Aaron Jones

PositiveProjection37:05

When Aaron Jones had the backfield to himself in weeks 2–5, he finished as RB7, RB18, RB15, and RB18 respectively, essentially never coming off the field. Against the Lions (team total nearly 22 points), Jones is positioned for strong production if healthy. Injury status is uncertain as of early week and ranking is contingent on whether he plays; if both Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason are active but Jones is missing practices, they rank RB27 and RB28 back-to-back.

Insight page

Bam Knight

NegativeUsage30:25

Bam Knight was RB12 and RB18 in usage over the last two weeks; if Jeremiah Love can achieve that level of usage against Dallas, there is significant upside potential.

Insight page

Blake Corum

NegativeUsage12:28

Corum is receiving goal-line touches at Kyren Williams' expense in the Rams' run-heavy offense. While he's been RB6 in usage and RB2 in expected points over the past month with huge games in weeks 4-5, he's cooled off in weeks 6-7. The goal-line touch competition limits his ceiling despite the Rams' three-tight-end heavy, run-first scheme.

Insight page

Breece Hall

NegativeUsage38:06

Breece Hall is projected for a 60/40 backfield split (favoring Hall) against the Raiders; the Jets have averaged 18.2 expected half-PPR points to the backfield collectively, which projects Hall to ~11 fantasy points at 60% usage. This represents a significant decrease from weeks 1–3 when he commanded 71%, 78%, and 93% of backfield touches, averaging nearly 14 points. The Raiders defense has been run on consistently this season, providing a favorable matchup despite reduced volume.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

PositiveProjection10:05

Ranked RB7 on the week and RB14 in consensus rankings, but the source is higher on him than consensus. Irving posted RB2 finish and RB4 usage last week with 24 carries, 106 rushing yards, and two touchdowns (without playing the fourth quarter). Buccaneers' offensive line was dominant last week and is expected to be a top-three or top-four unit; with Baker Mayfield back, the passing game should improve, reducing reliance on backup RBs. Irving has been RB7 in expected points over the past month.

Insight page

Chase Brown

PositiveValue33:03

Ranked RB18 but represents a potential buy-low opportunity; Chase Brown got 78% of the workload again but was subbed off at the one-yard line for the touchdown, creating role uncertainty tied to Samaj Prian's involvement. Cincinnati is projected for 28.25 team points with a favorable remaining schedule; Jir Gibbs expressed being "most fearful of being way off on" Chase Brown, suggesting conviction that he should be ranked significantly higher—possibly as high as RB4 in a vacuum—if his role solidifies and goal-line touches consolidate.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

NegativeMatchup18:07

Hubbard is ranked RB11 for Week 8 against the Packers in Thursday Night Football. The Packers defense has allowed just 3.3 yards per carry and 0.54 yards before contact per rush outside of their game against the Falcons, presenting a tough matchup. The Panthers' best offensive lineman, Damen Lewis, is out, which will impact Hubbard's performance. However, the Packers are losing linebacker depth—Edin Cooper is out for the season with a torn Achilles, and Zire Franklin is expected to miss another game due to the short week. Hubbard doesn't come off the field often and the Panthers are projected for 22 points. The Packers defense is using Brian Flores-coded schemes with unique line-of-scrimmage pressure, but Hubbard has been a top-10 running back (RB10–RB15 usage) all season, warranting continued reliance on his production until something changes.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

NegativeProjection35:15

Ranked RB19 against Seattle Seahawks; this is "the worst spot for DeAndre Swift the entire year." Bears are projected for 21.75 PPR points, but Seahawks are the best rushing defense of the past two years (2023-2024)—you are not running on them. Swift has been playing through injuries and received 26 carries in recent game, but practice video showed him getting up gingerly after being hit with low pads by coaches, suggesting he is not moving freely or at full health. Kyle Manungai is expected to return from turf toe injury (week 7-8 timeline), which will further reduce Swift's workload. Extended rest between Thursday night and following Monday night is positive for injury recovery, but the matchup and health concerns are significant headwinds.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

PositiveProjection8:15

Despite RB40 and RB44 finishes in the last two games (both losses), Henry's outlook improves significantly with Lamar Jackson's return for Week 8 at Buffalo. With Jackson on the field, Henry averages 21.8 PPR versus 10.1 without him—an 11-point difference. Ravens are projected for 26 points as favorites, and Jackson's presence significantly boosts efficiency across all positions due to his dual-threat ability. However, Henry is A-tier (not S-tier) for the week after disappointing in his last two games, raising concerns about his consistency despite the favorable matchup.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveProjection5:38

Ranked S-tier for Week 8 against Baltimore despite Ravens allowing fifth-fewest fantasy points to running backs. Bills project for nearly 29 points and Cook is RB2 in rushing yards per game with 1.7 receptions per game and goal-line opportunity even when Josh Allen scores. Cook has a rushing TD in five straight games and the Ravens play sub packages on 72% of opponent runs (third-highest rate), creating light-box conditions that favor the Bills' running game.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

PositiveProjection7:24

Ranked RB5 and S-tier for Week 8 against Arizona with Cowboys projecting nearly 31 points (possibly season-high). Williams has scored a touchdown in all but one game this season with six rushing TDs this month and nine inside-the-five-yard-line carries (four-five converted to TDs). Cowboys' elite offensive line (Tyler Smith back at left guard after missing first month, Tyler Booker in space) and Dak Prescott's strong play support continued top-five finish. Williams is finishing as a top-five running back recently and expected to continue that trend; Cardinals have been unable to stop anybody.

Insight page
PositiveProjection8:08

Williams is finishing as a top-five running back recently and expected to continue that trend; Cardinals defense has been unable to stop anybody for about five years, creating a favorable matchup.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

PositiveProjection25:54

Warren is ranked RB14 and leads the NFL in per-touch metrics among all running backs; he's the most explosive element of the Steelers offense. He's seen 62% of carries with Dowel back (up from 48% in weeks 1-3), though Hayden Dattle has eaten into some work and the Browns' elite linebackers may limit his explosiveness. However, the Browns allow 10+ yard runs at the highest rate in the NFL (16%), which favors explosive backs. Warren is projected to settle in nicely as a fantasy running back, fitting as a B-tier lead back.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveValue1:54

Ranked RB16 in this ranking but RB33 in consensus, suggesting undervaluation. He has one game with 26 touches but other games show 12, 15, 12, and 13 touches. Matchup against Dallas Cowboys (who haven't stopped the run or pass all season) is favorable; if he gets rested in third/fourth quarters like previously, he could exceed his average touch total.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

NegativeMatchup19:50

Taylor is ranked RB12 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have allowed just 51.5 rushing yards per game this season with a high success rate against the run. However, Taylor has rushed for the most yards against Jacksonville over the last two seasons, with his two highest rushing totals against them being 74 and 70 yards. The matchup is complicated by the loss of left guard Quinton Nelson, who is likely the best left guard in the game and has been instrumental in Taylor's biggest runs. The Colts' offensive line now has below-average starters at multiple spots. Jacksonville's defense is so dominant that teams facing them have the lowest neutral run rate in the league, choosing to pass instead. The Colts' team total has dropped to 18.5 (24th in the league) since the Nelson trade, creating unfavorable game script. Additionally, backup Seth McGawan is stealing snaps—he took more market share in the Vikings game than in any prior game this season—adding another layer of concern. Taylor is ranked RB3 with 22 touches per game but posted RB24 expected points last week, the fewest in recent years.

Insight page

Jordan Mason

PositiveProjection37:05

Ranked as RB next in line at Detroit Lions matchup; ranking assumes Aaron Jones is out. Vikings running back room has averaged 18.5 expected half-PPR points collectively. When Aaron Jones had the backfield to himself (weeks 2-5), he posted RB7, RB18, RB15, and RB18 finishes. Mason would not catch as many passes as Jones, representing a meaningful difference in receiving usage and overall fantasy upside compared to Jones's baseline, but if Jones misses, Mason is in a good spot against the Lions with team total near 22 points.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

PositiveMatchup22:27

Jacobs is ranked RB13 facing the Panthers' 31st-ranked rushing defense (by DBA, EPA, PFF grade). Panthers allow 153 rushing yards per game and 26.7 half-PPR points to running backs; giving Jacobs 75% of that workload projects favorably. The team total is 25.5 points at home on Thursday night. Jacobs had a touchdown and a drop in recent action but is expected to see his workload ramp up; he's projected to hit 14-15 carries per game going forward, with reduced pass-catching volume compared to recent weeks. Jacobs was out there for a bunch of receptions and Marshon Lloyd was mixing in on the ground, but Jacobs' workload is expected to increase.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveProjection2:14

Ranked RB2 for Week 8 against Denver Broncos, with the source suggesting he could be pitched as RB1 overall depending on Kansas City's offensive line health. Walker had 191 yards in Week 1 against Denver and dominated the linebacker group repeatedly. While the Broncos defense has improved with the return of an edge rusher and Pat Tan at linebacker, the source views them as a tier below the elite defenses (Vikings, Seahawks) and notes Walker is the best tackle-breaker in the NFL facing a defense that has struggled with consistent tackling this season.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

PositiveProjection12:02

Williams is ranked RB8 for Week 8. The Rams are projected for 26 points and are 6.5-point favorites; the formula indicates Williams is likely to score a touchdown this week. Over the past month, he's been RB6 in usage and RB2 in expected points, with huge games in weeks four and five. Recent usage has dipped slightly due to drive-by rotation and Blake Corum receiving some goal-line carries, but Williams remains a core part of the Rams' run-heavy offense.

Insight page

Ollie Gordon II

PositiveProjection0:45

Ollie Gordon is the clear lead back in the Cardinals backfield and is ranked in B tier for Week 8 vs. the Patriots; he consistently produces explosive plays regardless of opponent, receives a high volume of touches, and commands all goal-line work. The Cardinals are 31st in neutral pass rate (43%), driving additional rushing volume to Gordon. Malik Willis has not been used as a goal-line threat, further consolidating Gordon's red-zone opportunity share.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

PositiveProjection27:28

Ranked RB15; Barkley has outstanding per-touch production this season with positive outcomes on essentially every touch. Health is the key factor—if his back issue is resolved and not a lingering hamstring problem, he belongs in the A-tier, possibly toward the end. Tanner McKee is a slight upgrade for Barkley's fantasy value because McKee won't run around and do the tush push, keeping the offense more grounded. With Damen Pierce likely out and Elijah Mitchell showing poor tape, Barkley should see significant workload and is a necessary element to the Eagles offense.

0:00Welcome to your week eight running back rankings. As always, brought to you by Farmers Insurance. Shout out to Farmers.
0:07These are from your brain, Hayden. And we're going to tear them out. Top tier running back ones, running back twos, all that type of stuff. And we begin
0:17with an interesting conversation with Jir Gibbs. This is against the Minnesota Vikings. He once again is your running back one. However, his two lowest weeks,
0:25running back 14 and running back 18 performances, have been in two of the last three games. That was around 16 and
0:3215 fantasy points. So, still very good.
0:34This is easily his most difficult opponent so far in the Minnesota Vikings.
0:38>> The Vikings have allowed the fewest amount of fantasy points to running backs. There's only been two running backs to reach over 10.5 PPR points.
0:45That was Jonathan Taylor last week and then Aldi Gordon in week four once again dunking all over me. Uh yeah, all the
0:53top running backs have very difficult matchups. So unless we're gonna like rank Javvante Williams or, you know, James Cook as RB1, I'm kind of just
1:01leaning on the the fantasy points, but it is it's a much closer race this week than has been previously.
1:06>> Okay, I'm going to peel back the curtain here. Is this a fear-based ranking? Is this a Jir Gibbs is the unquestioned 101
1:17of the season, so he is somewhat matchup proof. Uh what is it?
1:23>> Uh the team total is still really high.
1:25It's at 25 points. The Vikings, I I do think that they are awesome defense.
1:30They've also faced a little bit of a soft schedule. I'm not calling them schedule merchants, but you know, it's a little bit different when you're facing
1:35the the Detroit Lions. And um I think they are going to try to get after Jer Gibbs and pass protection and whatnot,
1:40but if you can't stop the run right away and I think getting Cade Mazize back there, plus just Jared Goff under
1:46pressure has just been way better this year than it ever has before. Um so I still feel decent about the spot. This
1:52is obviously the toughest match up of the year though.
1:54>> Love that. I remember a couple years ago it was when Brian Flores first game as the Vikings coordinator against Jir
2:00Gibbs where they just peppered him with blitzes and they're like we got to get Gibbs off the field. He's improved obviously since then. Uh, and they would
2:06not put Sony Bakai in there instead of Jir Gibbs at this point. So, yeah, it's it's I think an interesting chess match.
2:11Oh, yeah.
2:12>> Between all these different elements.
2:14Okay. Your running back two is Kenneth Walker III. This is against the Denver Broncos. Uh, we talked about it last week heading into the game that the
2:24Kansas City Chiefs had a low point total. Aiden, we're back here again.
2:28They are one and a half point favorites on the road against the Broncos, but a measly 21 points.
2:33>> Yeah, that's the problem. They're not going to have the starting left tackle probably for the season. And they're I'm hoping they're getting their right
2:38tackle back. I think that would be a pretty substantial upgrade, like maybe even enough where my final rankings will have Kenneth Walker first overall. The
2:43Broncos defense is getting a little bit better. They added one of their top edge rushers back uh after the commissioners exempl.
2:50They're not, you know, breaking as me as many tackles uh among the linebacker group. I think Pat Tan's probably going to be returning for this game as well.
2:58like this Broncos defense, which was, I think, maybe closer to average initially, is, you know, they're starting to figure things out. But
3:04Kenneth Walker was uh he had to be the RB1 overall in that week one game where he had 191 yards. Uh and he I mean, he
3:12put this linebacker group into the dirt about 20 times in a row.
3:16>> Yeah, I I I might pitch you as we go along this week to make K9 your running back one. Um, we we've already seen this
3:24performance and obviously the Broncos defense has somewhat improved and you know in our minds they still have a chance of being maybe a top five unit
3:30this season. I think there's just a clear tier break between the Vikings, the Seahawks and everyone else. Like we're talking about how good the
3:38Steelers defense is and a few others >> in this episode. Uh, and I would put the Broncos in that next group if not even a
3:44group below that based on what K9 did >> in week one. So yeah, I mean the best tackle breaker in the NFL versus a
3:50defense that at times this season has struggled to consistently tackle.
3:54>> Um, okay.
3:56>> Again, Bejian Robinson. This is on the road at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Buccaneers are actually favorites in this game, too. I don't think people
4:02realizing that. The Falcons only project for 21 points, two and a half point road underdogs, and no one runs in the Bucks.
4:10>> Yeah. the second fewest amount of running back fantasy points on the ground this year, the third most collectively between the run and the
4:17pass there. Uh I will say this, Bejon has absolutely smoked the Buccaneers, uh who have had great running back defenses for many years. He's was the RB4, RB2,
4:26and RB7 in his last three contests. Has at least 106 total yards and a score in all three of those. Uh the team total is
4:33like kind of where it has been over like the last year and a half. um when Bejon has been flirting with top three numbers
4:39out there. The one split I'm just trying to track is uh the target totals for Bejon with Michael Pennix. He's averaging 3.6 uh in the two games uh
4:48with Cooper Rush that was at six. Uh 3.6 targets per game is enough for Bjan Robinson. He's so electric out there.
4:54But uh there's a difference between, you know, catching four or five passes a game versus two and eight. Uh 2.8.
5:00>> 100%. 100%. Yeah. Uh Falcons were awesome last week. maybe they can continue it uh here. I mean, this is one
5:07of those opponents that I think might give Michael Pinnick a few issues in terms of the blitz and the pressure looks and all that type of stuff. So, I
5:14am assuming it's one of those games that Kevin Zansky early on wants to run the basics with Bejon Robinson.
5:20>> And last note, Brian Robinson missed another practice. He missed last week as well. We didn't feel that in the Bjon
5:25box scores uh necessarily, but he had 20 carries and five receptions without Brian Robinson. Obviously, him not being out there is helpful. And I mentioned
5:33Stfansky, also Tommy Reese, who who is the play caller here. Is that the top three or should we continue on here with
5:38James Cook in the same bracket who I think has a really ma interesting match up here against the Baltimore Ravens?
5:44>> I like James Cook as a S tier running back this week. They're projected for almost 29 points against the Ravens. The
5:50Ravens defense like has not been quite as good as I thought it was. It's the first year in the system. I understand
5:55that some of their uh best players haven't been playing like uh true like allp pro players as well. Um, and the
6:02James Cook numbers are exactly what they were last year. Like we're not getting more receptions. He's the RB, like 40 in
6:08receptions per game, only 1.7. He is also the RB2 in rushing yards per game.
6:12He's going to be in the mix at the goal line, even when Josh Allen is scoring touchdowns because the team total is
6:17what it is. Um, the Ravens have allowed the fifth fewest fantasy points to running backs this year. Um, fewest amount of fantasy points uh through the
6:24air as well. So like the receiving numbers, like you're just not going to get them. And that makes sense to me
6:28because you have the linebackers and safeties that they do. Um, but Beij Robinson 118 scoreless yards back in week five. Lesser talents have been uh
6:36worse than that. So, this is just more to me more like I trust the Bills more than I trust the Ravens defense.
6:41>> Yeah, Reeves noticed in the worksheet that the Ravens have played sub packages in 72% of opponent runs this year.
6:48That's the third highest rate and a light box uh on at the second highest rate on top of that. So yeah, I mean
6:56when you can lean into the running game, the Bills have done that in the past 100%. I know they get DJ Moore back, but
7:02this could be one of those games where off a buy, you know, Joe Brady's like, "Hey, the running game might be our best
7:07avenue of success here." And James Cook has a rushing TD in five straight games right now. He also had, you know, 58
7:14receiving yards the last time they were out there. Ty Johnson was banged up because before that he had just 31 receiving yards. So, I'm not sure if I'm
7:20back to hang my hat on some receiving usage here with James Cook.
7:24>> Let's talk Javvante Williams. He's your running back five. S tier or A tier?
7:28>> S tier. I love Javante this week.
7:31>> Yeah, this is nearly a 31 point team total for the Dallas Cowboys. Have we reached 31 so far this season? This
7:38might be the first. Um, and he has scored a touchdown in all but one game so far this season.
7:44>> Yeah, I mean, he is the RB5 and RB6 usage this month. He's had six rushing touchdowns this month as well. He has
7:50nine inside the five yard line carries this month. Four, five of them have gone for touchdowns. Like, you know, they run
7:56the ball inside the five yard line and it works. Their offensive line is awesome. Tyler Booker was out getting out in space as a bowler, as you noted.
8:02Uh, and obviously when you have Tyler Smith back at your left guard spot, he was out for the first month of the
8:07season, like his offensive line's one of the best in the league. Dak Prescott is for the most part playing really, really
8:11well. Uh, the Cardinals haven't been able to stop anybody. No, anybody.
8:16anybody for about five years in a row.
8:18So like Javvante Williams is going to keep keep doing what he what he does, which is recently been finishing as a
8:25top five running back.
8:27>> Okay, Dererick Henry's next at the Buffalo Bills. I'm going to start off in a tier. If you want to talk me into S
8:33tier, that works. I mean, over the last two weeks, he's really let people down.
8:36He's been the running back 40 and 44 in the last two games. Both of those are losses. one tight by just three points,
8:44one by 22. They are predicted to lose this game against the Buffalo Bills. Uh they are three-point underdogs here on
8:55the road. So why might this be different for Derrick Henry this week other than, you know, Lamar Jackson back in?
9:01>> Well, I've got some Lamar Jackson onoff splits that I want to hit you with.
9:04Okay, so Derrick Henry, there's been four games with Lamar Jackson. He's averaging 21.8 in those. The three games without him, 10.1. So, talk about, you
9:12know, 11 point difference there.
9:14Expected points are a little bit higher in the Lamar games, which makes sense because they're, you know, winning those games. Uh, and he's also just way more
9:23efficient because you have Lamar Jackson as more of a threat. Now, I will say losing Vega is going to be a problem uh
9:29for them, but they're also getting Cam Jurgens uh integrated into the lineup as well. So, like let's say that's roughly a wash. It just comes back to like now
9:36they're projected for 26 points because Lamar Jackson is expected to play. Um, so you guys can miss me with like Derrick Henry's age cliff is here. Like
9:45Lamar Jackson being in the lineup has like been worth like huge amounts of efficiency for every position that he's attached with because he's the best
9:53player in the NFL when he's like fully ready to go. So I hope that he's his ankle is uh on straight and I hope that
10:00we get a Josh Allen versus Lamar Jackson game. These are like as good as TV gets.
10:05>> Love it. Next is Bucky Irving. He's your running back seven on the week. He's running back 14 in consensus rankings
10:13right now. Uh I mean two of the last three games running back three running back two performances. Those are against the Dallas Cowboys and the Carolina
10:22Panthers. We know this week it's against the Atlanta Falcons who have had some really strong performances again with their defensive coordinator despite some
10:30of their lesser talents. So I'm excited to hear what you have to say here.
10:33>> I'm surprised I'm so much higher on Bucky than everyone else. I'm usually like a half tier lower on Bucky. Um
10:40>> that offensive line was just so dominant last week and I think with Baker Mayfield back out there, I'm not expecting them to be like the worst
10:46quarterback team through the first six weeks like they were uh before. So like I'm kind of going back to like, you
10:51know, the expectations that the offensive line is awesome. And I'm less concerned about the Shawn Tucker and Kenny Gainwell stuff. Like there's been
10:58opportunities for those guys to mix in.
11:00Sean Tucker did get a goal line attempt uh in the first half, but Bucky Irving on had two drives himself where he was
11:07getting goal line carries. Kenny Gain well just like not really factoring in.
11:11Um and Bucky Irving had 24 carries, 106 rushing yards, two touchdowns, RB2 finish, RB4 usage last week. He didn't even play the fourth quarter. So um then
11:22brings up to the matchup where Christian McAffrey has uh has been all right against them. DeAndre Swift was the RB5.
11:29Dererick Henry was the RB5. Alvin Camra was the RB10. Like they've been uh kind of exposed a little bit uh through the
11:35air specifically. Uh and I think that Bucky Irving like factors into that as well.
11:39>> Yeah, the Bucks rolled out with some different run concepts last week. It was a lot of man and gap stuff. Uh and it
11:45worked tremendously well. I mean, we're just keep leaning into that. Like so often we might seem like we're overreacting to a singular performance.
11:53Hayden, I am okay overreacting to the Bucks offensive line and tight ends looking that good in the run blocking department. Yeah, because that was our
12:01expectation heading into the season that they are going to be a top three or four unit. They have been horrific this season
12:08>> outside this game.
12:10>> But I'm okay to abandon that and just look at what they did this past week because again the talent level matches
12:15that performance.
12:16>> Yeah, last month he's been the RB7 and expected points too. It's like I'm not like trying to make this up. He seems
12:21good.
12:22Kairen Williams is your running back eight. Guess what? The Rams are projected for a boatload of points. 26.
12:30They're six and a half point favorites.
12:32The formula says that Kairen Williams is likely to score a touchdown this week.
12:35Yep. I will say the last two weeks the usage has been down a little bit. It's it's not because like anything Kairen
12:40Williams has necessarily done. uh just they're just doing the driveby drive rotation and Ky Williams hasn't been quite as like in the mix uh for goal
12:48line touchdowns because those have gone to Blake Cororm and even still he's the RB6 and RB2 usage this past month of the
12:54season. He had huge games in weeks four and five a little bit cooler cooling off in weeks six and seven here. But yeah,
13:01they can only do so much with this offense. They're going to be trotting out three tight ends and they're going to run the ball right at you and it's
13:06going to work and they're going to get Blake Cororm and that's going to work for Blake Cororm as well. And it's just
13:10like we're just flipping coins for for touchdowns, but the coins are weighted.
13:15>> Love that. All right, this is your stand your ground pick presented by DraftKings Sports. Every game day means more with
13:21DraftKings Sports. The crown is yours and we're talking your running back nine on the week against the Indianapolis Colts. running back 13 in expert
13:30consistence rankings. That's Bachel Tutin. This one stood out to me the most when making this list. Hayden, I cannot believe the public is so low on Bachel
13:40Tutin outside of the top 12. He's inside your top 10. They are nine and a half point home favorites here against the
13:47withering decrepit Indianapolis Colts team. Like what gives? Why are we right and they wrong?
13:54I mean, it's a 28 point team total here and DeForest Buckner was like at least keeping that defense afloat. If they're
14:01not going to have Sas Gardner and DeForest Buckner, like the rest of like the starting lineup was already the worst in the league. You're getting rid
14:06of their their best players on offense.
14:09Um, yeah. I mean, when you're 10-point favorites, you're going to get extra carries. We've seen that with Bashel Tutin as well. The more that you know,
14:16times pass, like the less worried that you become with Chris Rodriguez.
14:19Rodriguez is going to steal a couple touchdowns the rest of the year. like it is kind of what it is to me. It's like
14:24also could there just be like a post by like sophomore bump from Tuton. It's like all right, we got through the first
14:29six uh weeks here. He seemed to figure some things out. Like let's now double down on on this like a player that's in
14:36development very clearly. Um like the concern is that Jaguars's offensive line is worrisome and he loses some high value touches.
14:42>> But like this is not a Dline versus O line mismatch here. We're talking about the Colts without Doris Buckner. So I
14:48think it's smash.
14:49>> If the Jaguars give him the line of scrimmage more often, which I think might be possible with a DeForest Buckner less Colts team, then it's
14:58pretty amazing what the results are.
15:00Like 3.62 yards after contact is seventh best in the league. 10 plus yard run rate on nearly 12% of his carries.
15:07That's 11th best right now. He's about 5050 when it comes to goal to go touches with Chris Rodriguez. Guess what, Hayden? think there's a chance that both
15:15these guys, both of them get goal line touches in this game. So, I'm really, really, really excited for Bachel Tutin off a buy and we've only seen a couple
15:24of the 20, 30, 40 yard gains and we might get one here this week. Ashen Genty is next for you. This might shock
15:32people, Hayden. You're higher than the public. Running back 13 in consensus rankings, running back 10 for you. Well, actually, let me adjust that. Uh he's
15:42running back 12 in consensus rankings that just updated. So still two two spots. Um this is the most notable part to me. Reeves had this quote that Genty
15:51is quote basically looking like big RJ Harvey as a feature back right now. And it makes so much sense because he is
15:59horrible in terms of his rushing efficiency but outstanding in terms of his receiving work. And guess what? The Jets are 30th in receiving points
16:09allowed to running backs so far this season.
16:11>> Yeah. Over the last month, he has 5.3 receptions per game. That's RB3. Seven targets per game. That's RB2. They're also happening down the field. We just
16:20saw that this last game where he scored his touchdown. Like those are by design stuff. And guess what? Like those have
16:25been effective when he ever he's catching the ball. Uh but he gets so much volume. Even if he has a drop or
16:30two, like who cares? Um yeah, I don't think he's going to figure out the the ground game. Um, I think that some of
16:36that falls on Ashen Genty. I think a lot of it falls on the offensive line. I think Linderbomb hasn't played well. I
16:41talked about it on Stats versus Film where the Rams started a safety at offball linebacker. We're playing with six defensive backs for for a lot of
16:49that game and daring the Raiders to run the ball and guess what? They couldn't do it. So, uh, we're getting the PPR
16:55scam here. Uh, name is it Alvin Chimera?
16:57Is it RJ Harvey? Is it Christian McCaffrey? Like what? We're kind of figuring out exactly what level player we're getting from from Ashen Genty
17:03still. But I don't think the Jets defense is is all that intimidating.
17:08>> Yeah. And look, uh, we can talk about the rushing stuff and it not being good and him not showing some juice there,
17:14but the receiving stuff, he looks very good there. You know, he obviously has dropped some passes in some moments and some pass protection blips here and
17:22there, but overall like he's running back three and air yards are actually getting him in some downfield looks. He scored again a downfield touchdown this
17:29past week in in the tight red area. And that's just much different when a running back gets those looks versus just the checkdowns over and over. When
17:37passer growing his direction, they are designed and a bunch of that. So yeah, he has legit lost a portion of backfield
17:43runs. Like he's below 58% of the team's backfield carries in three of the last four games, but that's okay when you're
17:50making up for it with this receiving work.
17:51>> Yeah, I think they're like literally trying to figure out the hot hand as a rusher, and he will always have the
17:56receiving stuff. And if he does get the hot hand as a rusher, then we can get back to like top five running back
18:01weeks. Like it's it's going to be weeks randomly. It's not going to be a consistent top five running back. I I'm
18:05pretty positive about that.
18:07>> Okay. Chuba Hubard is your running back 11. Is this A tier or Btier?
18:10>> Uh I I view him in this tier as well.
18:13>> Okay. This is Thursday Night Football.
18:15This is against the Greenway Packers. Uh outside of the game against the Falcons, the Packers have actually allowed just 3.3 yards per carry to running backs,
18:240.54 yards before contact per rush. And the unfortunate news for the Panthers is that their best offensive lineman, Damen Lewis, is out for this contest. So, I
18:33think that might impact Chuba Hubard here a little bit.
18:36>> It will. I will also note the Packers linebackers, Edin Cooper, is out for the season with the torn Achilles. And then,
18:43uh, Zire Franklin, I'm guessing, is going to miss another game here because it's a short week. So, you know, we're losing offensive linemen, they're losing
18:50linebackers. I don't want to call that a wash, but it's at least something here.
18:54They really just can only do so much on offense and Chuba Hubber like does not come off the field very often here.
18:59They're still projected for 22 points. I will say the Packers defense is doing a lot of like the Brian Flores coded
19:04unique stuff at the line of scrimmage, dropping players out, creating some pressure. Like that's kind of what's given the Panthers problems at times. Uh
19:12I'm just kind of relying on what Chuba Hubard has done uh this entire season.
19:16Um which has been a top 10 running back.
19:18Uh he's a RB10, RB15 usage. Like I'm just going to keep riding that until something changes. And after I asked you
19:24about the Jonathan Brooks stuff, I like research things myself. I can't find a single thing about like nothing.
19:30>> Yep. Jonathan Taylor is up next as your running back 12. This is against Jacksonville Jaguars.
19:39Jaguars have the high success rate against the run this season. They've only allowed 51 and a half rushing yards per game. In fact, Hayden Reeves noted
19:46this that Jonathan Taylor actually has rushed for the most yards against Jacksonville over the last two seasons.
19:51Would you like to guess where the two highest rushing totals are against this Jaguars defense over the last two seasons?
19:58>> Like 72.
20:00>> Yeah, you're right in between 74 and 70 rushing yards.
20:04>> Yes.
20:05>> So that's why he's, you know, running back 12 and definitely without his left guard here in Quinton Nelson.
20:11>> The Quinton Nelson stuff is going to be a huge deal. Um, a lot of his biggest runs have been right behind him and that
20:16makes sense because he's probably the best left guard in the game. Uh, and I think now they're going to have like
20:20below average starters at multiple spots across the offensive line. Um, I also had a note on Jacksonville's defense.
20:26Teams facing Jacksonville have the lowest neutral uh, uh, run rate in the league. Uh, teams are choosing to pass the ball because of all the stats we
20:36just mentioned. Like that defensive line is just too dominant. Uh, especially uh, stopping the run here. The team total is at 18 and a half. It's already dropped
20:43since the Quinton Nelson trade. On top of that, it's 24th in the league. game script is not on his side. I will also
20:49mention Seth McGawan is like stealing like some snaps. Like it's not enough to like fully fully panic on Jonathan Taylor, but it's like another layer to
20:56this puzzle. And then I also believe that the Colts want to hold on to him.
21:00Now maybe a team completely blows blows them away, give them a first round pick and they have to take it. But they want
21:06to sell some seats. Uh and I I just think that you get rid of the other guys. Jonathan Taylor is a fan favorite
21:12and you keep it moving like that. And that would be I think worst case scenario for Jonath for Jonathan Taylor's fantasy value.
21:19>> Now the other part of this is that Jonathan Taylor is as the running back three right now in terms of 22 touches
21:25per game. We did see him lose more work than ever before to Seth McGawan this past week. So I kind of wonder if that's
21:33going to be a bit of a trend here. Not necessarily for trade speculation, but hey, we're just getting the brakes beat
21:39off of us. Uh and that was even in a close game >> against the Vikings, by the way. like that game they had a chance in a
21:46threeminute drive to beat the Vikings and Seth McGawan was still stealing more of the market share than he has in any
21:52game so far this season.
21:53>> Yeah, it was RB 24 expected points for Jonathan Taylor which is got to be the fewest uh in the last couple years.
22:01>> This episode is brought to you by Farmers Insurance. Questioning your lineup? Sure. Question your insurance?
22:08Then check out Farmers. Farmers coverage on a page breaks things down so you know what you are and aren't covered for. For
22:17insurance that's truly on your team, visit farmers.com today.
22:21>> Josh Jacobs is your running back 13. Is this the last name in A tier? Yes. Are we going to keep going in A tier? Okay,
22:27so this is bad versus bad >> against the Carolina Panthers. Like what wins? A questionable rushing defense or a questionable rushing attack? that you
22:37can look at the Panthers stuff. Their composite is 31st ranked rushing defense according to DBA and EPA and PFF grade and all that type of stuff, but the
22:47Packers are basically 31st in rushing themselves. They don't have a 100redyard rushing game as a team so far this season.
22:55>> Yeah. Uh but now they got the Panthers who are averaging 153 rushing yards allowed per game. Uh they're averaging 26.7 half PPR points to running backs
23:05this year. Josh Jacobs, let's give him 75% of those and like we're off and running. The team total is really high,
23:1225 and a half points. They're at home for a Thursday night game, which I think is is pretty nice. Uh the Panthers
23:18defense is not going to have Jaylen Phillips uh if if I remember that report as well. So, >> correct.
23:23>> Yeah, I think the linebackers have been pretty underwhelming and uh it's just a it's a scheme. I was asking Nate Ty
23:30about this. It's a scheme that is like kind of like having their players kind of slash through the line and if you
23:36kind of catch them at the right moment then they're just wide open gaps and they're, you know, their big corners are
23:41out right now on top of that. So like there's a lot of ways that this can go wrong for the Carolina Panthers defense
23:46and that's why they have a 25 and a half team total.
23:49>> Yeah. A big part of the Bucky success was getting the corners to tackle and the corners did not want to tackle. Uh
23:55and so Caleb Evans is not playing in this game. Uh which might be a positive.
24:00Um, yeah, >> it's it's it's interesting for the Panthers. Like, they did a really good job statistically against Jir Gibbs. He
24:06was forced to 46 rushing yards. Uh, that's because they were winning in that game, you know. Um, Bejian Robinson, 157 team rushing yards. That's because
24:17the quarterback on the opposite end was turning the football over and they were winning there.
24:22>> And then you have like the Cleveland Browns and their offensive line. And then the Philadelphia Eagles only mustered 35. But obviously you have the
24:28two blowout performances. Yes. The Bears for 26 291 and then the the Bucks this past week at 258. So I'll say it like if
24:36they allow a backfield who hasn't rushed for 100 yards this season to rush for 140 yards in this game.
24:43>> You you got you got to get rid of someone during like this 10 day by week that they have coming up.
24:49>> And who would that be to you?
24:52>> I've seen the tweets. Uh yeah, last thing on Josh Jacobs. Uh Marshon Lloyd was mixing in uh on the ground. Uh but
24:59Josh Jacobs was out there for a bunch of receptions. Obviously, he had the touchdown, the drop in there as well.
25:04But uh I think that's like, you know, as bad as it's going to get for Josh Jacobs. I think his workload's probably
25:09going to ramp up. Maybe not catch five passes a game. Uh but I think there's more likely him hit the 14th, 15th carry
25:15in a game like this.
25:17>> What about the wide receivers? Let's take a pause here for Thursday night football.
25:21>> Um you're starting Christian Watson, you're starting Jordan Love. I'm assuming you're starting Tyron McMillan and and Jaylen Coker. What about Matthew
25:30Golden who hasn't practiced so far this week? I don't think we have the Wednesday report on us just yet.
25:35>> No, sometimes, you know, like on the Thursday night games, they don't practice all that much just because they want to save the reps. Um I don't
25:41remember Matthew Golden like going down and like this is it was expected to be some big injury. So, you know, it's kind
25:47of as simple as this. If Matthew Golden's playing, you're playing him in fantasy.
25:51>> Yeah. I mean, especially against these corners, >> they're bad.
25:54Jaylen Warren is your running back 14.
25:57This against the Cleveland Browns. I mean the per touch stuff on Jaylen Warren is outstanding. He leads the NFL in terms of all running backs and
26:04perouch basis. If we do want to nitpick here a little bit, Hayden >> Dattle did bite into some of it over the
26:10last couple weeks. Like he split first half touches 12 to eight and D did get the only goal to go touch. But we have
26:15seen again Jaylen Warren and the explosives are like the most explosive element of this team.
26:21>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I think the offensive line's good and they're trying to feature Dylan Warren as they should.
26:25He's been the RB 17 and RB16 in usage in the last two weeks with Rico D uh out there and they've been, you know, like
26:33pretty competitive in those games as well. So, you know, I think that we've seen the best of Jaylen Warren this season. I think that he's going to
26:39settle in nicely as a fantasy running back, too. I think B like leading the Btier is like a perfect kind of, you
26:44know, encapsulation of what I think he's going to be. Uh 62% of the carries with Dback. uh that was at uh 48%
26:52uh in weeks one through three. So since Dowel's returned, he's gotten more of the work than he did earlier the season,
26:57but just not going to be the same with, you know, Rico D like straight up missing. Uh Brown's linebackers are awesome. They got a pair of them.
27:03They're extremely fast, and I think like they're going to be able to chase down Jaylen Warren better than other running backs uh have. Uh that said, Tony Pard
27:11had um an RB1 overall finish last time out.
27:14>> Yeah. And the Browns actually are 29th in yards per carry allowed to running backs and the rate of 10 plus yards is
27:20the highest in the NFL at 16%. So that lines up pretty good for the explosive running back on the opposite side.
27:28Speaking of explosive, Saquon Barkley is your running back 15.
27:33Just what's your scale on if he's playing or not? Like it's it's way too early to know. That's fair. Let's let's
27:38put that out there.
27:39>> Yep. Hayden, I am the captain of the Titanic going down the ship here on Saquon with the note that if he was
27:49healthy this season, even if some of the offensive line injuries still happened in front of him, Saquin looks freaking awesome this year. The per touch stuff
27:56is outstanding. It sucks that in multiple contests he got hurt on like the first freaking touch of the game and that included this past week, but uh
28:05every time he's touched the football, basically good things have happened.
28:09>> Yeah. I'm just trying to figure out if it was actually his back like he's saying he said that his hamstring came
28:14out great after that game. Uh >> correct.
28:17>> If he's li if he's not lying and it was his back and like that's just not going to be an issue then I'm with you. If
28:22that was like a still his hamstring and like you know I watched it did seem like his hamstring was still bothering him to
28:27some degree.
28:28>> He said he was compensating for the hamstring and sometimes as you see with other athletes when you compensate for one thing you hurt another one. Uh but
28:35it's it's never good where a 30-year-old is like my back.
28:38>> Yeah. No. But when you see Prethens back after this many touches, you're like, "Oh, that's not great either." Um, >> one touch.
28:44>> One, >> one touch. No, we got the back. Yeah.
28:47Uh, I will say this, watching that game, offensive line felt a little bit more settled in and, uh, I thought, you know,
28:53Tanner McKe is good enough to keep the offense moving. There's going to be some obviously some terrible mistakes in there, but because he's not going to be
28:59running around and doing the tush push like Jaylen Herz was, like, you can argue that Tanner McKe is actually a slight upgrade for Saquon Barkley's
29:05fantasy value. uh >> and running back receptions on top of it.
29:09>> Yes. Uh out of necessity. So, it just comes down to health. If he gets a full participation, which uh I'm kind of
29:15baking in here, then I think that he's kind of belongs in this tier. Maybe at towards the end of the A tier. Uh and
29:20the fact they don't have Damen Pierce most likely in this game as well. Like, it's going to be him versus Elijah
29:25Mitchell, which I thought was some of the worst running back tape uh this entire season.
29:28>> I mean, truly, Elijah Mitchell's gotten worse. He's gotten worse. It's pretty bad.
29:33>> Yeah.
29:33>> Um Yeah. I mean, the Donte Jones Washington Commanders defense has been tricky for some teams because of how they load fronts and stuff, but uh
29:42Saquon is is a necessary element to the team and uh let's hope he plays and is healthy. Next, Jeremiah Love is your
29:52running back 16. He's running back 33 in consensus rankings. I'm just assuming people are not sure if he's going to play this week. Uh this is at the Dallas
30:00Cowboys. I think it is a total guess.
30:02I'm assuming he's going to practice here pretty soon. Um, this has been an interesting one, Hayden, because we know we got that one game with him of 26
30:09touches. The other games have been 12, 15, 12, and 13 touches. So, hopefully we get at least the average of those. And
30:19if he has rested, maybe even more in the third and fourth quarters where he has sat previously.
30:25>> I will say Bam Knight was the RB12 and RB18 in usage the last two weeks. you know, like if Bam Knight can get that
30:32level of usage, like could we dream like am I allowed to dream about Jeremiah Love in a match up against the Dallas
30:37Cowboys who haven't been able to stop anybody on the ground or through the air um this entire season. So, the team
30:43total is at 24 points. Um and the more I watch Tyler Algier, easily the least or the less I am threatened by him. So, if
30:53we get full participation, uh then he will be my RB 15, RB16. If he's still limited in practice and stuff, then I'll
30:58have to make some readjustments. Um, and yeah, I the the fact that Laflur just said that Tyler Algier is a complimentary back like just makes me
31:06super optimistic for the rest of the way. Um, now the offense is like in such dire shape that he's probably not going
31:12to be, you know, the top five, top eight running back that I was hoping that he could kind of squeeze. There's been too
31:17many offensive line injuries, but I still think that he can go from like RB2 to like the RB10. Uh, you know, kind of
31:23in that range.
31:24>> Yeah, they are projected for 24 points here. the Cardinals have only been close to that number like one time this
31:30season.
31:31>> Um the biggest thing for me is some receiving work. He's going to have to get some receiving work if the Cowboys
31:38reach their 31point team total in this game. He only has 36 receiving yards heading into this contest. So I really really hope that uh that becomes an
31:47element of of this game here.
31:49>> His best game was that one against the 49ers, which would be like a very similar game script uh as to this one.
31:54So there's just hope here. Raandre Stevenson is your running back 17. This is at the Miami Dolphins. If you drafted Raandre Stevenson, if he's on your
32:03fantasy team, this is the spot to play him where the Patriots are seven point favorites. Yeah, I initially thought it was going to be way lower than consensus
32:11on Roandre Stevenson because he only had six carries last game. It was at 10 expected half PPR points. Tayvon and Cory Kiner were both mixing in in the
32:19first quarter of that game. Like they're like trying to establish a hot hand. I think that he would be the goal line
32:23most of the time, but Cory Ker is also a big guy. Um, and then you just look at the matchup, you're like, my goodness,
32:30it's it's the Dolphins again, the the allowed the fourth most fantasy points to running backs. Uh, and Raandre Stevenson dropped 34.3 half PPR points
32:39in week 18 last year. He was the RB1 on that week. And then in week two last year, he scored 18.7 fantasy points
32:46against the Dolphins. Uh, they're touchdown favorites. They got a 25 and a quarter team total as well. Um, you really do have to hope that he breaks a
32:55big play, has some goal line work here, and kind of overcomes the fact I think this will be a three-back commit.
33:03Let's talk Chase Brown. He is your running back 18. This is against the Tennessee Titans. Uh, they are 10 and a
33:12half point favorites here. Hayden, I would kind of say this top 18 is pretty strong. Um, yes, if Chase Brown is at
33:18this spot, >> he got 78% of the workload again, thereabouts, but we know he got subbed off at the one-yd line for the
33:25touchdown. So, >> yeah, I I don't know if every single show we need to repeat the line that Chase Brown uh has a really nice
33:32schedule rest of season, so this could be a buy low, but uh the Tennessee Titans are definitely part of that really bad schedule the rest of the
33:38season uh in terms of bad defenses.
33:42Chase Brown's probably the player that I'm most fearful of being way off on.
33:46And I I might move him way up my rankings if I get a little bit, you know, more confident with the role. I
33:52mean, the team total is at 28 and a quarter points. Like Chase Brown really should be the RB4. Like the fact that
33:59he's all the way down here is like, you know, just because of how terrible he's been this year and how much Samaj
34:05Prian's been mixing in. like before the season in this matchup with this team total, we would be ranking him as a top
34:11five running backs. We would we'd be laughing that Javvante Williams is a top five back and that he's the RBA team.
34:17Um, so that's where I'm kind of like, okay, let's let's take a step back and I should probably move him up. And in
34:22fact, let's do it right now. Let's put him ahead of Julian Warren.
34:25>> Wow. Okay, stuff on the fly. I love it.
34:30Um, I mentioned bad defense for the Titans.
34:35I meant overall because of how bad their offense is. They face a whole bunch of running back touches on like a per carry
34:41basis. They're they are pretty good against >> opposing running backs. But I I do want to add like >> Cincinnati's offensive line. It's there.
34:50We said it all summer long. They bring back all five. And this is one of the few teams that like the right tackle is
34:55much better than the left tackle.
34:57>> Way better.
34:59>> I mean, Marius >> Mims is is a monster. I mean, >> I almost did a Marius Mims hype reel this week, but unfortunately ran out of
35:07time. Okay, speaking of social media videos, Hayden, DeAndre Swift is next up as running back 19. This is against the Seattle Seahawks. They're three and a
35:18half point underdogs. I think you saw the uh practice video of Swift with coaches hitting them with low pads. He looked like me going through that. uh if
35:28I got whacked with a with a practice pad. Uh he was getting up gingerly, let's say.
35:32>> Yeah, that was not the greatest look for DeAndre Swift. Now, I totally get it.
35:35He's been on the injury report playing through uh injuries and uh while Kyle Manungai hasn't been out there and then because Roshan Johnson had fumbled the
35:43week prior, he gets just completely loaded up with carries and they don't want him to be touching the ball. I think it was 26 times. The good news is
35:51we can't call this a by-week, but we're going from Thursday night football, skipping to Sunday, skipping Monday, and then going all the way to the following
35:58Monday Night Football here. So, it's as big of a break as you can get for DeAndre Swift. I'm expecting Kyle Manungai to play, at least in this
36:06ranking. Uh so, that's why I'm a little bit lower on him. Uh Kyle Manungai, it was like either week seven or week eight
36:12was kind of the the um estimation when he went down with this turf toe injury.
36:17Um it's a big game in Seattle on top of that. And then we just get to the matchup where it's like, you know, the
36:22Seahawks are the best rushing defense in of the decade because going back from last year to this year is the best. You
36:28are not running on them period. Even if you're Ben Johnson and the DeAndre Swift uh Bears here. So I think they're good
36:35enough where they're going to like have moments. He's going to catch some passes. He can score goal line touchdown because the offense is in a complete
36:40rhythm, but they're projected for 21 and three/4ers points. And I'm gonna guess there's gonna be a little bit more Caleb running around, you know, some more
36:47design stuff and hopefully they can get Roma Dunce over the top or something like that. Um, so yeah, it's the worst
36:52spot for DeAndre Swift the entire year.
36:55>> Totally agree. Yeah, as I'm saying that, I think the line has moved to four and a half. No, it is. It is still three and a
37:01half. It opened as four and a half.
37:02That's my fault. Okay, we'll move on.
37:05Jordan Mason at the Detroit Lions is next. Uh, is this ranking with or without Aaron Jones in mind?
37:13>> This is without Aaron Jones. Too early in the week to tell. Uh, read words in 2026 over on Yahoo Sports and I'll have
37:20a full um my my rankings updated. Uh, just zooming out, the Vikings have averaged 18.5 expected half PPR points to the running back room collectively.
37:29When Aaron Jones had the backfield to himself, he was the RB7, 18, 15, and 18 from weeks two to week uh five. Uh, and
37:37he basically wasn't coming off the field. I think that would remain true if Jordan Mason was a starter. He's not going to catch as many passes as Aaron
37:43Jones. Like that would be like the the little bit of a difference there. Um so if Aaron Jones misses, like we're we're
37:48in a good spot against uh the Lions.
37:50Team total is almost at 22 points. I think if if Aaron Jones and Mason were both active, but Jones was like missing
37:56practices. I initially had them rank like RB 27, RB28 back to back. Uh where you at with the Vikings backfield?
38:06Yeah, I'm that they might make a trade for somebody. That's where I'm at with them. Like Tony Hall.
38:13>> Yeah. Oh, Bruce Hall is an interesting name. What you you threw that out. Bree Hall is the next name we're going to
38:17talk about here. Uh Bruce Hall just signed a contract extension this off seasonason, but do you think that they're in the boat of acquiring as many
38:25assets as possible for the 2027 class and they might feel like Brilan Allen is a better fit for their system?
38:32>> Uh partially, yes. They also the way they did that contract, it was not a contract that makes him untradeable.
38:39Like they set up that contract where they can get out of it. And that was like the part that I was like, okay,
38:42that was kind of interesting there. And Brilan Allen's played well. And I think Bree Hall would like probably goes for what, a third or fourth round pick.
38:49Fourth round pick. Um something like that. There's you would be inheriting uh his contract for like the next couple seasons. Like this is like a one-year
38:55rental. So I can see the Jets getting like a fourth third fourth round pick um at this point. and Muji feels like he's
39:00building for the long term unlike Aaron Glenn and I think they like Brillin Allen. Um so I can see Bree getting
39:08traded uh for this week. Um very difficult ranking because we're just like trying to get what the split's going to be. I kind of like I'm
39:14estimating like 6040 leaning towards Bree Hall. This team has averaged uh 18.2 expected half PPR points based off their usage collectively. If we give him
39:2260% of that that's like you know 11 fantasy points. In weeks one through three when he was like the clear starter
39:27that was almost at 14 points. So, I'm expecting a decrease usage for Bree Hall. I think that's pretty fair. I'm going 6040 for now. What do you think?
39:34>> Yeah, I mean, the opening three games of the season, he was at 7178 and 93% of the backfield touches. I I don't think
39:41it's going to be close to that. Yes, 6040 makes the most sense. Uh, I will say the Raiders have been run on by
39:46everyone this season from Amaran Hampton to the Saints backfield. The Saints backfield that was just out carried by Aaron Rogers uh to Arandre Stevenson. So
39:56the combination of Bree Hall and Bround I think is going to get home here against the Raiders defense >> showcase for the trade.
40:03>> There you go. Yeah. I mean and part of that Hayden like Aaron Jones is on a one-year rental, you know, one-year
40:08deal. So maybe they view Bree as like the long-term answer for this team.
40:13Okay. Ali Gordon is next.
40:17I think we can leave him in B tier. Yes, I mean this is against the New England Patriots who have a really strong
40:23defensive front, but Ali Gordon is the man in this backfield and it feels like every single week, no matter who the
40:29opponent is, he has some type of explosive play.
40:33>> He's been very good and I've liked what the offense looks like on the ground game. They're making things up and I'm
40:38I'm liking what I'm seeing. I think the offensive line uh is what I thought it was, which is underrated. Like they got
40:44a decent decent enough offensive line.
40:46The Patriots run defense hasn't been quite as dominant as it was last year, but if you include like last year's numbers, like that was one of the best
40:52running defenses in the league. Um, they're getting healthier on the defense as well. Um, yeah, Ollie Gordon, it's benefiting because they have a uh
41:01they're 31st in neutral pass rate at 43%. So, Ollie Gordon's getting a bunch of touches. He's getting goal line all the goal line work on top of that. They
41:08haven't used Malik Willis as like a goal line threat as much as I thought they could have this year and that's
41:13obviously been helping Ali Gordon get home.
41:16I think I saw Kaden Proctor on the injury report. It might have been a concussion, but uh concussions haven't met as much in 2026 as they have over
41:24the last few seasons. Do you see that, too?
41:28>> Concuss. Yeah, he's in the concussion protocol. So, we'll see.

42:26Okay, Tony Pard is next. I can put him in the Dtier or the Btier if you want me to.
42:33>> I think that's fair. I mean, he's got the same team total as Ollie Gordon and he just went crazy. So, let's put Tony
42:38Pard in the B tier. This is at the Cincinnati Bengals and he is coming off easily his best performance of the
42:43season. Uh, talk to me.
42:46>> Yeah, the problem is now you get the Bengals. The Bengals have been uh I I had to chart EPA per carry allowed and
42:52then rushing success rate allowed and the Bengals on the very bottom left of that corner like complimentary. That's the Dexter Lawrence factor. I will also
42:58shout out Boy Maf has been an awesome signing for the Bengals. Uh, so teams have been struggling to run against Cincinnati. I think that makes sense.
43:06Now, you can beat up on their linebackers if you get into the perimeter. If you can get them in the receiving game, like you can get uh
43:11these linebackers still pretty exposed.
43:13Um yeah, they shut down Derrick Henry like up the gut last last week. I think like you're not going to be able to run
43:20up the middle against them. So, you have to use Tony Pard creatively. We'll see if TyJ Spears misses like he did this uh
43:26last week as well. I don't think that was the reason why Tony Pard got home.
43:29Like, the reason they got home is because that game was close like the first time. Um I'm not sure if this
43:34game's going to be close. It was a 10-point spread. um in favor of Cincinnati.
43:38>> Yeah, the Dexter Lawrence stuff. It's if you can block him, you can have a decent day against the Bengals. If you can't,
43:44he's just going to take over and destroy everything.
43:47>> Yep.
43:47>> Okay, let's talk Blake Cororm. He's your running back 24. That makes him a running back, too, technically. Uh this is against the LA Chargers, like we
43:56talked about. High team total, big favorites. It is one of those contests where in tied and positive game scripts, uh Blake Cororm and Kairen Williams
44:07split this thing 5545.
44:09>> Totally agrees. His last three weeks have been RB 15,4 and 15. Uh last week was a season high for him in expected
44:16fantasy points at 14. I think that makes sense because they don't have Dvonte Adams. I think they're going to probably, you know, they have a chance
44:22to run the ball a little bit more at the goal line. and Blake Corm had a second half um uh uh goal line attempt um and
44:30the team total is really high. The Chargers defense like that's another team that could be you know fielding phone calls like Khalil Mack Dwin James
44:36like those type of players could be on the move uh for the Chargers. We'll see what they look like out of the buy if
44:41they have any signs of life. Um but just in general the Rams can only do so much on offense. They're going to use all the
44:47three tight ends and typically you're not going to pass as much out of those sets. Uh and that's going to be helpful
44:51for both running backs. Let's talk Quinchan Judkins as running back 25.
44:56This is at the Pittsburgh Steelers. Uh the Steelers are allowing just 10 rushing points to opposing backfields.
45:03That's fifth best in this first match up. Hayden Quinch did most of his work in the receiving department. Caught six passes for 43 yards. That's much less
45:12possible now with Dylan Samson back in the fold.
45:15>> Yep. All the rushing stats, you know, uh the targets, the the receiving snaps, like all that type of stuff was just way
45:21down. He had one catch last week, 17 carries. That's what's going to look like more most of the time. But the 17
45:27carries are going to be harder to do if you're not winning games like the Browns have recently as well. So yeah, I think
45:32the best of Quinch Judkins is probably already came and went and then I think he's going to settle in as a flex play.
45:38Uh last week he was the RB3, hit a couple of explosives. I thought he looked good in that game. I thought
45:43Spencer Feno looked amazing, their new left tackle, the first rounder. He was the RB22 in usage because the receiving game kind of worked. uh went away from
45:52him and yeah, they're three-point dogs.
45:54So, I think he's a a nice flex play.
45:57It's going to be there's going to be some duds in there and then I I think he's good enough to have some big
46:01moments still.
46:02>> Love that. Rashad White is your running back 26. We have no Bill Crosky Merritt and so his competition is Austin Eckler
46:11and Jeremy McNichols.
46:13>> Yes. Um, they do like Jeremy McNichols right off the gut though. And >> they do.
46:19>> That's that's the concern is like Rashad White like kind of might get him there and then here comes uh Jeremy McN
46:24Nichols. We got that receiving touchdown from Rashad White which felt feels like a month ago, but that was uh this last
46:30game for them. Uh the team total is nice at 23 points. They're expected to win by a touchdown against the Eagles. The
46:37Eagles defensive tackles are awesome, but they don't care. uh an effort is a big part of playing in the NFL and the
46:43rest of the defense has not been very good. So like I'm not even going to call this a like a I'm not going to say it's
46:48a good matchup or a bad match up. I think it's just kind of more neutral.
46:51We'll see what version of the Eagles we get here. Uh but they did sign Rashad White like on the first day of free
46:56agency like for a reason. Like we can only be so scared of Austin Eckler and Jeremy McNichols. Um so I'm kind of
47:01riding.
47:02>> Yeah, I think that's very fair. Like Philly has gotten some real bad bang for their draft picks and bucks uh at the
47:10defensive tackles right now, but that can easily turn around if they just care a little bit more.
47:15>> We'll see. It's harder to care when you're two and whatever.
47:18>> I'm I hear you. I hear you. Okay.
47:21Omar and Hampton off a by-week is your running back 27.
47:26This against the Rams. Um I mean Kamani Vidal and Keaton Mitchell all exist here too. So if Hampton doesn't catch passes
47:33in a game where they're projected for this few amount of points, then you're just hoping for a goal line touchdown.
47:38>> Yeah, he did catch four passes the last game out, you're coming out of the buy.
47:42Like you can only make a narrative based case for Amari Hampton. Like there's nothing about his tape. There's nothing about the spreadsheets that would say
47:49that he should even be the RB27. Like the only things I'm kind of thinking of is like, okay, the defensive tackles and edge group for
47:56the Rams right now feature a bunch of backups.
47:59Maybe with the by-week they kind of self- scouted and like how are we going to figure out to get Omari and Hampton
48:04downhill a little bit more. Maybe they introduce a little bit more duo type of runs and stuff. I don't think they'll be
48:08that successful, but if there was going to be a time for them to kind of change up the scheme a little bit, you would
48:13assume it'd be after the by-week and like changing up the scheme is going to be helpful helpful for Omar and Hampton
48:20because he was such a bad fit and so terrible at it earlier this year.
48:23>> Yep. Okay. Emanuel Wilson is up against the Chicago Bears. The Seahawks are favored by a number of points in this
48:33game. Like we said, it's three and a half. They're at home. Um, this Dennis Allen defense is pretty fun in terms of
48:40sending Kyler Gordon on blitzes over and over and over again. Hayden, we have some murky situations here with the other Seahawks backs. Like Zack Charminy
48:49sounds like he's going to practice this week. You know, Jiren Price's practice window has been opened. So, is this all dependent on what happens in
48:57an update you have coming on Sunday?
48:59>> Yes, this current ranking assumes Charbanet is back. I saw another report that he's expected to play in week eight and that would make sense uh to me based
49:08off of, you know, the injury timeline that we're talking about. And then I'm expecting Jadarian Price to miss once more because they're just opening up his
49:14his window and typically teams don't return players in the first week after opening their window. So if it is Charbanet and Emanuel Wilson with kind
49:23of George Hani kind of floating out there, I'm going to guess Emanuel Wilson is like getting so like you know 8 to 12
49:29carries and then Charbanet is getting kind of ramped up. I think Charban is very live to steal some like high value
49:35touches but Emanuel Wilson is also a really big guide at the goal line too.
49:39So it might not be as simple as Charbanet subs in. Um team total is nice at 25. But then you get Quinton Nelson,
49:47which is going to be extremely helpful.
49:49Uh the Seahawks had the worst yards for contact on carries between the B gaps and now you have the best left guard in
49:54the game and you'll be able to move Gray's Ael either to left guard or to right guard or center here as well. So I
49:59think that'll be helpful on the margins.
50:00Um what would you do if it was Jesse Emanuel Wilson Charbanet?
50:05If >> it was Jesse Man, my thing with Zack Sharp, if he's coming in, he's going to play the exact role he did last year,
50:12but maybe even slightly minimized. Yes.
50:14So instead of even coming in at the 20 yard line, he might just come in at the 10 yard line. Like that is where Emanuel
50:20Wilson scores fancy points is touchdowns.
50:23>> Yeah. But it also could be like every other goal line drive, you know, like there's there's >> nobody knows. If you're listening to a
50:31show and they're telling you that they know what's going to happen, they don't.
50:33So we're all guessing.
50:34>> Yeah. I mean, again, it was a long time ago. It didn't even feel like an every other drive type thing last year with
50:40the Seahawks. It was between the 20s, we got Ken, and then inside the 20, it is Zack Sharpet. And if that happens again,
50:47then like again, the Emanuel Wilson value goes poof.
50:51>> Yes. I will just say that Emanuel Wilson's 230 lbs as well. Like he's nowhere near Kenneth Walker. They shouldn't have been subbing out
50:58>> Kenneth Walker is also a much better football player in every yard line than Emanuel Wilson was.
51:04>> But have you seen Charbanet's thigh recently?
51:07>> I I I hear you. Yeah, th this one I have no idea what to do with. And then unfortunately, probably when we head to
51:13week nine, we're going to have to reset it again once Darren Price gets in the fold, too.
51:18>> I think Price will have some nice moments down the stretch.
51:21>> Okay. Hope so. Rico Dattle is your running back, 29. We already talked about Jaylen Warren. Anything you want to add here for Rico?
51:29>> Uh, four appearances this season. He's the RB 36 and expected points. I think he's running pretty decently and I trust
51:35the offensive line here. Uh Gamecript is okay. They're three-point favorites.
51:39Team total is more mediocre here. Um yeah, I think he's a flex play. We're throwing darts. He has to score a
51:44touchdown, though. I I think like his six receptions last week, like that was just like completely out of nowhere. I don't think that we should be chasing
51:52those. Maybe I'm wrong, though.
51:54>> And Brilan Allen I put right next to him, too. Yeah.
51:57>> Uh again, another learning moment from us in terms of what this backfield will look like hopefully with Brie Saul back.
52:04Yeah, I have uh Breon Allen with just 6.3 expected points in the three games with Bree Hall. I think he's earned more
52:10work than that, but the starting point being starting with the six expected points is not great. Um if we do the
52:1560/40 thing with him, like that would be getting, you know, eight nine fantasy points.
52:20>> Okay.
52:22Zack Shar, is he Dtier?
52:25>> I would say so. I I don't like it would be surprising to me if like immediately back they're like here comes 14 touches,
52:33you know? Yeah, >> I think they're gonna try to get >> Yeah, I think it, you know, and like it wouldn't be shocking if Brayen Allen had
52:3814 touches to me. Like I'm not expecting that, but it wouldn't be shocking.
52:42>> Now, this Kangai one, we don't know if he's playing like he he hasn't practiced so far this week, I believe. Um the
52:49other part though is when he last did play, he was really eating into the workload and he was really good. We
52:55don't know after this groin injury if if that's going to remain the same. So, this one's also tough for me where
53:03if he just plays, I would want to start him. No, I wouldn't because it's the Seattle Seahawks.
53:09>> I know that's a thing.
53:10>> Yeah, >> but like I think it would then still become a 5545 type thing. You know, >> he should go ahead of Charbanet for sure
53:21because more he's just more likely to play. I mean, we got to find I'm hoping when I sit there and do the wide
53:28receiver rankings, >> there's more names that come to my mind because these these are going to be some tough tough flex options um down the
53:36stretch here.
53:37>> Well, I'll just throw them all on the table. It's Tyler Algier, then you have Mike Washington, and you have R.J.
53:42Harvey, and the three Broncos running backs and Harvey, Donins, and Coleman.
53:47Uh talk to me about the law firm there in Denver.
53:51>> Oh, man. Um, well, Dobbins started the game. Dobbins had the goal line carry. RJ Harvey's by far the most lethal through the air and
54:02and they are expected to, you know, it's a close game. They're expected to lose in Kansas City. And then Jonah Coleman
54:08uh cleaned up in the second half of that game and Shawn Payeyton likes them. But if you just like look at this backfield,
54:16they're on average like getting 18 expected points and now we're going to be chopping that up three different ways. like that's, you know, we're kind
54:22of flirting in like the sixes for expected points. The markets aren't helping us at all. They're kind of diving this thing up three different
54:28ways. Um, you know, it's like pick which narrative that you like. Like what's your favorite bias? Do you like the PPR
54:33scam, then go RJ Harvey. If you like rookies and rookies always fall out, then go Jonah Coleman. If you like just
54:38the starting running back and who's going to get the touch the first time around, that's been JK Dobbins. Um, I don't have this issue. I didn't draft
54:46any of these guys. Uh, but I know that you guys did. Uh, what's your thoughts?
54:50No, I mean I'm just wondering if Shawn Payeyton is a Jonah Coleman guy. He keeps talking as if he is, but we also,
54:58you know, get other elements of RJ Harvey receiving role, explosive plays, JK Dobbins, goal line touchdown, and then does any of it matter? Like I I
55:09I think in certain by-weeks and in certain games where this team is favored, you can start one of them if you really need to. But I wouldn't do it
55:18in a game where they're facing the Chiefs and they're projected for just 19 and a half points as home underdogs.
55:23>> Right.
55:24>> This is not the situation where I would take the leap on on one of the Broncos guys.
55:29>> I agree. I also say I will say Shawn Peyton not a JK Dobbins guy. They signed him and then they resigned him this last
55:36year and they gave him $16 million. Like you know se seven weeks have gone by and before those games they gave him $16
55:44million. Um, so yeah, I don't think it's as simple as like one's just Shawn Peyton's guy and he's just gonna like run away with this
55:53thing. Like I think all the all three of these guys are his guys. He drafted RJ Harvey in the second or third round,
55:58whatever it was. They signed JK Dobbins twice and then they drafted Jonah Coleman. So, I don't know.
56:03>> I hear you. All right, that's going to do it. As always, you can check out Hayden's updated rankings with all the
56:09injuries and such uh down in the description below over on Yahoo. and we'll be here with the wide receiver rankings on Friday. So, shout out to We
56:18Mosha behind the scenes and you all for watching. Up the villa, everyone. We'll talk to you guys soon.
