0:00You're smart enough to obviously know that Jamir Gibbs, Bejan Robinson, these are the first two picks in fantasy drafts this year. They're both 24-y old
0:06running backs that have been top three options back-to-back seasons. Really, the only notable thing to maybe mention is that we have gotten word that Kareem
0:14Hunt is potentially going to be going over to the Detroit Lions, but to be honest with you, that doesn't matter at
0:20all. Really, that just speaks to the Isaiah Pacheco injury and the fact that they need a second running back on the
0:25roster. Now going over to the next tier of guys, McAffrey very simple on how you can go through and look at this, right?
0:33We obviously know the ceiling is higher than any other player in fantasy football. I mean, even last year when the efficiency dipped down, just look at
0:41what this man was doing every single week. I mean, he only had two games the entire season with fewer than 15 fantasy
0:49points. and he had 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 games with over 20. So the floor
0:58ceiling combo's like something we've never seen from a player before when he is healthy, but he is now a 30-year-old running back as coming off a season
1:07where he had over 400 touches and he's seen injuries in the past. So McCaffrey, his probability of getting injured, in my opinion, again, it's incredibly
1:18difficult to predict injuries. You pretty much can never do it, but it does seem like it's higher than what we have
1:23with Gibbs and Bejon. So I would need a discount. Where I would look to take McAffrey is after we have the
1:29bulletproof wide receivers off the board already, such as Jamar, Chase, Puganua, and JSN. So he would be going at like the 106 for me. And then my 107 would be
1:39Jonathan Taylor. So, I actually drafted Jonathan Taylor in the Flock League. My best two players on my team at the moment are currently Jonathan Taylor as
1:48well as Justin Jefferson. I feel incredibly good about that. But let me pull up flockfantasy.com real quick and we'll dive into the splits that Jonathan
1:56Taylor had last year and it's just very striking of what happened where the beginning of the season JT was the best
2:04player in fantasy football and then once we actually had um Daniel Jones go down and Philip Rivers was the quarterback he
2:12was playing with, he fell from 23.8 fantasy points per game down to 13.3. So just an absolute massive massive
2:22difference. So the bet on JT if you wanted him to be an S tier running back again is that this offense can bounce
2:29back with Daniel Jones being healthy coming off the torn Achilles, but because we don't know that's going to be a certain thing to happen. I would need
2:38to take him after these three running backs, which is again what I did in the flock league draft. Now moving over to
2:44the B tier. This is where things get a lot flatter, right? like James Cook's going to lead us off. Ash and Genty will
2:49be at the end of this. We'll talk about Genty in just one second, but you can rank these running backs in whatever
2:54order that you would like. I would be looking at these running backs at the end of round one or the beginning
3:03slashmiddle of the second round. Like James Cook, every single year of his NFL career, he's gotten better from six to 13 to 16 to 17 fantasy points per game.
3:14It's a great offense, great offensive line. Not much has changed year-over-year, but we haven't seen James Cook get to that Taylor, McAffrey,
3:22Gibbs, Bejon level of the true ceiling of 20 plus points per game or more, but he has established a really nice floor
3:29with his role for the Bills and he really doesn't have any competition for touches. Devon Aan has consistently seen that topend ceiling that's very similar
3:37to Bejan and Gibbs, but his situation just so much worse year-over-year where you're transitioning from Tua to Malik Willis. you'll have um fewer checkdowns
3:46which obviously Devon Achan had over five targets per game last year. So he's derived a ton of his value in the past
3:53with the receiving work and on top of this the Miami Dolphins project to be a bottom three offense in the league. So
3:58you definitely need a discount for that reason as well. Moving over to Chase Brown. Um Chase Brown's a running back that's been phenomenal in games in which
4:08Joe Burrows played. like we can go back and do the same thing that we did with Jonathan Taylor this past year. Um Chase
4:16Brown last year was the running back seven in points per game, 16.6. But according to flockfantasy.com, if we go through and only look at the games in
4:25which he played with Joe Burrow, he played eight games with Burrow and he was a top three running back in fantasy
4:31in those eight games. Now the nine games without Burrow, he was a running back two. So the expectations will be Joe
4:38Burrow's healthy. This is a top offense and Chase Brown's a workhorse. He has no competition whatsoever. So I think that you could very easily make an argument
4:47to have him up here at running back five. Like he actually went round one in the flock league. Now Saquon Barkley at
4:52eight. I had Saquon Barkley on my fantasy team last year was incredibly frustrating as this dude literally only had two games the entire season with 20
5:00or more fantasy points. The dude looked straight up washed. But here's the deal.
5:07It was a garbage offensive coordinator and the offensive coordinator has been changed and sports books are projecting the Philadelphia Eagles to bounce back
5:15this year. So I think we can get a Barkley bounce back. I think he is still an incredibly talented RB, but it is
5:22worth noting of course that this is now a player that is about to turn 30 years old and has been on the decline at least
5:28over one year. Now looking at Amari and Hampton, um Hampton and the Chargers got screwed last season with all the injuries the Los Angeles Chargers saw to
5:37the O line, but now you're in a world in which the coaching staff's better. The offensive line is healthier. They have
5:44their two tackles back, which obviously is incredibly important, but the drawback that you have is now you actually just saw their center go down
5:53for the season. So we're already getting some injuries stacking up for the Los Angeles Chargers. That will be something to note. Um, Kenneth Walker, I am
6:00rocking his jersey right now and I am sure that you had a chance to see me draft him in the Flock League. I took
6:08him in the second round. My start was I took Jonathan Taylor at pick eight and then in the second round I figured, you
6:14know what, the best player in terms of value on the board was Kenneth Walker. I have to take him. I didn't want to draft
6:22them. If y'all watched that video, um, here's where I drafted him. I said in that video at the time that I drafted
6:30him that he was on the trade block and I was going to try to send him away. And the second that the Ashen Genty injury
6:36happened to Danny, I approached him and went, "Hey, I'll save your running back room. Let me give you Kenneth Walker for
6:44Justin Jefferson."
6:46Somehow I pulled it off. I I did it before we got the word that Genty was just fine with the sprained ankle and
6:52Danny and Sammy thought he was going to be out for the season. one of the craziest things to ever happen to me in
6:57fantasy and I'm so freaking grateful for it. But yeah, the reason I'm worried about Walker is let me tell you a quick
7:03story here. Kenneth Walker came to Seattle in year one he had 15 carries per game. Year two he had 14 carries per
7:12game. Year three he had 13.9.
7:15Year four he had 13. So, every single season, the Seattle Seahawks made a conscious decision of let's get Kenneth Walker fewer touches.
7:27Let's get Kenneth Walker off the field and rest him more. We need him to stay upright. We need him to stay healthy. He
7:35had been a running back that had dealt with injuries pretty much every single year of his NFL career. And I think that
7:42combined with the fact that the Seattle Seahawks let Kenneth Walker walk this off season, I don't know if he's a running back that's meant to hold up to
7:52a 400 touch season like McCaffrey is. I think it is something that I am personally concerned with. Right or wrong, you can tell me I'm an idiot. You
8:02can tell me that I'm completely wrong here. But that's why I wanted to pivot off of him and get to Justin Jefferson.
8:09I mean, this is a running back that was the RB 29 in fantasy points per game last season. So, I am ranking him in a
8:17range in which he should be much much better this year than he's ever been. Like, I'm ranking him at running back 10 in comparison to
8:26his best finish ever. He was a high-end running back, too, because I think the situation's better in Kansas City, but still, I am nervous. Now, Dererick Henry
8:35at 11. Derrick Henry, we saw the fall off last year where he fell from 19.7 to 16.4 fantasy points per game and he's
8:42going to turn 33 years old at the end of this year. So, um, in my opinion, declining running back that doesn't have
8:49a great receiving role that is about to be 33. It's a running back that again I took Kenneth Walker over. I think
8:56Derrick Henry should be a midsec round pick if you're playing in a full PPR format. Now, if you're looking at our

9:48of those rankings that I am just gonna have to consistently update as we go through the off seasonason here. Um, and
9:55we get more and more word on if he's going to be good to go week one. Right now, it seems like he actually does have
10:00a decent little chance to play the first week of the season, which obviously is crazy. Um, given the context that they
10:08had the prayer circle out and we thought he was cooked for the entire year previously, but given the uncertainty regarding the ankle injury, I would need
10:16to have him after guys like Kenneth Walker, Derk Henry because I'm a little bit more riskadverse with those early round picks. Now, leading off Ctier,
10:25we're going to have Karen Williams. Now, yes, I understand that Blake Cororm did see more of a role this past season than
10:31what he had had at any point previous, but with that in mind as well, um I am ranking Kairen Williams lower here than
10:39where he's really ever finished. Like, he's had three straight seasons effectively of being a top 10 RB in fantasy and now we are ranking him at
10:4513. Um this is a phenomenal offense.
10:48sports books are telling us it's going to be the best offense in the league.
10:51While at the same time, we actually do have the upside for this to be one of the best defenses in the league, so they
10:57can run the ball a ton. So, I like Kairen. Yes, there is somewhat of a concern of the Cororum usage, but it's
11:02not the end of the world. Um, Jeremiah Love has been a main conversation topic on Twitter at the moment because we did
11:10get some Jeremiah Love videos um previously today that people were trying to go through and overreact to in
11:20my opinion. Like this one, Jeremiah Love is carrying pizza boxes up the stairs. I don't care about this at all. I don't
11:29think this has any impact on his week one availability regardless.
11:34This we see him warming up. We see him trying to work the ankle. He's not really moving fast. He's flatfooted. Um
11:42I see people looking at this and going, "Oh my gosh, he's definitely not playing week one." The fact of the matter is,
11:48who knows if he's playing week one at this point. It will be something we need to continue to monitor. And with this as
11:54well, um, we do need to acknowledge that him missing the valuable reps in camp right now for a rookie, that's concerning. It does mean that maybe it's
12:04a little bit more likely that we end up seeing Tyler Alier out there at the beginning of the season more than you
12:11would like. Now, Breeall also not practicing with the groin. However, we have gotten recent word that um, Breeall is looking good to go for week one. I
12:21mean, pretty much anything that you would want to be coming out of New York at the moment regarding his groin injury
12:26is. So, Bree is on the men, looks better. Javvante Williams at 16, I don't think he is nearly as talented of a
12:33running back as Jeremiah Love or Bree Hall. To be honest with you, I think he may be the least talented running back
12:39that we have talked about so far in today's video, but there's a big butt on this.
12:45At the end of the day, it may not matter if he is the starting cowboy for a backfield with no competition.
12:54Like he has a backfield in which his number one competitor is what? Malik Davis. Like there's nothing that should concern you here at all if you are
13:05Javante. And it's a damn good Dallas Cowboys offense as well. Um Travis CTN, we have moved up our rankings considerably. Not just because of course
13:14I traded for Travis ETN in the Flock League, but mainly because the Alvin Kamara injury. Alvin Kamara looks like he's going to be out a month. I mean, I
13:22believe this is the third time that he's had the sprained MCL. And this team went out there and traded for Zamir White,
13:28which does give me a negative signal on that Alvin Kamara injury. So, ETN, we have moved up to where now I actually
13:36think you can take him in the third round with all these other backs. You could take Josh Jacobs at the very end
13:42of the third or the very beginning of the fourth, but obviously Jacobs does have that suspension risk that you need to be monitoring because we actually had
13:51something come out today that let me just read you the exact quote of what we had with Josh Jacobs because the quote
13:58doesn't sound great if I'm going to be completely honest with you, but what we were told from the Green Bay Packers
14:05general manager is, "Yeah, I'm pretty confident we can sustain if he is suspended. Now, that doesn't mean we wouldn't make another move, but yeah,
14:14we'll deal with that when it comes, but we've obviously been preparing for that in case that happens. But at the same
14:20time, I feel really good about the guys we got in that room, and I think we can survive it. So, the Jacobs
14:27injury/suspension risk is real. I think if he were 100% healthy and at the same time we were to have a 0% chance that he got suspended,
14:38I would realistically probably move Josh Jacobs ahead of Kairen Williams in my rankings, but we just don't have that clarity with Jacobs right now. Moving
14:47over to the Dtier, we will have DeAndre Swift at 19. Um, Swift is a big-time riser as we get to these round four and
14:54five players where with the Kyle Manungai hyperextension to the knee, a big risk that you would have had of DeAndre Swift potentially
15:03losing work to Kyle Manungai early in the season is now gone. Uh, because again, if Manungai is not there taking those reps, the guy that is instead is
15:12DeAndre Swift. Bucky Irving at 20. If they did not give so much freaking money to the combination of Kenneth Gainwell
15:21as well as Shawn Tucker, I would be absolutely all in on Bucky right now, but because there is some real risk.
15:32I don't know. I I don't love the idea that we may or may not have Kenneth Gainwell involved here regularly. Now,
15:40Bay Shel Tutin at 21, it does seem like every day that goes by, he is more likely to be the starting running back
15:48for the Jacksonville Jaguars, which would be an incredibly valuable role with Liam Cohen, but at the end of the day, he has shown us nothing in his NFL
15:56career so far. Um, David McGomery I think probably has a high floor where if you draft McGomery, you know, you can
16:03start him week one, you know, you can start him week two, but the ceiling is what maybe I'm a little bit concerned
16:09with. Like, is there a world in which David McGomery ever is a top five running back in fantasy this season for
16:17me? I personally don't see. So, I I don't love this Houston Texans offensive line. I don't love this Texans offense in general. I don't think David McGomery
16:26is an elite talent. I don't think he is an explosive playmaker at this point of his NFL career. So, I would be
16:33downgrading him a bit. Now, Quinn Sean Judkins at 23. Um, Judkins, garbage offense with the Cleveland Browns.
16:40Obviously, very talented running back.
16:42Like, if he is fully healthy, I actually think he's a much more talented rusher than a lot of the other running backs
16:47we've talked about in this video. But, he's not going to catch a ton of balls out of the backfield. Not only is he not
16:53going to catch a ton of balls out of the back field, but on top of this as well, he plays for the Cleveland Browns, so
16:58the red zone trips should be far and few between. Cam Scataboo at 24 is a faller in these ranks for me because of the
17:07Naji Harris signing. I know we've talked about this a lot and I hate to keep going back to it, but I am not worried
17:13about Naji Harris outplaying Scataboo in directly taking a ton of volume from him because Naji is such a talented running back. I don't think that at all. But
17:24what I am worried about is I am worried of the action of this coaching staff telling us that Cam Scataboo is not 100%
17:33and then turning around and deciding, you know what we want to do? We want to draft I'm sorry sign Naji Harris. So
17:42that worries me about the Cam Scataboo rehab and exactly how set he is for this year. So again, I'm just using it as a
17:49tie break dropping him behind some of these other Dtier running backs.
17:53Jadarian Price at 25. I love everything that's come out of Seattle about this guy. Seems like he is the locked and
17:59loaded starter for the Seattle Seahawks.
18:02And they didn't even really need to see him in the preseason either. They said, "Rest up and get ready for week one,
18:06buddy." The downside that you have with Jadarian Price is we don't know what the receiving role is going to look like
18:12because in college he had to share the backfield with Jeremiah Love and also Zack Charbanet could split the backfield once he comes back healthy. Now, Trevian
18:20Henderson and Readadre Stevenson are tough running backs to talk about because everything that's come out of New England so far this year has been
18:28centering around Readadres's the starter. Trevian Henderson's been disappointing. Raandre is most likely the starting running back for New England. And I'll be honest, there's a
18:37good chance that maybe that's right.
18:41Maybe it is the most likely scenario in which Raandre Stevenson is the starting RB for the New England Patriots. The
18:52reason that I would rather have Trevon, if Readandre Stevenson is the starting running back for the New England Patriots, I don't think he wins fantasy
19:01leagues. I think he's a viable start as like a low-end RB2.
19:05If Trevian Hitter's the starting running back for the New England Patriots, I think he can win your league for you.
19:10So, um, while Raadre probably has the higher floor between the two backs, I think Henderson has the higher ceiling.
19:17Jaylen Bourne at 27's probably the starting running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers the same way that he was last year, but last year he averaged 13 and a
19:26half fantasy points per game in that role. And there is a chance that Dowel is the starter as well. So, I think is a
19:31low ceiling, but also a low floor. Um, Jonathan Brooks at this point does look like he is probably going to be the
19:40starting running back to open up the season for the Carolina Panthers because of the Chubbert hamstring. But by no means is that a guarantee. And on top of
19:48that as well, even if he is the starter, he may not be startable in fantasy if they split this backfield like 6040.
19:55Now, going over to Tony Pard. Pard should be the guy in Tennessee and this Tennessee Titans offense should be better than it was last year. But Pard
20:05was also the guy in Tennessee last season when he averaged 10.9 fantasy points per game and now he's another year older at 29 years old. Um RJ Harvey
20:14at 31, I actually like RJ Harvey. The only problem is even when we see the JK Dobbins injury, what more likely than
20:23not's gonna happen is then at that point RJ Harvey is going to need to go through and split the backfield with Jonah
20:31Coleman. So, because they have three viable running backs in Denver, I I don't know if any of these guys ever becomes the true Bellcow. Rico Dout here
20:40at 32 we are going to have after Jaylen Warren. Um, I don't know if Dowel has the same receiving upside that Warren
20:45does, but he could very easily be the starter. Same thing with Chuba Hubard, right? We're going to have Hubard at 33.
20:51Well, I think I would rather have Brooks at this point because of the Chuba Hubard hamstring injury. There's a damn good chance that we go out there week
20:57one, this is a running back by committee and then they end up just riding the hot hand, which who knows who that would be.
21:03Blake Corm at 34. um less likely to eventually be the starting running back in his backfield compared to Chuba Hover to compared to Rico Dowel. But the
21:12positive that you have with Blake Corum is the upside case. If he were to be the starting running back to the Los Angeles
21:19Rams, then all of a sudden he probably wins fantasy leagues given the fact that like the Rams project to be the best
21:27offense and the best team in the NFL. Um JK Dobbins, I need to lower this dude to my rankings. I may even rather have
21:33average Rashad White and Jordan Mason. I think Dobbins, White, Mason all could be the week one starter for their own backfield, but I think they all have
21:42severe severely cap ceilings. Especially Dobbins. I know a lot of like smart fantasy players like Dobbins. Here's my thing. He has never finished higher than
21:51the RB 18 in points per game.
21:55So, the ceiling is capped. He doesn't catch the ball out of the back field while at the same time this is a running
22:03back that has never stayed healthy. So the floor is incredibly low. The ceiling is incredibly low as well. Like if you
22:13draft Dobbins, you're just hoping for some usable weeks. Now Jacy Cross Merritt could be the starter for the Commanders, but the offensive line's
22:20probably garbage. Um Kenneth Gainwell would need an injury more likely than not to Bucky Irving to be startable. But if Bucky were to go down, which we saw
22:28last year, uh, Gainwell probably jumps up to being like a top 18 running back in my rankings given his receiving skill
22:34set, Kyle Manungai has fallen down these rankings with the hyperextended knee because it does really cement DeAndre Swift as the most likely starter for the
22:42Chicago Bears. Aaron Jones at a 41 most likely has lost all juice. This guy's about to turn 32 years old and I mean,
22:50he was bad last year. Um, Mike Washington at 42. This will be a ranking that we have to keep up to date as we
22:57get additional news regarding the Ashton Genty injury. That's going to be the main thing that we need to monitor.
23:05Chris Rodriguez at 43 is a running back that even if he were to be like a co-starter with Beel Tutin. Rodriguez is
23:14going to have no receiving upside at all. Tyler Algier at 44 is just a premium handcuffed running back, but the guy he's a handcuffed to is currently
23:23injured. Now, our last here, Woody Mars handcuffed to McGomery, Jonah Coleman handcuff where if Dobbins or RJ Harvey were to go down, then maybe he's viable.
23:33Marshon Lloyd appealing handcuff because you have all the risk with Josh Jacobs at the moment. Katon Mitchell handcuffed to Amari and Hampton. Tank Bixsby
23:41handcuffed to Mr. Barkley and Zack Charbanet. Hopefully he comes back in halfway through the season. But I think that's all I got for y'all. I really
