Alvin Kamara

NegativeProjection2:04

Alvin Kamara is not performing as a reliable fantasy starter, with the host noting he is 'not cutting it' recently.

Insight page

Dameon Pierce

NegativeValue8:07

Dameon Pierce is not worth a roster spot unless Saquon Barkley misses time. Even in that scenario, the Eagles' offense is projected to be below average, limiting Pierce's upside to a potential one-week fill-in.

Insight page

David Montgomery

NegativeInjury0:44

David Montgomery suffered a groin injury on Sunday that head coach DeMeco Ryans considers 'week-to-week.' His absence opens the door for Woody Marks to take over as the starter for the next two weeks before the team's Week 8 bye.

Insight page

Dylan Sampson

PositiveDepth Chart6:53

Dylan Sampson may return from IR this week for the Cleveland Browns. If he returns, he could serve as the team's third-down back, potentially splitting work with Raheem Sanders.

Insight page

Jordan Love

PositiveProjection25:37

The source recommends Jordan Love as a top streaming quarterback option for the week because the Packers are projected to score the fourth-most points in the NFL against a weak Dallas Cowboys defense.

Insight page

Kendrick Bourne

NegativeBust18:21

Kendrick Bourne is labeled a waiver wire trap. He played only 49% of snaps against the Lions and has never finished as a top-30 wide receiver in points per game since entering the NFL in 2017.

Insight page

Pat Freiermuth

NegativeUsage16:37

Pat Freiermuth is currently running hot on touchdowns, with four scores on only 26 targets, which is unsustainable. While he has been a viable TE8 (12 PPG), he needs to see an increase in target volume to maintain his fantasy relevance. He is viewed as a similar flex-fill play to Jeremy Bernard due to injuries in the Pittsburgh receiving corps.

Insight page

Quentin Johnston

NegativeUsage20:37

Quentin Johnston has been horrific, failing to score eight fantasy points in any game this season. While he may be forced into usage due to injuries to teammates, he is dealing with a chest injury and plays for an offense projected to be the lowest-scoring unit in the NFL this week.

Insight page

Quintez Cephus

NegativeInjury5:47

Quintez Cephus was seen in a boot following his game, raising concerns due to his previous foot/ankle injury. He is currently considered day-to-day.

Insight page

Raheim Sanders

NegativeUsage5:26

Raheem Sanders is not recommended as a waiver add. While he would serve as the first and second-down back for the Browns, the team's offense is not one to be excited about for fantasy purposes. He is not expected to have a massive role, especially with Dylan Sampson potentially returning to handle third-down duties.

Insight page

Samaje Perine

NegativeBust12:05

The source warns against picking up Samaje Perine, labeling him an obvious trap. Perine is a 31-year-old handcuff who has never averaged 10 fantasy points per game and is currently on a bye week.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

NegativeInjury2:00

Travis Etienne is currently dealing with an injury, which has created a need for running back depth on fantasy rosters.

Insight page

Tyler Lockett

PositiveValue26:46

The source identifies Tyler Lockett as a strong bounce-back candidate and a priority waiver wire pickup if a frustrated league mate drops him; his recent negative fantasy point performance against the Vikings is dismissed as a result of facing the worst possible matchup.

Insight page

Woody Marks

PositiveValue0:26

Woody Marks is the most obvious waiver wire add for shallow leagues due to David Montgomery's groin injury. He is expected to serve as a low-end RB2 and a two-week fill-in, having played 85% of snaps in Week 5. Expect a committee backfield once Montgomery returns after the Week 8 bye.

Insight page

Xavier Worthy

NegativeUsage18:57

Xavier Worthy is a potential waiver add if dropped, specifically if Rashee Rice misses time. He has been highly unproductive, averaging 0.7 yards per route run and failing to record a 15-point fantasy game in his last 17 appearances.

0:00Now, the waiver wire has been incredible
0:01over the past few weeks, and I honestly
0:03think this is going to lead to some
0:04people being a little too aggressive on
0:07the waivers in week six. So, I'm going
0:09to be honest, there are like two or
0:10three names that are interesting. There
0:12are some interesting streaming defenses,
0:14but outside of that, most of these guys
0:16aren't interesting. Most of these guys
0:18are just straight-up traps. We'll go
0:20through the entire list. Let me start it
0:21off with the most obvious add and the
0:24guy that if he is available, you need to
0:26go and get Woody Marks. Now, if you're
0:29in a deeper league like my league, Woody
0:30Marks is drafted. Of course, he never
0:32hit the waiver wire. Um so, I'm sadly
0:34not going to be able to put in a bid for
0:36him, but I do want to talk about the new
0:38expectations that we'll have for those
0:40shallow formats where if you're in a
0:4110-team format, good chance that he is
0:44on waivers. So, David Montgomery goes
0:46down with a groin injury on Sunday, and
0:49this is going to open up the depth chart
0:52for Marks to essentially just take over
0:55as the straight-up starter. The report
0:57that we got on Monday was that head
0:59coach DeMeco Ryans said he considers
1:01David Montgomery's groin injury to be
1:03{quote} "week-to-week."
1:05Now, if we go over and we look at the
1:07schedule for the Houston Texans, this is
1:10going to be something that's an
1:11interesting note for Marks as well as
1:13Montgomery. Cuz I went through and I
1:15almost put in an aggressive trade offer
1:18to Jinxy for Woody Marks in the Flock
1:20League thinking, "Hell, I have Travis
1:22Etienne injured. I really need a running
1:24back too as Alvin Kamara is not cutting
1:26it." But, the hold-up that I had is if
1:30you are looking at the Marks pick-up,
1:33he's probably only going to be a viable
1:35fill-in for 2 weeks here. This week in
1:38week six, they're going to be playing at
1:40Jacksonville. This Jags defense is
1:42pretty damn good. I wouldn't expect
1:44Woody Marks to be cracking my top 20
1:46running backs this week in my rankings.
1:48He'll probably be top 24. He's going to
1:50be a low-end RB2. He should see a
1:52ridiculous amount of snaps though. He
1:53just played 85% of the snaps against the
1:56Tennessee Titans in week five. Then in
1:58week seven, you get to go up against the
2:00New York Giants, but then they have the
2:02week eight bye. So, my expectations at
2:05the time of this recording will be that
2:07Woody Marks is about to be a low-end
2:09running back two based off of volume for
2:11the next two weeks, then we get the bye,
2:14then David Montgomery comes back in, and
2:16it probably turns into a running back by
2:18committee where nobody is startable.
2:20Now, I'll be honest, I hope I'm wrong
2:22cuz I drafted a lot of Marks this year
2:25and very little Montgomery. Y'all know
2:26I'm not a big Montgomery guy. But if I
2:28go over and if I look at what Woody
2:30Marks was in 2025 in his rookie season,
2:34this man was the starting running back
2:36for a decent section. Like he kind of
2:39took over as the lead back in week three
2:41with 47% of the snaps, and then through
2:43the rest of the way he was anywhere from
2:45like 47% all the way up to 88% of the
2:48snaps here in Houston. And during that
2:51stretch of like 10 games, Woody Marks
2:53had three games or I'm sorry, four games
2:57with 15 or more fantasy points and only
2:59one game with 20 or more. So, we kind of
3:02know at this point Woody Marks isn't a
3:04super special talent, this isn't a super
3:06special offense, this isn't a great
3:08offensive line, this isn't a great
3:10rushing attack. So, Marks is a two-week
3:12fill-in with no Montgomery until you hit
3:15the bye and then he probably goes back
3:16to being in a committee. But he's
3:18actually one of the better pickups this
3:19week. Now, the other pickup's going to
3:22be at wide receiver tight end. I'm
3:23actually going to save that for later on
3:25cuz I do need to talk about some running
3:26backs here. So, Raheem Sanders is going
3:28to be the fill-in that you have for
3:30Quintez Cephus. I don't know a lot of
3:31people have been talking about. I
3:33typically wait to record these videos
3:36until super early Tuesday morning, super
3:38late Monday night. That way I can get
3:40all the latest injury information
3:41available for y'all. Um so, we don't
3:44have a mistake like telling you you need
3:46to grab Sanders cuz while Quintez Cephus
3:48was seen with a boot immediately after
3:51the game, and I know that raised a lot
3:52of red flags because that's the
3:54ankle/foot
3:56that was bothering him, of course,
3:58coming into the season after he had the
4:00devastating injury at the end of last
4:02year. He is considered day-to-day as of
4:05right now on Monday night. So, I would
4:08not expect Raheem Sanders to have some
4:11massive role here in Cleveland. The
4:13other interesting note is this Browns
4:15coaching staff actually did come through
4:18and say that Dylan Sampson may be coming
4:20back here for the Cleveland Browns this
4:22week as well. He is eligible to return
4:24off the IR. So, even if Judkins were to
4:27miss, he probably only misses one game.
4:30And if Sampson comes back, he may
4:32actually be the running back that I'd
4:33want, but he would be more so like the
4:35third down back where Raheem Sanders
4:37would be the first and second down
4:38running back. Ultimately, it's the
4:40Cleveland Browns offense where you're
4:41not going to be super excited by
4:43anybody. So, I would avoid Sanders and
4:45let somebody else on your waiver wire
4:47get up. Now, I was prepared to make a
4:50pretty aggressive add in my league for
4:53Damien Pierce. Now, my running back two
4:56is in shambles. I Travis Etienne got
4:58injured, and at the same time, my
5:01backfill for him with Alvin Kamara looks
5:04like he's just not the dude. So, I
5:06thought Damien Pierce was going to be
5:07incredibly compelling this week. But,
5:10the problem with this is it sounds like
5:13the Eagles are actually hopeful that
5:16Saquon Barkley may be back in week six,
5:19which obviously if Barkley comes back
5:21this week, Damien Pierce is nothing.
5:23He's He's not worth the roster spot.
5:25Now, if Barkley were to miss, the setup
5:28is Will Shipley suffered a partial tear
5:31of his plantar fascia during Sunday's
5:34loss to the Jaguars that could sideline
5:36him for multiple weeks. So, Pierce, a
5:39running back that we have seen be
5:40productive way back early in his NFL
5:43career, would then be taking over with
5:45no Barkley, with no Will Shipley, with
5:48no I mean hell, Tank Bigsby either.
5:51Everybody's been injured here in this
5:53Philadelphia Eagles offense, and maybe
5:55Damien Pierce would be startable. The
5:58problem that you're probably going to
6:00run into though, is the fact that this
6:04is no longer a phenomenal offense. The
6:07Damien Pierce setup here for the
6:08Philadelphia Eagles, we can see that
6:11while the Eagles coming into the season,
6:13a lot of people including myself felt we
6:15thought they were going to be a good
6:16team. Right now this upcoming week, the
6:19Eagles project to only score 22 points
6:21against the Carolina Panthers, which put
6:23them as a slightly below average
6:25offense, and that's in the best match up
6:27possible. So, best case scenario Damien
6:30Pierce is like a one week fill in, and
6:32that's if Saquon misses. Again, there's
6:34a chance that Saquon plays. Now going
6:36over to Marshall Lloyd, Marshall Lloyd's
6:38a running back that's been dropped in a
6:39considerable amount of leagues. He was
6:41actually dropped in the Flock league,
6:42Bush picked him up, and he came through
6:44and had himself a fine day. He had two
6:46rushing touchdowns, 16 and a half
6:48fantasy points, but he still looks very
6:51bad. I think this is another obvious
6:53trap. He yet again played fewer than 50%
6:56of the snaps for the Green Bay Packers.
6:59Yet again, the efficiency was horrific.
7:01He is averaging 2.8 yards per attempt so
7:04far this season, and the receiving
7:06volume isn't great either. I mean, he's
7:08sitting here averaging two receptions
7:10per game. So, I don't think Marshall
7:12Lloyd is that interesting. Like if
7:14you're in a really deep league and you
7:15need a desperation play, he does play
7:17the Dallas Cowboys this week. So, I
7:19guess you could look at him as like a
7:21one week fill in, but we may get Josh
7:23Jacobs back in a few weeks. Now, the
7:25other trap that I'm going to see is
7:27people going to pick up Samaje Perine.
7:29While Samaje Perine scored a touchdown
7:31this past week, Samaje Perine also had
7:3416 total touches.
7:37What what the hell are we doing here?
7:39Samaje Perine is a 31-year-old running
7:41back that has never averaged 10 fantasy
7:44points per game.
7:46Do not try to get cute with it. Do not
7:48go and pick him up. If Chase Brown got
7:51injured, then yeah, you would add him.
7:53But, the Bengals are on a bye this week.
7:57Are you really going to run out there
7:59pick up Samaje Perine to hold him
8:02through his bye
8:03to then have a 31-year-old handcuff
8:05running back that's never been anything
8:07for fantasy? No, don't don't get cute
8:08with it. It's still Chase Brown's
8:10backfield. So, again, running back
8:12position, Woody Marks is your guy. He's
8:14going to be a 2-week fill-in. Raheem
8:16Sanders, Dameon Pierce potentially are
8:191-week fill-ins that you can look at.
8:21Samaje Perine is an obvious trap. For
8:23the love of God, don't pick him up. But,
8:25going over to wide receiver, Jeremy
8:28Bernard is actually going to be somebody
8:30that you can look at here. The reason
8:32for this is obviously Michael Pittman
8:34Jr. hit the IR already, and then Roman
8:37Wilson gets injured in this game. Jeremy
8:40Bernard, the second-round pick by the
8:42Pittsburgh Steelers, steps up. He has
8:45nine targets, six receptions, 80
8:48receiving yards. And Aaron Rodgers comes
8:50out after the game, and Aaron Rodgers
8:53praises him. Sounds like Aaron Rodgers
8:55and him are buddies, which obviously if
8:57you are a receiver for Rodgers, it's
8:59very, very important that y'all are on
9:01the same page. So, if you're in a deeper
9:03like 12-team double-flex league like I
9:06am,
9:07I actually think realistically
9:09this may be somebody that I pick up, and
9:11I consider throwing in my second flex
9:13spot here in the short term, as I'm
9:15going to have to deal with the Justin
9:16Jefferson and Jameson Williams bye this
9:18week. But, you may be in that same
9:20setup. Now, I don't think Jeremy
9:22Bernard's going to turn into like some
9:24league-winning players. So, if you're in
9:25like a 10-team format, I'll be honest, I
9:28don't think he is that interesting. Cuz
9:30like if we go over and look at DK
9:32Metcalf as an example, DK Metcalf right
9:35now this season is the wide receiver 36
9:38averaging 9.7 fantasy points per game.
9:41So this still isn't an incredible
9:42offense that you want a ton of wide
9:44receivers from. So Bernard definitely
9:46looks like he can help through the buys
9:48over the next few weeks and I may
9:50actually put in a bid for him in the
9:52flock league. Now I think a cheaper
9:54version though if you need a flex fill
9:57in this may be boring is going to be Pat
9:59Freiermuth. Now if we go over to
10:01Freiermuth he is running incredibly hot
10:03on touchdowns. Like don't expect
10:05this type of touchdown volume to
10:07continue going into the future because
10:09so far he has had a total of I want to
10:13say four touchdowns off of 26 targets
10:15this year. So there's no way in hell
10:17that keeps up. If you want Freiermuth to
10:20continue to be viable in fantasy where
10:22he's been the tight end eight in points
10:23per game averaging 12 fantasy points per
10:26game so far you would need to see the
10:28targets trending in the right direction.
10:30But the same reason Jeremy Bernard looks
10:33to get an uptick is what you have with
10:35Freiermuth, right? Calvin Austin Jr.'s
10:37on the IR. Roman Wilson's out so you got
10:39like Metcalf, Bernard, Freiermuth as the
10:42top guys. Obviously Darnell Washington
10:44as well. For me I will probably put in
10:46two bids to try to help fill my second
10:48flex spot this week for both Bernard and
10:51Freiermuth cuz I kind of see them the
10:53same play. I don't think either guy's
10:55going to be a league winner but I think
10:57based on all the injuries to the pass
10:58catchers that you have in Pittsburgh you
11:00can look at them. Going over to Kendrick
11:02Bourne obviously people are excited
11:05about Bourne given the Marvin Harrison
11:08Jr. trade that you had with Marv going
11:11over to Houston. Don't pick up Kendrick
11:13Bourne. This is another very obvious
11:15trap. He actually only played 49% of the
11:18snaps against the Detroit Lions this
11:19past week. If you picked him up to play
11:21him against the Lions it was probably a
11:23good call because the matchup was so
11:25strong. But this dude has been in the
11:27NFL since 2017 and never been a top 30
11:30wide receiver in points per game. Not
11:31interesting in the slightest. Now, names
11:33that were probably drafted in your
11:34league, but also probably dropped, will
11:37include Xavier Worthy as well as Quinton
11:39Johnston. Now, I actually drafted Xavier
11:42Worthy in my league, and I gave up on
11:45him. I cut him in week four uh because I
11:49had looked at that profile and I said,
11:50"Hell, over the past 17 games, Xavier
11:53Worthy has zero games with 15 or more
11:56fantasy points." Xavier Worthy going
11:58into week four was averaging like 0.7
12:02yards per route run, looking like one of
12:04the least productive wide receivers in
12:07the entire NFL despite this being a
12:11really good offense here in Kansas City.
12:13But, if somebody in your league dropped
12:15him like I did in mine, it could be an
12:17interesting shout for Worthy if Rashee
12:20Rice misses this week cuz obviously you
12:23have Tyquan Thornton down. If Rashee
12:25Rice misses as well, they're going
12:27through they're assigning like I think
12:28they just signed Justin Watson to try to
12:30fill in. Obviously, they need players to
12:33get the ball to, and Worthy could be one
12:35of those. And then Quinton Johnston will
12:37be the other guy that maybe was dropped
12:40in your league, and very similar to
12:42Xavier Worthy, Quinton Johnston has been
12:44horrific. He is yet to score eight
12:47fantasy points in any game this year.
12:50But, very similar to Xavier Worthy, he
12:53may have to get used because Lads
12:55injured, Trey Harris is injured, the
12:58tight ends are injured. So, Quinton
13:00Johnston's kind of the last guy left
13:02standing. Now, I wouldn't be super
13:04optimistic about Johnston cuz one, he's
13:07still dealing with his chest injury. He
13:08is supposed to be limited in practice
13:10this week. I honestly think he probably
13:12ends up playing on Sunday. But, as we
13:14roll over to our defensive streamers,
13:17we'll see that the Chargers currently
13:19project to be the lowest scoring offense
13:22in the entire NFL this week. Like, let's
13:25go over and let's look at your waiver
13:26wire pickups at the defense position.
13:29The top pick up that I have is going to
13:32be the Kansas City Chiefs. There is a
13:34damn good chance that the Kansas City
13:37Chiefs were dropped in your league
13:38because they had a bye week last week. I
13:41currently have a pretty aggressive bid
13:43on them because they are going up
13:44against the Los Angeles Chargers and
13:46typically obviously y'all know I love
13:48using the markets and trying to look at
13:50these spreads, trying to look at these
13:51over unders, identify teams are going to
13:54be very heavy favorites where their
13:55opponents are going to score very few
13:57points. And right now if we pull up
13:59polymarket.us, you can see the Chiefs
14:02have a 79% chance of beating the Los
14:05Angeles Chargers here and the Chargers
14:07project to only score 16 and a half
14:09points this week. That is the lowest
14:12projection that you have from any
14:14offense in the NFL this week. Again,
14:16everybody's injured and this team's been
14:18horrific, 0 and 5 currently. So I have
14:21an aggressive bid in for Kansas City.
14:24Now if you wanted to check out any of
14:26those markets, you can find the link to
14:28polymarket.us in the description as well
14:30as the comment section. If you sign up
14:32with promo code flock, you are going to
14:34get $25 out of your account after you
14:37deposit your first 10, available in
14:39every state outside of Nevada. Now
14:41moving over to some other potential
14:43pickups that you can look at. The
14:45Baltimore Ravens will be a solid pick up
14:46as they get to go up against the
14:47Cleveland Browns. The Pittsburgh
14:50Steelers maybe are already rostered in
14:52your league, but they are getting to go
14:54up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The
14:56New England Patriots get to go up
14:58against the New York Jets. The
14:59Indianapolis Colts get to go up against
15:01the Tennessee Titans. And then obviously
15:03the Seattle Seahawks are already
15:04rostered in your league, but those are
15:06the defenses that are playing against
15:08the offenses that project to score the
15:10fewest amount of points on the week. So
15:12again, I think my bids in currently in
15:14my league are for the Chiefs defense,
15:17the Ravens defense, and then the Colts
15:19defense in that order. But that's also
15:21because I think the Steelers and
15:22Seahawks are already rostered in my
15:24league, and the Seahawks are definitely
15:25rostered in yours. Now, if you need to
15:27look at some streaming quarterbacks,
15:29maybe you have like Jared Goff on bye,
15:31right? There are two names that stand
15:33out that have really good matchups where
15:35their offenses project to score a ton of
15:37points. The first one is going to be
15:39Jordan Love, where the Packers project
15:43to score the fourth most points in the
15:45NFL this week, only behind the Rams, the
15:48Bills, and the Niners. And that's
15:50because they are going up against the
15:51Dallas Cowboys, who arguably have one of
15:54the worst defenses in the NFL. So, I
15:56think that this should be a setup in
15:58which we get a ton of points from Jordan
16:01Love, and that excites me cuz obviously
16:04I personally have Christian Watson. And
16:06then, somebody that will be a very
16:08interesting pickup, just in case you see
16:11a leaguemate drop them, will be Tyler
16:14Lockett. Now, Tyler Lockett obviously
16:16has been phenomenal so far this season,
16:18so I doubt he gets dropped in your
16:20league, but I just feel like we need to
16:21talk about him because, hell, he just
16:24had negative fantasy points against the
16:26Minnesota Vikings. But, that was because
16:29it was the worst matchup you could
16:30possibly have. Going up against the
16:32Minnesota Vikings is something you do
16:34not want to see from your quarterback.
16:37So, um this next week against the
16:39Giants, the Saints project to be in a
16:41pretty big bounce-back spot. So, if your
16:43league's shallow, if somebody's
16:45frustrated that they just started
16:46Lockett you scored negative points, um
16:48you could definitely pick him up and
16:50look at him as a streamer. I think
16:52that's all I got for y'all. I really
16:53appreciate you. Hope I was able to help
16:54you out in some way. I'm going to be
