Aaron Jones

NegativeInjury17:50

Aaron Jones suffered an injury during a game. Michael Penn notes it is too early Monday morning to make definitive rankings until an official statement is released, but if Jones is unavailable, Jordan Mason becomes the lead back. Penn also notes Jones was probably done and dusted even before the injury, indicating declining role prior to the injury.

Insight page

Alvin Kamara

NegativeRole17:54

Alvin Kamara will retain receiving usage in the Jacksonville Jaguars backfield even after Travis Etienne returns. Michael Penn has been starting Kamara in recent weeks but expects Etienne to take over as the primary back, leaving Kamara in a secondary role with pass-catching opportunities.

Insight page

Blake Corum

NegativeRole21:04

Blake Corum is expanding his role in Los Angeles but Michael Penn would have a very difficult time trusting him outside of desperate situations. However, if Kyren (likely Kyren Williams) gets injured, Corum could turn into a top-12 running back, making him a conditional upside play.

Insight page

Braelon Allen

NegativeRole25:04

Michael Penn does not view Braelon Allen as a startable name in a healthy scenario; he will function as a pure handcuff only, lacking standalone fantasy value unless the starter (Breece Hall) is injured. Penn notes that while Allen remains a top-10 running back when Hall is injured, he expects a good chance Hall comes back this week, which would relegate Allen to pure handcuff status.

Insight page

Breece Hall

NegativeRole24:54

Remains a top 10 running back when injured, but Michael Penn expects a good chance Breece comes back this week; with a healthy Breece, Hall is just a pure handcuff.

Insight page

Chase Brown

NegativeProjection9:12

Averaging 12.5 fantasy points per game, the lowest mark discussed among running backs analyzed; yards per carry and yards per target are both career lows. Michael Penn notes volume context (13.7 carries, 5.5 targets per game) and Cincinnati Bengals offensive strength warrant benefit of the doubt despite poor recent performance; Sam Perine's goal line usage this past week is an additional concern.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

PositiveProjection0:38

Ranked A-tier as a set-it-and-forget-it RB1 by Michael Penn. Suffered a brief injury in week 7 but returned to the game and was fine. Receiving involvement has been strong over the past two weeks. 49ers' week 8 bye provides opportunity for McAffrey and other key San Francisco players to get healthy.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

NegativeMatchup7:03

One of the best fantasy running backs this season and a league winner for those who drafted him, but Michael Penn expresses concern following the Carolina Panthers' loss of their left tackle—a critical offensive lineman. With the offensive line compromised, Hubbard's red-zone dependent role becomes riskier; fewer red-zone trips will hurt his production.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

NegativeRole10:38

Top 10 running back in Michael Penn's weekly rankings consistently, but ranking is contingent on Kyle Monangai's absence from the Chicago Bears. Penn expresses concern that once Monangai returns, DeAndre Swift may slide backwards in rankings and production.

Insight page

David Montgomery

NegativeRole23:09

Michael Penn doesn't trust Montgomery's talent; he is not a receiving back and is coming off an injury as an older guy. Penn has no interest in Houston Texans running backs.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

PositiveProjection0:23

Recently disappointing due to Lamar Jackson's absence, but expected to rebound to high-end RB1 status once Jackson returns. Touchdown-dependent back with minimal receiving usage—Michael Penn notes Henry won't be used as a receiver, making him reliant on scoring opportunities. Touchdowns should be easier to come by with Jackson back in Baltimore, as the offense becomes very strong.

Insight page

Emanuel Wilson

NegativeDepth Chart25:47

Michael Penn projects Emanuel Wilson as the running back three on the depth chart with Charbonnet and Jalen Price coming back this week, indicating limited playing time and fantasy relevance. Penn finds it very difficult to say anything exciting about Wilson given this depth-chart positioning.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

NegativeRole20:08

JK Dobbins is losing his role to Jonah Coleman. Michael Penn believes Coleman is going to steal his lunch; Dobbins had only six carries and zero targets in a recent game, indicating a declining role. Penn has no fantasy interest in Dobbins unless he is traded. Dobbins was mentioned as a potential level of running back the Giants could add to their backfield, suggesting he may be available.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveProjection0:37

Ranked A-tier by Michael Penn. Can potentially lead NFL in rushing yards any given week, but limited receiving volume due to Josh Allen's reluctance to check down and limited goal-line involvement because Allen takes rushing touchdowns himself. Viable alternative to Jonathan Taylor if concerned about Colts offense decline or JT trade to unfavorable destination.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

PositiveProjection5:29

59% touchdown probability on Poly Market for tonight's game against Philadelphia Eagles; Michael Penn notes the PPR projection is not yet available but will be updated after the game, indicating strong touchdown upside for the matchup.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

NegativeUsage11:09

Possesses elite talent but faces significant usage concerns due to Rico Dowdle's involvement in high-leverage situations. Dowdle is deployed not just on early-down plays between the 20s, but also in two-minute drill situations and goal line packages, which limits Warren's opportunity share. Michael Penn identifies this as the worst-case scenario for Warren's fantasy value despite the Pittsburgh Steelers offense looking very good.

Insight page
NegativeRole23:12

Mentioned in context of Rico Dowdle being a potential league winner if Warren gets injured.

Insight page

Jaylen Wright

NegativeDepth Chart15:57

Clearly displaced by Ollie Gordon as the starter for the Miami Dolphins, with Gordon proving he is the primary back.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

NegativeRole13:20

Missed his second straight game. The team appears to have lost faith in Tyler Alier and pivoted to a running back by committee approach, splitting carries between Alier and Bam Knight. Michael Penn expresses concern that the team's commitment to a committee backfield does not bode well for Love's role when he eventually returns from injury.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

PositiveUsage21:21

Jonah Coleman had a ton of work in his first game back against Arizona, recording 11 total touches and 50% of snaps. Sean Payton stated they need to get Coleman more involved in the offense. There is a real possibility JK Dobbins gets traded, which would leave Coleman and RJ Harvey as the one-two punch in the backfield.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

NegativeMatchup0:02

Trade speculation is active with Colts potentially in sell mode. Michael Penn's best-case scenario: Taylor stays with Indianapolis and receives 90%+ of opportunities as a bellcow. Acceptable trade destination: Minnesota Vikings (no competition, strong defense supports run game). Undesirable destinations: New York Giants, Denver Broncos, Seattle Seahawks—these would reduce him to a lead-back-in-committee role with fewer red zone touches despite better offenses. Penn notes the Giants may add another RB but not at Taylor's level, possibly a JK Dobbins-tier player.

Insight page

Jordan Mason

PositiveRole17:50

Jordan Mason could rise significantly in value if Aaron Jones remains injured. Michael Penn calls him an 'absolute lock must start running back' if Jones is out, particularly for the upcoming matchup against the Detroit Lions, though Mason has limited receiving upside. Penn notes Aaron Jones was probably done and dusted even before the injury, making it now Jordan Mason's backfield.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

PositiveRole12:18

Despite struggling as a rusher behind a poor Packers offensive line, Jacobs demonstrated strong receiving volume and is bringing a different dynamic to the Green Bay offense as a receiver. With Marshon Lloyd proven to be one of the worst running backs in the NFL, Michael Penn concludes Jacobs is the feature down running back who will "absolutely crush."

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveProjection0:19

Averaging 24.5 opportunities per game and ranked S-tier (untouchable) by Michael Penn. Despite a disappointing week 7 against Kansas City—the toughest matchup possible with no red zone opportunities—he still recorded 19 opportunities and nearly 10 fantasy points, demonstrating elite floor and consistency.

Insight page

Kyle Monangai

PositiveInjury18:18

Kyle Monangai is expected to return this week or next week after missing three weeks. He will join the Chicago Bears backfield as they prepare to play at Seattle.

Insight page

Ollie Gordon II

NegativeUsage15:48

Established as the starter over Jaylen Wright for the Miami Dolphins but is severely limited in the passing game, averaging only 1.3 targets per game. Michael Penn classifies him as a touchdown-or-bust back, with additional downside because the Dolphins are a worse team than the Cleveland Browns, limiting his ceiling compared to other touchdown-dependent backs.

Insight page

Rico Dowdle

PositiveSleeper23:23

Michael Penn thinks Dowdle should be ranked higher; describes him as a poor man's Blake Corum where you can start him if desperate. More importantly, if Jalen Warren gets injured, Dowdle becomes a league winner with significant upside.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

NegativeUsage23:40

Takes a backseat now that Jonah Coleman is back; in a three-man running back committee. Despite scoring 14 points this week, Harvey had only five total touches, making it very difficult to trust him in a three-man committee.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

PositiveMatchup13:46

Positioned as the last running back in his tier. Michael Penn identifies a realistic scenario where a strong performance against the Dallas Cowboys' soft defense could propel Barkley up to RB 12 in rest-of-season rankings. Additionally, Penn speculates on a potential trade to the Minnesota Vikings if the Philadelphia Eagles lose, which would represent an even better landing spot for Barkley.

Insight page

Seth McGowan

PositiveSleeper25:40

All of a sudden becomes an interesting handcuff given the possibility of a Jonathan Taylor trade to the Giants.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper25:40

Michael Penn identifies Seth McGawan as an interesting handcuff candidate given the possibility of a Jonathan Taylor trade, which would create potential standalone value in that scenario.

Insight page

Tony Pollard

NegativeProjection22:00

Tony Pollard had a career game with 36 fantasy points, but this came with no Tajae Spears. He has had four games this season with fewer than eight points and only one game with more than 13 points. Michael Penn warns that if Spears returns, expectations must be lowered again, suggesting Pollard's ceiling is capped by committee usage.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

PositiveRole17:54

Travis Etienne is returning from injury and Michael Penn, who has him on his own fantasy team, expects him to be the primary starter for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Penn's expectation is that Etienne will be 'the guy that you want' going forward, though Alvin Kamara will retain some receiving usage in the backfield.

Insight page

TreVeyon Henderson

NegativeRole16:56

Trevon Henderson has lost significant snaps to Rondre Stevenson over the past two weeks and may have played through a high ankle sprain; Michael Penn notes Henderson is going to the back seat given the injury, with reduced role going forward. There is a small possibility of a running back committee if Henderson's injury forces Stevenson to miss time.

Insight page

Tyrone Tracy

NegativeInjury19:59

Tyrone Tracy suffered an injury in a recent game and Michael Penn finds it very difficult to project anything exciting about him due to the uncertainty surrounding his injury status and recovery timeline. Tracy got injured in the game, making it very difficult to say anything positive about his fantasy outlook.

Insight page

Woody Marks

NegativeRole24:26

Probably going to be in the lesser of the Houston Texans committee with David Montgomery. Not startable next week with Texans on bye, then week nine not startable when Montgomery comes back. Michael Penn views him as just a handcuff on the bench with no standalone value.

Insight page

Zach Charbonnet

NegativeRole22:25

Coming off a very significant injury and ahead of his timetable—most expected him back by Thanksgiving. Michael Penn's primary concern is the backfield split: last season Kenneth Walker and Charbonnet split the backfield to the point where neither was startable, raising serious concerns about this year's split and his fantasy viability.

0:00So when we're looking at these running backs rest of season, what you should not be doing is you should not overreact
0:06to what happened in week seven, right?
0:08We have a large sample of these guys.
0:10Jamir Gibbs, a large sample where hell, he's averaging 28 and a half fantasy points per game. The best player in fantasy football, the only guy that
0:19comes close is JSN. Kenneth Walker, of course, was disappointing in the game in which the Chiefs didn't make it to the
0:26red zone for the first time in Patrick Mahomes's entire NFL career. It was the toughest matchup you could have possibly had. The man still had 19 opportunities
0:36and almost got you 10 fantasy points in the worst spot ever. He is averaging 24 and a half opportunities per game.
0:44Kenneth Walker is still an absolute smash. And then Bejon Robinson here is averaging also over 20 opportunities a game. This Atlanta Falcons offense is a
0:54hell of a lot better with Michael Penn in it than it was without PennX. The other interesting note I'm going to have
1:01when you're comparing these running backs to each other will be that Gibbs and Kenneth Walker have already gone through their by-weeks. So you're going
1:08to get one extra game played from them going forward than Bejian Robinson. Now that S tier, they are untouchable, right? No matter what, you are not
1:20trading them away. Like if somebody comes and knocking and they try to give you Justin Jefferson for Kenneth Walker, you say, "No, sir. No, we're not doing
1:29that here." You hold on to these players for dear life. The A tier, you can potentially trade these guys away if the
1:38price is right. Christian McAffrey is a set it and forget it running back one.
1:43He did get injured in this game for a bit. He was out, went to the locker room, came back, ended up being fine.
1:49But the ners have a week eight buy, so it's going to be the perfect opportunity for not only himself to get healthy, but
1:57also some of the other key San Francisco players. He clearly doesn't have the juice that he used to, but the receiving
2:03involvement has been really strong in the past two weeks. Now, I have Jonathan Taylor on my own fantasy team, and I am
2:10very much hoping that he does not get traded. Obviously, we're going to be talking about this all week. Everybody is mentioning that the Indianapolis
2:18Colts have a garage sale going on right now, looking to trade a defensive tackle, an offensive lineman, a running back. Here's the deal. While yeah, the
2:27GM's fired. Well, yes, you're in a setup in which this team has no chance to make it to the playoffs, no chance to win a
2:34Super Bowl. So, it makes sense for them to potentially look to rebuild.
2:40They don't have their own 27 first.
2:42Like, them losing games doesn't necessarily do anything for them. So, I don't want to sit here and act like it's a guarantee at all that JT gets traded.
2:52As somebody who has Jonathan Taylor on their own fantasy team, I am either hoping two things happen. one, he stays with the Indianapolis Colts because we
3:02know he's going to get 90 plus% of their opportunities and he will be somebody that you can rely upon. Or two, he ends
3:09up getting traded to the Minnesota Vikings where I don't think he has any competition and I think he should be able to run the ball over and over and
3:17over again given how good their defense is. I do not want to see a trade to the New York Giants. I do not want to see a
3:23trade to the Denver Broncos. I do not want to see a trade to the Seattle Seahawks. While obviously those teams are better than Indianapolis, they'll
3:31have more trips to the red zone and more TD opportunities. I would not expect Jonathan Taylor to operate as a true
3:37bellcow. I would expect him to be the lead in a committee in those spots. Now, James Cook is our next RB. If you were
3:47concerned with the Colts offense just falling off a cliff or if you were concerned about JT getting traded to a gross situation, by all means, you could
3:56rank James Cook ahead of JT. We know who James Cook is at this point, right?
4:01He'll be a running back that is potentially leading the NFL in rushing yards any given week, but also he won't have a ton of reception volume because
4:09Josh Allen's not going to check the ball down. And also, he's not going to have a ton of involvement at the goal line cuz
4:16Josh Allen's going to take a lot of those rushing touchdowns himself as well. Now, moving to Derek Henry.
4:23Derrick Henry has been disappointing as of late, but that's been with no Lamar Jackson. You get Lamar Jackson back in, this offense goes back to being a very
4:31strong option. And then Derrick Henry goes right back to being a high-end RB1.
4:36So, not super concerned about Derrick Henry. He's a touchdown or bust running back because he's not going to get used as a receiver. But again, with that in
4:44mind, the touchdowns, I think, will be a lot easier to come when you have Lamar back in Baltimore, which hopefully should happen this week. Now, moving to
4:53our B tier, we will be led off with Kairen Williams. I can no longer view Kairen Williams as a set it and forget
4:59it running back one, which that is what the A tier and above is because Kiran did fumble this past week and we have
5:07had three straight games of Blake Cororm expanding his role. So Kairen still very much the lead running back. Kairen Williams still very much the guy that
5:16has the receiving work as well. And we have a very large sample of Kyron Williams being a great player in a great
5:22offense. So, I don't want to full-blown panic on Kairen Williams by any stretch of the imagination, but I am gonna lower
5:29him down from the A tier to the Btier given that Blake Cororm usage is trending in the wrong direction. Now, Javvante Williams, I have no idea how he
5:37is going to play tonight. Obviously, I'm going to be live um after the Philadelphia Eagles Dallas Cowboys game on the channel. So, please just make
5:46sure you're subscribed. We'll talk about Javvante. I'll show you the updated ranks if you want to see what the projections are. Right now on Poly
5:53Market US, you have a 68% chance of the Dallas Cowboys winning this game. Spread on this is 4 and a half. Looking at the
5:59player props, we have a 59% chance that Javvante is going to score a touchdown.
6:04The fantasy points PPR projection here for Javvante is not up just yet. It will be interesting to see what that is
6:11tomorrow. But obviously if you want to check out any of these markets, you can find the link to Poly Market US in the
6:17description as well as the comment section. If you sign up with promo code flock, you will get $25 added into your
6:23account after you deposit your first 10.
6:26Polyarket US available in every state outside of Nevada.
6:30Now moving to our next back with Ashen Genty. I mean, yes, the rushing is still bad. Yes, he doesn't look right. The
6:39efficiency is not there, but it doesn't really matter because he is getting used as Christian McCaffrey, just in a worse offense. The dude is averaging 6.3
6:49targets per game this season. That's more than McAffrey. The only running back that is higher than where you're at with Ashen Genty at the moment is Mr.
6:59Jir Gibbs. Now, moving to Chuba Hubard.
7:03Hubard has been, I mean, one of the best running backs in fantasy football this year. one of the biggest league winners.
7:10Like if you drafted Chuba Hubard, you should feel so damn proud. You made an incredible call, but we did see that
7:18massive step backwards that you had specifically with the entire Carolina Panthers offense. And I would be more open and more willing to say it was just
7:30a small sample. Chew Bob's going to be a okay. He is going to get right back in there. if it wasn't for the fact that
7:37you do end up with a pretty significant injury where the Carolina Panthers lose their left tackle, who was very good and
7:47very critical to this offensive line and offense in general. So, with them losing their left tackle, I'll be a little bit
7:53more concerned about the offense overall. And obviously, Chuba is a Bellcow in set offense. So, um if there are more trips to the red zone, he's
8:01going to be better. Less trips to the red zone, he's going to be worse. Now, I am very confident that these 11 running
8:07backs are the top 11 running backs that I would want on my fantasy team at the moment. But after we get past the first
8:1411, this is where things begin to flatten out and get very difficult.
8:19Leading us off in the C tier, I'm going to have Beel Tutin. Obviously, did not play this past week. He was on his buy.
8:26What's most encouraging for Toutin, what I did not like early in the season is I did not like the Laquent Allen snaps and
8:34Bashel Tuton being severely limited as a receiver. But against the Philadelphia Eagles as well as against the Houston Texans, we had back-to-back games with
8:44Beel Tutin seeing at least three targets and he looks damn good. And obviously this is a very, very strong Jacksonville Jaguars team and offense. Now, Bucky
8:55Irving is a massive riser as well because now that we have Baker in, this defense looks good. Again, I don't want
9:02to overreact to what was a super weird game environment playing against the Carolina Panthers. But if we can project out this Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense
9:12being better going into the future, obviously you would assume that that means Baky Irving is going to be able to run the ball more often. Now, Chase
9:21Brown continues to fall. Chase Brown is averaging 12 and a half fantasy points per game so far this season. By far and
9:29away the worst mark of anybody that we have talked about.
9:34Like the next worst running back in points per game is Bashel Tuton who's averaging over two points per game more than Chase Brown. He has yet to hit 20
9:43fantasy points in a single contest. What I keep going back to is while yeah he looks bad, the yards per target the
9:51lowest mark in his NFL career. the yards per carry, the lowest mark in his NFL career. And at the same time, Sam Perine
9:59got the goal line usage this past week.
10:01Yet again, this man's averaging 13.7 carries per game, five and a half targets per game. He's averaging over 19 per um opportunities per game in a very
10:13good Cincinnati Bengals offense. So, while he's been horrible, and I completely understand that, I still want to be giving Chase Brown the benefit of
10:24the doubt based on what we have seen with the two prior seasons based on the volume being there as well as the
10:32Cincinnati Bengals offense still being a great offense in general.
10:38Now, moving to DeAndre Swift. DeAndre Swift in my weekly rankings has been way ahead of these other running backs, right? DeAndre Swift has been a top 10
10:49running back here consistently, but that's been given the context of us having no Kyle Manungai here in Chicago.
10:58Once Kyle Manungai comes back in, I very much am concerned that DeAndre Swift may slide backwards just a bit. Now, our
11:09next running back is going to be Jaylen Warren. So, if you're looking at Jaylen Warren, the talent, the man is incredible. However, if we look at what
11:19we have seen with the share of his backfield with and without Rico D. Rico D's out there, Rico Dattle isn't just
11:27out there on useless first and second downs in between the 20s either. You're getting Rico Dattle on the field in both
11:37the twominute drill which we saw which I thought was very surprising and on top of that you are getting this man on the field in the goal line
11:48packages. So that's kind of the worst case scenario for Jaylen Warren and it is something that I am concerned about from a usage
11:59perspective. But the Pittsburgh Steelers offense looks very good. And at the same time, again, Warren just looks so damn talented in his own right. Now, moving
12:08to Josh Jacobs. Josh Jacobs struggled as a rusher behind a very bad Packers offensive line, but the
12:19receiving volume was there. And Jacobs as a receiver just looks like he is bringing a different dynamic to this Green Bay Packers offense. Again,
12:29Marshon Lloyd has proven to be one of the worst running backs in the entire NFL. So, at this point, I think it's a
12:37safe assumption that Josh Jacobs is just the feature down running back and he's going to absolutely crush.
12:45Now, Bree Hall as our next RB, I mean, it seems like he is just paused here at 18 in our rankings and every single week
12:54we think he's going to be a little bit better. every single week we are proven wrong. I I guess actually he was a
13:00little better this week. He was able to make it to practice just obviously not playing. Now Brilen Allen's look pretty damn good. So if you wanted to make an
13:09argument, oh Brillin Allen isn't going to just walk away from this. You can make that argument if you want. Now going to Jeremiah Love. Jeremiah Love
13:20missed his second straight game. Um it looks like at this point I mean this team has no faith in Tyler Alier really
13:27like they pivoted over to I mean out of all players Bam Knight and split the backfield between Algier and Bam Knight
13:36but again the fact that they want a running back by committee no matter what maybe doesn't bode that well for Jeremiah Love when he eventually does
13:44come back.
13:46Saquon Barkley is going to be the last running back in this tier. If Saquon Barkley crushes against the Dallas Cowboys defense tonight, obviously they
13:55have a very soft defense. There is a very real world outcome that Saquon Barkley jumps up to running back 12th in
14:03our rest of season rankings. And there's also a very real possibility that the Philadelphia Eagles lose tonight and they go crap. Um there's no reason for
14:14us to play for anything at this point.
14:16Let's just go ahead. Let's ship Saquon Barkley off to like the Minnesota Vikings. And if that were to happen, it would be a better spot for Barkley, of
14:24course. Now, going over to our D tier, Quinn Sean Judkins had himself a phenomenal day. I know it seems like we
14:33are ranking Quinn Sean Judkins very low here as the RB2 where he is averaging 13.2 fantasy points per game and has
14:42been the RB 17 in points per game so far this season. But again, I think based on what we saw with Dylan Samson actually
14:51having I want to say 30 more receiving yards than Judkins this week, Judkins only having one target. Maybe I'm wrong in saying this, but I personally believe
15:00that Dylan Samson is going to eat into the receiving work that Judkins had earlier on. While at the same time,
15:09I also believe that the Cleveland Browns are not going to continue to win. o over 60% of their games, 70% of their games,
15:19they are five and two. Now, again, this could be something I'm wrong. I'm an idiot. I get things wrong all the time.
15:26But I don't expect us to end up seeing the Browns at the end of the season as a team that's 14-3.
15:35I don't expect them to be 12 and five.
15:40So, I I think we have some Browns losses. Judkins is a touchdown or bus running back in that scenario just because again he's not really going to
15:48be used that much as a receiver out of the backfield. Now looking at Oi Gordon, Olly Gordon has been great as the
15:57starter for the Miami Dolphins. He has clearly proven he is the guy over Jaylen Wright, but with that being said, he's averaging
16:071.3 targets per game.
16:09He is also a touchdown or bus running back. very similar to Quinn Sean Judkins. The only difference is his team is definitely worse with the Miami
16:19Dolphins in comparison to the Cleveland Browns. Now, moving to Raandre Stevenson. Raandre Stevenson over the past two weeks has expanded his role
16:28dramatically over Trevian Henderson. We have mixed in a little Cory Ker into this backfield, funny enough. But the concern that I'm going to have is there
16:38is a small possibility that we did have Trevon Hitter just going straight to the back seat given the high ankle sprain
16:46that he maybe shouldn't have played through. So again, I'm going to be very clear. There is more likely than not
16:57a Radre is the starting running back here in New England, but there is a chance that Trevon Henderson expands his role and it
17:06does turn into a little bit more of a running back by committee.
17:10Now Jordan Mason will be our last running back in this year. A Jordan Mason could actually rise given the status of Aaron Jones. Aaron Jones gets
17:20injured in this game. Now again, it is going to be tough to make a ranking right now super early Monday morning
17:28until we get an official Aaron Jones statement, but if you have no Aaron Jones, I would say Jordan Mason is going
17:35to be an absolute lock must start running back, especially like this next week against the Detroit Lions. He's not going to have a great role as a receiver
17:43though, so that will concern me a bit.
17:46Now moving over to our Etier running backs. Looking at Travis ETN, I have him on my own fantasy team. I am excited to
17:54get him back. I have been starting Alvin Kamara over the past few weeks. My expectations personally are going to be that Travis CTN is the guy that you
18:04want. Travis ETN is the starter. But at the same time, like Alvin Kamar is not just fading right out into the
18:13background. Kamar is going to have usage as a receiver.
18:17Now looking at Kyle Manungai, sounds like there is a chance that Kyle Manungi is coming back this week or next week.
18:23He's missed a considerable amount of time. He's missed three weeks. Now this Chicago Bears team is having to play at
18:31Seattle this next week. Now Rashad White is a running back that I also have on my own team. I personally am very excited
18:42to start him over the next three weeks.
18:44I will say there are pretty tough matchups as we're guaranteed to have no Jakori Kroskarit. But then if Jakori Kroskarit comes back in four weeks,
18:53Rashad White will be going back to a running back in a committee that is very difficult to trust. Now again, I'm
19:01actually probably gonna rank him in my weekly rankings over some of these guys like Olly Gordon in the short term just
19:08because with no Jakori Cross Merritt, the volume's pretty certain and White will be a receiver. Now, sorry, we are going to have to add Cam Scataboo here
19:15at 25. It's very difficult to figure out where to rank Cam Scataboo right this second because it does sound like he
19:23ended up getting injured at the end of the game when he slid and iced the game against the Houston Texans. So, we're
19:31going to have to wait for the injury reports. What I will say is Cam Scataboo looked incredible. JJ McCarthy looked good as well and this team was able to
19:39run the ball over and over and over again. And Tyrone Tracy may be hurt as well. though if you have an injured
19:45Tyrone Tracy and Scataboo is fully healthy and the New York Giants don't bring in a running back. Scat is going to be usable but very similar to Quinn
19:55Sean Judkins Olly Gordon. Um Scat's getting literally nothing as a receiver.
19:59So he'll be a first and second down running back but in a pretty good offense, pretty good team and he's a
20:04good player. I will say though the Giants did mention that there is a chance that they are looking to add another RB. I don't think it would be
20:11like a Jonathan Taylor player, but they could add a JK Dobbins level player.
20:16Now, for Marian Hampton, he's coming out of the by-week, and I will say the usage was better against the Kansas City
20:24Chiefs in week six than what you had in weeks four and five. He did play 50% of the snaps against the Kansas City Chiefs
20:31in week six. The problem as it stands is he's in a threeman running back by committee in what has been the worst
20:39offense in the NFL. Now, I do think the Chargers are going to be a very much improved offense, but do I expect them
20:47to go from the worst offense in the NFL to the um top 10? No, they're probably going to go from the worst offense in the NFL to
20:59like the eighth worst offense in the NFL. And if Hampton stays in a committee in that context, it's going to be
21:04brutal. Now, Blake Cororm is expanding his role here in Los Angeles. I still would have a very difficult time trusting him outside of you being
21:14desperate with buys, but if you were to get an injury to Kiran, again, Blake Corm at that point probably turns into a
21:21top 12 running back. Now, Jonah Coleman had a ton of work to the point where if it was his first game back, the man had
21:31this much work against the Arizona Cardinals. 11 total touches, like 50% of the snaps. And on top of this, we have
21:40Shawn Peyton saying that they need to get Jonah Coleman more involved into this offense. I think that there is a very real possibility that we end up
21:50seeing JK Dobbins get dealt whether that's to Minnesota, whether that's to the New York Giants, and then all of a sudden it's just Jonah Coleman and RJ
22:00Harvey as the one-two punch. Tony Pard had a career game with 36 fantasy points today. However, he's had four games this
22:10season with fewer than eight points and one game this year more than 13. And this game was the blowup with no Taji
22:18Spears. If we end up getting Spears back into this offense, I do think that you will have to yet again lower
22:25expectations for Pard. Zack Charbanet and Jarian Price will be our last two running backs. It sounds like both of these guys are going to be back this
22:34week and Emanuel Wilson will go back to most likely being useless. But my concerns with Charbanet, he's coming off a very significant injury. He's way
22:44ahead of his timetable. Most people thought he wasn't coming back until Thanksgiving.
22:49And if we saw Kenneth Walker plus Zack Sharpet split the backfield last season to the point where neither guy was startable, I don't know how excited I
22:59can be about them this year. Now going to our F tier, we'll be let off with David McGomery. I don't really trust the
23:09talent of Montgomery. the fact that he is not a receiving back.
23:17I and him coming off an injury as an older guy. I just have no interest in the Houston Texans running backs. Rico
23:24Dattle, honestly, I probably need to move even higher than this. Like, I think Rico Dattle's like a poor man's Blake Cororum where if you're desperate,
23:32you can start him. But more importantly, if you were to see an injury to Jaylen Warren, Rico Dowl does turn into a
23:40league winner. RJ Harvey does take a backseat here now that you have Jonah Coleman back in. He's in a three-man running back by committee. Gives us 14
23:50points this week. Actually helps out some of the best teams I have him on.
23:53But the man had a total of five touches.
23:56So, it's very difficult to get behind RJ Harvey in a three-man committee. with Trevian Henderson. He is also in a three-man committee as well. And it
24:04looks like he's possibly either one just dealt with the ankle sprain or two, maybe he has just straight up played himself out of a role here.
24:15Aaron Jones gets injured. We are going to have to wait for the update with the Aaron Jones injury, but he was probably
24:21done and dusted even before the injury.
24:23And now it's Jordan Mason's backfield.
24:26Woody Marks is probably going to be in the lesser of the Houston Texans committee with David McGomery. And if we are looking at Woody Marks specifically,
24:38I mean, you're not going to be able to start him this next week with the Texans on buy, then week nine, he's not
24:44startable. McGomery comes back. So, I think he's just like a handcuff on your bench. And then Brilan Allen is And then Brilan Allen obviously remains
24:57a top 10 running back when Bree is injured, but I expect that there's a good chance Bree comes back this week.
25:04Now, um, honestly, I probably should still have Brillin Allen at the top of this tier, but I don't view him as a
25:12startable name with a healthy breath. I think he'll just be a pure handcuff. Now we can run through some of these guys
25:18late. Kaylin Black pure handcuff. Emit Johnson pure handcuff. Both should be rostered in every league though. League winning upside at the starter. Where to
25:24go down? Now JK Dobbins. Um at this point I think Jonah Coleman's going to come in and steal his lunch. He had six
25:30carries today with zero targets. No interest unless he gets traded. Mike Washington pure handcuff. Brian Robinson pure handcuff. Katon Mitchell handcuff.
25:40Seth McGawan all of a sudden does become an interesting handcuff given the possibility of a Jonathan Taylor trade.
25:47Emanuel Wilson now I think is going to be the running back three on the depth chart here. Charbanet Angarian Price coming back this week and Tyrone Tracy
25:55got injured in this game. So it's very very difficult to say anything exciting about him. But I think that's it for
26:02these rankings. Please, if you have not done so already, make sure you drop a like on this, subscribe to the channel.
