Aaron Rodgers

PositiveProjection20:34

Aaron Rodgers is recommended as a DFS 'Galaxy Brain' play; he is currently 'balling out' with nine passing touchdowns over the last three weeks and an average of 275.3 passing yards per game. The matchup against the Buccaneers is favorable because they blitz at a top-five rate but rank dead last in pressure rate, which suits Rodgers' pocket-passing style.

Insight page

Braelon Allen

NegativeValue25:27

The source debates whether Jaylen Warren should be ranked ahead of Braelon Allen, suggesting that Allen is the only player in the RB14 range they might disagree with ranking ahead of Warren.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveUsage36:44

Brock Bowers is the consensus TE1 for the week and a mandatory start. He functions as a primary pass catcher for the Raiders, effectively operating as a WR1/WR2. He currently ranks first among all tight ends in yards per route run, serving as the benchmark for efficiency at the position. His high-level production persists even against defensive efforts to slow him down, and he previously demonstrated his upside by exceeding 80 yards in a game against the Chiefs.

Insight page

Bryce Young

PositiveProjection5:52

The source believes current projections for Bryce Young are too low, noting he is the QB3 in fantasy points per game and ranks eighth in EPA per dropback. He is considered a viable streaming option for Week 6, supported by the offense's high pace and pass rate.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

PositiveProjection50:30

CeeDee Lamb is a must-start, benefiting from a matchup against a Packers defense that struggles against outside wide receivers.

Insight page

Chase Brown

NegativeBust17:48

The source questions Chase Brown's talent, suggesting his struggles might be linked to his identical twin brother, Sydney Brown, who is also underperforming in the NFL despite being the higher-drafted prospect.

Insight page

Chris Godwin

NegativeValue22:02

Chris Godwin is considered a poor fantasy option, currently ranked as the wide receiver 60 and described by the source as 'buried' in terms of value.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

NegativeUsage5:48

Chuba Hubbard is a consistent producer who has finished as a top-12 running back every week he has played; however, the source is skittish on starting him as an RB14 this week because the Eagles defense is strong against the run, allowing under four yards per carry.

Insight page

Dallas Goedert

PositiveProjection3:35

Dallas Goedert is a comfortable start and a star-level producer; he historically averages fringe WR1 numbers, approximately 16 fantasy points per game, when A.J. Brown is sidelined.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

PositiveProjection39:50

Dalton Kincaid is a strong start candidate for a 'squeaky wheel' game following coach Joe Brady's admission that he needs to get Kincaid more involved. Despite recent low target volume, Kincaid remains highly efficient, ranking second among tight ends in yards per route run, trailing only Brock Bowers. He is a strong play for the upcoming week, particularly due to a favorable matchup against a Raiders defense that ranks in the bottom six against tight ends.

Insight page

Dameon Pierce

NegativeUsage3:47

Dameon Pierce is projected as a low-end RB2 and is considered worth a flex start due to a favorable matchup against the league's worst run defense, though the source remains skeptical regarding his efficiency and potential for a full workload.

Insight page

Darnell Washington

PositiveSleeper16:16

Darnell Washington is highlighted as a 'skank tight end' DFS play against the Buccaneers. He has a higher target per route run rate (2.1) against single-high coverage than DK Metcalf (0.86), and his route participation has increased to 45-50% in recent games.

Insight page

Davante Adams

PositiveUsage30:24

Davante Adams is a less favorable start in his current matchup, as the source notes his target share has declined significantly since Puka Nacua returned to the lineup.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

PositiveProjection3:35

DeVonta Smith is considered a comfortable start and a star-level player; he maintained a 29% target share prior to his hamstring injury and is expected to perform as a fringe WR1.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

NegativeProjection16:16

The source believes DK Metcalf's fantasy projection is too high due to poor efficiency, ranking 115th in yards per route run (1.18) despite averaging 7.4 targets per game. He does maintain a 31% target share when Aaron Rodgers is blitzed, but his overall efficiency is described as pathetic.

Insight page

Dontayvion Wicks

NegativeRole8:30

The source has no interest in starting Dontayvion Wicks, citing his lack of production and the fact that he was being out-alphaed by Darius Cooper; his outlook is further dampened by the return of DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert to the offense.

Insight page

Emeka Egbuka

PositiveProjection20:13

Emeka Egbuka is struggling, ranking 101st in yards per route run. While he has a 25% target share over his last two games, the source attributes his early-career success to running 'insanely hot' on 50/50 balls and expresses skepticism about his long-term outlook, suggesting he would only have a better future if utilized as a full-time slot receiver.

Insight page

George Pickens

PositiveProjection50:30

George Pickens is a must-start, as the Packers' defense is vulnerable to outside wide receivers, allowing the sixth-most fantasy points per game to that position.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

NegativeUsage34:47

J.K. Dobbins' role is in decline, with his share of the backfield's expected fantasy points (XFP) falling to 38% or less in three consecutive weeks, signaling a potential end to his fantasy relevance.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

PositiveMatchup6:37

Jaylen Coker is returning from injury and is in a great spot for production, as the Eagles defense allows the most fantasy points per game to opposing slot wide receivers.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

NegativeInjury0:59

Jalen Hurts is out for Week 6 and likely multiple weeks beyond due to a superficial blood clot; additionally, the source expresses concern regarding his fantasy ceiling due to a notable decline in rushing production despite his current status as the QB2 on the season.

Insight page

Jalen McMillan

PositiveRole18:54

Jalen McMillan is an interesting flex option who has secured the slot receiver role, evidenced by a 79% route share in Week 5. While he faces a tough matchup against Jamel Dean, the source likes his upside.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveProjection47:06

James Cook is a clear start with a secure role; while Ty Johnson and Ray Davis rotate in, they are limited to passing downs, leaving Cook's playing time safe. He is positioned for a 'get right' game against the Raiders, as he leads all running backs in explosive play rate over the last five games and benefits from an offensive line that leads the league in yards before contact per attempt (3.65).

Insight page

Jameson Williams

NegativeProjection26:50

Jameson Williams is projected to potentially disappoint in Week 6. While ranked as WR23, the source notes this is low given his volume, but justified by the Rams' defensive strength against the deep ball and Williams' own negative catch rate on deep targets.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

PositiveProjection50:30

Javonte Williams is a must-start this week, as the Packers' defense is highly vulnerable to running backs, allowing the second-most fantasy points per game to the position.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

NegativeValue23:49

Jaylen Warren is ranked as RB14, averaging 163 yards from scrimmage over his last three games. The source expresses hesitation about ranking him higher than peers like James Cook, Javonte Williams, or Chuba Hubbard, and notes that the likely return of Rico Dowdle could eat into his workload.

Insight page

Josh Allen

NegativeUsage70:02

Josh Allen is struggling with a high turnover-worthy throw rate and is forcing plays, leading to a passing offense overly reliant on short, behind-the-line-of-scrimmage dump-offs. The source notes his completed air yards in recent games were extremely low, highlighting a reliance on the run game and individual efforts from receivers like Khalil Shakir to sustain the offense.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

NegativeProjection33:53

Justin Herbert is ranked as the QB27 by Chris Wesseling, reflecting a poor fantasy outlook driven by the Chargers' offensive struggles and a lack of elite production over his career.

Insight page

Kirk Cousins

PositiveProjection48:46

Kirk Cousins is a strong streaming option and a fringey QB1, ranked by the source as a top-tier play behind only Jalen Hurts. This recommendation is driven by the Bills' defense, which allows the third-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

PositiveUsage28:31

Kyren Williams is positioned for a productive outing as the Rams are heavy favorites against the Cardinals. The source expects him to benefit from significant garbage-time usage, leading to a high volume of carries and touchdown opportunities alongside Blake Corum.

Insight page

Ladd McConkey

NegativeUsage34:59

Ladd McConkey is considered untrustworthy for fantasy lineups due to persistent injury issues and minimal usage. In his last active game, he recorded only a 32% route share and a 1.9% XFP.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

PositiveMatchup25:47

Michael Wilson faces a difficult matchup against the Rams, who allow the fourth-fewest fantasy points to outside wide receivers. The source is concerned about a potential shadow matchup against Trent McDuffie, despite Wilson's high target share and top-10 XFP per game.

Insight page

Pat Freiermuth

NegativeValue17:26

The source explicitly states that Pat Freiermuth's current ranking as the TE12 is too high.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

PositiveProjection30:01

Puka Nacua is a strong start following a 24-target performance on Monday Night Football. The source suggests his current WR14 projection may be too low, though they note concerns regarding his injury history and the physical toll of his high workload.

Insight page

Tanner McKee

NegativeProjection1:45

Tanner McKee is the replacement starter for Jalen Hurts, but the source is not high on his outlook, ranking him ahead of only Kim Ward among starting quarterbacks in their projections.

Insight page

Tre Tucker

PositiveMatchup49:17

Trey Tucker is a recommended start due to a favorable schematic matchup. The Bills allow the most fantasy points to outside wide receivers, which is where Tucker runs 80% of his routes.

Insight page

Trey McBride

PositiveUsage27:22

Trey McBride remains a high-volume asset with a 35% first-read target share, described by the source as 'so money.' While the Rams defense allows the fewest fantasy points per game to tight ends, McBride's outlook is bolstered by his consistent target share and the potential for garbage-time volume in the fourth quarter.

Insight page

Tyler Higbee

PositiveValue31:07

Tyler Higbee is considered an 'absolute smash' play for Week 6, with the source ranking him as TE9 compared to the consensus TE16. Over the last three weeks, he has averaged 7.7 targets, 70.7 yards, and 15.8 expected fantasy points (XFP) per game, which ranks second at the position. His outlook is further improved by a favorable matchup against an Arizona defense that struggles to defend tight ends.

Insight page

Xavier Worthy

NegativeUsage36:55

While the source expresses skepticism regarding his talent, Xavier Worthy is expected to inherit the valuable role vacated by Rashee Rice. This role, which involves frequent screen targets, provides a solid fantasy floor and potential ceiling, making him a viable flex option during a bye-week-heavy period.

0:00Week six start sit here on the fantasy football daily show with Scott and Brett on the Fantasy Points YouTube channel.
0:09Scott, we have eight or sorry, seven more games to get through, but then at the end of the show, you're going to
0:15take us through your series, a fiveminute discussion on Man of Renown, I believe. I don't know who it is yet.
0:23We'll find out at the end. And I'm going to allow you to go longer than five if you need to. Okay. I think you've
0:29deserved it. You won the bet. You pointed out I went for 15 minutes on the cooking segment. That was with me
0:35sprinting, by the way. I was like sweaty after at the end of that cuz I was talking too fast. But >> yeah.
0:46>> Are you serious?
0:48What?
0:50That's awesome. That's so sick.
0:57Hey guys, a quick little update for you.
0:59Jaylen Herds is out. He has a superficial blood clot. We're not sure how long he's going to be out, but he's
1:05certainly going to miss week six and likely multiple weeks beyond that. His replacement is Tanner McKe, Mike Rener's guy. Tanner McKe only two career starts.
1:17Was a sixthround pick two years ago, but you know, our friend Mike Rener, much higher on him. uh only two career starts
1:25but uh a higher adjusted net yards per attempt than than Jaylen Herz over the last two years. I've seen some optimism.
1:32You have Greg Cassell saying, "Hey, you know, Jaylen Herd's a much better talent than Tanner McKe, but you know, he struggles with timing and anticipation.
1:42Um we know this offense was kind of designed heavy 11 personnel for more uh under center drop backs, more throws over the middle. Jaylen Herz has never
1:51really thrown over the middle throughout his career with like five different offensive coordinators, always a bottom three rate of that. Um, I wonder if
2:00maybe this is the thing to save Mai Lemon who looks like a complete and total bust. Um, but yeah, it's, you
2:06know, Tanner McKe we're not high on. He ranks ahead of only Kim Ward among starting quarterbacks in our projections, but you know, barely any
2:15movement on everyone else. Uh Devont Smith is still a fringe wide receiver one for for us. Dallas Goddard a low-end tight end one in our projections. And uh
2:27Damen Pierce low-end RB2.
2:31Uh you know certainly not one I feel all that confident in, but it's just you know a week with buys. Uh not a ton of
2:38competition for snaps. And so uh that's the update I have for you. Uh, we'll we'll go ahead and Yeah, that's it.
2:49If you're new here, which a lot of you are, don't forget to subscribe. Click the bell for notifications so you never
2:54miss an upload from Brett and Scott. All right, let's dive in.
3:00Game eight of 14. The Carolina Panthers are traveling to Philadelphia. This spread has been all over the place. At one point it flipped all the way back on
3:10its head and was actually Panthers favored on the road, but it is now back in the Eagles court. They are favored by
3:16half a point, overunder of just 39.5.
3:20Vegas thinks this is going to be a lowscoring game.
3:23Let's start on the Panthers side of the ball.
3:26>> Yeah. So, my key stat here is you what we've been saying on some of these shows is like this offense looks awesome.
3:34Yeah, I I did not see this coming at all. You know, a big-time Bryce Young hitter, but this offense looks ripe with
3:43fantasy potential. Uh Carolina right now is the second fastest offense by pace of play by pass rate over expectation.
3:50They're second highest and that is just a recipe for a ton of fantasy goodness.
3:57Looks like we're get we're getting Jaylen Coker back. Uh and it's a great spot for it. He, you know, before that
4:05injury, he was, there were questions of who's the real wide receiver one in this offense. I know T McMillan had like an
4:1218 catch game, but uh 17.5 XFP per game.
4:16That's top 10. Uh he ranked top 12 in in inseparation score. And he runs about 45% of his routes from the slot. The Eagles are
4:26giving up the most fantasy points per game to opposing slot wide receivers.
4:30They rank sixth best against outside wide receivers, top 10 against tight ends. What does that mean? This is a slot funnel. Looks like Jaylen Coker is
4:40going to get the better matchup here, but uh you know, you and I both agree Ted McMillan probably probably the wide receiver one. Probably
4:50the guy who's going to uh have better XFP per game by the end of the year and whatnot. So, uh, they're both checking
4:57in as what, mid-range wide receiver twos. Chuba Hubard, who we like. Uh, he and Kenneth Walker right now are the only running backs to finish top 12 in
5:08fantasy points every single week that they've played. And so, you know, despite what honestly is probably it's probably neutral at worst, well,
5:20you know, maybe it's a little a little bit tougher. So, the Eagles are giving up a lot of the 15th most fantasy points
5:26per game to running backs, but based on the volume they faced, like they're they're nearly best in the league by fantasy points over expectation. So,
5:34it's just like blowout scripts they're getting run on, but they're actually pretty decent at defending the run.
5:40Nonetheless, he's been an RB1 every week thus far. It's really good volume. Uh, and so, yeah, I I like this fringe RB1
5:48for Chuba Hubard, mid-range wide receiver, two for the wide receivers.
5:52Bryce Young.
5:54Maybe we're a little too low on Brett because he's right now the QB3 by fantasy points per game. He's eighth in
6:02EPA per dropback. I talked about the the the pace of play, the pass rate over expectation. And the Eagles bottom 12 in
6:10fantasy points per game to quarterbacks.
6:12What do you think?
6:14>> Yeah, for one, I I think Chris's projections here reflect what Vegas thinks.
6:20Um, I believe this game goes o over.
6:23>> I'm with you.
6:23>> You have a team in the Panthers that can score and you have a defense in the Panthers who are bad. That should pay,
6:30you know, push the pace of this game up quite a bit. So, even though the Eagles offense has struggled, I think they
6:35should be able to match with the Panthers and uh I think we go over here.
6:39And so, yeah, I agree. I think I think we're a little light on the Bryce Young projection. I like that T and Coker are
6:45pinched. Um, as you mentioned, the Eagles pass defense is terrible against slot receivers. 35 receptions given up to slot receivers already. That's seven
6:55a game. And, you know, Coker plays a a large swath of his uh, snaps from the slot. So, I think this is a really good
7:04spot for Coker. I'm a little skittish, a little more skittish on Chuba at RB14. I know he you just gave that amazing stat
7:11RB1 every week of the season so far, but the Eagles are really good against the run.
7:18>> Yeah.
7:19>> And um consistently good. I think they had one bad week actually and everything else has been like just locked down. So
7:27um under four yards a carry a lot on the season. You throw out the bad game, I believe that drops like 3.4 or
7:32something. So >> yeah, >> they're they're really good against the run.
7:35>> Yeah. So I'm right there with you. I think we go over here. I really like Jaylen. I like Tat. Um, and I think
7:41we're a little light on Bryce. I'm not I'm not saying Bryce is a clear QB1 start this week, but you could
7:47definitely do worse and and definitely a streaming option for you.
7:50>> Could you do worse by starting Jaylen Herz who have QB9?
7:55>> Probably.
7:56>> Seems like an Eagles fan set that projection, huh?
8:01>> Chris hates when I say that, Liz.
8:03>> Oh, me. Yeah, >> I'm a Giants fan. He's an Eagles fan.
8:05But like there's none of that with Chris. He's literally just a genius and he's best in the industry at this and
8:12much better than me. But I mean like dude, he's not running anymore. He's the QB2 on the season. Bryce Young's the
8:19QB3.
8:20>> Yeah, we Yeah, I Yeah, I don't I mean the Panthers defense is terrible, though.
8:27You think that's fueling the projection quite a bit? I'm assuming.
8:30>> Yeah, >> this is a great spot for Dantavian Wixs.
8:34>> No, it's not.
8:34>> Schematically, it is. Absolutely.
8:36>> Oh. Yeah.
8:37>> Yeah. Listen, he he he couldn't do really jack all you. He was getting out alphaed by Darius Cooper. So with
8:44Dvontis Smith and Dallas got both back.
8:47I I kind of have no interest for my own personal fantasy teams.
8:51>> It was it was one play. Just FYI.
8:54>> One play. What?
8:56>> Darius Cooper caught a 61 yard touchdown that Herz put on him. Wix >> the week before that he caught two
9:02touchdowns. Listen, I I don't actually believe that. I'm just saying he was unproductive and now you have two major target hogs coming. This is kind of
9:10we're going to see like neighbors Isaiah likely target shares for Devont Smith Dallas where they get like 66%. There's not much left over.
9:19>> Panthers are horrendous against the run.
9:22>> Depending on where what you feel about Damen Pierce, he's worth a a flex start this week in my opinion.
9:29Well, um, you know, we could have said that last week when he got all of the work after Will Shipley went down and
9:36what happened? He had >> five targets, 11 carries, and 12 total yards from scrimmage. Uh, you know, we we kept talking about this this offense
9:47being dead, the offensive line being bad.
9:50>> I kind of worry he's not going to get 100% of the work. Scott, they played Jacksonville, >> one of the best run defenses in the
9:58league. This is the worst run defense in the league.
10:00>> 5.4 yards per carry allowed on the season.
10:03>> Yeah, but it's a dude who sucks running behind an offensive line who sucks.
10:08>> We'll see.
10:09>> I mean, I I think this is You don't think he's Well, I I said fair.
10:13>> Yeah, >> I think it's worth a flex, though.
10:15>> I wouldn't put on the fence. I'd put flex.
10:17>> I'm on the fence and it's an ondefense projection. So, >> okay.
10:22Um, do you have any notes on Gddard or Smith or are they just comfortable starts?
10:27>> They're very comfortable starts. Uh, some mild hamstring risk, but Mueller, Jeff Mueller, injury expert, isn't too worried. He had a 29% target
10:38share before that injury.
10:40Dallas target shares of 20% or better in his full games. It's a top 10 matchup.
10:46It's a good schematic matchup. Uh, and historic, this is like the Isaiah likely stat is, you know, likely without Mark
10:54Andrews putting up, you know, fringe wide receiver one numbers and Dallas Gddard, same thing without AJ Brown puts up fringe wide receiver one just about
11:0616 fantasy points per game. So, um, yeah, I I I'm a little bit more bullish on Dallas. I think he's a star. Dvont
11:12Smith certainly a star.
11:15Okay, moving on to the Steelers traveling to Tampa Bay. We got an over.
11:21Is this also an overunder of 39.5?
11:23What's going on in Vegas this week? Uh Pittsburgh favored by two and a half on the road.
11:30Oo, yeah, I think I agree that Pittsburgh should be favored, but two and a half is is a bit much for a road a road team
11:38favorite that's not very good.
11:41So, what I'm really good at, Brett, is like finding these contrarian plays, guys that >> Yeah, that's that's my strength as well.
11:48>> No one else is talking. And someone did a study where they compared all the different DFS resources, who was the best at at predicting the
11:58winning Millie Maker lineup. And like my slate breakdown was better than anything else across the industry, bar none. And like that's my specialty.
12:07And >> is that why you give it up?
12:09>> What's that? Is that slight breakdown?
12:11>> Yeah. Well, I don't do it anymore. I Well, to be fair, I found people who are better than me. So, okay. Uh, that's
12:16what I did. Um, I have a Galaxy brain play of the week I want to pick your brain on.
12:23>> Is it Darnell Washington?
12:25>> Oh, that's Dro's. Shout out DR.
12:27>> Yeah, shout out Dro.
12:29>> Um, my Galaxy Brain play of the week in DFS.
12:34Aaron Rogers.
12:37Consider this. Consider this Brett. Over the last three weeks, no quarterback has as many or more passing touchdowns as Aaron Rogers. He has nine. He's
12:46averaging 275.3 passing yards per game. Uh the Buccaneers rank top five in blitz rate,
12:56dead last in pressure rate. And isn't that the most important thing for a guy who's a total statue, but still the arm
13:04talents there? Does the old man still got it? What's going on? Is he a great play this week?
13:09>> I' I've said he's still got it as long as he's in the pocket. His arm is still great. He's He's flinging that pill, you
13:16know? I This might be a little galaxy brain, but I I like it. Well, you're talking DFS, though. DFS, it's fine.
13:23100%.
13:26>> QB21 for a guy with >> Yeah, but it's the thing with quarterback. You always elegantly point this out. The projection spread on
13:34quarterback is is tight. Look at like QB 13 to QB 21. It's similar, you know. So, >> high parity position.
13:41>> High parity position. Yes. That's why it's so important matter a lot and are very predictive, >> which I've discovered in the Scott
13:48Bearbull, by the way.
13:50>> Matchups are even more important in that league.
13:53So, I carry like four quarterbacks in that league. Scott, >> I know that was that's the optimal. I I was so mad that you figured out the game
14:00theory optimal before me.
14:03You did tell me about it, which I appreciate.
14:06>> After I picked everyone up.
14:07>> That's right. That's right.
14:09>> Anyways, yeah, I I I think you're on to something here for sure. Buccaneers defense is so disappointing. You have to
14:15wonder if Todd Bulls is is on the hot seat, right? I mean, bro, he's a defensive guy and his defense is getting
14:22mollywpped every game.
14:24>> Mollywapped.
14:26That's bad.
14:27>> Yeah, >> I think >> that's bad.
14:29>> That's bad. Okay. Yeah. So, we like Jaylen Warren. Do you like him better than RB15, though? Is what I was going
14:34to ask you.
14:36Uh uh, good question. He's averaging 163 yards from scrimmage per game over his last
14:46three games. Um, it's a brutal matchup and and part of why I like Aaron Rogers here is they're a passfunnel defense.
14:55Tampa Bay allows 3.35 yards per carry to enemy running backs. you get Rico Datt back most likely. And so maybe that eats into
15:06the work a little bit even if Mike McCarthy is saying this is our our featured guy now. So I I actually kind
15:12of don't mind Rah.
15:15>> He's actually RB1 14. I just checked.
15:17>> I think Chris pushed an update. RB14 is where he's got him now.
15:20>> Okay. Well, RB RB12 probably sounds right to me.
15:25>> Okay.
15:27You like him more than Brillin Allen?
15:30You know, I I >> see I don't know.
15:33>> I look at RB14.
15:35>> I do. I do. I do.
15:36>> Okay. So, gun to my head. I look at RB14 and I'm like, yeah, it seems light. But then I look at the guys ahead of him.
15:41I'm like, you know what? Maybe Brilan Allen's the only one I disagree with.
15:44But it's like James Cook, Javvante, Chuba directly in front of him.
15:49>> Yeah.
15:49>> I don't I don't know that I would, you know, leaprog him over any of those guys. So, all right. On the Tampa Bay.
15:55Oh, actually, can we can we do the Darnell Washington thing? D Bros take.
15:58It's actually pretty interesting.
16:00>> Yeah, you you do it you do it justice here.
16:03>> So, since the start of last year, Darnell Washington actually has a higher target per route run rate than DK Metaf
16:10against single high coverage.
16:11>> Buccaneers run single high coverage at like is it the highest rate in the league?
16:16>> Yeah, by the way, it's it's not just that. Uh Tampa Bay zone 83% of the time.
16:21That's a top five rate. DK Mechaf 0.86 yards for route run against this year.
16:26and Darnell Washington against single high 2.1 yards per route run. And he's had games this year where we've seen that role bump up to like 45 to 50% of
16:35the routes. It's like a it's a skank tight end play is what it is. You know, it's like if you're desperate,
16:41>> just throw in some Darnold Washington.
16:42If you're playing DFS, you want to you want a men player, >> throw in some Darnell Washington. Have some fun stacking with Aaron Rogers.
16:49>> Yeah. So So Ryan also had a note though.
16:52Um, when Rogers is blitzed, DK Mechf has a 31% target share. That's top five.
16:59>> Target per route run jumps by 83%. And so, you know, maybe that matters here against the Blitzheavy Todd Bulls Buccaneers.
17:06>> Uh, maybe it cancels it out a little bit for DK, but dude, DK Mechaf 1.18 yards per route run ranks 115th. That's so
17:14pathetic for a guy averaging 7.4 targets per game. Um, I think that projection's too high. I think because you're you really like Darnell Washington. I think
17:26Pat Fri tight end 12. That's too high.
17:29Darnell Washington, I'm not playing. I I think that's a a fun idea.
17:34>> Yeah. You realize it's a bit, right?
17:35Like we're skank tight end. That's That's John's bit.
17:38>> Okay. Okay.
17:39>> Yeah, >> bro. They they actually uh shout out John Hansen and Brian Drake. They had a great they had a great bit uh where they
17:48were like dude does Chase Brown suck because like his twin sucks >> and it's like >> it's like dude the McCordi twins both of
17:58them were awesome >> Ronda Barber Tiki Barber >> both of them were awesome and it's like if the twin sucks
18:07maybe cuz his twin twin identical twin brother they're when you have an identical twin as far as I know you're basically a clone. Like you have the
18:15exact same DNA, right?
18:17>> And so it's like >> this guy stinks on the Eagles >> is stealing work from Chase Brown. Maybe Chase Brown stinks because Sydney Brown
18:28was the higher draft pick, too.
18:29>> He was the highly touted prospect. Yeah, >> I I thought that we we got heat for that. We posted a clip on social and and
18:36someone yelled at us for for that.
18:38>> Oh, we've been getting heat about our Chase Brown tick all week.
18:40>> I thought it was funny. Well, well, Ryan Heath doesn't like it. Uh JJ Zachary and Stat Mog me and Yeah, but we're we're not talking
18:50about the Bengals here right now.
18:51>> I know. I know.
18:52>> Let's move on to the Buccaneer side.
18:54>> Uh Jeremy Bernard, I think, is interesting.
18:57>> Yeah, >> because he gets the the McCarthy slot roll we've been talking about.
19:02>> Yeah.
19:02>> No Roman Wilson, no Michael Pitman. He had a 79% route share in week five.
19:08>> Sure. Once Roman Wilson left, he had a 40% target share.
19:15>> Problem is, Scott is he draws the toughest matchup in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers secondary. And Jacob Parish.
19:20Yep.
19:20>> Parish is a monster.
19:22>> So, >> still uh I like that projection. He's he's flex territory.
19:28>> Okay.
19:28>> Make sure you add him. Yeah. I like the upside with Jeremy Bernard.
19:33>> All right. Buccaneer side. Uh Jalon Daniels. I just want to victory lap this. By the way, >> I was uh very
19:43very uh verbose about our Jaylon Daniels projection last week. Uh that bore out to be true. Chris is adjusted accordingly now here at QB24 burying the
19:53man. So I think that's apppropo.
19:58Anyways, I don't have a ton of notes here. Like Bucky starts sit everyone else in my opinion. Probably even a mecha to me. I I don't know.
20:06>> Yeah.
20:09Yeah. Do you you agree or no?
20:13>> Dude, how over is it for Amecha Igbuka?
20:16Uh it's a neutral matchup on paper, but he's playing with this UDFA quarterback.
20:22He he does have a 25% target share over the last his last two games, but is >> he's 101st in yards per route run. He
20:32this was a guy who got a ton of hype and you know people are really excited about this year.
20:39He only has one 100yard game over the last calendar year.
20:43>> What's going on? Is it just like >> really bad luck >> and just like inoperable situation?
20:52>> It's hydrostatic equilibrium.
20:58the the water finds its level.
21:00>> Yeah. Regression to the mean. What it's actually the opposite of bad luck. It's just a return to normal luck. When he
21:06the way he started the season last year, it was he was running insanely hot on 50/50 balls down the field.
21:13>> That's right.
21:14>> Insanely hot. And so it just Yeah. When when when those start going the other way a little bit, you kind of look a
21:21little pedestrian. And that that was I don't want to do an I told you so. I was just a little I was a little softer on
21:26the Emmecha Ibuka outlook during the draft process than pretty much everybody else. Theo and I used to fight about this.
21:34>> Yeah.
21:35>> I just wasn't a huge belie I I think if if a team made him a full-time slot receiver, he'd have a better future in
21:41the NFL. What are you looking at? Can you please focus on the show?
21:44>> I'm focused. I'm >> Is there Is there a Bejian Robinson truck outside your house right now?
21:49>> No. My my wife uh was supposed to leave to work, but she just came back and parked in front of uh my window. So, I'm
21:55trying to see what she's she's up to.
21:57>> Okay.
21:59All right. So, we're out on achuka.
22:02Chris Godwin, wide receiver 60. Dude is buried. Kotton buried, >> right?
22:08>> Yep. Uh pretty much nothing here though.
22:10Let's move on.
22:13Arizona Cardinals travel to LA.
22:15>> Go back. What was the spread on this game?
22:18the spread was is Is Pit favored by two and a half on the road?
22:22>> Uh they should be favored by like six.
22:24>> You think so? Pit's not a very good team though.
22:27>> That's okay.
22:28>> That's what I was saying at the top.
22:29It's like I know the Buccaneers have been bad, but they are the home team and Pitts like you don't want to make a road
22:36team the favorite by a lot when they're not a very good It's not like they're a dominant team coming in here. This is like the league.
22:43This is a parody league, Scott.
22:45>> Yeah, I don't know about that.
22:49friendly wager.
22:51>> They have they have Jaylen No, they have Jaylen Warren who's like Teimu Bejan.
22:57They got Aaron Rogers who's balling out.
22:58No one else has noticed this except for me apparently.
23:01>> No, I've noticed it. Yeah.
23:02>> And you and you.
23:04>> Yeah. All right, we'll move on now.
23:06>> Jaylen Daniels.
23:08>> Yeah. Who is that?
23:10>> Arizona Cardinals travel.
23:12>> Take a pause. My wife is trying to talk to me.
23:24What would happen if we were live right now for the guy who wants to do live show every day? You know what what would
23:29we do? Do I just sit here talking to myself?
23:32>> Yeah, that would pretty much be it.
23:37>> It makes me nervous because I'm like I'm team. Let's do one live a week. I think that would be fun, right? But can we
23:42actually do that?
23:46And we're still not back.
23:50Okay. Okay.
23:52Everything all right, bud?
23:55>> Yeah, she she was actually on FaceTime talking to her mom. I thought she was calling me.
23:59>> Oh, okay. I will try this transition to the next game for the third time. Are you ready?
24:07The Arizona Cardinals are traveling to LA to play the Rams. The Rams are a heavy home team favorite at 12 and a
24:15half points. The overunder is 52. You don't see spreads like this very often in the NFL, especially an in division game. Um the implied point total here
24:25for the Cardinals is 19.8. For the Rams, it's 32.3.
24:30Let's start with the Cardinals. Jacobe Brassette we're listing as a sit. Is he still got the QB one streak going, Scott? Did he do it against Detroit?
24:40Uh, that's a good question. I can pull it up.
24:44>> Pull it up, man. Pull it up.
24:47And then Michael Wilson, are you concerned at all Michael Wilson draws a Trent McDuffy shadow? Debro actually asked me this question.
24:55>> I am.
24:56>> You are concerned.
24:57>> Yeah.
24:58>> I feel like they do such a good job of hiding him. It's not like Jaylen Wadd situation where it's just obvious where
25:03Wadd's going to be on every play because their play caller is a boob. Michael Wilson at least. I think the one thing
25:09Mike Lafleur has going for him is he's he's implementing a lot of good, you know, structural designs and they've done a great job hiding Wilson. Like I
25:18think they're condensing his splits on like 56% of his out wide snaps. They'll move him into slot a little bit. They'll
25:23motion him around. They'll shift him. I I think I think they can hide him from McDuffy if they want to.
25:30>> Well, you know, I think regardless, it's a really difficult matchup. The Rams are giving up the fourth fewest fantasy points per game to outside wide
25:37receivers. One of the notes I had on Michael Wilson by target share he ranks very high XFP per game he's top 10 17.5
25:45>> but he's averaging just 12.8 fantasy points per game. What's going on there?
25:50A little bit of bad luck in the touchdown department. More than that, really bad luck on the deep ball. I think he has like nine deep targets,
25:58something like that. And he's he's caught zero of them. It's, you know, one of the worst rates in the league or is
26:03the worst rate in the league. Uh, and then the R >> I don't think you could do worse than zero.
26:07>> Exactly. Um, but you'd be surprised.
26:10Jameson Williams actually has negative.
26:13So, um, the Yeah. And the Rams best uh at defending the deep ball. It's I mean, we're lower on it. Like wide
26:24receiver 23 is like typically low for him, especially given the volume. So, I I actually do think it's a spot where he
26:31can really disappoint. Uh Ryan Heath, world's biggest Kendrick Borne fan, highlighting the better slot matchup, the better schematic matchup against cover four. I think that's probably
26:42right. Uh for a defense that's really good at defending the deep ball. Um Trey McBride, you know, he's just so money.
26:5035% first read target share. Uh but the Rams are giving up the fewest fantasy points per game to tight ends. Maybe
26:57that doesn't matter. Maybe all that matters is do they double him or cloud coverage him or bracket him. Um but yeah, I I on this side it there. Listen,
27:06there's just going to be a ton of garbage time and so just what happens in the fourth quarter. Do they get some
27:12prevent defense that they can pepper Trey McBride with? I I don't know.
27:20>> Yeah, I don't I'm guessing we'll get some garbage time fun here. That's kind of the angle I wanted to take. The Rams
27:26are such heavy favorites. The Cardinals have never let us down with the garbage time stuff, right? Never.
27:33>> Well, here. So, let's move over to the Ram side. The I I I started doing a show on our YouTube channel without you. It's
27:42over on It's over on School of Scott and it's these players are going to explode or andor, you know, maybe we should
27:52ladder bet these guys. Maybe we should >> Devonte Adams.
27:57>> Well, we'll get there. I It wasn't Devont, but it's like I'm trying to pick out game of the week. I'm trying to pick
28:02out players to ladder and I'm looking at this this Rams team and I'm getting excited. I'm getting hot and bothered.
28:09We know the Cardinals are an egregiously bad defense. uh highest fantasy points per drop back allowed, second highest
28:19EPA per drop back, second highest adjusted net yards per attempt, etc. and so on.
28:26Uh but you see that 12 and a half point spread and it's like, oh, okay, maybe it's just like Kairen Williams and Blake
28:32Horm running the ball a bunch in garbage time, scoring touchdowns.
28:36But an interesting angle I had, so Rams, by the way, 33 point implied total, highest in the week by a lot. It's
28:46they're going crazy pass heavy. They they lead the league in pass rate over expectation when leading.
28:54When they're leading by nine or more points, they're all the way up at like 12.3%. Which is crazy. And so, you know,
29:03this is something that's been true for a while is like Shawn McVey just keeping his foot on the gas regardless of the
29:08score. We haven't seen this every year, but we've certainly seen it in some years. And so maybe we just get a an
29:16instance where this where Stafford and the Rams just really run up the scoreboard.
29:21>> I think it's a great call, especially because this team doesn't have room to mess around. They're two and three, >> right?
29:27>> They have a division rival that's 5-0.
29:29Like they they want to bury they want to get into this game and out as quick as possible. They want to bury this team.
29:35I'm I'm pretty confident in that.
29:37>> Um >> statement game maybe a let's let's get our confidence back on track. Stafford, you're not really playing. Well, a lot
29:44of turnover worthy throws, we'll say that.
29:48>> Yeah, I think the play for me is Devonte Adams.
29:52>> Interesting. I I would not have gone there. Um I would have went with Puka, but let's let's hear your take.
29:58>> Puka just had 24 targets on Monday Night Football.
30:01>> Oh, that's such a good take.
30:02>> Yeah, >> that's one of those things that's really important and impactful and I just kind of forget about you said it, you know,
30:08the other day, right, with with CD Lamb who >> and Pickkins. Yeah. Ah, that's a good point. I see I was going the other way
30:15because Arizona sits in too high coverage all day. Better for Puka than than Adams historically. Adams that the target share has really come down since
30:24Puka came back. But no, that's that's that's a really good angle. So, at a bare minimum, these these the wide receiver 14 projection is is good, if
30:34not maybe a little too low.
30:38>> Yeah. Uh do some research, too. I I want to look more into it like the ne after a player gets 20 targets in a game, what
30:44does their next game look like? I I want a little bit deeper history than just recently. But Puka also a guy who has
30:51been banged up too, right? He's one hit one hit away from missing time. So like I don't know that that's quite the crazy
30:59workload. 24 targets, >> right? Yeah. Guy with a pre-ports hernia injury. You know who I really like even more than Dvonte Adams?
31:07>> Tyler Higgby.
31:08>> That's right. my guy.
31:09>> Higgy's an absolute smash this week. I touted him on John's show this week.
31:13>> So why why does Chris Wex hate him? Why does the the smartest best projections guy in all of football?
31:19>> Do you want to know how bad the Cardinals are against tight ends?
31:23>> They've got nuked against KD, Isaiah likely, Sam Laora. But this is the this is the damning one.
31:29>> Week one, the Los Angeles Chargers collection of tight ends, Gadston, Kolar, and and Jooku at that time went over a 100red yards combined. Yeah,
31:38>> they literally can't stop the tight end, >> any of them.
31:42>> Yeah, dude. And Higgby is rolling over the last three weeks. 7.7 targets, 70.7 yards, 15.8 XFP per game. That's second
31:52best at the position. And like you said, Arizona top five matchup. Chris Wex has him tight end 16. I go tight end nine.
32:01Something like that.
32:02>> Um, well, let's talk about it. Tyler Hickby or Mark Andrews?
32:07Higgby.
32:09>> Trey, if you fix the slot machine, you can pull it up actually. But Higgby or Ferguson? Oh, here we go. Higgby or
32:15Conincaid. That's a great one.
32:16>> Higgby.
32:17>> Okay. Higgby or Lovelin?
32:21Skip. Love's dead. Higgby or Andrews.
32:27>> Higgby or Ferguson? Okay. Higgby or Concaid?
32:31>> We already did.
32:33>> Higgby or Frimouth?
32:34>> Higgby. Easy. Easy. He All right. Titan eight, Titan seven. That's Higgby.
32:38Higgby. Higgby. Higgby.
32:40>> Okay. Higgby. Yep. Higgby or Goddard.
32:43>> Okay. That now now we're getting to to even par.
32:46>> All right. One more. Higgby or Jawan Johnson?
32:48>> Sorry. There. I was a little early on the screen.
32:50>> Higgby.
32:52>> Higgby and Goddard.
32:54>> Oo.
32:55>> Yeah. Now we're getting close. Tucker Craft. Honestly. Honestly, probably Higgby for me.
32:59>> Okay. So, tight n >> Cowboys. It's the What am I saying?
33:02>> Higgby or Fannon? We already said Fannon's projections high. Whoa, you're like eight territory right now. Okay.
33:07>> Well, no, that's just Fannon's too high.
33:10We have our projections call today on Friday when this comes out.
33:16>> Yep. All right, cool. Let's move on.
33:20The other LA team, the Chargers, traveling to face their bitter rivals, the Kansas City Chiefs. Kansas City is a eight-point favorite at home. That's how
33:27bad the Chargers are. They're 0 and5.
33:29The overund is 42 and a half. Somehow the Chargers implied point total here is 17.3.
33:36Wow. That's worse than Jaylen Daniels.
33:39That's worse than Cam Ward.
33:40>> I know, but you see how I said somehow it's it's >> Oh, is that too high, >> bro? It's the Chiefs. It's Spagnolo.
33:47What are they gonna What are they going to possibly throw at the Char the Chiefs to score points? Nothing.
33:53>> Look at that. Justin Herbert QB27.
33:57>> Holy crap. Chris nuked him.
34:00I love it. What were you gonna say?
34:04I don't know if if the the Chargers could block here and the lads getting healthy and you know, it's kind of
34:12crazy, Brett, like I don't remember the last time an elite quarterback played this poorly for this long and really has has never looked all that much like an
34:21elite quarterback. It's It's kind of crazy just how unlucky Justin Herbert is, right?
34:30Yes. It is so crazy how unlucky Justin Herbert is.
34:35>> You just don't see elite quarterbacks go through like slumps for all five years of their career like this.
34:41>> I feel like this is like bordering on a Nor McDonald bit at this point. Just it's b it's buried in there. But you
34:47know >> I I honestly dude it's it's over for a Marian Hampton. Like what are we doing?
34:52his his back share of the backfield XFP has been 38% or less in three straight weeks.
34:59Kansas City top three in yards per carry allowed to running backs. Um Lad Maki you really can't trust, bro. He had a
35:0632% route share last week and a 1.9% XFP. He's always hurt. He's dealing with like five different things. We don't really know what it is.
35:15>> He didn't play injuries. What?
35:18>> He didn't play a snap last week, >> I don't think.
35:22He was he was active but did not play a snap.
35:25>> Maybe that's what maybe% the week before.
35:27>> Yeah, I believe they had roster issues which is why they had to keep him active.
35:33>> Uh that that's right. All right. So he was he was he was active. Didn't play last week. 35% or 30. Yeah. The week
35:39before that in and out. Uh apologies.
35:42And uh I do have one angle here.
35:48This could be a tight end smash spot.
35:51Uh the Chiefs are like far and away the biggest tight end funnel in the league.
35:55Like Bengals territory. Uh they're top five against quarterbacks, best in the league against outside wide receivers, top 12 against running backs and slot
36:03wide receivers against the tight end, second worst by like yardage, market share, dead last by a lot. And so you
36:14saw Gatson more involved last week, you saw Kolar more involved last week. There are probably worse anytime touchdown bets on the board, but uh Brett's just
36:23gonna tell us, you know, this is like >> No, I'm not gonna I'm not gonna hammer you on this. I >> The thing is is I've been when I'm doing
36:30my tight end research, I'm throwing out defenses that have already played the Raiders.
36:37>> That's fair >> because the Raiders wide receiver one and two as a tight end.
36:40>> Yeah. But it's it's also like >> and actually look at that game. Both Mayer and Bowowers went over 80 yards in
36:45that game, >> right? Which is Yeah. So you could call Bowowers a wide receiver, but then it's the tight end Mayer
36:52>> who had his best game of the year. It makes sense intuitively because >> yeah, their quarterbacks are playing out of their mind. That's also like Steve
37:01Spagnolo M.
37:02>> Sure.
37:03>> And so the soft spot to target would be tight ends >> for sure. That that's I I think what I
37:09guess what I'm trying to say is the truth is somewhere in the middle.
37:11>> Okay.
37:11>> Right. They like the you have to adjust a little bit because the Raiders two primary pass catchers are tight ends. So
37:17inherently you're going to no matter how good you are against tight ends, you're going to give up more production to tight ends against the Raiders. So and I
37:25thought they did a great job slowing down Brock Bowers, by the way. I mean he have that stat. It's called schedule
37:30adjusted fantasy points per game. It's on the site. It's in the front office tool.
37:34>> Yes. Yes. Yes. So um but I'm not saying you're crazy. I'm not saying you're crazy. Gatson is heating up like you
37:40said. May maybe he's the answer.
37:42>> Tissel plays a man, too. Gaton's a man beater. So >> yeah, Kenneth Walker 200 yard game.
37:49>> I mean, at least >> Yeah.
37:55>> Don't love Xavier Worthy as a flex, but it is a bye-week. I have to keep that in mind.
37:59>> It's a byee.
38:01>> Yeah.
38:02>> Yeah. There's four four teams on by.
38:03You're you're down 12 starting receivers in the player pool.
38:07>> So, >> yeah.
38:09So my my notes on this is this would have been an absolute smash spot for Rasheed Rice against the Chargers zoneheavy
38:17too high heavy matchup where he gets like 160% boost by targets per route run yards per route run. We hate Xavier
38:26Worthy. We think he stinks. But I kind of think he gets that role. Okay, >> with Rashi out. And that's just a super
38:32valuable role where anyone >> they throw into that role. You're getting peppered with screens which raises your fantasy floor.
38:39>> Yeah.
38:39>> Gives you a little bit of a ceiling to boot.
38:42>> Uh I I like this projection. Maybe even it's it's a little low.
38:46>> To your point, too, they've been dabbling all year with giving Worthy some of that role, right?
38:53>> So now anything to show he deserves it, but they they did they did give it a shot. Yeah, that's fair. All right,
39:01cool. Pretty straightforward on that one. Let's go to the Buffalo Bills traveling to Vegas. My guy Joe Marino will be at this game. Um, Buffalo's
39:10favored on the road by four and a half points, which seems appropriate. The overunder is 52 and a half, though, so
39:14we should get some fantasy scoring in this game, which is juicy for us. Start on the Buffalo side.
39:23Uh, is is DJ Moore officially back? Is that a thing? Well, we haven't projected back.
39:28>> Yeah, I see that. That's why I'm asking.
39:31>> Jeff originally thought he would be out until week eight. You Buffalo has this week seven buy next week. Uh, and it
39:38makes sense to rest the AC joint spring, but he was close enough to playing last week or at least beat writers were
39:44unsure of that point that makes me think, uh, yeah, he probably plays this week.
39:50>> I think this could be a squeaky wheel game for Daltton Concaid.
39:54>> Okay.
39:55Um, I don't know if you heard Joe Brady this week.
39:57>> I did. There's no reason Dalton Concade should have two targets. I got to find a way to get the ball in his hands and do
40:04a better job of that. And then the next day, I have not done a good enough job of getting him the ball.
40:09>> Excuse me, sir. I was not familiar with your game.
40:12I just randomly site coach speak and you have the quote like literally queued up.
40:18>> The heck? What the heck?
40:20>> Dude's reading my mind. So like I think he's 100% true by the way. Daltton Concaid is their best mismatch guy in
40:27this offense.
40:29The efficiency over his career has has very much shown that. Right. With no DJ Moore on the field, how are you getting
40:35Daltton Concaid two targets? That's that's embarrassing.
40:38>> So I I think he's right and I think he's going to adjust in a in a hard way.
40:43>> So one of the crazy stats I had on concade was last year JSN had an all-time season. Pukanaku had an
40:50all-time season.
40:52The third best player behind them by yards per route run was Daltton Concaid.
40:56And then this year we saw this big route share jump. He, you know, every fantasy analyst was like, "He's a league winner.
41:04I told you he's a top three tight end."
41:06And then week three, 38 yards, three targets. Week four, two targets, seven yards. Week five, a game that went
41:16to overtime. DJ Moore didn't play. Two targets, seven yards. Right. As bad as that's been, do you want to guess where
41:23Dalton Concade ranks in yards per route run?
41:27>> Oh god, is it still top 10?
41:31>> Brock Bowers ranks first. Concaid ranks second at the position.
41:35>> Stop >> crazy. Um, >> that is crazy.
41:37>> And so that's the thing with him is like, dude, he's he's nice. He's really nice. And so yeah, I I'm kind of with
41:44you. I I I like this angle. DJ Moore maybe not 100%.
41:50But I was gonna ask you about that. I I was gonna ask you about that, Brett. You You had a comment to me that I thought
41:56was interesting. You were like, "This passing game >> is really struggling without DJ."
42:02>> Yeah.
42:02>> And I pulled up a a dank stat, Brett, last week. Josh Allen had as many completed air yards
42:12as two Tagagoa.
42:15It was like It was 14, I think. I think it was 14. So it was all just behind the line of scrimmage dump offs is all he
42:22did last week.
42:23>> Shakir saved his ass like multiple times.
42:25>> Yes, he did. Your boy.
42:26>> Yeah.
42:28Um and Josh is look at his turn turnover worthy throw rate this year too. It's like really high for him. Like really
42:34really high.
42:35>> So he's forcing it a little bit too which is crazy. He's not getting the the reward. It's weird because when DJ Moore
42:42was on the field, Joshua Palmer then all of a sudden looked like a good receiver.
42:46You take more off the field, Palmer looks bad again. Yeah, >> they can't get the ball to concade. It's It's crazy. I If it wasn't for this run
42:53game, the two-headed monster of Cook and Allen, they this offense would suck.
43:00>> Well, that's that's the whole thing.
43:01Like, I hate their GM. Like, it's so disgusting that you've wasted Josh like the taco of your fantasy league would have more Super Bowl trophies with Josh
43:11Allen than Brandon >> Taco. What is that phrase? You've never watched The League, Brett?
43:17>> No, I I've I'm familiar with it. I've seen episodes. I' I've never >> John is good friends with the showrunner.
43:22>> John was on the show.
43:23>> John was on the show. That's right.
43:26>> I've seen his scenes for what it's worth.
43:28>> And so, yeah, all the H I did, you know, you know the Pokemon thing where it's like you build your Poke. I know. I saw you
43:35tweeted out your version, which is excellent, by the way. Uh my version of that for the Bills was like Arcanine at
43:42running back, Mewtwo at cornerback, and then just a whole bunch of Rattatas and Caterpies. That's the Bills ro. I mean, the their offensive line is pretty good.
43:51Concaid's pretty night. Like, but still, it's just it's it's egregious. Um anyway, you your angle is Don Concaid as the sneaky start and you you're you're
44:03finagling here a little bit of code speak.
44:06>> Yeah. Well, plus the Raiders suck against tight ends.
44:08>> Well, well, that's the thing is this is an amazing matchup for everyone. The Bills defense is awful. The Raiders defense is awful. If you just break it
44:16down, it's like >> the Raiders are bottom six to quarterbacks, running backs, slot wide receivers, tight ends. The Bills are bottom six against quarterbacks, running
44:24backs, slot wide receivers, outside.
44:25It's just a a fantasy bonanza. Or at least it should be.
44:29>> Yeah.
44:29>> But, >> okay, >> I have an angle. We're doing my Saturday show. You know, players going to explode. It's a solo show. I don't have
44:38Brett Whitefield holding me down, submerged beneath the water like a like a like a a weight strapped to my ankle.
44:48I I get to fly solo. I think James Cook might be on there. And so like you have the positive coach speak on Kade, you
44:56have a little bit of negative coach speak on James Cook. It's hey, he's got to clean up these fumbles. He has twice
45:01as many fumbles over the last what is it two or three years than any other player. We got this is unaccept this
45:08could eat into his work and so that that could be viewed as a negative Brett I might be choosing to look it as a posit
45:14like I could see this as the ultimate get right spot. Hey we have a ton of money invested in James Cook. He needs
45:21to get his swagger back and this is what a matchup James Cook. What do we know about James Cook? Is he's the best home run hit
45:30hitter in football. Best explosive play rate at the running back position over the last five games, 10 games, 15 games, 20 games, 25 games. We also know the
45:41Buffalo Bills, the stat I've cited multiple times, Chris Wack has cited, is this is the best yards before contact per attempt by a run blocking offensive
45:51line in fantasy points data history.
45:54They have 3.65.
45:56No other offense is over three. But look at the defense they're up against. The Raiders defense yards before contact per attempt. They're giving up 3.11. Next
46:06closest Saints at 2.76. Then the Lions at 2.59. Their explosive run rate easily worse in the league. And so I think all
46:16this comes together for like a 200 yard James Cook game. Obviously it all comes down to does he break off one or two
46:23long runs.
46:24>> I think he does.
46:26I don't think we need to tell people to start James Cook, but I totally agree with you.
46:30>> Well, you said that the offense can't do anything without DJ Moore. Makes me think, well, >> the passing offense can't,
46:37>> right? So, let's let's lean on James Cook.
46:39>> Yeah. And I I also agree that the his playing time is not in jeopardy. They have Tai Johnson and Ray Davis like
46:46>> Yeah.
46:47>> You know what I mean?
46:48>> They are on the field, but it's only in passing downs. But we've known that about James Cook. One of the most games
46:54for sensitive players in fantasy. He performs much better at wins than losses. Bills should win this game.
47:00>> Here's another fun stat. The the Raiders gave up 177 to Kenneth Walker. They gave up over 140 to the New England running
47:08backs last week. Cory Kenner and Raandre Stevenson.
47:12Uh what what are you shaking your head for?
47:14>> Yeah. Well, this is my stat. It's like how are they so bad against the run when >> it gets worse?
47:19>> You Yeah. You know who has the most carries against them?
47:21>> Amore Hampton.
47:24>> He played the Dolphins and he played the Saints and this is the worst run defense.
47:28>> Saint Saints like Travis Etienne or sorry eten however we say his name looked like he had a pulse in that game.
47:36>> I know >> Omar Hampton had 94 rushing yard that like he's cooked and he had 94 rushing yards against this team. Like it's bad.
47:44So I agree. I just I didn't think we need to >> cook 180 rushing yards. Let's go.
47:50I like it. I like it. Bet it up. Bet it up. Yeah, he's gonna smash. And I think Joe Brady used his comments as a way to
47:57inspire James and get him fired up.
48:00Coaches do that sometimes. So, all right. I I think we're good. Let's talk Raiders. Brock Bowers tight end one on the week. I don't think anyone's
48:08disagreeing with that. Start Brock Bowers. Um Ashton Genty, RB8. You feeling okay with that? He he was a FP in practice yesterday which is shocking.
48:19>> Yeah.
48:20Yeah. I don't know. I mean like the the volume is so good. He was you know up until last week behind only Gibbs in XFP
48:28per game.
48:29>> Efficiency is not going to be good but volume wins out at the end of the day.
48:33>> The Bills stink. I think Genty gets a pair of explosive runs in this game.
48:36>> Whoa. Those would be the the first two of his NFL career.
48:40>> Right.
48:41>> A pair. Two. Not one but two.
48:44>> Wow.
48:46Kirk Cousins, QB12. He's a fringey QB1 guy. Where do you like him?
48:50>> A little bit more than that.
48:52>> Okay.
48:53>> Bills are giving up the third most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks.
48:56Before last week, he had three straight three touchdown games. And a game with 365 yards and two touchdowns. Um, so I
49:05think he's proven he could be a great streamer in the right matchup. This is a great matchup.
49:10>> Only obvious one I see ahead of him is Jaylen Herz.
49:14Okay. Yeah, there you go.
49:15>> Fair.
49:16>> Flip them.
49:17>> Flip them. All right. Let's >> Great match up for for Trey Tucker.
49:21Great schematic matchup. So, I even like him in this spot.
49:27>> Actually, is it a great matchup? He'll draw Maxwell Haristen, the fastest quarterback in the NFL.
49:34>> Fast doesn't mean good. It also doesn't mean he shadows. The Bills are giving up the most fantasy points per game to
49:39outside wide receivers. He runs 80% of his routes from the outside. The last time, >> the last time the Bills played a 4-2
49:46receiver, you know what happened?
49:49>> Harrison shadowed him.
49:51>> Oh, >> it was Jameson Williams, your favorite.
49:53>> You know what? You know what, Brett? You make a compelling case.
49:57I'll I'll You know what? I I changed my mind. I changed my mind.
50:02>> Good.
50:03All right, let's move on.
50:05>> You just take Mog May. I'll take the L.
50:07I I'll do that.
50:08>> It's all good. Dallas Cowboys at the Green Bay Packers. This is probably the game of the week to be honest with you.
50:14Um, over under a 53, the highest total on the board. Green Bay favored by a point and a half at home. This is the
50:21Sunday night game. I cannot wait to have to record with you while this game is going on. This is going to be really fun
50:26for me.
50:29Let's start on the Dallas side. It's a It's for sure a start if you got him game minus Jake Ferguson. Start Dak.
50:36Start Javante. Start CD. Start George.
50:39>> Yeah.
50:40>> Sit Jake. I agree with all of those. Um, do you have any fun notes here? I I'm curious to see what the Packers do
50:50on defense because like they've been playing this goofy too high stuff.
50:54Something to note about the Packers, they have phenomenal interior defenders.
50:58Javon Bolard, Evan Williams, Xavier McKenna when he's on the field, um, they can shut down the middle of the field.
51:04However, they're they don't really have good quarterbacks, like real quarterbacks.
51:09They have slot quarters that have converted to play on the outside.
51:14>> Well, that makes sense. Uh they're giving up the six most fantasy points per game to outside wide receivers, the second fewest to slot wide receivers.
51:22Uh so that's a great, you know, spot for CD Lamb and George Pickkins. They're also giving the second most fantasy points per game to running backs. So
51:30Javvante Williams is in a good spot. And uh yeah, I I don't I don't really have a lot to say here. It's, you know, we've
51:37kind of been >> Yeah.
51:39>> probably like the second or third best offense in football. You're just starting these guys if you have them.
51:43It's pretty simple. On the Green Bay side, an offense that's trending upwards. They have one of the most exciting young wide receiver duos in the
51:52league and Christian Watson and Matthew Golden. They also have a great tight end. I lowkey like this for Marshon Lloyd though.
52:00>> Shut up. No, >> bro.
52:02>> How dare you? The Cowboys gave up 81 yards of Cam Scataboo, which is hard.
52:06It's Cam Scataboo's buns.
52:10>> Okay. He's been a sell high for us for weeks.
52:15>> I just wanted to get your reaction. You didn't give me one. Um, they gave up over a 100 rushing yards to Washington
52:21running backs. Washington's one of the worst running teams in the league, Scott.
52:25>> Uhhuh.
52:26>> And then Bucky Irving just went for 165 against them. Like they >> And I know Lloyd has not been good. He
52:32hold not. Okay. What >> you want to hear the the counterargument via dankstat?
52:37>> Yeah.
52:38>> You remember our Quinn Sean Judkins stat?
52:41>> Yes.
52:42>> 15 straight games on 4.0 yards per carry.
52:46>> Hit me with it.
52:47>> Marshon Lloyd had two touchdowns last week.
52:49>> Yeah, but 3.1 yards per carry.
52:51>> Yeah. You want to guess what his careerhigh in yards per carry is?
52:55>> Oh boy.
52:57I'll go 3.9.
52:59>> 3.3.
53:00>> No.
53:02But he's only played like two and a half games, >> bro. This dude sucks and he's in a split backfield.
53:08>> Well, and the Packers align sucks.
53:10>> Yeah. Yeah.
53:11>> Yeah.
53:11>> But I mean, hey, it's it's a great matchup, so whatever. On the fence there. You could do worse.
53:17>> I like him as a flex.
53:18>> Like, we were listing Trey Tucker as a flex in the last game. I'd much rather start Marshon Lloyd than Trey Tucker.
53:23Not even close.
53:24>> Well, yeah, his projection's higher, too. So, >> Well, then why do we have him listed as a flex and and Lloyd isn't on the fence?
53:31Huh?
53:32>> That's a good question. I I don't know.
53:35>> Maybe we need to rework our algorithm.
53:38>> Maybe.
53:40>> All right. And then for the Green Bay side, other than Lloyd, start him if you got him. Literally start him. Watson,
53:46wide receiver four, Matthew Golden, wide receiver 11. Both seem very fair.
53:50Cowboys pass defense is is just terrible. So, any notes? This is like the easiest, most straightforward game. Literally just start them if you have them.
54:01>> Yeah, it's, you know, start start everyone against the Cowboys defense, which is really bad. Uh, and, you know, Christian Watson, Matthew Golden both
54:09rolling. Uh, Christian Watson's currently the wide receiver four by fantasy points per game.
54:15>> Yes.
54:16>> I I kind of don't like Matthew Golden as much as certainly not as much as that wide receiver 11 ranking.
54:22>> Really?
54:24>> Yeah. Do tell.
54:25>> Yeah. So Dallas is like kind of weirdly a slot funnel.
54:30Um >> Golden's playing the X for those at home.
54:34>> Yeah. So they're third worst against the slot, ninth best to outside wide receivers. Golden only has six slot targets. Watson and Craft combined for
54:4222.
54:44Eh eh I think I think uh I think I would knock him down a little bit. I Watson and up.
54:52>> You know what's really interesting too?
54:54Yeah, Dallas's pass defense is just kind of bad in aggregate.
54:57>> Yeah, >> they've only given up one like monster week to a receiver. That was Nico Collins, I believe, week four. He had
55:02what, like 120 and two, something like that.
55:05>> But other than that, they've actually like >> they've kind of limited huge performances. It's been, you know, three good performances in one game versus
55:14like a monster performance. So may maybe you're right with that. Maybe you're spot on.
55:19>> Maybe we're we're fading Golden a little bit. He's still a start though, right?
55:22Just not wide receiver 11. Yeah. Yeah.
55:24Yeah. Okay. Cool. And last but not least, the Washington Commanders travel to San Francisco for the Monday night game. You're going to be way prepared to
55:33talk about this game because this was the game of the week on the Check the Mic show.
55:38>> Yeah. Shout out Sam Monson, Steve Palazolo. We're doing a little a little partnership with them courtesy of Fantasy Points Data's Data Suite 2.0.
55:47This was my game of the week. Also had my play of the week, George KD. To be fair, I have I have like five plays of
55:54the week, I think. But, um, I also love George KD, maybe my favorite favorite player. Um, but it's a it's an absolute
56:02smash spot for him. It's a it's a smash spot for the entire 49ers offense, which is >> maybe the most potent, deadly offense on
56:10a per play basis in this entire league.
56:14It's really just everything kind of checks off for George Pit KD who performs much better without Debo Samuel on the field.
56:22He's out two to three weeks. Performs much better against two high coverage which Washington plays at a top three rate. It's a great on paper matchup.
56:31Washington giving up uh the third most fantasy points per game to tight ends.
56:36It's uh just, you know, everything kind of checking the box here. Uh Brock Perie too currently the QB2 in fantasy points
56:44per game. You see that 7 and a half point spread. You're like, "Oh, I don't know. I don't know if the Commanders can
56:50really push back here. That's that's something of a concern." Uh well, guess what? They're a tremendous pass funnel.
56:57Uh the Commanders bottom three in fantasy points per drop back allowed, top six in fantasy point uh sorry, EPA per run
57:07allowed. So, you know, and and by pro, they're they're, you know, top three.
57:11So, teams really passing on them uh when against a different defense, maybe they'd run. So, I like George KD, but I
57:19also like Exodia, Mike Evans, who's hit season highs and targets and yards in back-to-back games. He's the assman.
57:28Leads all players in separation win rate. Uh like to see him more involved perhaps getting closer to full health.
57:37CMC. It's just a valuable role and a good offense. So, you're starting all these guys.
57:43>> I promise you I'm not OCD, >> but I think it's funny that what >> Okay, let's hear it.
57:52>> You know, I I steer the ship through the the show sheet. We start with the road team in every single game. The one game
57:58I hand off to you and you start with the home team.
58:01>> Oh, look at that. Interesting. You got I got to keep you on your toes, Brat.
58:05True.
58:06>> I'm gonna I'm gonna go on a limb here and say the San Francisco 49ers run D is extremely overrated.
58:14>> They have played what >> does it matter against the the Commanders?
58:21>> I think it matters a little bit >> against Bill.
58:25>> Against Bill Crosky Merritt. He's heating up, man. He had like 80 yards last week. It's like a career.
58:31>> Brought his yards per carry up to 2.6.
58:32six.
58:33>> It's incredible. All I was going to say is LA's or sorry, San Francisco's run deep, they've played Miami, Arizona, Denver, Seattle. None of those teams run
58:40the ball well at all.
58:42>> Yeah, >> naturally. The only good run team they've played is the Rams and that would happen in Australia. So, it's like
58:47maybe we even just throw that game out.
58:50>> Anyways, Commanders probably can move the ball a little bit more than than you think they can is my point.
58:57>> Yeah. Uh I kind of like how we have it.
58:59Everyone's a sid except for >> I think JCM you're flirting with the flex >> if you're desperate perhaps. Uh Jacob Sanderson had a good note. He played on
59:09none of the final 22 snaps of last week's game. He's dealing with a hamstring. We we record on Thursday so make sure you check practice reports.
59:18See how >> Who's that note on?
59:19>> Huh?
59:20>> Who's that note on?
59:22>> Bill.
59:23>> Oh geez. I didn't even know that. Okay.
59:25>> Yeah. Yeah. I thought that was a great s shout out Jacob Sanderson who's who does dynasty points on our dynasty fantasy
59:31points YouTube channel. Uh Jaden Daniels I I agree is a start dude he just runs and running is awesome is massively
59:38valuable on fantasy. The stat I had was on a per four quarters basis he's averaging 25.9 fantasy points per game 81 rushing yards per game in 22 career
59:49games with a 75% snap share or better he averages 22.8 8. These are all highest end QB1 numbers. Terry McLaren, very
59:59disappointing. Uh, but hopefully he's a little bit healthier than he was last week. Stfan Digs still out. So, he's a what the heck flex.
60:08>> All right.
60:10You know what that means?
60:12>> What does that mean?
60:14>> Bruce Buffer voice loading.
60:16>> Do it. Do your Bruce Buffer. IT'S TIME for Scott's five minute history lesson.
60:25>> It's going to be way more than five minutes. Yeah. Welcome to School of Scott.
60:31Because Coulson Lovelin is the new Kyle Pittz, >> I have won my bet.
60:37>> And as a consequence, you get a very special treat.
60:42You are all hereby invited to attend the School of Scott. Today's lesson is a history lesson.
60:48the subject, personal heroes and men of renown. Today we're discussing a man of unquestionable greatness. A man of such
60:59extraordinary talent that during his lifetime in the late 1600s and early 1700s, he became known all throughout
61:08Europe as the greatest German living.
61:12But more importantly than that, he's a personal hero of mine. In fact, last night I sat down and cataloged chronicled my personal heroes. And our
61:24subject today checks in at number eight on the list. If you would like to hear the rest of the top 10, you'll just have
61:30to keep listening to this show and you'll have to keep rooting for me to win these bets. Our subject today is one
61:39Matias Bukinger.
61:43Bookinger was a polymath, a magician, a musician, a marksman, an artist, a legendary stage performer, and I do mean
61:54legendary.
61:55He tooured throughout Europe, performing before kings and commoners alike, dazzling audiences with feats so extraordinary that even today, three
62:05centuries later, historians struggle to explain how he accomplished them.
62:12He played more than half a dozen musical instruments, some of them his own invention. He danced the hornpipe. He performed slight of hand, conjuring
62:22tricks, and card tricks that left audiences routinely dumbfounded.
62:28He was an expert marksman with a pistol, a celebrated art artist, a master calligrapher, and he accomplished all of this without
62:40hands or feet.
62:42Buinger stood, so to speak, just 29 in tall.
62:48One arm ended just before the elbow. The other ended above where an elbow would have been. He had no hands whatsoever.
62:58His legs stopped at mid thigh. He had no feet, no lower legs, but there was evidently one appendage in perfect working order.
63:09Bukinger married four times and fathered 14 children.
63:15Those are just the children we know of, Brett. According to rumor, he had fathered additional children with as many as 70 mistresses.
63:24Indeed, his fame was such that by the late 1700s, the phrase buinger's boot had entered the English vernacular as
63:34common slaying for a woman's.
63:38>> Okay, >> you know what? You know what? I tried to hit the I don't know if it worked. Uh, and so I suppose we can add legendary
63:49swordsman to his already considerable list of accomplishments.
63:53But let me be clear about something, Brett.
63:57Bookinger was not a great magician, musician, marksman, artist, or genius in spite of his deformity.
64:04That was almost incidental.
64:07His achievements would have seemed no less impossible had he been performed by a man with forearms.
64:14He was considered the greatest cup and balls magician of his day, bar none.
64:19performing feats that his fully limbmed contemporaries could scarcely hope to replicate.
64:26He was reputedly unbeatable at cards. He played six or more musical instruments, including several of his own invention.
64:34He could load and fire pistols with astonishing precision, dazzling audiences with seemingly impossible trick shots.
64:43in Skittles, which was the immediate precursor to modern bowling. He could reportedly knock down all nine pins without spilling a drop from a glass of
64:52liquor balanced top them.
64:56He could make live birds materialize seemingly out of thin air. How he accomplished this, no one knows. And that's a recurring theme here with
65:05Buinger Brett. No one has ever quite figured out how the hell he did any of this. Not even Ricky Jay, the world's
65:14foremost historian of magic and a celebrated magician in his own right.
65:19He's also the world's leading authority on Bukinger, having spent decades collecting bukingana, which is known as uh the the word for
65:30the surviving artwork and memorabilia relating to Matias Bukinger.
65:35Even Ricky Jane couldn't explain these feats. I went [ __ ] into the historical record myself and the accounts are often contradictory.
65:46Surviving illustrations depict Buinger performing with his upper limbs. Samuel Johnson, the author of the Dictionary, saw
65:56Buinger perform when he was a child and said he performed these feats with his lower limbs.
66:03Somehow with essentially none of the appendages most of us consider necessary for doing anything at all, this man could do nearly everything and do it
66:13better than just about anyone living.
66:17And so you have to understand the historical context here, Brett. This is the early 1700s.
66:23There are no iPhones, no televisions, no YouTube, no Tik Tok. Your average European peasant had the dopamine receptors of a newborn baby.
66:34Imagine what it must have been like to watch this man perform. Massive crowds, their minds just being blown to absolute smitherreens.
66:44Thousands of people practically vomiting in unison from the sheer ecstasy of witnessing the impossible by this 29in man with no hands and no
66:55feet performing feats that would have been considered miracles had he been a fully lived individual.
67:03What a spectacle it might have been.
67:06Sadly, we cannot travel back in time and purchase a ticket to see the master perform. But we do have something almost
67:14just as remarkable.
67:16His artwork.
67:18Unlike his legendary stage performances, much of that artwork survives to this day. Intricately constructed wooden ships and glass bottles, beautiful
67:28portraits, landscapes, intricate calligraphy, and perhaps most astonishing of all, micrography.
67:38For the uninitiated, microrography is the art of creating images out of extraordinarily tiny lines of text. And
67:48Buinger was one of the all-time masters.
67:52Look at this image on your screen. This is a self-portrait of Matias Buinger. At first glance, it is impressive enough,
68:02but then you remember the artist had no hands, no feet. But now look a little bit closer. Look at his wig. Because
68:10those aren't merely curls of hair. Those are words. Entire passages of scripture written in letters so impossibly tiny, you could only see them under a
68:21magnifying glass.
68:23Hidden within those curls are seven complete psalms and the Lord's Prayer made by a man without hands. And here's the part to me, Brett, that stretched me
68:34behind beyond comprehension.
68:38Bukinger never even used a magnifying glass. You could only see these with a magnifying glass. He didn't even use one. And how could he? He He had no
68:48hands to hold it up to his face. And so remember here that these are the surviving works of a genius that were by
68:56most contemporary accounts less impressive than what he accomplished on stage. We have the physical evidence. We have the artwork. You're seeing you're
69:06seeing one of his sculptures inside a glass bottle on the screen now. We have firsthand accounts.
69:13All right. So we have we we have the accomplishments. We have the firsthand accounts.
69:18Yet 300 years later, we still don't really know how he did it. All of this done by a man born without hands or
69:25feet.
69:27A man who stood, so to speak, just 29 in tall, only 29 in tall. But I tell you, Brett, this man was a giant.
69:38At least to me.
69:41Now, now Brent, you may be wondering, I'm not done. I'm not done. I'm not done.
69:47You may be wondering, what is the point of all this? Why have I I spent the last several minutes subjecting you to an
69:55unsolicited lecture about an obscure German magician from the 1700s?
70:03As we all know, no account of history is sufficient without the moral it reveals.
70:11What is the What is the moral of this story? What can we learn from Matias Bukinger, one of my top 10 personal
70:20heroes?
70:22To answer that question, allow me to tell you another story. Um, when I first moved to Texas, I think it was my second or third day here, I went
70:32to the bar, I sat down, I ordered a drink, and I struck up a conversation with a guy about my own age sitting next
70:40to me. We talked for probably an hour.
70:43perfectly nice guy.
70:46Eventually, I mentioned I was new in town and I asked if if he had any restaurant recommendations.
70:52He gave me about 10.
70:55Bars in the area. He gave me five. Music venues, plenty of suggestions. Parks, absolutely. Then I asked if he if he
71:02knew of a good church in the area.
71:04Suddenly his demeanor changed. He said, "Oh, I don't go to church. I hate God."
71:09In fact, I asked him why. He said, ' Because God is cruel.
71:15What makes you say that? He looked me dead in the eyes and he said, ' Because look at what God did to me. He held up
71:21his hand. Brett, I had been talking to this man for like an hour. I'd seen his hands. I looked at his hands, saw him
71:28grab his beer. I hadn't noticed anything unusual.
71:32Even as he held it in front of me, I could barely make out the deformity. It was something extraordinarily mild. But
71:39he talked about how this ruined his life. He could never be a great drummer.
71:44Couldn't be a professional baseball player. No woman would ever want to marry him. He thinks he's a freak. He's He's acting like the guy from from Scary
71:53Movie 2. I could barely tell there's anything wrong with him.
71:59I tried to tell him about Matias Buinger.
72:03try to explain. There was a there was once a man born without hands or feet, without arms or legs, who became one of
72:10the greatest performers, artists, magicians of all time, man with every possible excuse to accomplish nothing. Instead, accomplished the impossible many times
72:20over. He wasn't interested. He didn't want to hear it. I left that bar sickened, disgusted, repulsed.
72:29not by his hands. His his physical deformity barely registered with me. I was repulsed instead by the deformity of his spirit. The self-pity, the
72:40bitterness, the false belief that one small disadvantage had rendered greatness impossible.
72:47And so bread, I say unto you, verily, verily, I say unto you, it is better to be born without arms and legs than it is
72:57to have a loser mindset like that of my friend from the bar. And so the lesson from today's school of Scott, dare to be
73:07great and then go perform the impossible like Matias Bukinger, a giant of a man.
73:21That was great, Scott. That was great.
73:24You know what's crazy? If you look in the private chat >> Yeah.
73:27>> see my comment. I figured out the scripture thing in the hair before you even said it.
73:32>> Yeah.
73:32>> That's why I was staring closely at the screen.
73:35>> You want to know the craziest thing about it?
73:37>> What?
73:38>> I just made this guy up. He never actually existed.
73:42>> Really? Yeah.
73:43>> I'm just gaslighting you.
73:46No way.
73:48No. No. Now I'm gaslighting. No. Yeah.
73:50Mathias Bukinger. He's awesome.
73:54>> That was a That was a weird gaslight.
73:55You You fake gaslighted. It >> was metag gaslighting.
73:59>> Nice. That was really good. That was really good. Thank you for that. You only went, you know, 12 and a half
74:04minutes. Shorter than I thought you'd go.
74:06>> Really? Wow. Yeah. Me, too.
74:08>> So, all right. Well, leave us your thoughts and comments on Scott's uh, you know, personal hero and men of renowned
74:16person 8. I think >> shout out Matias Booener. Today's podcast sponsored by Matias Booener.
74:23>> I thought it was like sponsored by nubs or something.
74:29All right, that is going to do it for us today. Thank you so much for listening.
