with no kickers in defense. Hayden, how you
0:23feeling?
0:23>> Feeling good. I see that we have Beef Candy has joined uh the mock craft with us. [laughter] Happy to have Beef Candy
0:28here. Uh yeah, full PPR. And then Josh, I was looking around the the draft board here and then in the dropdowns, I see
0:35that you could have our rankings individually right there on the site. So you guys can choose if you want Josh's rankings, my rankings, the consensus
0:43around Yahoo's rankings, or just, you know, the default rankings.
0:46>> Yeah, this this is why you need Yahoo Plus because you get to decide if you want to pick from Hayden's brain, or my
0:52brain. Uh and we get a notification every single time uh who picks who. So I better be in the lead of that one. Or,
0:59you know, you can pick from Harmon or Pianowski or Justin Smith at the same time. That might be that might be smart
1:04as well to get a different opinion than what we have. Yeah, I'm going to be zooming in and figuring out the draft
1:09board and everything else as we go along. We're about to kick off here. Um, some amazing names in this group. Stun a
1:15Goat Fins Up the Villa. Why Banana Elway again nine of you and if you autodraft, uh, you're banished to the Shadow Realm
1:23for eternity. So, that better not happen to those people. But, yeah, I can't wait to do this. Uh it's really our first
1:28draft I think together since maybe June.
1:31So uh we'll see. I mean we're going to talk through even more training camp updates that have happened since the last 24 hours that we have uh you know
1:39gone through an entire show. So uh this is going to be a good one to to figure out for sure. Since the vast majority of
1:44our conversation is about half PPR, how much does it change your strategy from the eight spot uh in full PPR?
1:50>> I think it's kind of twofold. It's also how many wide receivers/ flex spots do you have? If they're only starting two
1:55wide receivers, which is the Yahoo default, then that's makes the those wide receivers less valuable. If there's now in our league, we have four up to
2:03four wide receivers, up to four running backs, it kind of evens out. But a half PPR makes the quarterbacks devalued and
2:08then in the first round or so, you can kind of break ties like an Ammon Rob versus a Jonathan Taylor, like those
2:13type of things by all means. But still, there is some level of scarcity with the running back points in the first couple
2:19rounds. I mean, I think the seven spot might be the most difficult for me if I want to get one of those wide receivers
2:24that falls. But then the tear break typically for me is is it happens with the running backs on the board.
2:30>> Um, so I would love for Aman Rosen Brown to fall to the next spot, but if not, then I get one of the two sweet running
2:37backs. I I guess though from our conversation of like how we would view the top 15, then after this CMC John
2:43Taylor tier, but I guess maybe full PPR, you might put Justin Jefferson in that top spot too. Yeah, I think I'm moving
2:48Justin Jefferson down a little bit just because like there's at least some risk that Kyler's not going to be out there
2:52the the whole season just because of the training camp seems like to be a little bit more even than I was expecting. I
2:57still think it's going to be largely Kyler Murray. So, um I just really warmed up like the Kenneth Walker types out there. So, uh to me, these are the
3:04first six picks I think and then I would have Christian McCaffrey as the clear seventh best uh option in in full PPR.
3:12And then once you get after that, um I'm still probably going to be looking at Jonathan Taylor, eighth overall, even though he's not like a full PPR type. Um
3:21he still is really awesome uh in the format if the the Colts can keep moving.
3:25>> Yeah, I just took CMC the the first six as Hayden referred to. Jamir Gibbs, Jamar Chase, Bejan, Puka, Jason, and
3:31Aman R St. Brown. But we just talked about the 49ers. Uh, I mean, if more and more of them are already getting banged
3:37up, then that's just more and more of the stuff that continues to be funneled in CMC's direction, just like last year.
3:42>> Yeah, it's the same type of thing. We got dribbling. He's apparently back at practice. That's a that's a win. George
3:47KD is ramping up a little bit. Mike Evans still daytoday. And then obviously Debo Samuel looks, I think, all things considered, pretty good. So, uh, still a
3:56long ways away till week one. So, don't want to like completely um ignore training camp uh injuries, but also, you know, you don't get fantasy points on
4:04August 6th.
4:05>> As much as we would like to, we do not get fantasy points on August 6th. Okay.
4:10I guess I can ask that same strategy question from round one to round two as we're about to get into round two. By
4:17the way, producer Weeds is in the 11th spot here if you want to pay attention to the picks that he makes. Um, so often
4:23we love the running back running back starts. Does your mindset change here when we get a full point per reception?
4:28>> Um, a little bit, but nothing too much.
4:30Like if you're at the back half of of round one, early round two, it's it's pretty much all wide receivers. I think
4:37Brock Bowers becomes interesting. Uh, when we have two flexes like this, you can start up to four running backs.
4:41Like, by all means, if you can start four running backs, I still like that strategy as well. So, I think that's
4:46just it's it's not I'd say it's equally as important how many positions are starting as if it's half PPR versus full.
4:53>> Okay. as we go along here. It's not necessarily going to be exactly a pickby-pick conversation. I I do want to
4:59update some things that have happened over the last few days. And hey, I think number one is a player that we've talked
5:06about so often this summer that we are well above ADP on and that is Jaylen Wadd. Uh we got a, you know, practice
5:14video from the sidelines of him limping.
5:17Now, since then, Shawn Payeyton has come out and said it's just a strain and he should be back in practice in four or
5:22five days. But, uh, do you think that's an optimistic limit that coach Payton is putting things through?
5:28>> I mean, if he's returning in four or five days while he's limping, I would just say, what's the point of returning
5:33that quickly? This seems like maybe it could be a multi-week thing. But once again, it's still only August 6. Don't want to move him down too much. But
5:40these are the type of things as we get closer that I do want to start reacting to. Like when somebody has a legitimate
5:46injury right before the season and like uh I'm not concerned about Jaylen Waddler learning the playbook. He's a veteran. he's had all offseason to kind
5:53of figure that out. The timing and stuff, they'll get that all sorted out.
5:57But as we get closer, I just remember like the Darnell Mooney injury and stuff like some of these missing training camp
6:02is a big deal. We we have learned that over the last few seasons.
6:05>> Huge deal. So like I think like you missing one or two weeks, I don't think that's big as big of a deal. But if
6:09we're talking about like uh Kenyan Sadi for example, who's going to miss almost all of it up to week one and stuff and
6:15it's a it's a setback to an injury he's already been dealing with. I don't like these setbacks and missing time. Mai
6:21Lemon's kind of in that area, too. So, I think those are the bigger ones. The Jaylen Wadd is such a big deal because
6:26like I've been drafting him so much.
6:27>> Yeah. And specifically on Wadd, he has kind of been one of these players so far that even if he doesn't miss games, he
6:33does get banged up a lot, like leaves halfway through contests that >> uh he's one of these that you think if
6:38he could just stay healthy, he'd be so good. And then this happening right now, and we have four weeks until the season
6:42starts, right? So, there is some time, >> but we definitely just want him to be healthy as we go through. Okay. You did
6:47take Brock Bowers just before me. Why?
6:48Uh, I think in full PPR is the best time to be drafting Brock Bowers and especially in reddraft just because it's
6:54it can be so maddening try to playing the the touchdown or bust game uh every single week. And I think that there's a
7:00pretty clear drop off after the top eight tight ends in fantasy this year.
7:04Then you get into your like aging veterans uh or players coming off of injuries or sometimes both there. And I feel good about the top eight. Um, but
7:12uh I do think that Brock Bowers has like just as good of odds as like the Nico Collins, George Pickkins, AJ Brown types
7:18of having well over a thousand yards, 100 catches. Um, and I think that the drop off at tight end is pretty
7:25significant versus the wide receivers that you'd be getting in like rounds 7 8 9 10 11 12.
7:30>> I'm in a big dilemma with 10 seconds left. Amaran Hampton or Drake London?
7:34Um, I'm gonna go Drake London.
7:39I'm gonna go Drake London. Like I love the running back running back starts. I think I'm more optimistic than most people on Marian Hampton. Like I
7:46understand the flaws in his game, but just the system they say with Mike McDaniel, but at the same time, even if
7:52the Falcons are projected for low points, even if it is to a tongue of Aloa, I I do trust them enough to funnel
7:58so much in the direction of Drake London as an outside to inside player that if it was half PPR, I would have taken a
8:04Hampton. Since it's full, I am taking Drake London. Well, also we have Falcons defensive uh injuries where you one of their first round picks might not be
8:11able to play because you he's probably going to to prison eventually. And then their other one Jaylen Walker just tore his ACL. I'm very nervous about the
8:18Falcons in general. Like this team is could be picking in the top five. Their defense could not be nearly as good as
8:23it was this this previous season. And in that scenario, Drake London is going to catch a million passes.
8:28>> Okay, just to go through some double-ups here to start at the 12 spot, it's James Cook and Ken Walker. Weaves at the 11
8:36with Squan Barkley and Devon Achan >> love it.
8:39>> Justin Jefferson and Chase Brown, CD Lamb and Ashton Genty, Jonathan Taylor, Brock Bowers, Christian McCaffrey, Drake London, Aman Ross Brown and Nico JSN and
8:48AJ Brown. So, I I love that we have some of these starts that are two two running backs and then two two wide receiver
8:55starts. And we'll see how that pans out once we get to like that round four, five territory where you really are,
9:01>> you know, doubling up on the wide receiver or running back conversation and and doing some this then that statements for each. I think the
9:10interesting part around the beginning like of the the of the draft when you're deciding between Bejon versus Puka for example, a lot of the running backs do
9:19kind of dry up at the two-3 turn like in this one Derrick Henry does fall which is more likely to happen in full PPR but
9:25in half PPR he never falls that far. And you are kind of looking at a bunch of wide receiver Trey McBride at the two
9:31three turns. Like I want to rank Puka like first overall because I I think he's going to go absolutely crazy this
9:36year, but at the same time I know I'm going to have a bunch of wide receivers to pick at the 2-3 turn that I do think
9:42still taking Jir Gibbs and Bejon does make sense.
9:46>> Malik Neighbors just went about 10 spots ahead of ADP at the 301. Smart.
9:51>> Yeah, definitely smart. I feel more encouraged about this every single day.
9:54Uh I was listening to Bobby Skinner and and Jordan uh Ron and they like what they see at practice.
10:01>> It's one of those that even if he doesn't play like a single snap in preseason, that's fine. Like that might
10:07limit him from going in the second round, but just staying healthy could place him anywhere from I think like the 301 to the 311 where he is right now.
10:15>> Yeah. Just based off of what I've seen in practice, I think that Malik Neighbors looks a little bit better than
10:19Rashid Rice. And I know that Malik Neighbors is infinitely better than Rashid Rice. Um, >> well, one one got his rehab work in a
10:26training room and the other one got it in a jail cell.
10:29>> It does matter, I've heard.
10:31>> Yeah. I mean, again, the round two, three wide receivers are some of our favorites. And then the round four, five
10:36wide receivers are are some of our favorites as well. So, we'll see if I regret not taking a second running back
10:41here, but uh, you know, Franklin, not such a bad consolation prize. Um, I'm wondering, Nope, Javvante Williams. I think that's somewhat of the pickle that
10:50you get into someone who doesn't, you know, have a whole bunch of pass catching in their repertoire, but you did start off with JSN and AJ Brown out
10:58of the five slot here.
10:59>> Yeah, Javant's not going to add too many receptions this year. Jaylen Blues coming on, he didn't catch that many passes last year and was like extremely
11:04inefficient on them. You're drafting Javvante Lewis for all the touchdowns.
11:07Um, I think that he's still a good pick.
11:09He's typically goes a little bit later than this. I personally would rather have Bree Hall especially in full PPR see that he's going to be more involved
11:16in that area and like this is where it becomes interesting with the Trey McBride uh and Josh Allen of it all. I
11:22think that Brock Bowers is a tier above above those two options. But yeah, >> uh with Josh Allen, it's the consistency
11:29but the opportunity cost and then with Trey McBride, it's just can he survive even more target competition and probably even worse quarterback play
11:37this year. U but man, he was awesome last year. Yeah, I mean he's the falling name right now. He's going around the
11:42212 typically on on Yahoo and uh Trey McBride is still on the board here if pick 31 overall. Um and I'm not going to
11:51take him. I'm I'm still not taking Trey McBride here. I'm going to force you to make the decision if you want to go
11:56Brock Bowers and Trey McBride. Um >> I won't >> I'm going to go with S Flowers. Like I It's one of these things that you can
12:03talk yourself into and I already have of just a reset. And I'm not saying Todd Monkin was a bad play caller. he really
12:09transformed this offense. But Zay Flowers with a new contract, with new eyes on everything, and just with the lack of, you know, Isaiah likely and
12:17other tight ends on the roster here, like all Z Flowers has to do is score three or four more red zone touchdowns.
12:24And if he gets to like five or six, like just double up the 10 targets he got inside the red zone last year up to 20
12:30of them this year. And we have like a legit entirely new fantasy football lens that we've used a Flowers from.
12:37>> Yeah, I I totally agree with this. So, I feel very good about Z Flowers. 34 uh turn is is really where I I rank him. Uh
12:44there's so many wide receivers, but with like Jaylen Wadd injured, I would never pick Waddle over Z Flowers at this point. Same thing with like a Mecca, uh
12:51he still has to prove it a little bit more than Z Flowers. So, uh plus sign that huge contract, they got to make it
12:57uh look good. Um and I think that the difference would just be the touchdowns.
13:00>> And I'm not saying the touchdowns have to happen for him to have a good season.
13:03like he just has to return what he did last year to have a good season at his ADP. I'm saying to get him into the top
13:1010 scores at the position to get to double digit touchdowns, which he really hasn't come close to in previous years.
13:16>> The Mark Andrews reports out of training camp have not been good. I didn't think that his tape was very good. I still
13:21think Mark Andrews is like a fine enough dart throw if you're really punting it off just because he can catch 10
13:26touchdowns and not even be good and that's all you kind of need here. But in terms of like target share and stuff,
13:31it's really looking like it's going to be all Z Flowers in this offense.
13:35>> So, we talk about strategy a lot. We will talk about even more strategy as we go along this summer. Um, when you let
13:40the board come to you and when you have I think such a flexible roster construction here with two running backs, two wide receivers, and two flex
13:49here. I I think I am probably trending just knowing how boards typically fall to having like that running back two spot kind of be my weakness and loading
13:58up at my wide receiver, wide receiver, number one running back and then the two flex is probably at wide receiver.
14:03>> Yeah, there's a million ways to to I like these types of leagues where there's a lot of freedom uh to the
14:08construction.
14:09>> I love more flexes rather than locking you into like three wide receivers or >> it does make it more fun. It does make
14:14it more fun. Josh Allen's the one that's falling. His ADP is at 20th overall.
14:18This is the type of league when you're in full PPR adding an extra flex where his value does decrease uh the most. At
14:25some point here, we're going to be looking at players that you just don't feel great about. But, uh I think our
14:30our mock draft here is pretty sharp that he's the one that's falling right now.
14:33>> They're all listeners, Hayden. Like, we're we're in a tough spot here where they know all of our opinions. And uh
14:38like we talked about it all summer how Trent McBride's ADP should probably be closer to Coulson Lovelands than Brock Bowers. And then what happens here? It's
14:45a five spot or a four spot gap between Treving Pride and Coulson Love. Josh Allen just did go off the board here at
14:51the uh 403.
14:52>> Who took him? Is that Mr. Candy?
14:55>> Candy, [laughter] Justin Jefferson, Chase Brown, Chris Alave, and Josh Allen at the >> I like it. I like it.
15:01>> Yeah, I like it a lot, too. Uh just to go through some players that are still on the board here with the fourth pick
15:06of the fourth round. Kairen Williams, Garrett Wilson, T-Mac, Travis Achan, Terry McLaren. We're going off my rankings. No, that's composite rankings.
15:14that's pulled up. So, I have my rankings on a separate tab here.
15:17>> Yeah. So, I'm considering right now it's Kairen ETN and then uh Cam Scataboo or I can go with Garrett Wilson. I don't have
15:24a wide receiver. Do I really want to do Bree Hall and Garrett Wilson on the same team and it's starting to make me a
15:29little bit nervous right there thinking out loud. Um I will go with I'm gonna go with Kairen Williams. I think this one's
15:37really close >> uh between the between all of them. This is a good I think it's still a really good group of running backs. Like this
15:45is kind of dead zone profiles because that's where typically a lot of the worst running back selections have been kind of in this round. I don't know man.
15:51I I still think that the the Kairen Williams stuff even with Corm around there's still so much upside. Like he doesn't have even have to do as well as
15:58he did this last season to pay off this ADP.
16:00>> Yeah, I I was probably going to take Kron there. I can't. So, uh, I am gonna dip my toe in the Garrett Wilson waters
16:07and have him as my first flex spot here.
16:11My start just to go through this CMC Drake London Z Flowers, Garrett Wilson.
16:16And I've been trying to pull up the Ron Stewart tweets because you know that Ron Stewart has some good ones about how
16:21this is actually Garrett Wilson's time to shine uh versus in in previous years, but it's naming about like first read targets that Gino Smith has thrown and
16:29then Garrett Wilson and his first read targets and how successful he's been on those. And so, you know, >> despite the Adai Mitchell stuff at X and
16:37drafting Omar Cooper in round one and then Ken Sadi now missing camp, I really think so much is going to flow through
16:43Garrett Wilson here. And it's not just the short to intermediate stuff. He can also win down the field too.
16:47>> You are certainly winning the target share uh league right here. Four picks.
16:53>> One of the categories is uh >> target share leaders per week getting extra plus five.
16:57>> I mean we are very close for real drafts to be based off of expected fantasy points and [laughter] target share and
17:02like firmly just like spreadsheets fantasy.com. It's probably actually not a bad business idea if any if any of you guys want to build it.
17:09>> I love that. Uh and talking through yours, you have the exact opposite of me. Basically, you are Jonathan Taylor, Brock Bowers, Bree Hall, Kairen Williams
17:18heading into a PPR draft. Hayden, would you expect to not have a single wide receiver through four rounds?
17:23>> When the board fall to me, I'm going to take my fantasy points from last year uh and hopefully that Bree Hall um and
17:30Brock Bowers can just have better environments around them. But I still think that in full PPR when we're talking about two flex spots, like
17:36gobbling up a bunch of these running backs, um it's going to make the rest of the room feel real nervous about who
17:41they're starting in their flex. I think still in full PPR, Kairen Williams is going to outscore a lot of the wide
17:46receivers around them. Um, and you can any of these running backs, Cam's Sky, but these guys just project more straight up. So, when extra flex spots,
17:54I lean towards running backs even more.
17:56>> Yeah, I'm going to be nervous about who I'm going to start my running back two spot. But, uh, maybe I won't. We'll
18:00we'll we'll figure that out as we go along. Yeah, I I was nervous that you and I were drafting back toback here,
18:04but doing two opposite strategies, I think, makes it all worth. All right, since my pick Tyler Warren, Travis Han, Luther Burton, Terry McLaren, Roma
18:12Dunay, and Cam Scataboo. I would say of that group, if we're just looking at Yahoo ADPs, uh Rome at the 411 when in
18:21half PPR, he's going at the 68. Hayden is the first and I would say biggest quote unquote reach so far.
18:27>> Yeah, he might be drafting off the Matt Harmon ranks or my rankings there. Uh I think that this is justifiable even if
18:33it's a little bit earlier. Um, I'm hoping that you guys can draft Roman Dunes later than this. But in full PPR,
18:39man, he was he was wide receiver, 18 in targets per game last year. You just got to catch more of them, but that's what
18:44we should expect with Caleb and those guys uh entering second year of the system, young players.
18:47>> Yeah, I mean, again, I'm just so focused on my team that like there's this glut of running backs coming up, hay, that's
18:54DeAndre Swift, David Montgomery, Quinn Sean Judkins, Bucky Irving, Bejo Tutin, and in whatever order. And I'm going through my head of okay, what's the cut
19:02off that I'm willing to still push running back with a wide receiver on the board and Christian Watson would have been that. And I think there was a
19:10chance that he was still going to make it back to me at the 57, but uh since he just went at the 5-1, um I mean this is
19:15a loaded team. Jamir Gibbs, Rashi Rice, Malik Neighbors, Cam, Scataboo, Christian Watson. Uh that's like a mix of our favorites there.
19:21>> They are uh let's see how many games they play would be be the the one problem with that. But uh we don't we
19:27can't predict injuries and as long as you can keep saying that that team looks awesome.
19:30>> Still remaining on the board, DeAndre Swift, Devonte Adams, Lamar Jackson, Dave Montgomery, Quinn Sean Judkins, Mike Evans, DJ Moore, Bachel Tutin. Uh
19:42this is this is when it gets tight, you know. Oh, Drake May just went as quarterback, too.
19:46>> Yeah, we have a stacking. So that's the thing. Do you push Drake May another round? Are you willing to not stack up
19:52AJ Brown? that to me those type of uh type of decisions I would push quarterback in a full PPR extra spot
19:59even I acknowledge stacking is important I would just see there's a chance Drake May falls to you and you don't have to
20:04stack your quarterback uh every single time >> well frozen Tundra just made the decision for me it was between Bashial Tutin and one other name uh because if
20:12I'm honest as much as I love Quinchon Judkins uh he's not going to catch a lot of passes and while I like DeAndre Swift
20:18um I'm gonna take DJ MOORE HERE. WOW. I wanted him. I wanted DJ Moore. Why? Why him versus Swift? Cuz now I'm I'm on the
20:28clock and like if I'm [laughter] really going to fill out my flex spot with a fourth running back here. Um this Yeah,
20:35this is where you're really starting to push it. Um it it's Mike Evans, Devonte Adams as my wide receiver. One is kind
20:41of where it's at. Um you know what? I'm going to do >> really The only reason I did it, Hayden, was uh to put you in this situation.
20:47That's why I did it.
20:48>> You think I care, dude? I'm going DeAndre Swift, man. This is this is about applying the pressure.
20:53I feel really good about my flex spots being Kyrie Williams, DeAndre Swift. Uh and this is where I think only having
21:00two wide receivers, like a bunch of my next picks are obviously going to be wide receiver here. Uh and then I just
21:05got to hit on two sleepers here. Uh I'm really hoping Parker Washington comes back.
21:10>> H he will not. I thought I thought you might have jumped the olds even if your ranks don't say it cuz sometimes that
21:16happens, right? Like sometimes as you're building a team and it doesn't necessarily fall exactly how it does, you don't want to rely on Mike Evans and
21:24Devonte Adams playing 17 games and instead you might have taken like Parker Washington in that spot instead.
21:30>> Yeah. The the one caveat to that is when there's only two wide receiver spots, I'm like almost more willing to take on
21:35risk cuz like you just need to find one more option there. Um, I think in general, just looking at the ADP
21:42landscape, there's so many sleeper wide receiver types like the Josh Downs. I'll throw Matthew Golden in there. Pick a Xavier Worthy if you don't love the
21:50profile.
21:51>> I'm I'm at this draft with with Xavier Worthy as your wide receiver, too, please.
21:56>> No, no, no, no, no. We will not release those screenshots. Do not release the tapes. [laughter] Uh, this is one of
22:02these situations where I I need like four or five wide receivers in a row here and then we're going to hit on two
22:08of them. Luckily, you have like Tyson upside swings and you have Alec Pierce has done it before. There's I'm not panicking yet. [laughter]
22:15>> I'm laughing at myself because this might be the shortest stint ever at Yahoo if we release our first draft at
22:21Yahoo and Xavier Worthy is your wide receiver, too. And and they just fire us. They just let us go.
22:26>> Honestly, they should. [laughter] >> They should.
22:30>> They should. I do get excited, you know, in in the Yahoo lobby when it's has, you know, the the your turn line and like
22:38there are two names right below that that I would really really love to take and I'm just hoping that it doesn't get
22:44reordered until then. And it just did.
22:46It just did with one of the picks that happened.
22:48>> The longer this training camp goes along, Hayden, the more and more and more I'm into Jadarian Price.
22:54>> Why?
22:55Because when you think about it, we're talking about George Hani in like pure passing situations. And I think that's even a different
23:06discussion that we got of the Kin Walker, Zack Sharbonet stuff last year.
23:10And for sure, it might be an organizational structural thing where they're like, "Hey, we need to keep our best runner fresh at the end of the
23:18season for their playoff run." But at the same time, I also feel like Jarian Price versus George Helani is a much
23:25bigger gap than how they perceive the backfield of Ken Walker and Zack Charbanet. And especially that Ken Walker would get them to the 15 to the
23:3510 yard line and would come Zack Char. I doubt they put George Harlani in in those situations and Jarian Price would
23:41just be able to continue running it in from the 10 versus the 15 that K9 didn't get last year.
23:47>> Yeah. Yeah, to me it's not about the first couple weeks or months of the season. To me, it's once Zack Charban
23:52gets involved, then are we just in a situation where I don't think that Price is going to be as good as Ken Walker and
23:57then you're in that kind of same situation where you're splitting carries and goal line stuff. Um, and Sharp is way bigger than Price. So, uh, Price
24:05could just be so good that he's going to run away at the job and then even when Sharp comes back or, uh, it it's not
24:10going to matter. I think that he's like appropriately priced, but he's not one of these guys that I want to steam up
24:15the draft board. Um, keep in mind like you're losing Clint Kubak. There's a chance that the Seahawks, you know, >> totally
24:20>> they score six, seven fewer points per game.
24:23>> Well, that would be a lot. Six or seven fewer points would be >> I mean, I think they average almost 30
24:27or something including they were rolling.
24:29>> They did.
24:29>> Yeah. And like if you take an individual standpoint from each of their players, like the offensive line just individually doesn't have rock stars at
24:36each spot, but they played like a cohesive unit last year, too. Um, it's a fascinating team to watch this year, that's for sure. Okay, you're almost on
24:45the clock here. Your thoughts.
24:47>> I'm looking at the wide receivers and then I have >> talk about the wide receivers that are still available. It's like,
24:54>> well, it's now I'm looking at Lamar Jackson versus wide receivers that you just like don't feel very confident about and you're like, I'm almost
25:00willing to push these wide receivers once again. Like, am I really going to draft Carell Tate over Lamar Jackson?
25:05Like, that that seems insane to me. Uh, and in fact, we're going to take this is an experimental draft. Let's see if you
25:10guys like it. I'm taking Lamar Jackson.
25:12Well, I was gonna take him with the next election because I have Z Flowers.
25:15>> Well, you you sniped me the round the previous. So, if you want to powers DJ more shows together. Nope, not doing
25:22that. Um, yeah. I mean, I I think this is the perfect territory to stop pushing quarterbacks because again, we're getting into like the Jaylen Warren
25:30versus an elite quarterback here. Now, I think the big discussion is who is the next quarterback off the board after Drake May and Lamar Jackson. Is it Joe
25:37Burrow? Is it Jaden Daniels? Is it Jaylen Herz? fair conversation.
25:42>> I have them pretty much all back to back and I'm just letting who I've drafted before dictate to uh dict that to to me
25:48and then also if just one of the guys are falling. I don't I think I might like Jaden Daniels the best, but that's
25:56really really close. Um and with with Jaden and then with Jaylen Herz of that mix, you can at least draft, you know,
26:03Mai Lemon after Dallas Goddard after where with Joe Burrow, there's nobody else to stack with you. The players are already drafted ahead of you. Like it's
26:10those type of decisions, but to me, this is the line. Like look at the wide receivers and running backs around it.
26:14Like this is where I think quarterback gets interesting.
26:16>> Totally. Uh I went with Jaden Daniels.
26:18>> I might regret that and want to take Joe Burrow, but I did not have Jamar Chase and I did not have T. Higgins. I did not
26:24have Chase Brown.
26:25>> That's what I would have done, too.
26:26>> I'm gonna go with Jaden Daniels and and maybe get some Stefon Digs a bit later on.
26:30>> I like that a lot.
26:31>> See, three in a row here. Uh Frozen Tundra just took Joe Burrow on top of that. So yeah, I mean the one
26:38quarterback versus Superflex drafting, I think this year more than any other might have the biggest difference in terms of where quarterbacks are going
26:46because there are legit, you know, 24 quarterbacks and at least 12 that are good. And so like >> in your home leagues, if these
26:55quarterbacks go much earlier, we keep talking about it. You can push it to the Kyler Murray's of the world. you can
27:01push it to someone in that vicinity unless they get pushed to the sixth round like here and then the values just
27:08don't make sense taking you know skilled players over that quarterback.
27:11>> I it's a good point. This these mock drafts like expert mock drafts and then obviously all you guys are are sharp
27:17here. The quarterbacks go much later than typical in like your against your high school buddies. So that those are like the big exceptions of like you know
27:25when I'm advising punt quarterback in general that's because all these quarterbacks were gone in the fourth round which I really like you know the
27:32players that we just drafted over them but in a situation like this this is to me is like the appropriate cost where I
27:38think the best picks were the quarterbacks just skating the draft board Trevon Henderson went at the 601 Stevenson at the 610. We just did one of
27:48our I guess it was they all run together. The updated rankings episodes and one of our big conclusions was they should be ranked much much closer
27:58together and here they are drafted much much closer together.
28:00>> Yeah, I'm expecting that to continue. I don't think that anything about the training camp is necessarily going to lean towards Trayvon. It seems like
28:06Raandre is still catching some passes.
28:08He's better in pass protection because he's, you know, there's just a mass thing that's required in pass protection. And then I just don't think
28:14that Trayvon's ever going to be the goal line answer over Raandre for the same exact reason. So, uh I think they should
28:19be pretty close together. I think mo ultimately I think the most likely scenario is both of them finish outside the top 15 this year. Uh and then
28:26whoever just stays healthier is the better one to pick. Uh but I think their ADPs should be pretty close together.
28:31>> Yeah, they're two rounds apart in half PPR Yahoo leagues right now. Uh typically Trevon's going in the fifth round, Raandre is going in the seventh
28:40round, and here they both go in the sixth round. Makes sense. Um, I was really eyeing Sam Laaporta here in the
28:45seventh round, but uh, Fins Up, Fins Up got me. Uh, but I think this might be a tight end round for me, Hayden. There
28:52there's a lot of picks on the board that I really like.
28:54>> Yeah, this this is a great range for the tight ends and it's kind of to me last call. There's only the top eight that I
28:59feel good about and then after that, I'm just going to wait as long as I can. And I I typically don't like to do that um
29:07in in reddraft leagues, full PPR leagues. Like to me, this is where, you know, Harold Fannon's never looked better than if he's on the on the clock
29:14right here.
29:15>> Still rushing to get that running back.
29:17Uh, still do not have a starting lineup out there yet, but >> but we'll see. Yeah, a big dilemma for me once I get on the clock for a lot of
29:25leagues is going to be Harold Fenan versus Cal Pittz. One obviously younger than the other.
29:30>> Um, >> obviously Stfansky coached one guy and now he gets the other one. Um, I think my rankings have it right now. Fannon
29:38over pits. I might flip that. I might flip that.
29:41>> Yeah, I think it depends on the format for me. I think that fan is going to catch still a bunch of passes. Um, but
29:46that one's really close.
29:47>> The decision was made for me. Cal Pittz just went to a stiff arm at the 705.
29:54Chris Godwin. Hayden, I feel like we've talked about 300 players this summer. We have not said one phrase about Chris Godwin who just went at the 704. Is
30:03there a phrase you would like to say about Chris Godwin? I didn't think that he looked right last year and um I'm a
30:08little bit nervous about that because there's so many injuries and they're very serious injuries and I liked what I saw from a Mecca and he's getting into
30:14uh a better role and more underneath role. So I think there's a lot of competition. Reports out of Jaylen McMillan's uh camp have been positive.
30:21He's missing a little bit of time here, but not nothing I'm concerned about. So I've not been drafting a bunch of Chris
30:26Godwin. There is also the the narrative of just, you know, the slot wide receiver in this offense has been uh really good. I think that's more of the
30:33the Acha Ibuka position more so than the slot, but um I understand it.
30:38>> You know, when he came back last year, there were just a bunch of passes that fell off his hands on like extended
30:45grabs along the sideline and I thought he was kind of moving okay, >> but then again, he came back from injury
30:50after he rushed it the first time and he still wasn't productive. So, it's a weird one. like I can totally envision a
30:56bounce back and then I could also see him like hitting this decline after this injury and I don't know what outcome it
31:02is and he's one of the hardest and most difficult players for me to rank right now.
31:05>> Yeah, I just there's too many young players around him that I would rather take shots on. Um you know so I haven't
31:11drafted >> uh if I really wanted to get a running back then I would push here for Tony Pard and Chuba Hubard. That's not really
31:18what I want to go into this doing. So I'm going to take uh Harold Fannon here as my tight end. I like that a lot. Um,
31:25I'm pretty much forced into a wide receiver here. I don't have one. The rest of my starting lineup is is filled
31:29out. So, I'm debating between Jordan Tyson, Quinton Johnson. Those are the the top two guys >> in my uh list here. Tough call. I think
31:39I'm going to go with Jordan Tyson. I think that he has, you know, just like this kind of theoretical upside that I
31:45really do need to hit. He's out there in training camp. He he was not my favorite prospect, but he's also not being
31:50drafted in a spot where he had to be my favorite prospect. I still I still really like Jordan Tyson's film and
31:56stuff. I was kind of boom bust. Look, I need a boom. So, he's he seems like a pretty good guy for me.
32:01>> Well, I think when in doubt and when when trying to win your league, like go with the rookie in this spot. And I
32:07think they're doing a really good job of managing his snaps from what I can tell from Underh Hill tweets and stuff. Like
32:11they're not asking him to go full go every day in practice. They're saying, "Okay, we know you have a history of X,
32:17Y, and Z, and so you're going to take some drills off or some days off here and there, and uh treat them as like a
32:23veteran in some instances, which I I think is really smart.
32:26>> It's smart. Also, one of the benefits of this offense is first a neutral pace.
32:30This been a Kell Moore staple for a long time. There's a chance Jordan Tyson plays a little bit of slot in this
32:34offense uh as well, and that's been another kind of through line with the Kell Moore offenses." So, um, lot lots of good stuff from from Nick Underh Hill
32:42about the Saints offense right now.
32:44Yeah, it has sounded like that the Saints defense has dominated the offense in a lot of practices, which may not be totally shocking. Like he's
32:54saying that there's a lot of new pieces.
32:55I'm not sure exactly what the new piece is other than Jordan Tyson and Travis Han. like everyone else has kind of just
33:01been there other than the left guard and David Edwards, but um as we have seen, it's not always the case that a
33:07struggling offense during the preseason, Allah, Caleb Williams, and the Bears last year, then takes that into the regular season.
33:13>> Yeah, still we're barely started stuff.
33:16Yeah, barely started with it.
33:19>> Four weeks away. Uh still on the board right now, Justin Herbert, Juba Hub, Trevor Lawrence, Dak Prescott, QJ, Josh DS, and we go on from there. You
33:28mentioned that this is going to happen at some point this summer. No surprise it happens with our audience. Jonathan Brooks was just selected over Chew
33:36Hubard.
33:36>> Yeah, I think in full PPR is going to play more of the pass down work. As long as he stays healthy, it's I think a true
33:41tossup here, so not surprising. Their ADP should be pretty close together, though.
33:45>> Okay, let's go through producer Weeds' team. He's in the 11th spot. Okay.
33:49Saquon, Devon Achan, Jaylen Waddle, Coulson Lovelin, Parker Washington, Quinn Sean, Justin Herbert, Quinton Johnston. Uh, I think I'd rather be in
33:59the 11th spot than the seventh spot.
34:01>> This team looks good. The the Herbert to to QJ stack right there. Um, Parker Washington, somebody I'm really warming up to, uh, after everything I'm reading
34:10there. Uh, saw a report out of um, from Shipley talking about he's not going to come off the field, he's going to be a
34:16SWAT to Z player. Um, and then, uh, Travis Hunter is gonna play more snaps, but it sounds like that's gonna come on
34:23the boundary, which to me could mean a little bit of Jacobe Myers because Parker Washington can kick inside. That could come at the expense of Brian
34:30Thomas, but does not sound like it's coming at the expense of Mr. Parker Washington.
34:34>> I just had a dilemma. Uh, Chuba Hubard versus JK Dobbins. I don't know if I loved either pick. I did go with Chuba
34:40over JK Dobbins. Would you have made that same pick?
34:42>> That's how I have it in my rankings still. Um, but I do think they're very similar in type in their terms of the
34:48profile. They've had nice runs before.
34:51Um, then they kind of get banged up and things don't look uh the same. Um, Harvey versus Jonathan Taylor or Jonathan Brooks. I think that Brooks is
34:59probably a better player. Um, so I do think those two like tandemss there should be probably picked pretty close to each other. I think the Panthers
35:08one's a little bit better because they don't have like an established RB3 where we know that Shawn Peyton wants to get
35:13an RB3. Uh, and Stefon Diggs off the street and into your starting lineup as your wide receiver, too.
35:19>> Yeah, just how you draw it up. Uh, Jordan Tyson, Steph Diggs [laughter] as your wide receiver, one, too. Uh, I was
35:24thankful that he was still available. I I do think that early in the in the year, as long as he stays healthy, I do
35:30think there's a pathway for him being a top 36 wide receiver. Terry McLuren's never been like a true volume uh dependent uh type of player. Uh, we
35:38watched Zack Z. I mean, you remember the Zack Z with Jaden Daniels? How many underneath catches did that guy have?
35:44Uh, and Steph Diggs was moving way better than the Zachary stuff. So, I do think that like I'm taking the Steph
35:50Diggs stuff seriously on a per uh route basis last year coming off an ACL tear.
35:54He was pretty dang good. Um, so I I think he's got plenty of energy coming off that boat and uh I think that he's
36:01just a a nice pick right now.
36:03>> I think our Yahoo rankings, which by the way in the description down below, are getting a big update today. So, I can't
36:08wait for those because uh I'm still hoping that there's a certain player here in in round nine at running back that's going to fall to me. Oh, Matthew
36:15Golden just went off the board right next to Jordan Addison, which is a very interesting uh one-two combo there.
36:21Yeah, I mean, does the scoring matter for Matthew Golden versus half PPR and full PPR or is that just reading into it
36:28too much?
36:28>> No, I was listening to Justice Mosca and other Packers reporters trying to get to the bottom of it. He's going to be
36:34playing the ex receiver spot. That's the Romeo Dobs rule. Their analysis of that was just what if we had Romeo Dobs
36:41receptions like over the middle, but now you have the threat of him taking off for explosives. So, I think Matthew Cole's going to be involved. What
36:48happened?
36:49>> Bill just went off the board. Needed Bill. Needed Bill on my team to, you know, Dr. Frankenstein, that running back two spot with with Chuba Hubard.
36:57Um, I I think people might get a bit over their skis on, you know, the the clips that we've seen of training camp
37:04of him catching passes. To me, it's more notable if he's not just a total liability not catching passes. Like, if he can just prove that he is serviceable
37:12out there and it's not a total tell when he's on the field that it's a run, then that's a big deal. Uh, and I think Ben
37:17Stan has done a great job of covering that for the Commander so far.
37:20>> I think you should draft both of them.
37:22you know, the Commander offense is better than a lot of the um backfields that we're talking about where there's two running backs going ahead of both of
37:30them. Like the Steelers, for example, as when the Panthers like the Commanders probably a better team than those and the running backs are going behind them
37:36and we haven't heard anything from Kron Allen, like move both of them up. That's what I just did.
37:40>> That that's what I just took is was Rashad White here. If Bill went earlier than Rashad White, especially in full
37:44PPR, um I'm happy with Rashad White there because he has ranked, and this is the most obvious statement ever, higher for me in full than he is in half.
37:51>> I promise you I wouldn't have Xavier Worthy as my wide receiver, too. I got him as my wide receiver three.
37:56>> You're one round away from us getting fired after 10 days on the job.
38:01>> I was considering him versus Jaden Reed versus um >> somebody else that just won.
38:06>> Why Xavier Worthy over Jaden Reed? Like that that actually surprises me. just because I think that the Rashid Rice stuff is um very uncertain and um I
38:16think they're going to get Xavier Worthy back into the role that he had as a rookie in that there was some screen
38:22involvement. There was some underneath stuff. There's some crossing routes where I think last year uh they didn't trust him staying healthy. Uh it's a
38:28it's a dice roll here. Obviously, >> is he healthy now?
38:30>> Dice roll. And we're talking about way late in the draft. I'm [laughter] gonna be taking more dice rolls here in a
38:36second. I think Xavier Worthy might end up, especially if I'm drafting with you, uh, as one of my most avoided players.
38:41>> Yeah.
38:42>> And that that can be totally wrong. And yeah, you're definitely banking on Rashy Rice not being 100% if you're taking
38:48Xavier Worthy. We keep citing this, but Erolano posted that in games where Rashi Rice has played, Xavier Worthy has averaged 2.7 catches per game.
38:55>> He was banged up in a lot of them. This is it's like kind of contingentbased upside at this point. Um, I think in my
39:01first couple weeks here, he would not be in my my starting lineup for sure. Yeah, I mean this is already the part of the
39:06board where your draft falls off a cliff. I got to be honest. Um it's a bunch of the quarterbacks that some
39:12people be taking late for their starter.
39:15Then it's like Jordan Mason, Don Concincaid, Travis Kelce, Isaiah Likely, Juan Dale. You keep going on and I'm down the list. But
39:25>> and this is what we're talking about with the quarterbacks. Like if you're waiting on quarterbacks, a lot of the best picks on the board are still the
39:31quarterbacks and you can kind of doubleclick two quarterbacks in this range. So I think especially when the quarterbacks go earlier uh than what we
39:38had in this mock draft. I love just pick any of them. Stafford, Kyler, pick any combination. Dart with uh Jordan Love. I
39:46think Jared Goff has a chance to lead the league in passing yards. Like double clicking quarterback in this range is is
39:51awesome. like uh you know the 11th and 12 spot here are going to have this or that with Justin Herbert and Jane Reed
39:59versus Mai Lemon and Trevor Lawrence for example.
40:02>> Um the Mai Lemon pick I think is very early at the 712 at this spot in preseason when we haven't heard from him
40:07very much.
40:08>> Yeah, I I'm nervous about Mai Lemon to start the season. I think that he was an awesome prospect and you can figure
40:13things out. It's just this offense you have to be in two wide receiver sets.
40:16We'll see.
40:17>> Uh I'm going to take the falling Jacobe Myers. I'm I'm a big Parker Washington guy. Uh I know you also love BTJ on top
40:24of it, but uh it's not lost on me that Jacobe was the one that settled everything once he arrived last year and
40:30then they gave him an extension uh before hitting free agency. So I think Jacobe there's still a role for him to
40:36be played. I do think the X-actor in all of this and this buzz is building a little bit and we don't want to be the
40:42boys who cried wolf but the uh Travis Hunter offensive buzz speak on it. So, I was listening to Shipley and he thinks
40:49there's a chance like Travis Hunter is getting closer to like 50% of offensive plays and they said that in general he's
40:55playing way more offense than they were expecting. When I listening I listen to everything Shipley post and typically that was like at 20%. Uh now they're
41:04like that it's just going up and up and up and he he looks absolutely jacked.
41:07He's probably going to be able to survive both uh sides of the ball and maybe on defense he plays like 80% of
41:13the snaps and like it gets a little bit closer. Um, and he's gonna be winning down the field, which is the role that
41:19he >> That's my point. That That's my point.
41:21Like, I know there's some talk of him taking away from Jacobe in that area.
41:25What if he's taking away from Brian Thomas Jr.?
41:27>> I think it's possible in in that uh podcast that I keep talking about. They both agreed the most likely scenario for
41:35Brian Thomas is he exits after the season.
41:39>> Yep. and they'll just take the compensation the third round uh uh compensation uh pick uh compensatory pick and that they're probably not going
41:48to resign him. So if if you're kind of like reading between the lines and Travis Hunter just dominating, maybe there is a little bit more of a rotation
41:54between those two.
41:55>> Why why would Brian Thomas Jr. though have to exit after >> maybe it's the the year after that? like just that he's not
42:04>> to me he would be like a perfect trade candidate if Travis Hunter is playing and knowing where to line up and balling
42:10that he can be, you know, in the three wide receiver sets as the X and winning down the field and they can flip Brian
42:17Thomas Jr. to like the Las Vegas Raiders or something like that.
42:20>> Yeah, I definitely misspoke. I think what you said is possible. I think they're just saying in general Parker Washington's going to get the extension
42:26and that eventually Brian Thomas will not get the extension. He will just walk. And in that scenario, you can start seeing that, okay, maybe Brian
42:32Thomas is at 80% of the snaps instead of 100.
42:35>> When are we going to start talking about Travis Hunter on offense again?
42:38>> Um, probably this next pick. If you don't take him, I'm taking him. I need him. [laughter] >> I mean, he looks freaking yolked, man.
42:48He really >> And I just can't get over that the season was ripped away from him last year. Now, like to open it, he he
42:55truly didn't know where to line up, right? and they were running him on the slot stuff, the underneath stuff, the screens, whatever. The the gimmicks,
43:03but then like the downfield snap that he had against the 49ers, the Jaguars don't win that game without that. The downfield stuff he had against the
43:09Chiefs, the Jaguars do not win that game without that. And these are tough contested grabs.
43:14>> Oh yeah.
43:15>> And then I'm going to bring up what the Rams garbage time stuff because that is what it is. But during that week, it was
43:22like, oh, now we're going to build our passing attack around this guy. He's going to get the wide receiver one treatment and then the injury happens
43:28and then the move for Jacobe it makes.
43:30So like I am 100% leaving the door open for Travis Hunter playing off.
43:35>> I think he's going to average like two yards per route run. Um and when he's on the football field on offense, he's like
43:40going to get the the football more so than if he was a full-time player. And I think that he doesn't even have to play
43:46all the snaps to matter. Like here's just a perfect example uh in like the ADP landscape uh on on this. He's
43:55sandwiched between Tyreek Hill, Isaac Teslaw, Rasheed Shahee, Jawan Jennings.
43:59Like these are the guys in the ADP uh on Yahoo. It's like I mean what are we even doing here? Like the by far the best
44:06wide receiver in real life available without question is Travis Hunter. So let's roll.
44:11>> I thought you might have said Rashad Jennings. Uh and I was like the guy who retired years ago.
44:16>> Yeah.
44:17>> Um I'm about to take someone who has not had his ADP updated yet. Uh, and as much as I do want to take Travis
44:25Hunter, I'm just going to take Deshawn Strippling here.
44:29>> And I I love this pick in this area, 11-7. It wouldn't surprise me at all. I know he has to get back to practice, but
44:36uh if he winds up in like the 10th round coming up soon, there's some anchor bias going on of people hating on Deshawn
44:42Strippling and being a shock that he was a 33rd overall pick. Hopefully you tune in to our channel with Dane Burgger that
44:47week where he said, "Hey, the football bubble's going to be shocked of how early he's going to go." And um he has
44:54flaws to his game, don't get me wrong, but he also has like a willingness to get after it and he could be the best
45:00blocker in this class too. And we know like that has been one of the reasons why young wide receivers have been kept
45:05off the field by Cal Shanahan. I don't think he has that problem. And like if you just zoom out in any other draft
45:12class and really any other name, if the 33rd overall pick got thrusted into the wide receiver 2 role and he was
45:19competing against a 32 and 30year-old for it that have missed time with injury over the last few years, people would be
45:26going freaking nuts and then no one gives a [ __ ] because it's Deshawn Strippler.
45:29>> Also, it's the 49ers, too. It's like not even like that he went to some scrub offense. Like we're talking about
45:33>> that might be part of the negative because they don't like how Kyle drafts.
45:37Brand was a hit in that range until he wasn't.
45:40>> I did have a question to ask you because even through all of our research and you know talking about 22 situations
45:48yesterday, I missed that Jaylen McMillan has a knee injury and his timeline is like uncertain. Like they don't know when he's going to return. Like that
45:58that's a pretty big deal here.
45:59>> I I thought that was borderling on on on fake news. He got he banged his knee on somebody else. like wasn't like some
46:07like non-cont injury expected to come back like the next week or so and he seems he seems fine. They just said like
46:12they don't know exactly what it is but that's just like Todd Bull's you know Todd Bull's lied to us about the Bucky
46:18uh stuff.
46:19>> This is true. Okay, you're on the clock.
46:20>> Okay, I think I've drafted enough wide receivers in a row where I could go somewhere else. Um let's see.
46:25>> Is there anyone that you want?
46:27>> Um man, I think I'm going to just take I'll take Matthew Staf. I'll take the MVP of the the of the league um this
46:35late in the draft.
46:36>> A second quarterback.
46:38>> I think this is a year to be drafting a second quarterback. Um just because there's a big fall off and uh I these
46:45quarterbacks are going to be really really strong. So, uh who knows? Like I could I can trade Lamar Jackson for a
46:50wide receiver uh once the season starts if this wasn't a mock draft. So, I think that at a certain point, you know, the
46:56MVP of the league should probably go ahead of Marshon Lloyd as much as I'd like him. Uh, and like that's kind of
47:00like the range that we're getting to now.
47:02>> Uh, I almost took Tyron Tracy just to bank on Cam Scaboo doing a backflip that doesn't land over the next four weeks. I
47:09decided against that and I went with Alvin Chimera. Uh, again, some of the reports of how tight the snaps have been
47:14in certain situations out of the Saints camp. Obviously, Travis Achan is going to play a lot and get a lot of the work.
47:22And I am not one of the people that got so concerned after the quote that hey that's going to be the early down guy
47:29and then the third and fourth down guy is going to be Alvin Chimera because as you and I outlined 35 of the 36 A chain
47:37receptions last year happened on first and second down.
47:40>> I think Chimera is draftable. I think he's draftable. Um >> thanks.
47:45>> I think he's draftable as far as I'll go.
47:48>> Thanks really likes Miller. Yeah. No, full PPR. You know, this is this is where he should be drafted.
47:55>> Well done.
47:55>> Thank you. Thank you. I appreciate it.
47:58>> Uh we do have just three more two more rounds after this. Um and without kickers and defense, you know, things get really tight towards
48:06the end of year. So, uh this is a truly take your favorite player at the spot.
48:10like maybe I should have stuck with that and despite you know the Stefon Dig signing gone with Chico Quanquo and just
48:17an unlocked ceiling for him with a you know David Blau offense that we just didn't know was possible because again this is the area where tight ends just
48:25truly might outscore the wide receivers and running backs >> definitely. So we got two flex spots where you can start throwing them in
48:31during the by-weeks. Um this probably be my last pick up ahead. Just wanted to recap my draft real quick where I have
48:37to before I have to run. Uh, typically you're not going to take four wide receivers that or four running backs as
48:41early as I did, but I do think by the time this draft's over, I took enough upside swings where I can at least
48:47figure it out. And like I think if you are going to punt it off like I did here, you just want to take five dart
48:52throws like really. So like I think Tyson's one, Diggs is definitely one worthy Michael Wilson, Travis Hunter, and then I would just take two more here
48:59at the end. Um, and to me, whatever position you draft in the first couple rounds, just, you know, draft the other
49:05positions later. Um, and I think that this was as far as I would ever push that, but I do think I actually um feel
49:10okay with this team.
49:11>> I think it's awesome that you push it that far publicly on a setting like this because um that doesn't happen very
49:17often, but we got to put it here in a mock draft.
49:19>> Yeah, it's good thing it's a mock draft.
49:21>> Good thing it's it's a mock draft. Um, okay. Hopefully this next tight end makes it to me with this next pick
49:27because I'll just take uh Bretton Strange over these wide receivers and running backs because again so much talk and I understand it with all the wide
49:34receivers on the Jaguars right now, but uh Burton Strange still scored quite highly when he was on the field last year.
49:40>> Yeah, it sounds like Jacksonville is still going to use a bunch of three wide receiver sets and they just were just
49:45want some tight end depth. I don't know why you'd take a second second round tight end if you're looking for depth,
49:49but um that is interesting. All right, my last pick. I'll do uh Florenoi. He's pretty much a waiverwire guy, but if
49:56something happens to one of the top two wide receivers, I do think that he would be somebody that we'd be ranking. So,
50:00I'd be like the top 36 or so. So, it's my last pick.
50:03>> Hayden had to bounce to appear on another show. Uh but on that note, and I should have mentioned this earlier, we
50:08have Eric Froton just after this for the three players he can't stop drafting in college fantasy football. Yes, that is on Yahoo right now. Play NFL fantasy
50:19football. Why why not just, you know, do the same thing on on Saturdays? He has a top 300 rankings for every single
50:25position. Uh so all you ball knowowers that watch a ton of ball throughout the entire weekend, and I'm sure your significant others love it, and you've
50:32never played CFF, now's the time to do so. And uh Froon has a bit of a primer for you after this. Okay. Uh Hayden's
50:40team, just to talk through it, and he mostly did here. Jonathan Taylor, Brock Bowers, Bree Hall, Kyron Williams, DeAndre Swift, Lamar Jackson, then his
50:50run of wide receivers of Jordan Kais, Stefon Digs, Xavier Worthy, Michael Wilson, Travis Hunter, and then Matthew Stafford, and Ryan Florenoi. Uh, my
50:59team, CMC, Drake London, Z Flowers, Garrett Wilson, DJ Moore, Jane Daniels, Harold Fannon. So, that's basically my starting
51:09lineup. And then I tried to put two or three names together for that running back two spot. Obviously, when you get
51:16into drafts like this, you're going to have a weakness when you come out of it.
51:19Uh mine, I know, is going to be my running back two spot. But again, wafer wire pickups, backups getting into that
51:26area, uh or a combination of Chuba Hubard for the rushing and Rashad White for the receiving can make up that running back two spot. And then I went
51:35with Jacobe Myers and Deshawn Stribbling. again, my wide receivers and my flexes should be totally taken care of along with Alvin Chimera and Britain
51:43Strange. And uh who should we close this thing out with? Who should we close this thing out with? Um I have the likes of
51:51Aronda Gadson, Adnai Mitchell, AJ Barner, Greg Doulich, Trey Harris. I'm going to go I'm going to go with AJ Barner. I should have gone with Greg
52:01Doulsuch. I should have taken the receptions that Greg Doulsich brings to the table. Um because he truly might be like the top receiver of the Miami
52:11Dolphins this year. And again, the two flexes rather than like the three wide receivers in one flex, I think opens the
52:16door in this format if you all have the same one for truly starting tight ends in that second flex spot. Before we get
52:24out of here, let's talk through producer Weaves. All right, he's in the 11th pick. Saquon Barkley, Devon Achan, Jaylen Wadd, Coulson Loveland, Parker
52:32Washington, Quinnshaw Judkins, Justin Herbert, and Quinton Johnson. Like right there, his starting lineup is filled out after that. Jaden Reed, Romeo Dos, Kalio
52:42Shakir, Jawan Johnson again on the radar from Under Hill saying that he is undervalued in all drafts right now.
52:48Jordan Love and Ray Davis absolutely love us. Let us know in the comments down below which of these teams from Stunna to Fins to Beef Candy to Serenity
52:59now that you like the most and we'll send it on over to our conversation with Eric Fronton right now. Oh yeah, college
53:05football fantasy is here. You know, you can't just have your fantasy football love on Thursdays and Sundays and Mondays. You need it on Saturdays as
53:14well. We know you all watch ball and we have the man to bring it to you. The knowledge that you need. This is Eric
53:19Froton. Eric, we typically bring in guests on the summer for NFL fantasy football side on like a five players or a handful of players they can't stop
53:28drafting. So, I thought that was the perfect way to bring you in for this college football fantasy season. Uh they can be drafted in any order in any point
53:39of the draft board, but uh give us your first player that you can't stop drafting this year.
53:42>> Yeah, we're going to go right to the top here with Nick Marsh, transfer from Michigan State to Indiana. Now, as we
53:49know, I know I know you're NFL guys, but I know you know Indiana won the national title last year, right? I know we're all
53:55up on that, but when it comes to Michigan State, I don't blame you if you don't know what's going on Michigan
54:01State because there really wasn't very much happening last season. One of the worst quarterbacks in the power four, ranked dead last among quarterbacks with
54:11200 plus dropbacks in ontarget throw rate, that was Aiden Child. Despite that, you know, they were still force-feeding Nick Marsh the ball last
54:20year, 29% target share with 75 targets over his last seven games, forcing 28 missed tackles on 58 receptions, a goddy
54:3148% miss tackle rate.
54:34>> The beauty of Nick Marsh is he's going to have Josh Hoover to work with now this year. He's going to have Curt
54:39Signetti's more structured offense. He's going to get more quality targets uh in that Elijah Serat xboundary wide receiver role. Now last year Serat
54:49scored a touchdown in almost every single game last year and Marsh is worlds better than Elijah Serat. He is going to be a true wide receiver number
54:59one. And for 2027 NFL draft purposes right now I have him as my wide receiver too behind only Julio Jones. the the new
55:10version, Jeremiah Smith.
55:12>> Yeah, my ears perked up when you said he's a boundary exceiver, but he's breaking all those tackles. You typically don't get those two profiles
55:17together. I thought you were going to say Omar Omar Cooper role because he was kind of the force miss tackle guy in
55:22that offense, but boundary and force miss tackles in the same profile is definitely interesting.
55:27>> Yeah, Eric, I have a question. Like when you think about a team like Indiana that lost so much talent to the NFL and it's
55:35Fernand Mendoza, it's both the wide receivers, it's it's also Kalin Black, right? Like how much does the system change based on the new talent that
55:45comes in or is this hey the signetti mold this is what we do no matter what and we're going to fit these pieces
55:52while some of them might be better some of them also might be worse. So how difficult it is for you to project
55:56year-over-year with that stuff? You know, typically systems are pretty consistent year-over-year. You have a certain style of play caller with offensive coordinator or if it's an
56:07offensive-minded head coach who takes that play calling that will typically be repeatable. Um, so I see and that's kind of why we got into Indiana, how they
56:17still have Charlie Becker at the Z-roll and Charlie Becker was an absolute monster down the stretch with those back shoulder throws and highpoint catches on
56:26the boundary. He was almost unstoppable.
56:29It was basically like a rebound when they're throwing it down field because he was just so dominant against those inferior boundary corners. Uh he will
56:37stay on the Z in my opinion. You're just going to see Marsh go and slot right in the Serat role. And then on the the
56:43running back side, you mentioned Kalin Black. They bring in Turbo Richard from BC who had some pretty encouraging advanced metrics and he'll just slot it
56:51in the Hemi role who was the pretty much the the primary even though it was almost a straight split last year.
56:58>> You'll see Kobe Martin filling in and they also bring in Lee BB another uh running back from UAB. So you'll see
57:06another rotation there. um somebody will emerge as the nominal one, but it it really hurts the profile of a guy like
57:15Turbo Richard, who you would think would have top five round draft capital, but because of the three-way dance, it really clouds his profile.
57:23>> Turbo Richard's such a college football uh name out there. And just for clarity, this is this is power four plus Notre
57:29Dame when we're drafting on Yahoo.
57:31>> Yes, sir. 68 teams, the 67 nom, you know, traditional power four teams plus Notre Dame, despite the fact that Notre Dame plays basically a G6
57:41schedule. You know, I had I [laughter] have to get that dig in there. They got they got to have been strongest
57:45schedule.
57:46>> And Eric, I know you already have on Yahoo a top 300 plus positional rankings for all these. So, uh yeah, if we think
57:51we're overloaded with 32 teams, you go uh deep deep with with 68 of them. Okay, one name down, two to go. Who else can
57:58you not stop drafting this summer? Yeah, we're going to go over to Oregon. You know, we're going to stay in the Big 10,
58:02another alpha dog of the Big 10. And we're going to go to actually their backup or their RB2 heading in the
58:10season. We're going to get spicy here, guys. Come on. We're going to have some excitement >> because this is about players that I
58:16can't stop drafting. And I cannot stop drafting. De'ar Hill, D I E R E. Get used to his name.
58:24>> Averaged a ridiculous 8.2 2 yards uh per carry on only 59 carries as a freshman.
58:33Still 6.5 yards after contact is what you average. If you get if you get 6.5 in college, you're already like a
58:42prospect. You're getting 6.5 after contact.
58:45>> That kind of illustrates just the kind of elusiveness and explosiveness that we can really expect to see out of De'ar
58:51Hill with his 39% missed tackle rate.
58:55We're getting into Bejon territory there. Uh could not be more excited about him assuming a much larger role for what would probably be a run-based
59:03Oregon attack this season as they roll over a very palatable schedule in the Big 10.
59:09>> How often did uh like returning players like juniors and seniors versus like all of a sudden a freshman hits the scene?
59:13So like obviously De Hill came in came in hot towards the end of that last season. How often are you looking at
59:18rookies or freshman versus uh returning players? Yeah, it's it's always a dicey proposition with these freshman coming in. Not rookies.
59:27>> I know freshman. I know. I know. Hey, we're trying we're trying to remold everybody to come down and give it a shot here. No offense, of course,
59:36but um uh with that uh the younger guys coming in and sort of vulturing carries from the older guys. It happens all the
59:45time. You know, this is about wins. And if you have a better back that is gives you a better chance to win, these
59:51college coaches lines are on the job.
59:54You get on the hot seat. You're doing everything you can to get off of it or you're moving out quick. There's very
60:00little um you know, I would say loyalty when it comes to the coaching and at the same time they're going to play the best
60:08guys they can. Eric, when you mention an Oregon player, uh, I immediately jump to the schedule and the game that I circle
60:15is September 26th, Hayden, because you know from, uh, at least I do from going through all these draft prospects, Eric, every single spring that every single
60:25one has their best game against the USC Trojans defense. Literally every single one. And this goes years over years over years. I mean, go from Don Kade to Taj
60:32Spears to, you know, Jadarian Price having both of his kick return touchdowns against these USC Trojans.
60:38That's just the star of the list. I can go about 10 deep with it. So, uh, I cannot wait for the Oregon running backs
60:43against your USC Trojans, Hayden, on September 26th.
60:46>> Can I ask a selfish question? Uh, what's going down with USC's offense this year?
60:50We got, uh, returning quarterback. I'm kind of optimistic there. We're a bunch of new skilled guys. Who's who should we be drafting for USC?
60:57>> Sure. Well, I I you mentioned Jaden Mayava, the quarterback there. I love Jade Mayava. I think he's underrated for NFL draft purposes. He's got the size.
61:05He's got touch. He can layer the ball and my gosh, you see some of the throws he made when supplanting Miller Moss two
61:12years ago uh to Jacobe Lane like his placement on the balls in that in the back corner throws Jacobe Lane when
61:19they're in the gold zone and it's like all right we're throwing this up.
61:24Excellent ball placement. Um I knew pretty early on that he was going to supplant Miller Moss in 2024 when I went
61:30to the spring game and it it certainly came to pass. That being said, uh, with USC, it's all about the receiving court.
61:37They've got a great pair of running backs, if you well know. Um, King Miller certainly established himself behind Wayman Jordan when he got hurt, but
61:46Jordan is expected to be back. I think he's electric in an NFL back. But the receiver core, uh, Tuk Hines is the wide
61:52receiver three. He returns, but obviously they vacate two of the best in the Big 10 with Jacobe and and Mai Lemon. So they have three freshman
62:01coming in that are expected to contribute immediately. You can see Trent Mosley, see Wyatt Dixon, Booby Feaster reclassified from the 27 class,
62:11the 26 in order to come in. Um bring in Terrell Anderson from NC State. So there is plenty of opportunity in the wide
62:18receiver room opposite of Tanuk. So I'm very curious to see what we get out of these freshman. shades of the Branch
62:26Lemon Jacobe Lane class years back from this freshman class for USC.
62:31>> All right, we have a wire time.
62:33>> There you go. All right, Eric, one last name. Close it out.
62:36>> Final one. You can't stop drafting this summer.
62:38>> Yeah, we're going to try. We're going to go over to one position each. We got a a running back. We got a wide receiver.
62:44We're going over to to Pit where you guys will appreciate this. Kerwin Bell, old friend. Cerwyn Bell, OC, now the
62:53head coach of Western Carolina. His son, Cade Bell, is the offensive coordinator at Pit. Don't get too excited there, NFL guys. We're all right. We're It's still
63:04college. We're okay. But, uh, their quarterback there, Kbell's quarterback, Mason Heightshaw, was a true freshman last year. was behind a former Alabama
63:15commit um named Eli Holstein who was the starter last season. Few games in it became very clear that that was not
63:22going to work. Bring in Hechill and he wins his first five games as a true freshman throwing 12 touchdowns. Oh, he
63:30was incredible. But a fatal flaw kind of kind of ruined the season for Pittsburgh. They had one of the worst offensive lines of any winning team in
63:40the power four last season. 44 sacks allowed.
63:45>> Kid was running for his life out there.
63:48They have now they have since three departed. They bring in three new uh transfers and they have six offensive linemen now who have started 11 plus
63:58games at the FBS level. So they have addressed that issue and with Heinchil it's so important for college fantasy quarterbacks to have a running component
64:06to them.
64:07>> Y >> even though he only had 86 yards last year and two touchdowns in nine starts again in college you go you lose the
64:15rushing yards when you take sacks >> y >> 44 sacks it just killed him. However he broke 19 tackles last year as a runner.
64:24That is something that I project to to really translate well with a better line and another year where he's under center
64:32and he's taken all those starter reps in the offseason. I expect Mason Heightil to ascend in the pits offense who is
64:40known for throwing 35 plus passes per game and scoring 35 plus points per game. That is a magic formula in college
64:50finanes and production. You make uh Kenny Picket look like a firstrounder. This is like one of these [laughter] offenses to buy
64:57into.
64:59>> Small hands. Kenny probably. Yes. Oh god. I couldn't couldn't have been happier to see him bust. He was extremely smug to me when I [laughter]
65:05talked to him at the combine. So that's what you get. Kenny Picket.
65:10>> Had had Jordan Addison if if I believe that that that'll do it for you.
65:14Correct.
65:14>> True freshman Orton Jordan Addison,00 plus receiving yards as a true freshman.
65:19One of the greats.
65:20>> Yes, that'll do it. Eric, you've said it all. You all can draft your CFF teams right now over on Yahoo. Get a bunch of
65:28your buddies, start a league, or join a public league. And yes, Eric has you covered. Top 300 rankings along with positional ones. So, go and draft at
65:37this very moment. Thank you all for tuning in. We'll see you all next week.
